Busy ... and for a reason. The menu is varied but not overwhelming. Draft beer and wine selection is wonderful. The food? Awesome. My guest had a burger (nicely cooked on a brioche bun) and I had the soba noodle salad which was very flavorful and satisfying. A special shout out to our server Dylan. Two thumbs up!

Great food, great environment, but didnt notice until after the bill, we each tried 2 beer samples before making a decision, so 4 samples, and ordered 2 beers, we were not given the 1 dollar off happy hour price and charged 50 cents per beer sample. Never had that happen anywhere, so minus 1 star.

We arrived about an hour before close on a Saturday night and waited almost 15 minutes for a server to greet us and get our drink orders. Then another 10 minutes to get one beer and another five to get a soda. 40 minutes in we finally got our food and my ‘well done’ hamburger was charred and tasteless. The server only checked on us twice and seemed to be in a rush both times. I had to call her back to the table to ask for a napkin since we had only been given one for the two of us. It was very frustrating especially since the entire time we were there, a group of servers were just hanging out and talking next to the bar. Very unhappy with our entire experience.

A bit pricy for a burger-pub ( $16-17 for a burger is $$, this is NOT LA) but OK! Wolfgang Puck it is not but it is good eats for the area.The menu could have a few more choices besides a turkey sandwich or fish-and-chips.

Yummy food, great atmosphere and friendly service. Sitting on the patio when the weather is nice is fun. Right in the heart if Hyde park, the location provides nice scenery and and a great spot to people watch while enjoying drinks or a meal. Prices aren't too crazy and the entire menu sounds appetizing.

3 of us went there yesterday for a birthday lunch. First time there. Food was good; love the hot fresh cut fries. Fish & Chips were excellent. Most fish served like this is heavily breaded with a butter milk batter and is way too much breading and very greasy. But this product was very good. Service was good. A couple of negatives; the tables are sticky and need refinished. Also, this is an open air place when the weather is nice, like today. No screens in the windows. Don't appreciate doing battle with the bees and flies while trying to eat and have a conversation, hence the 3 stars. May come back when it's colder and the windows are closed and try it again. BTW...the response below seems to assume we were sitting outside. We were sitting inside to avoid pests. When the windows are opened and there are no screens, the bees and flies get inside. Flies are some of the filthiest critters around. Having them on your food is disgusting. You should make more of an effort to keep them out of the restaurant dining area. I've been in food service for 35 years. I know of the problem and how hard it is to deal with. But leaving the windows open without screens? How is that going to help? UPDATE; on Father's Day, after a nice afternoon ride on the Harley, we stopped for a mid afternoon dinner. The food and the service were excellent. Being a warm/sunny day it was nice to have the misters on. We enjoyed it so much, four of us are going there for dinner tonight.

I love this little gem in Hyde park! Food is always good. Whether I'm with a large group or just the hubs and I - food and service are consistent. Good menu selection to please all. Love the spring/summer time when it's all open air to the charming street..and the fall/winter is cozy and warm with the fire pit. Always a fun relaxed vibe.

Tried to watch the womens world cup final here. No sound on TV's allowed outside the bar, waitress was abrasive and unhelpful and the resturant was overwhelmed/unprepared for a major viewing event. Food was good but took 45 minutes to arrive.

Not a lot of options in the menu. Decided to go with the burger. Price definitely doesn't fit for the quality of the food. Meat was quite tasteless, greasy and watery at the same time, the bun looks like paper and quickly flattened out nearly disappearing while I was simply trying to hold it. No one comes to refill your drink. Location is nice, set-up is nice but food is what really matters here and it's not that good.

I'm been returning to 13th Street Pub & Grill for several years because I enjoy their location and food. But it's annoying when they repeatedly serve me the wrong wine. I've sent it back on numerous occasions, so I know it's not some "off night" reason. I've learned that if I want a specific wine on the list, I must order the bottle or argue with the server that they gave me the wrong wine. Really? Additionally, things changed over the past few months and now their service is extremely slow. Recently I sat for 15 minutes while servers ignored me and walked by several times. I finally had to stop one of them and ask for a menu. I love their location, the food, and the seating, but I'll visit less often.

Great place with a fun atmosphere and good environment. The inside it's lined with glass and perfect during both winter and summer. Warm fireplaces greet you. Service was above average and friendly. Food was great and casually upscale. Cocktails and beer. Located in a desirable location too with other shops nearby. Overall cool place that is family friendly.

Disappointed they don't have gluten free options other than salads. When asked, I was told they do not have a gluten free kitchen and did not seem willing to cater to those with food allergies. Considering the location and clientele you'd think they would make an effort.

Had a great meal here. Loved the pretzel with cheese sauce. Will try the maple sauce next time. They have happy hour for some items. Love the outdoors seating here. The kids loved watching everyone walk by. The turkey sandwich was awesome!

The best ambiance I've ever experienced in a restaurant. It's a very, very nice establishment with outstanding food and service. I was impressed just when I was approaching the place and walking up to the front doors. Both the patio seating and inside seating are great, and during the summer they have a fine mist and fans to cool the outside. I went and had an absolutely lovely time!

Bad dining experience. Asked waitress Alisa ahead of time if the sliders had onions. Hubby is allergic. She said no. Hubby ordered the brisket sliders and I ordered the fish and chips. Orders come out and hubby gets hamburger sliders with sauteed onions. A man delivers it. We let the man know that he can't eat onions. The man says I'll put in another order for you. We let the man know that we'll pay for the original burger sliders too so we can take them and give them to our daughter. Waitress goes back and cancels the second brisket order and I eat by myself all the time thinking that my hubby is going to get his food soon. Finally, I ask if his order is going to come out and she tells me she cancelled it. Then she brings out the bill and tells us she reduced it because we didn't get the brisket sliders that we ordered. Wow! We will not be back.

Came in on a Sunday about noon and the place was busy but we were seated promptly. Stephanie our server came over very soon after being seated and explained the choices of the day as well as items not available. Drinks were tasty and properly mixed, food was equally prepared and the servose was excellent. We really appreciate the fine service.

I chose The Grinder and requested the beef be cooked rare, they delivered and it was full of flavor! It was an amazing sandwich. Horseradish, Au jus, bread was toasted perfectly and soft on the inside, it was dressed with toppings that complimented and completed this masterpiece of a meal. The Caesar salad was full of the best romaine and topped with shaved parmesan paired with a memorable dressing. The only thing that was off with our dining experience was a female server that was a little loud, boisterous and seemed to forget that maybe she was at work and not at home.. it's always great to see people enjoy their workday and get along with their co-workers.. however when we go out to pay for and enjoy a meal at a restaurant (and not a pub environment) it's nice to be able to enjoy a great meal such as this in a bit of a more peaceful place.

We didn’t have the chance to eat here, because they are NOT dog friendly. They do show up on a google search for dog friendly restaurants in Boise. They have a huge patio and sadly don’t have even a section that’s dog friendly. The place across the street “Sun Ray Cafe”, is very dog friendly, so we went there instead.

We had our company luncheon here last weekend. What a great place! The meeting room was cozy and wonderful...perfect for our needs. The waitress was excellent. The food was phenomenal! Best lunch I've had in ages. Everyone was pleased with the entire experience. This is a great place to bring out of town guests wanting to absorb a traditional North End neighborhood place.

There was six of us and the place was not crowded and the service was very slow with a server that did not know how to smile. It took almost 30 minutes to get our appetizers. The food was also a bit late. My wife could not eat her dinner and I had to share mine with her. Don't think we will be back anytime soon.

Great location. I love the big open layout. I have been here twice, though the food isn’t the best. It was also rather inconvenient that the misters are on full blast in the summer. We asked to be re-sat, so that we weren’t covered in water by the end. The mister dripped repeatedly on my colleague. I was also rather irritated with the Aperol spritz that I received. I had to send it back with proper instructions—the instructions are listed on the bottle FYI.
