Taking Bacon to the next level? Well, not really. a few different kinds of bacon on decent common comfort lunch food. Not bad, just good. I'd go again, but it is not worth the long wait at lunch time.

Thoroughly disappointed. The coffee was cold, the food was cold, my poached egg was cooked through to a hard yolk. The server didn't bring my side order of bacon and then they pretended to put fresh bacon on the plate RIGHT IN FRONT OF US. Save your money.

This morning I had the Steak and mushroom burrito with sausage gravy, and a beautifully done mimosa out on a relaxing porch setting at a fantastic little foodie stop downtown Boise called what else but BACON. The bacon crumble on top of the burrito had to have been pig candy because it had a wonderful sweet crunch which only made the already excellent burrito that much better. If you find yourself downtown Boise in the morning and need a place to get breakfast you gotta stop here and give it a try, really good I promise.

I was a little hesitant to go to a bacon themed restaurant, but after looking at the menu I quickly realized how many ways you could fit bacon and to many dishes. I decided on the bacon burger which was delicious. Menu said something that it was 2/3 bacon 1/3 meat and it tasted that way as well. Very delicious bacony flavor. My wife and I felt we needed to go here in order to make our travels to Boise complete.

I loved the hash, so perfectly prepared with sliced beef, delicious eggs, potatoes, fried onions. A hash I’ll never forget — thank you ! Might be a bit greasy, if I had to critique anything. The ordering procedure and serving system is sensible and intelligent. It’s a really great restaurant.

The fact that an owner publicly berates his customers if he doesn't see eye to eye concerning issues which are completely compliant with the laws of the land is reason enough to go elsewhere. If he simply addressed the issue in a courteous manner by letting any of his customers who happen to be legally carrying firearms into his restaurant know that he made a mistake by not posting a "no firearms" sign in advance, or to simply let it slide and then post the following business day so as not to make his own patrons feel uncomfortable, that would have been much more professional. Instead, he felt obligated to be an absolute jerk and score political points with his ideological allies at the expense of alienating half of his clientele. Not a good business model, and not the sort of individual deserving of the business of the broader populous. Clearly this guy is an ideologue, to the extent his ideological blindness has impaired his business sense and judgment concerning politeness and customer service.

This place was delicious. The Bacon Shots come with 5 different types of bacon to try. They were all delicious. My personal favorite was the spicy bacon. I also go the special for the day which was a chimichanga, that was so perfect to can't even begin. The Boise omelette was perfect. Plus the biscuits were so warm and flakey. The jam that came with it was so flakey and full that you cannot go wrong. While waiting I also tried a sample of the bacon scones and man had I not already ordered so much I would have gotten those too.

Can't comment on the service, it's all ala cart but the food was very good. Very diverse menu, plenty of choices. Pricing was good. If you're up for an adventure this would be the place to go.

Pretty fun place to eat, but a bit pricey for typical pub fair. 2 dollars for a slice of fancy bacon, if that's your jam. It's cozy inside, with a bar, and outdoor seating. Craft cocktails are off the hook here!

The gal who took our order didn't even make eye contact as she was more concerned with what was going on around her. Nothing about all the do it yourself process was explained to us. My husband ordered a bloodymary and was told not till 10.00 it was 915 at that point. That's ok except she could have told us he actually could get one if we went to the bar. No creamers, my food was awful. Eggs over cooked, biscuit came with cold butter that you can't spread. My husband's biscuit just crumbled couldn't eat it let alone try to put anything on it. We ordered small doughnuts with bacon on them but was not informed that the bacon was spicy. Yuck. I'll never go back. They are also against gun carrying. .

Delicious brunch! The bacon sampler (served in shot glasses) was creative and tasty - exactly what I would hope for at a place called Bacon. The venue was noisy (not great for conversation), and it was difficult to get a table for four on a weekend morning. The employees were friendly and helpful.

Bacon ... what more is there to know!? :-) Visited this Sunday AM and like most breakfast joints on a Sunday, be sure to pack some patience. Although the line to order was largely to the door the whole time we were there, the food is worth the wait. Also, insider tip, grab a seat at the bar, order a Bloody and let Eric take care of you (ie- eat at the bar) Eric was friendly and attentive, we wanted for nothing. Thanks bro!

I tried it once and didn't find it worth going back, breakfast at home is much better and way more bacon. I'm also glad I conceal carried when I went in since I wouldn't been allowed to eat what I paid for anyway. Good luck staying in business in Idaho.

They are good.The only thing that could have been better is their hours.Not a morning person here. As for all that commotion with Mr Christensen's party it looks like it was blown out of proportion.Restauraunt is not an airport or a shooting range.Nobody frisks you or your belongings,but there is no need of brandishing weapons in public place unless you intend to use them. But opinions do differ as well as individual levels of perceived trustworthiness.I,personally,would not trust our fatfaced rep even with a fork.

Brunch was delicious! We mostly went for my husband because he loves bacon and I’m good without it, but this bacon was delicious! Nothing like the stuff you buy at the store or get at most breakfast places. I would highly recommend this place. All the staff was very friendly and I liked the laid back atmosphere.

This place honestly served the most delicious bacon I have ever tasted in my entire life. The prices were reasonable for the great quality of the food and the lovely interior of the restaurant. I ordered the lasagna and it tasted amazing! I recommend this place to anyone who likes bacon and is visiting Boise!

Food was really good and came out faster than our wait in line. We went on a Saturday for brunch and it was quite bumping. Flavor profiles were fairly balanced for the Bacon Lasagna and Arkansas entrees we had. The Lavender Fizzy Gin (or something akin, I can't fully remember the name) was light but you could still taste the Gin come through. Thoroughly enjoyed!

Walking in to an inviting and festive atmosphere that is clean throughout and family friendly. Very busy and counter service only. Drinks and food came out fast and server was friendly. Bacon shooter was delicious and offered a fun and unique treat. Bloody Mary was underwhelming and basically just tomato juice and ice. Everything else was good. Overall I will return and hopefully drinks will be better next time.

Super delicious. Oatmeal and cheesy eggs were a hit for kiddos. The Benny Hill was the perfect amount of spice and the potatoes are definitely better than everywhere else. Coffee was good and fresh. Service was fabulous! All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable with a rest sense of humor.

First and last time going to Bacon. I was super excited to try this place and the service made me lose my appetite. The workers we asked for things made my family feel like a burden. Then after a misunderstanding with the bar, the rude bartender (tall, blond, long haired male) made us feel as if we were trying to get out of paying for our drinks. Which was absolutely not the case. After explaining it was a misunderstanding and going to pay for the drinks, he was still talking ill about my boyfriend and me. If you would like to feel like a burden while eating out, this would be the place for you!

I really liked it! The service was nice and it was a great place to sit down for lunch. Foodwise it isn't too healthy, but you could do much worse, and it was good. For a place I never knew existed, I liked it. Also good if you have a half hour lunch too.

Skip it. Overpriced for a serve yourself breakfast joint. The gimmicky ‘flight of bacon’ was over cooked and my husbands breakfast burrito was flavorless and dry. It was so HOT in the restaurant too, we couldn’t bear to sit there long enough for me to even finish the only tasty thing we ordered, a Bloody Mary. If I hadn’t felt sorry for our busser and forced my husband to go back, he wouldn’t have left a tip at all. Go to Goldy’s instead.

Great breakfast place for special occasions or family and friends visiting from out of town. Bacon testers are a must. Bloody marys if you like. Prepare to order at counter and seat yourself. If you are from Idaho this may seem stressful because of how popular this place is.

In the tradition of the Hipster fad you have to order at a counter and there is limited table service. Higher prices do not reflect service, apparently. The biscuits and gravy were mediocre-at-best and served lukewarm, with little flavor. The rest of the meals we ordered for breakfast weren't bad. The bacon lasagna sauce was not very good. When we asked a question about whether or not there were eggs in one of the products that Cook's response was I don't have time to check.

Not only the bacon is incredible but all the food options! The individual bacon strips are well worth it so be sure to try their classic bacon strip it's amazing. The spicy bacon is very spicy so he ready for a strong kick if you choose that option.

Clean, fast, bloody Mary! Pretty good food! Bacon and bloody mary was awesome! The quiche could've been better. It was huge but lacked any real flavor. I'm surprised they didn't put bacon in their quiche and could've done without the potatoes in it. Everything else was great. Would recommend to a friend but pass on the quiche.

The food is awesome. The prices aren't so terrible as to break your bank. The service is great and always polite and friendly. The coffee is good enough to enjoy whilst black. Which is to say outstanding. My girlfriend and I have decided to make this our place to go at least once a month. Would recommend to anyone who loves good food and coffee.

First off, let me start by saying this: If you cook bacon, people will come. I flew from South Georgia to get a taste of this. Every piece of their menu has something to do with bacon. Went in for the first time to have breakfast on the weekend. They were fairly busy but it did not take long to get our order in. The food was great but they forgot our drink orders and it took a few times of asking before they brought them. Pretty expensive for a breakfast place.

Visited Bacon and as always, it was a great experience. However, this time we came for dinner instead of just Bloody Mary's. The food was great. You walk in past the bar, head to the back and order your food. I had the "Benny Hill" (Eggs Benedict) and my wife the "Josh-Hash". Both were delicious. If you love their bacon, having the Benny Hill will get you more of that delicious bacon with your meal. The Bloody Mary's were great as usual! Breakfast and two oBloody Mary's with tip was about $40, which I think is pretty reasonable.

If you want to stand in line to order for 20 minutes for a grease soaked plate of food this is the place for you. It used to be a nice place but the quality and experience has really dropped. We’re out.

Great brunch, awesome location friendly staff fantastic food. Get the bacon flight and their take on eggs Benedict, you won’t be disappointed ! Their Spices they use on the fries rocks. Yum yum !

Nice looking place, good service. Will plan to experience a few more times. But I did order a bacon burger that came without bacon. And it was borderline uncooked. If I visit again I won’t be getting the burger.

This is a great spot for brunch. Their spicy bloody mary is on point, plus it comes with bacon! One of my favorite things about BACON is the specials. Whomever is coming up with those specials, never stop. Other than their bacon, I recommend the berryhill or the kurobuta, I have not ordered off the regular menu that's how good the specials always sound. Most recently had their version of croque monsieur, delicious. With the weather warning up, they have a great patio space as well. 10/10 would recommend.

Stopped in here for breakfast and was pretty surprised by the menu. A very tasty and also bizarre selection of unique items. Don't be fooled by the "Bacon Coffee". It's the resto's coffee, not bacon flavored coffee.

First off, I'm a vegetarian, so I didn't partake in the bacon but those I was with did. They have a sampler- bacon shot- that allows you to taste the different types of bacon they have from sweet to savory. I love the ambience. The lights are dim and really give a rustic chic vibe. The bartender greeted us as we walked in. It was out first time so he pointed us to the ordering location towards the back. We ordered and we could pick our seats. We could grab our own water. From their menu they really appeal to the foodies that eat pork. They have a coat rack for those winter times. They also apparently fundraise for local things which is pretty neat. I'm from out of town, socal, and the vibe of this place is yummy.

Panini was okay, there was more bread than bacon though. Grits were awful, but we are north of the mason-dixon line so I guess it's my own fault for getting my hopes up.
