Celebrated my 23rd birthday here and it was awesome. Staff is friendly, food is delicious especially the wings. Not as spicy as i was hoping for but still good. Place gives you the option to control the music. Got pretty tipsy lolz.

Comfort food with attentive staff. Everything on the menu is reasonably priced. The goat cheese salad was tasty. Both indoor and outdoor seating available.

The staff here is just awesome. Trivia on Tuesdays is amazing. Food is what you expect from a bar. Bottom line, even if you are terrible at trivia (and we are) it's a ton of fun.

When I went for Monday-night trivia, neither the bartender nor the waitress seemed to understand what an amber ale was, but there are many fantastic beers on tap to choose from. They're calorie-ridden cocktails are delicious though, and their heavy-handed vodka sodas are dangerous! Typical pub fare for a generic Sunnyside bar — great after you've knocked back two (or twelve).

Went for wing night(mondays). Great wings and drinks. The service was very slow considering the restuarant wasn't even busy.I had to go to the waitress, back and forth to get more drinks, the bill, and my credit card back. Was really annoyed at this.

I ordered 40 wings for as small super bowl gathering at 5:15pm. It took them three hours to get the order to me. After two and a half hours, I tried calling but it took 30 minutes to actually speak to anyone. The phone kept ringing and said no one could pick up. They had an option to leave a message but, guess what, the mailbox was full. So here I am, hosting a party with no food, and no indication of if or when food was going to be coming. After 30 minutes of calling non stop, someone finally picked up and my wings showed up 30 minutes after that. unfortunately the wings were not hot and had to be reheated and were also a bit dry. They did try to make it better with 4 free cans of soda, but I really don't think it makes up for a 3 hour delay with no communication and then cold food when it finally does show up.

Such a great bar in Sunnyside! Lived there for 15 years and this is one of the best changes. The ambiance is beautiful! Staff is friendly. Food is so good sober or drunk! Love this place! (Too bad i live in NJ. This is my visit to Sunnyside spot)

Primarily a sports bar, they have reliably good food at normal prices. Outdoor seating is great in the summer (I rarely sit inside). The best part is the attentive and kind service. As of writing this (September 2015) the waitresses and the owner all provide great customer service.

We came here for the outdoor seating which is a plus because my friend and I have dogs. I'm giving 4 stars based on good customer service, the food can use improvement. I enjoyed my AM wrap but I wouldn't say it was the most amazing steak and egg wrap I've ever had - I think they could have done without the feta cheese tbh. For my drink, I got the nutty professor which has coffee and alcohol - tbh the coffee could have been stronger, was a bit on the weak side. The manager came by our table which we appreciated and my friend and I gave our feedback about what could be improved regarding the food we ordered. Overall it was a good experience, nice place for outdoor day drinking and small bites.

Whether you want to dine at a table (indoors or outside) or just have a meal or drink at the bar while you watch a game - bar 43 is a great choice. Reasonably priced (they could have better craft beer/brunch specials) and they are always willing to turn on whatever game you want.

Happy to know the wings are organic. The rest of the food and drinks was typical bar food. Our server messed up a few orders; our food went to another table and my boyfriend didn't like their Not So Old Fashion. Overall its an okay local bar with lots of TV's.

Love the Atomic Wings here and the bartenders are great. Have yet to try the brunch as it is suspended during Football but someday! Also there is a crazy guy who comes in half the times I've been there and harasses the customers, wish the owner would tell him to stay away. Great place to grab a beer!

This is a great place for groups because they have a big round table. Beautiful, made from wood. They also have a long bar, and a long counter top parallel to the bar, mirroring it. So tons of space.
