I selected Tikis for our wedding dinner on 9/5/19. We had a great dinner! My friends and family loved the food and view! The service was great and it felt like a very special dinner. If you are looking for a great view and want to have a nice dinner after your destination wedding, I'd choose Tikis. Tikis also has two awesome event coordinators Jenni and Jennifer! They were great throughout the whole process! Your event can be low key or more like a wedding reception they do if all!

Located across street from ocean and park. Good ambiance. Assigned seating along view side but open tables about them with ocean in sight. Live music and hula dancers. Daily specials and 2-5 happy hour. Fantastic service from Chats who knows how to work the patrons! She assisted customers in both areas and while professional, she's friendly and charming making everyone feel valued. She seems to enjoy her job and it really shows. We will be Back!name misspelled! Chara!!! And the guava ribs were excellent! Thank you, Chara!!!

Awesome bartenders. Great service. Drinks on point. The nightly live music rounded out the vibe at the bar. Very nice. Would come again. Good happy hour and nightly drink specials. Food can be a bit pricey depending on what you order but it tastes good.

Ocean view is great, service is quick and friendly. Menu is great as well, covers many types of dishes. Fish, burger, sliders, pork, enchilada, poke bowl, soup, pasta, etc. Ingredients are good quality. Much better than Lulu’s. One warning though, Mai Tai’s are very strong.

Amazing place!! I went to Tikis on my last night in Honolulu and as soon as we got there me and my boyfriend were so happy with absolutely everything. The hostess was so nice and polite and the view from the outside tables is amazing!! The food and the people working there are very polite and they are always taking care of you! The Calamari Stack appetizer was insanely tasty and good. We wolfed it down. Mai Tais were very good. We ordered the risotto and Opa (fresh catch). Great service, food, and the views were spectacular.

Great place to relax and unwind. The waitress and manager were very friendly and attentive. We mentioned that we got married in the Coconut Club and the food was catered from Tiki's. The manager told us that they no longer cater to the Club and the hotel now uses the room as a mini bar and continental breakfast area for the guest. That's so sad. It's a wonderful venue for a wedding, grad party or birthday party. But not to worry, you can also book an area at the Tiki Grill & Bar with just as spectacular view, wonderful staff and great food.

I went with my family a few weeks ago and I thought we had great food and service.. Well I thought I'd take my husband for his B-Day.. Horrible waiter.. My husband ordered drinks and Calamari.. We received the drinks but the calamari never came.. The white male waiter basically argued that we never ordered and I'm a stickler about my husband ordering.. I know we ordered because I heard my husband say it.. We were just gonna have calamari and a few more drinks but because he felt the need to be right I'll never go back nor have my family visit this place. I live here and will not return!!

My husband and I first went to Tiki’s last March when we stayed at the Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel which is where Tiki’s is located. The staff is super friendly, the drinks are tropical and fun, and the food is elevated local fare. It quickly became our favorite hangout and we were able to bring home the whole collection of Tiki glasses that they serve their specialty cocktails in and sell.

It's ok. The menu was awfully complicated and had nothing normal on it, everything had a very weird twist to it. I had to Google half of the stuff that was in the items on the menu to know what it was. The food was ok but the portions were crazy different. The people in our group all had starters and when the food came out two of the dishes looked like full sized mains. In fact one dish had two plates full of food and looked like two full main dishes but it was served as one starter. Wouldn't rush back here but was a ok experience.

Went there last week and had their Furikake fries and the prime rib poke, but with Tofu. The server( Hannah) was super helpful with finding vegetarian options and helping me exchange meat for tofu. Also my two drinks (Water and Coke) never got all the way empty. The ambiance is great, the view from the terrace is amazing and I got told they even to life music at night. I'll be back for sure.

The best bar in waikiki! My fiance has been going to Hawaii for 10 years and ALWAYS comes here, so he was really happy to bring me to meet the regulars he knew there. Rick the bartender is awesome! Service was always on point by everyone working there, they work as a team to ensure you're always with a drink or taken care of. The prime rib poke bowl is SO good! I like to add a side of rice and avocado and BOOM, delicious! One of the best places to also watch the sunset!

Super awesome location for a great time with great views and fun atmosphere! The 1944 Mai Tais were very good and the souvenir glasses are worth the price, very tall and thick. Food was great, but my husband was not liking his ribs he said was burnt on one side. I loved my garden salad and glad I added chicken to fill me up

Seating - can look out over the beach with a table setting of 4 people max. There are about 10 spots over the balcony facing the beach. Arrive a bit early if you want to grab one of these spots. Food - there are 2 pages to the menu for entree and main. We tried the Thai chicken salad and the Ribs, both were massive portion sizes so be prepared to share. Drinks- the most vast amount of options available on the menu. Cocktails we fantastic and the beer options were great too. There are some free souvenir cups you can get too with some particular cocktails.

I’ve never felt compelled to write a review of a restaurant until now as this was the worst dining experience I have ever had. The waitress forgot our waters we ordered right from the start and it took her approximately 10-15 minutes to remember to bring them. Upon receiving the waters, we requested bread as we were very hungry. She finally brings the bread with butter. No utensils. So of course we have to ask for those as well. We finally order the meal and we wait. And wait. And wait...at this point it’s approaching 9 pm. She finally brings us our food and the salad we had ordered with chicken was lacking chicken and salad dressing. At this point I’m completely fed up as we were very hungry and tired so we request to see the manager. The manager comes over and we explain what a terrible dining experience it has been thus far. Rather than offering an appetizer to hold us over, as we are starving at this point and it’s nearly 10 pm, he snatches up our plates and states “Let’s just start over and make something new for you”. We were offered drinks from the bar and he did bring those to us rather quickly. Upon finally receiving our meals, they were pretty tasty but at this point it was after 10 pm and we were exhausted and pretty much “over it”. The waitress brings our check and the manager had “given” us the 2 free drinks from the bar only...didn’t comp the meal, no reduction in meal prices for all of the inconveniences. We reluctantly paid the $50+ tab for food we didn’t enjoy and a terrible experience and left. Needless to say, this place is obviously poorly managed or we just caught it on a bad night. Regardless, I wouldn’t recommend ever darkening the doors of this establishment.

Food here was excellent. The calamari app literally was our favorite food that we had on the island, maybe because it was the first, but we were very impressed. The waitress is a marine biologist so we had some good conversations. The atmosphere was cool. Well done, I hope we can come back someday.

I was actually pleasantly surprised with this place. Love the burgers, fries are on the thick side, but still pretty good. Check in on Yelp and you get a specific free app which is a $13 value. Great ocean views!

We were so excited to finally try this place out as we have lived down the street from it for a while. We make a reservation on a Wednesday night to take our visiting friends. We arrive on time at 6:30 and are seated. We order three drinks and it takes 20 minutes for them to arrive, and I look around and the place isn’t even that busy, it’s wednesday. But whatever, I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt, but no, when they do the beers are so warm. So we ask for our check for the one drink that was consumed and we plan to head out to get dinner at a place that is actually edible, respectable, and with reasonable prices. It takes another 15 minutes to receive the check for one thing and then another 15 to get our card back. So if you’re counting that’s 45 minutes, FOURTY FIVE MINUTES. If you’re visiting or a local, avoid this place like the plague. Eat at Yard House, Dukes, Flour and Barley, Doraku, or literally anywhere else.

Ordered the lemon pepper chicken sandwich, which is supposed to come with avocado and jalapeños but it did not have any. Asked the waiter to bring me some and he apologized about it and brought me some extra jalapeños and avocados. Overall except for being a bit disappointed on that it was a good experience, me and my wife especially enjoyed the drinks there. FYI you get to keep the cups as a souvenir.

Prices are about right for Waikiki, but the service from Sonya was fantastic and the food was well worth the cost. Our group of 15 was well taken care of and all had a great time. Highly recommend this place for dinner. Only complaint is the atmosphere. It's nestled among hotels and there is plenty of thru traffic that sort of took away from the relaxed vibe. Highly recommend the "roll your own" lettuce wraps. Enough food for a whole meal, even though it's listed as an appetizer.

Gillian was amazing! Brought my girlfriend here for her birthday and we had the greatest talks, on a whim told our server that we were celebrating her birthday and all of the wait staff brought a piece of cake out with a personal message on it and sang happy birthday! Such a fun place. Guava ribs were yummy. Today it was raining but it would be a great patio for sunsets.

Last night we had the best time at dinner that I think I've ever had! Our server Alex was amazing and full of personality. She was attentive, entertaining and knowledgeable. Our view of the ocean was perfect. She is a huge asset to your restaurant and deserves much kudos. We will definitely be back soon! Make sure you ask to sit at her tables. A friend held thier wedding reception here, it was a lovely night, the food was great. We had a buffet style. The noodles were to die for. There was live music, the only thing was the wedding speeches had to be done when the band was on a break. Overall, Tikis was a lovely place to have the reception!

My husband and and I stopped in for lunch and had a good experience. We sat outside and had a very nice view of the beach. The only reason i did not give it 5 stars was because of the construction going on which is no fault of the restaurant. We were provided amazing service by our server Thomas who was always one step ahead of what we needed. The kitchen staff was also very accommodating with my order. I'm one of those people that only likes flats. Most restaurants have their wings premixed by weight and will not change it.This kitchen took the time to separate and weigh the wings. The wings came out juicy and crispy. My husband ordered the Portobello wrap and loved it. We also had shared the mixplate.

Great place to grab a drink and enjoy the sunset. There is a requirement to get a reservation, but I was able to walk-in and they txted me when a table was ready. The sunset from here is unbelievable. Get a table on the balcony, and you'll have uninterrupted views to the beach and palm trees at sunset. Their volcano cocktails are also insane! Get a cocktail, or a beer and enjoy some nibbles with company.

The food here was really good, we had the ribs which were tasty and meat fell off the bone. Along with 3 other starters which were really fresh and the food came out quickly. The drinks were also well priced and made well. We just didn't understand why we had to wait half an hour to get a table when the place only seemed half fun, the bar area was full so we went else where then came back. A good place to try if your visiting Hawaii, service was also very friendly.

Tikiis Bar and Grill is many things. Firstly, it is perhaps the best located eating place and bar in Honolulu... l'm not kidding. Looking out from it's first storey location, is simply what anyone would expect in Hawaii: Palm trees, blue waters, golden sands... and then there is Ambee: Professionally speaking, prrobably the most wonderous bar-tender l have ever seen work. She is simply amazing. Again, l kid you not. Her bosses should clap their hands with joy to have her here. The food was excellent, what l ordered, at least... that is, the Mixed Plate... where you get a taste of every. protein you may like. Seriously, highly recommendrd from every perspective. Check it out.

Great Sunday afternoon fun to sit and drink margaritas or have lunch and listen to the live music...not really kid friendly..after dark it gets dicey as does the entire Triangle around there!!! Seems there is trouble alot in the evenings....the old cliche "Indians,Alcohol and testosterone" not to great for families after 8:30...been cleaned up much.....

Unexpected found here in Honolulu!! The restaurant is located just above Kalāmaua Avenue and offers excellent food at fair prices (15-20 for an appetizer and 25-35 for an entree in the average). The server are fast and super kind, and if you like, you also take the chance to get a photo of your group by a photographer.

However, my husband and I were waiting for this ‘employee’ to approach us to get a photo but she never did. She passed through our table several times asking everyone if the wanted a photo, except to ours. My husband asked for her and she never came. Really disappointed with that. I really wanted a photo.

We had a good experience twice here. We got a group of 20 in only a few hours beforehand. The server that we had was EXCELLENT. She handled our big group with ease, and was extremely personable. We went back the next day for happy hour and had a very similar experience as well. Check them out! Great happy hour specials for that area, and good food.

Would go back. Reasonable prices on food, but drinks are pricey. Large portions. Good service. Lunch menu is fairly small. Went because of a pic from another review that looked good, unfortunately it's not served during lunch. Got the caprese wrap which is more the size of a burrito. The mushrooms in it could have used some work, but overall good. Also a nice view of the ocean.

Worst customer service ever! And I work in a restaurant so my level of patience is high. 15 available tables and they wont seat you because they are backed up. Made a reservation and asked for a table outside and they cant guarantee an outdoor table. Why are you turning down customers when your restaurant is empty.

Tiki's is great! Great place for a nice chill hang out and drinks on a weekend, but also great for adult Birthday Parties! We celebrated my husband's birthday here and I was able to call and make a reservation for the requested amount of people. There was no hassle, no hidden fees, and most importantly no charge to make the reservation! The food was delicious and drinks were tasty. They also let you take home one of their custom Tiki Bar cups (extra cost with drink) if you want a keepsake to remember the occasion. The view from the restaurant is something to take in as well as there is a lovely vista of Waikiki. The view is even better if you go on a Friday night, as you can catch a nice shot of the fireworks that go off every weekend. I would definitely recommend the Tiki Bar as a nice place for couples, and groups and a great place to celebrate a birthday.

This place is AMAZING!! I had our wedding reception here and it turned out perfect! The setup was absolutely beautiful. The food was so good and delicious! The staff was extremely friendly. They even provided us with a wedding table for our reception and my sister and best decorated it to perfection. I had my own carving Station with the best prime rib I've ever had! To top it all off they had a band playing and I was STILL able to have my first dance with my husband and it was such a magical intimate moment I was not expecting! I would highly recommend anyone to have their party or wedding reception here. The coordinators were so sweet and responsive during the whole process. It was definitely worth it! By far the best meal had so far on our trip. The calamari Katsu is an absolute must it was phenomenal. Our server Juan was exceptional. Atmosphere was amazing. Our mains were perfectly executed as well, we each had the fish of the day prepared in different ways and both were delicious. We even had a drink each and they came in nice porcelain cups that you got to take with you as a souvenir. Request to sit on the patio against the railing and take in a beautiful sunset while you eat as well. There was even a live band playing and from where we were sitting it was the perfect background music to a wonderful evening.

This resort-bar-type sets itself apart from others in that it has some unique food options. Not just that, but the food is really good. It’s definitely a little pricey, but that’s to be expected in Honolulu. One of my favorites was the pineapple blueberry cobbler. It was incredible

Good selection of American and Hawaiian fare. Kid's menu was reasonable for the area ($14) and came with a light up cup. I was able to pick a glass with my drink to take home, too. Nice souvenirs of our trip. Lots of seating, indoors and out. Would've been able to see the ocean if it wasn't nighttime. I wasn't blown away by anything but overall, I was pleased.

Photo situation is a bit awkward. Someone took our photo and said the first one is free and we could purchase more after he comes back. We thought he'd come back when we sere done eating, but he came when our mouths were in the middle of a good discussion. Anyway, photos were nice but I think the price was maybe $25 for 1, $30 for both. That puts us over our budget, so we passed. Food was yummy, I only wish there was more per plate because of the cost. If it was more affordable, I would have returned again for sure.

Lunch was good. View is good. Dont tell the waitress you are going to just have dessert and drinks though, you won't see her again for over half an hour until she drops the tab off. Service needs to be on a much higher level than what this place has. Drinks are around 10 bucks which is normal for the area, but half of the menu is only available in expensive souvenir mugs. Dont come if you are looking for a nice bar to have a few drinks.

Nice pork ribs and fries, the fish was decent but I believe the catch of the day was rather tough however the steak was cooked and seasoned very well. Would recommend but be wary of the tourist traps of a complimentary photographer.

Made a reservation via OpenTable only to arrive and be told they're not open and no longer serve breakfast and that OpenTable still hasn't changed the hours. If that's the case then CALL and tell the person with the reservation before they show up.
