What an incredible burger! The meat was so succulent and tasty. I had Swiss and mushrooms on my burger and it was a great combination. I'm thinking I might need to eat here four or five times a week while I'm here, it was that good!

If you want a great burger at a good price this is the right place. The seating is pragmatic but that's not overly tragic. The staff is nice and you get your food really quickly.

Burgers were delicious!! Moist and juicy patty on a soft toasted bun. Definitely a new island favorite.

These burgers have big patties and have an off-the-grill, smokey taste. There aren't a whole lot of burger places that cook there patties on a grill instead of a flat top, but this is one of them. This place has one of the best burgers I've ever had. With the great taste comes a little extra grease, so I recommend eating your food right away. Amazing burgers.

Update: I was very happy to receive the message from the owner addressing this concern and I understand nobody is perfect. Thank you for making everything right! They told me an item contained no dairy. After waiting for it I find out it did. I asked for a refund and waited longer as they called someone to find out how to do a refund. They were also happy to keep my tip

Great burger place with an awesome ambiance. We had a fish burger and the bean burger. Comparing to many other awesome burgers I have had this was an average burger. I trust the ingredients but the burgers didn't had any flavor punch. Felt like a lot of raw ingredients stacked together. And from a size perspective really small burgers. So order 2 if you are really hungry :)

Burgers from local grassfed cows, cooked to order. (Also bean Patty or fish Patty). We were excited because my youngest likes it plain, and they offer a naked burger at a lower price, (and they have kids sliders) and the rest of us could load it up. Pineapple, avacado, jalepeno, bacon etc. Ultimate fries with Aioli sauce also very tasty!

Cheap, fast, and delicious. Burger is small, we opted to split a burger and fries as the portions are usually so large at burger joints, so we left a little hungry but we were just trying to not get on the airplane completely starving. The gal at the register was nice, even cut the burger for us. The food came out fast and hot. The mayo "aoli" is surprisingly good, not usually a mayo and fry person. All in all, best fast cheap lunch we've had in kona.

I had the Ultimate cheeseburger and added sauteed mushrooms. The meat itself was very good beef. Good flavor, juicy and fresh. Served on a brioche bun and delicious. I dont eat a lot of burgers because I'm picky about the meat. I give this joint 2 thumbs up!

Ultimate burger was great for lunch. Service was fast and the staff was friendly. The burger was juicy also the fresh cut fries are always a plus. They have a homemade sauce that is mayonnaise based didn’t care for it too much personal preference. Presentation was done well. FYI the size of the burger could fit into the palm of your hand.

Pretty good burgers!!! Good buns, great fries, friendly service. Glad we found this place. It was well worth the effort, lip smacking good! I'd go again but I had to go back to the mainland...so if I get back to Kona I will be back to Ultimate Burger. Casual, fast food atmosphere.

My family is on vacation and we came here because a different restaurant was closed. I am thankful that it worked out this way because the food was awesome. The burgers are very fresh and seasoned to perfection. The fries are excellent and I was really pleased with how well the homemade aioli is sauce tasted. The burgers had such an amazing taste to them. My only suggestion would be the restaurant could offer more burgers that are restaurant specialties instead of everything being a custom burger. Also offering a fried egg would be a homerun

GREAT char broil flavor. Had the ultimate burger with all the toppings and house sauce. The fries were thin and crispy, which the type I like most. The meal was a perfect lunch. Small dining area inside but there is additional seating outside. Kona Longboard lager on tap!

This place has amazing burgers!!! Homemade buns, sauce with the fries... everything was so yummy. The single burger is small but a double would have been the perfect size. The fry basket is small to split with 4 people but they were delicious and worth getting your own or to just split with one other person. It’s a typical burger joint atmosphere.

This is a solid burger. Very lean and rich charcoal flavor. The bun is soft and just right. The fries are the star of the show. As the meat is lean, the flavor and texture leans toward the dry side.

Had the Double Decker. It was massive, and great. Needed a little ketchup but perfectly cooked meat. The fries were good and the sauce was amazing. Will have to stop back by if in the area.

Very average burger, fries don’t come with it and beyond basic toppings like lettuce and tomato they cost an extra buck or two. Definitely not worth the price they are sold at. The fries on the other hand are great! The sauce and slice that come with it almost make up for the sad burgers.

My visit was not so ultimate with grease in and out. Bun was soggy and small. Too small. The burger needed some seasoning. Shoe string frys totally soaked in grease. Oh, and bring your own straw.

The restaurant was in top form Friday night. The crew who were working did a great job. Jojo is a treasure to have working the front counter greeting and taking orders. He also kept the tables cleared and cleaned whenever he had a chance. The cheeseburgers we ordered rare were cooked to perfection. We sat outside and numerous people stopped to ask if the burgers were as good as they looked. Everyone who saw our burgers chose Ultimate for dinner. We have been to Ultimate Burger several times over the past few years and every time, except for once last year, they have been great. They gave us a coupon to make up for the problem. They use local and organic ingredients as much as possible, which is why we go, and also because they are a local business. Their beef is local grass fed and the fish is fresh caught for fish burgers. They make their own aoili sauce. They also make their own lemonade, and serve local green tea. Highly recommend. Stay as good as you are Ultimate Burger! Update- went back a couple days later (Sunday)and it was just as excellent as the previous visit-hard to find restaurants that are consistent. Will be going back again!

Just ate a terrible burger from Ultimate Burger. The meat smelled old and tasted terrible. When my husband complained, the cashier looked at us like we were stupid. We have been enjoying burgers at Ultimate Burger for years, unfortunately we will never eat there again.

Great burgers. We had to make a last minute dinner stop at 8:00 on Sunday night. Ultimate Burger was overflowing with customers. We had to sit at the end of the shopping center but the UB guy followed us with all the food. It took a while to get our food since it was strangely so busy.
