Big K BBQ catered our sons wedding this past weekend. The food was a big hit. We had pulled pork, chicken, green salad, potato salad, rolls and the (very popular) cornbread casserole. I called them about 6 months ago and made arrangements. I worked with Jennifer. They had a tasting in February which was wonderful! They were extremely reasonable and everything we needed was provided from plates, utensils and napkins. They served about 100 guests. They were set up and ready to serve in 10 minutes. I would highly recommend Big K BBQ for any event.

The food is amazing! They have an all you can eat lunch buffet Wednesday through Friday with ribs, smoked chicken, smoked sausages, pulled pork, barbeque medley, smoked chicken, and bourbon meatballs. Their cornbread casserole is my favorite. Its the perfect place for a quick lunch between working, or to go hang out with friends and family.

This place looks a little rough from the outside but the inside is clean, bright, and inviting like a home kitchen table. The food is delicious, my favorites are the meatballs, cornbread, and tender melt-in-your-mouth pork ribs. Nice selection of barbecue sauces, both house made and MFT. The owners are full of smiles and always happy to see you. It seems like they love what they do. Free beer Friday is icing on the cake.

It was quite good! Meat was served "unsauced" -- which I like, so I can mix spicy and mild sauces, and as much or little as I want, to my liking. Pulled pork with "Carolina Mustard" was new to me and very good. Kinda pissed I forgot they have a buffet on Fridays... maybe next week!!

Don’t know if your food is good or not but this is the third time I’ve been over there and you have been closed all three times. Update your google listing. So we are now headed over to Mister BBQ where at least we know they are open and good.

Best BBQ joint in town! Check out their bbq buffet W-F. They offer a great LOCAL beer and wine selection. We had the tri tip sandwich and portobello mushroom. Check this place out!! They also do catering.

We hosted an event last night for NARI of Idaho and had Big K BBQ cater it for us. We got rave reviews for the food. It was beautiful and tasty. Just the right amount of smoke on the tri-tip. The green salad was just so pretty and full of vegetables. Everything delivered on time and they thought of everything to bring, including the hot water for the chaffing dishes. Thank you Big K and Jennifer and Stephen. Wood Windows Inc will definitely consider you our go-to BBQ people.

This place is a great hide a way in Garden City for any meat lover. The prices are very reasonable and there food is amazing. On Friday, they have a great, affordable lunch buffet for $8.99. There aren't a lot of food options up and down Chinden Blvd, and Big K BBQ is always a great choice. Try their tri-tip sandwich. You won't be disappointed

Passed by this one day and put it on the list. Read an article in the Statesman that gave an overview and decided we needed to go. . It did not disappoint! Cost is $15.85 per person. IT’S WORTH IT if you’re a bbq fan. Cornbread casserole alone is worth the visit. Staff is friendly and helpful and restaurant is cozy and clean! Give it a shot... and think of the price of a half rack of ribs if you can’t get past the price.

This is your classic "hole in the wall" BBQ joint. No frills, high quality food. They just opened an adjacent sitting room which will soon have Garden City brews. Don't blink or you'll miss this place ... and it is 100% worth your journey off the beaten path.

We stopped in there today, got some pulled pork. The interior is a nice place for lunch, and, the pulled pork was delicious. They have some beer, wine, and even a couple of ciders, from local places - Cinder, LongDrop, etc.

I had been eager to try the barbecue and stopped by to get takeout though was disappointed on a couple of fronts: the ribs were way too dry and the server who took my order did not seem very familiar with the menu and could not answer very many questions. What was most notable was that she wasn't particularly gracious about it. I might try it again but ribs are not the least expensive thing to order so it's risky to make a mistake twice as you know what they say about people doing the same thing again and expecting different results...
