Love to find the local joints when we're on vacation. We were gonna go to Leonards but we didn't want to wait that long for a malasado. Next up Sweet E. Walked in greeted right away. Sat down. Ordered Kahlua Pork Omelette, wifey had Kahlua Pork elEggs Benedict. Throw in some POG juice. Meal for a king. Delicious!!!! Next time we're in town we'll stop in for breakfast again. Thanks...

Taras Kolisnichenko

Food was okay Servers were extremely rude, like they were doing me a favor by taking my order

Sam S

Good food, friendly staff. Free coffee refills. Affordable.

Anastasia Skoviak

SO TASTY! Granted I was quite hungry by the time we got there since we had walked a few miles from our apartment on Waikiki, but they were seriously the best scrambled eggs I have ever eaten. The pancakes were also great. The interior has cute pictures of the family that owns the place and it seemed like the staff were all family or at least friends. It had a very homey feel and I loved it. It was quite packed, but we only had to wait maybe 10 minutes for a table.

Toccara Breland

Food was delicious! Service impeccable! Atmosphere and vibes on point! Hidden gem! I had a cornbeef hash, sausage, and mozz, omlet my sweetie had chicken cheese croissant, we also tried the famous blueberry & cream cheese stuffed french toast. Everything was amazing!!!!!! Oliver was our server, while dining we found out he is actually part owner. I'm blown away.

Bas Wouterse

Great place for breakfast and lunch, prices are normal, service is excellent

Marcus Hernandez

The honest to god best breakfast I've ever had. The "Kalua omelet" was amazing. I wish they had one in AZ!!

Lucas Nathaniel

A nice breakfast/lunch Cafe with a fair range of food items at reasonable prices when you consider the popularity of the establishment. Service was exceptionally attentive, with water being brought as we were seated and secondary options being offered immediately thereafter. Our order for two was provided within 10 minutes and didn't need anything to enhance the flavor.

Alex Usanin

Must visit place when you are in Honolulu. The blueberry cream cheese stuffed french toast is a blast! Service is amazing. Can get busy on sunny weekends though.

Jack Okada

Price is reasonable. Food is good. 4 adults and 2 kids are for $50 before tip.

KC Yanamura

Friendly welcome, excellent service and great food. Kalua pig, corn beef hash eggs Benedict is so ONO!! The blueberry cream cheese stuffed French toast was so yummy. Wish we had bigger stomachs.

Nicholas Doty

This place is quite a walk if you’re staying on the Waikiki beach, but it’s entirely worth it. Indoor and outdoor seating that’s covered. Staff was very friendly and quick, and food comes out quickly. Food was GREAT - make sure you go for local options like Portuguese sausage or Kahlua pork!

Arnold B

Went around 1145am with my wife and our 2 kids. Wait was 15-20 mins there was 5 parties in front of us. Ordered Kalua pork eggs Benedict with fried rice, waffle, and Kalua omelette. Food came out in 10mins or so. The food was delicious. Prices are $7-$14 roughly so it's cheaper than most places considering it's location. Would definitely eat again.

Upon my visit on 2/15/19 I did not experience good service. I was a single person waiting to be seated a group of 3 came after me and was seated before me. When I did get seated one of the employees on his way out the door nonchalantly pointed inside seat yourself . I waited for him to come back in and asked where. He replied with a short response where did you want to sit... I said outside... then I sit at the spot he cleared and I was given a menu and for the next 20 minutes waiters just kept walking pass as if I’m not sitting there . Then a different guy comes by and says do I want something to drink I said coffee... he brings it and then leaves for another 15 minutes I get the attention of a random waiter and asked if he could take my order... with an attitude he pulls out his not paid writes down my order... At this point I had enough and asked to speak to a manager and the waiter says there is no manager... it’s managed by everyone... then another guy comes over to tell me how busy they are and that I’m not being overlooked... I told him how they sat people before me and I’m just sitting here waiting to be service mean while they are serving the other clients who are not BLACK. I’m confused because money is green Regardless who’s giving it...

Monica Conway

The food is delicious and the service is superb.

Dillon Morales

Food and service were amazing if you want breakfast while your here this is 100% the place to go!

L. Leong

Great attentive service as usual. For starters, shared a French toast stuffed with blueberries and cream cheese. So delicious!

ron mundy

Wonderful local establishment, Great food with fantastic service

RokZ Tanaka

It's a cute cafe on Kapahulu. Go early because it's very limited on parking and you won't have to wait for a table. The staff are friendly and the food we good. There's inside and outside seating. The outside is a covered lanai. Tables for one, two, four or more, go there by yourself or with friends. I tried the chicken pesto omlette which I would recommend. Would like to go back and try their other omlettes

Marla Smith

Fantastic! Great customer service too.

caroline fauster

Best place to eat breakfast!!!! Other places do not compare to the service and quality of food you get here. This is added to my list of eats in Hawaii.

Jesse Robbins

One of the best breakfast places on Oahu. Consistently top notch service. Every waiter stops to make sure you have what you need / refill water / clear dishes / take you check. Never had a bad dish.

Darren Overcash

Stuffed French toast with fruit on top with excellent. Also have to get the Iced coffee. Free refills. Awesome

Arion Wurth

always fast friendly and delicious

Ally M

The best breakfast in Waikiki!!! Do not even try anywhere else. This place is insanely good, quick, and the food is great portions and quality! I’m so sad we found it on our last day. Thank you sweet e’s

Brocha Otero

Everything was delicious and service was impeccable. Loved the stuffed French toast. Rare opportunity to post a review with zero complaints!

Aaron Rood

Much like Koa Pancake House. Absolutely amazing food with very quick service. If you like french toast, be sure to try the blueberry and cream cheese stuffed french toast.

Jami Ford

AMAZING!! Everything we've had on the menu is delicious. So good in fact, we've eaten breakfast here 3 days in a row! Everything on the menu is great so you can't go wrong with whatever you order. There is usually a wait but the staff are fast so it's not that long. The staff are friendly and hard working and 3 of the servers remebered us and welcomed us back. Things like that make customers feel appreciated and want to come back. We LOVE Sweet E's and definitely recommend it!!

Luis Felipe Hourani

Great service the food was amazing

Dana Lutton

This place is amazing. The food is fantastic, the service is great, and the price is incredibly low for the quality /quantity

Iva Pesic

Amazing breakfast spot, cozy and bright. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. I came here after a run around the Diamond head and I got an a protein packed keto breakfast. Scrambled eggs with spinach and salmon, side of avocado and berries instead of the starch. And the coffee is just as strong and good as I like it :)

B Murakawa

Kawaii place located on the corner of Kapahulu and Kaimuki Avenue. They open at 7am to 2pm, serving up some delicious breakfast. If you never ever tried a stuff French Toast this is my recommendation to share a order on the side. Inside air conditioning seating along with covered outdoor seating available. Valet parking is available, also street parking in the surrounding area.

Emily Anderson

All the yes to this place. This was our first stop when we got in. Everything was delicious. We brought in a bottle of champagne to make mimosas. The food was delicious. They were more than willing to split plates between us which was nice. Very accommodating and friendly service!

Ricky Rhoten

This place was fantastic. Great staff food came out quickly and it was delicious! Would love to have this place back home.

Bob Rhoads

The service was terrific and the food was yummy!

Gia Johnson

The place is kinda dingy, but I feel like the best places usually are. They had a 20 minute wait, which was fine. We were seated & service was prompt and accurate. They sell their soft drinks in cans. I had the banana stuffed french toast and an order of bacon. I also tried their ham and their blueberry stuffed french toast. I wasn't a fan of the filling of the French toast, personally, but I understand how others could enjoy it. The ham was beyond delicious. It was salty, instead of sweet, which i appreciated. My husband had the kalua pork eggs Benedict with the fried rice, which he enjoyed. I'd definitely come back and try other things on the menu, because it's very reasonably priced, & again, the service is awesome.

Christian Costa

Hawaiian food without the typical Hawaiian prices! Super delicious breakfast/brunch spot just outside Waikiki on kapahulu. The photo doesn't do justice but I was too excited to eat rather than do a photoshoot of what may be my new favorite first-meal-of-the-day restaurant. I did the Hawaiian omelette and fruit waffle. My girlfriend did the Portuguese sausage croissant sandwich and papaya bowl. All of which was shared and destroyed within minutes and all for $36! Service was very fast and tentative. My coffee was never empty (free refills) and my water never ran dry. I would give sweet e's cafe 6 stars out of 5 if I could!

Darren O

Can I just say, boys, boys, boys! Oh, and breakfast is ono-licious too! Get an omelet and be sure to have it with fried rice. Stuffed french toast is a must (banana or blueberry)!

K T

Kinda busy but I went on Memorial Day eity my boys and my sons girlfriend the wait was about 30 minutes not to bad when your talking story it goes by fast. The food was great the waiters are all men no women that I seen . Great service. Will go back again

Blu Phone South Korea

Busy but staff members work efficiently and it didn't take too long until I got a table. The waiter was quick to response and conservative and I was served quickly and he even noticed that I was cold due to the strong AC and turned it down for me without me asking. Nice service and of course the stuffed French toast was fantastic. Parking is not easy.

Judith Wright

I LOVE Sweet E's!! I've been going there for a few years now and it is hands down the best local breakfast place. The service is always great! Every time a friend comes to visit from the mainland, I make sure to bring them here and they are never disappointed!

Sunny Margu

Finally able to make a review, came here with my friend on a trip from Alaska. This place is so amazing. We where so thankful we found this spot. The food was fresh and we felt like locals. Our waiter was so nice seemed family owned, everyone was happy working together always smiling and that alone makes me feel welcome. When I visit again this is top on my list.

Jacqueline Washington

The food was amazing and the staff were all very nice. My sister and I split the Traditional Eggs Benedict and the Blueberry Stuffed French Toast and it was delicious and enough food to share. My dad got the Extreme Mess and my mom got the Banana Stuffed French Toast and they both enjoyed it. We also asked for the coconut sauce for the toast and it was delicious. You do have to bring your own alcohol, however they were super nice and brought out an ice bucket for our champagne that we used to make mimosas

Susan Tam

Friendly clean basic breakfast with all the options. Outdoor/indoor sitting. Family run. Very popular. Limited parking in the small mall.

Jessica Haynes

The location is busy but when you go in, it feels chill and unrushed. I liked going to sit at the lanai because they have nice flowers and vegetation. Some people I know go their for company/work meetings because it is light hearted. Service was nice and breakfast tasted fine. I'd say they can improve on the coffee. A bit weak for me.

Logan Riley

Best brunch I've had in Hawaii! Super friendly servers and great coffee too! Parking is a little rough but totally worth it.

Bert Kimura

Local style, local atmosphere. Informal setting with excellent breakfast menu. Generous serving portions. Enjoyed kalua pig in omelette and eggs Benedict. Delicious, very good wait service. Parking limited. However, on-street parking possible on weekdays. Parking may be challenging on weekends.

Dayle Onishi

Service with a smile, they don't rush you. Food excellent and coffee good. Crispy and moist hash browns. Yum! Valet service nice.

Matt Sealy

Wonderful breakfast food at reasonable prices. A real authentic family diner vibe. This is where the locals go out for breakfast.

Chico

Sweet E is always my top choice! Whether riding solo or with a someone . The level of service is unreal . Feels good that they actually remember their guests. Always will recommend

Kelvin Rodriguez

Very first place we went to have breakfast in. Food was delicious and didnt know what to order. Service was fast and the clean up after each guest is just as fast, getting the table ready for the next guest. It's a little pricey, 4 people, 4 plates, a couple of juices, was about $80. But most definitely worth it and it is Oahu. Everyone, including my 2 kids, left the plate clean. I loved the POG juice. It's a combination of Passion fruit, Orange, and Guava, hence, POG. Really tasteful.

holly corsaut

Awesome food and the staff was great! Definitely will be back

S smith

Great service and excellent food!

Barbara Hart

First time here. Parking is limited so walk or Uber surrounding neighborhood has some parking. Worth the wait. Staff is very local, upbeat and polite. Great prices, fresh ingredients. Good iced coffee. Breakfast on a day off!

Kristof Elst

Amazing local restaurant with great food - came here as a tourist, off the beaten path, and was amazed. Granted, the furniture and the place look a little run down but it adds to the charm of this place - once you meet the super friendly staff and your yummy plate is served, you will forget about all of that. The "mess" plate was really great, the french toast with blueberries simply the way it has to be. The coffee is like what you would expect in such a charming place - maybe best avoided if you're a coffee expert. Overall: if you haven't been here, you haven't been to Honolulu.

Rachel Jackson

LOVED EVERYTHING!!! SERVICE OS AMAZING

Too Whom It May Concern

Very friendly, fast service. A young college vibe spot. Food was great.

K D

Great local place for breakfast or brunch. Very friendly, with delicious food. Highly recommended!

Brian Hughes

Outstanding service, excellent, high quality food and great prices make for a 'must have' breakfast place in town.

Mark Dolan

Hiked the crater and one of the staff at the Monument said the walk to Sweet E's was worth the walk just because of the coffee. The additional two mile walk was WORTH THE EFFORT! Great environment, not hurried but busy and efficient. The spinach, mushroom and feta omelette was perfectly prepared and great coffee kept coming. When on the island fruit and especially berries can be hard to find yet they must have a great source. My wife had the pancakes and smiled all the way through.

Rocio Lopez

First timer in Oahu! Found this awesome place to have breakfast! Prices are reasonable! The food is delicious! The coffee is strong! And the service is okay.

Derrick Psaros

Believe the hype! The stuffed french toast is fantastic. Everything is fresh and the wait staff is friendly, attentive and prompt.

Kevin Foote

Friendly fast service. The breakfast burrito and the banana stuffed French toast were both really good.

Beau Coleman

Food was really good! We enjoyed our breakfast.

Maarten Oosterbaan

Best breakfast I've had in a while. Not expensive and all fresh foods. Fast good service and free coffee refills. Iced and hot.

Yasuo Ogawa

Great service makes up for slightly above average food. Pkg should be comp.

PaulG

Great food! Awesome customer service

Florence Renew

Stumbled across this place and was amazed by the food and great service! Cool place for breakfast

Christine Pillos

Busy parking but lots of room in the restaurant. Food came out quickly and it was good!

Thomas Phillips

Good food! Makes you feel like you went over to grandma's house for breakfast. Parking isn't the best, but it's not bad. We had the Kalua pork Eggs Benedict and loved it!

Ahmed A

We enjoyed our breakfast but not our waiter! Since it's close to tourists area, they shouldn't be too local and consider other cultures when they start a conversation with customers.

Victor Caballero

Excellent breakfast. Good value. Usually packed. Small parking lot come early avoid crowds. Lots of options on food. Breakfast until 2. Lunch after 11am. Friendly staff.

Lauren S

I am so happy we stumbled upon this place for brunch!! Everyone who works here is extremely efficient & friendly. We were seated promptly, drinks brought right away, order taken as soon as our menus were set aside, the food came out hot and quickly, and our check was brought as the table was cleared. Wow. As for the food - amazing!! I was craving stuffed french toast and theirs was delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant

googly bear

The food was good. I had the lox and bagels and that was good. The service was good. The place needs to be cleaned like the furniture and walls. There is patio dining and so the door to the outside is open but there are a few flies flying around the food which was a turn off. There is mandatory valet parking on Saturdays and Sundays but there are metered stalls nearby occasionally. I may go back.

Justin C

Get the Kalua Pork Benedict. You won’t regret. Trust.

Michalina Marek

Very nice breakfast!

Michelle Coelho

Great food! Five people under $100 including tip 20%.

Syd Leung

Classic omelette, eggs benedict, pancake & waffle breakfast dishes. Great coffee!

Shauna Grant

The food was tasty and enjoyable. The staff was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean and provided a covered outdoor eating space. The only downside is limited parking.

frederick mormad

Friendly service, good food.

Brenda Andazolas

All I can say is yummmmy. Best waffle ever. Best friendly courteous service from start to valet. Please do t pass up when in Waikiki

Amanda Lippert

Delicious breakfast for the whole family. Friendly people and good coffee, too. Thanks.

Derek L

Great place! Came here on a Monday morning. Loads of parking and didn’t have to wait. Loved the fried rice option! Will be back!

Daniel Perez

In From Cali , Very friendly, qwk service and food was good

Sara Ball

Food was yummy! Stuffed banana french toast was yummy and so was the scramble (Cannot remember what it was called.) My youngest daughter loves the banana pancakes. Cafe style place, great AC. The valet was very friendly, and so was the other staff.

Kris Edwards

Starts with the valet service ($3) and then just continues with the wait staff and delicious food inside. Come here if you enjoy places like Egghead or Egg N' Things, but want a slightly larger seating area. The menu is just big enough that you have selection, but small enough that the food quality doesn't suffer. 10/10 for breakfast on Oahu.

Lucas Wolfe

Service was very quick and friendly. We sat outside and the volume was low and calm. We had both the kalua pork and corned beef eggs benedict and both were absolutely amazing and highly recommended. Plus make sure to try the blueberry/cream cheese stuffed French toast. You will not be disappointed.

Tyrell Green

Delicious! Parking wasn't too hard to find.

kristin lee

Such a great place! Great food and friendly service! Highly recommend!

Sandy Gottesman

This is my go-to place for breakfast. Their waffles are wonderful, especially with fresh fruit. The fresh fruit really is just that... Fresh! The service is good and we go early to avoid the lines. It is very popular for a reason. Their food is good, their service is good, their servers our friendly. I highly recommended it. I shouldn't, though, because that just means it will get even MORE crowded. Hahaha

Byron Leach

Great food, service was good.

Brent Lawson

Fantastic breakfast joint in downtown Honolulu with good family culture. Great friendly service, fast meal delivery, superb food! Fair prices for the area also

Karim Amos

Fried rice was amazing. I got the pork eggs Benedict...so good. This is a place not to miss on a visit to Honolulu

Mark Dayton

Fantastic breakfast! Huge hot chocolate. The whip cream was as big as the cup. My son loved it. Pancakes and French toast were great. My family loved the French toast with banana and the blueberry and cream cheese. Really friendly service. All at reasonable prices! Thank you.

Traci Von-Sutton

Our go to for breakfast!! Love the atmosphere, the background music, the staff, everyone is there to take care of you, the prices are reasonable and the food is sooooo ONO!! every bite is savory! My fave is the corner beef hash eggs Benedict and blueberry cream cheese stuffed french toast!

Lester Pascual

Never had a chance to eat there. Couldn't find parking

DC Room

Very friendly staff. Excellent food.

rulanda simao

Can someone yell DELICIOUS!!!!! Best food and coffee! The service was hospitable.

Mi Row

Hands down the best french toast I've ever had!! Their spinach feta omelette was also delicious. Service is super friendly and food came out quickly. Definitely would come again.

walter g

Wow really good food. Thought it was, just another hype place ,but boy o’boy ,i was in for a surprise. Try the stuff French toast love it....

복현우

The most complete brunch restaurant. All cooked foods are fresh and delicious. Coffee taste a little tough but unlimited refill. Sweet and harmonious anyway. Crowded. Local. Vitality of the morning. It was raining day.

Darlin Menace

$3 valet added to bill, if you dont self park. U come in & sign a sheet of paper, then wait outside. May bring your own champagne & the restaurant supplies OJ. (Restaurant staff were all men!)

Deborah East

Good food for the price. Two breakfasts for $35. We would go back again. We walked over from our hotel about 1 1/2 miles, so pretty easy to get to from downtown. There was a bit of a wait, but not too bad. I think it took 15-20 mins. The menu selections we standard pancakes, french toast, omelet, Benedict’s. There was Hawaiian twist to the food including things like spam an Portuguese sausage. I had the corned beef hash Benedict and it was really good. My husband had the Hawaiian omelet and like it too. The place is small, but they seem to turn over tables pretty quickly. The service was okay. I did t feel they were particularly friendly.

Kelsea M

I wish I could take this place home with me, the waffles were sooo good and they actually give you FRESH fruit and a good amount. My husband couldn't get over how good his omelette and hashbrowns were. The decor is super cute, the staff was nice, service was quick, couldn't be happier

Dvs Mic

Great service unbelievable food. Valet, it's worth it

Steven Lim

Valley parking but free if you validate. Food was great and very satisfying breakfast place. Waiters were very helpful!

Rose Kaililaau

Breakfast was just awesome , had the French toast with blueberries & cream cheese , we're from Maui and I'll be dreaming of this awesome French toast. We're be back

Jaz Matharu

Don't let the outside corner building fool you. Very comfortable seating indoor and outdoor. We sat inside and temp was comfortable. I ordered a Hawaiian omelette, was tasty and was married to spam, Portuguese sausage, with scallions and cheese - simple yet tasty. My daughter ordered a blueberry and cream cheese stuffed French toast, she says "it's the best French toast she ever had. " My lovely wife who has no breakfast imagination today had scrambled eggs, a fluffy pancake and the Kahlua pork - she loved it. Portions are appropriate for the health conscious. My son was happy with sticky rice and bacon. Yes. Would come again. Friendly staff.

George Chan

We choose to have breakfast here is because of the high rating it earned. The food and service is above standard and they pay-off the time we had spent on waiting for a table. We'd like to thank all who had made their contributions in giving us the confidence to spend our time with this amazing cafe.

Chris Holguin

Highly recommend this place for people visiting. Great food, fast service, and great prices make this really hard to beat. It's only about a 6 min drive from the main strip near Waikiki beach, and totally worth it for how good the food is and how much cheaper compared to anything near the beach. Try the stuffed french toast!!

Randall Caravallo

Great place for breakfast. The employees are great too!

Eric Yew

Great comfort food. Satisfying portions. Parking is tough to find when this location is busy. Just chill and relax when you get there.

Justin Smith

Great food! But flies that aren't dealt with along with a much needed paint job inside and upholstery that needs redone keeps this place from being higher. Love the food but starting to neglect the upkeep.

Alex J

The blueberry cream cheese is the best french toast I’ve ever had

Brittany Gockley

The Kalua Eggs Benedict is one of the best dishes I've EVER had. Staff was so welcoming and helpful, and everyone was happy to be there. Strongly recommend eating here - we will be back again before leaving the island!

Tracy Vandegrift

So quaint. The corned beef eggs Benedict was AHmazing

Brian East

This place was recommended to us by a former native and I am glad we heeded the advice. It's away from the main streets of Waikiki and it's reflected in the lower prices of the meals. They have great Eggs Bennie and the omelettes we're good too. The walls are covered with family pictures and it's clear the place is family run. It's worth a trip away from the beach to eat here, but it's not a secret and expect a wait.

Sean Weiss

Good Lord is all I can say. The Eggs Benedict with corndbeef hash was beyond amazing. Best breakfast hands down in Waikiki. The staff is simply outstanding, coffee (really good) and water kept full the entire meal, personable and on-top-of their game!!! A bit of a wait but so worth it!!! Can't wait to eat here again.

Jav Ogao

Food came fast and hot, Was just as amazing as the service. Would eat there again.

Felicia M.

Been to Waikiki several times but this was my first time here but won’t be the last. Food here is better than Eggs n Things and any other place i’ve eaten at before. Parking is limited but they do have a small lot and there is parking on street and in the neighborhood. Thus the reason for the 4 instead of 5 stars. Would highly recommend this place.

Amit Kakde

Good place for a quick bite for brunch. There's a small parking lot on site. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Clinton Brown

They have AMAZING FOOD!!!

AJE TOLULOPE

A long line always but the food is delicious , try the French toast stuffed with mashed bananas, bacon and eggs and buttermilk pancakes

Anne

Everything was super tasty and fresh. Service was quick and friendly. Loved the French toast!

Chanda Hanson

We ate here at 8:15am on a Monday morning and there was no wait! We were promptly seated. The food was delicious! My husband had the eggs Benedict and a banana pancake and said both were really good! My breakfast burrito was HUGE and delicious! Will come here again next time we are on Oahu!

Aka Rivers

This is one of my faves I love the family feel I love the family photos on the wall but I was a little disappointed last time I went in they need a Deep cleaning or a paint job or something. But regardless the food is awesome every time I go I love their food especially the build your own omelet the always get it perfect and I love their real hash Browns yummy and their staff very friendly very professional very fast even though there is limited parking it's worth the wait

Adam Busby

What I liked: Friendly staff, quick service, and nice environment. What can be fixed to get that five stars: The coffee was had a little of a burned taste and the cups were a little small. Not bad, just could have been better. Also, the eggs were just eggs, no toppings, no butter, no nothing. Lastly, who serves a pancake without butter? I would have taken butter over a half of strawberry. Overall, I enjoyed the food, but there is room for improvement. I would eat here again, but I expected a little better based on the reviews from google.

Tara Anderson

Excellent! Food was great! Service was great! We got right in and out! I would definitely go back.

Angie Hoang

I’m gonna be very honest. The food was great but the customer service was horrible for me. It depends which worker serves you. I happened to get a rude server. He was acting like he was in a very big rush and kept looking somewhere else and not paying attention to my order. I had to repeat my order and not only that I accidentally spilled some water on myself and asked for napkins to clean it. The server threw a used yellow small towel at me that he probably used for the valet parking outside... I’ve never felt so disrespected in my life before, I’m actually so frustrated. When my food came he just drop/slid my food on the table fast and walked away without asking if I needed anything else. I’m guessing this server only respected the pretty women in the restaurant. The other customers around me had better seating places and were pretty and he treated them sooo differently compared to me. I’m truly mad especially since I’m a tourist.

Siu Lino

This is def a must stop. Our favorite breakfast place we’ve ate at so far in a Hawai’i! The stuffed Blueberry French toast is the bomb! Great service!

Don Frazier

Good food.

Arlene

Great homemade corn beef hash and they will substitute the carbs with fresh fruit. Will go again.

Ryan Joy

Excellent place to go for breakfast. Typically pretty busy but well worth the wait. Food was delicious. I would definitely come back here again.

Noah Martin

Get the blueberry & cream cheese French toast. You won't regret it.

Alex T

So tasty and great service!

Adam Lott

Sweet E’s is a restaurant that serves the locals what they’ve always loved and the tourists what they’ve been missing. How do I rate a restaurant? There are two must-haves at every great eating establishment: The right food, and the right service. You get these two right and everything else is up for preference. And Sweet E’s, they get them right. The food is fantastic. Big portions and full of flavor. My favorites are the French Toast and the Breakfast Burrito. You can’t beat the Hawaiian sweet bread that melts in your mouth in a pool of cinnamon and maple syrup. But if you want something with a little more punch, you can’t beat the flavor packed into the hefty breakfast burrito. The service is also up to par; fast and friendly are all you can ask for and they definitely deliver. So why 4 stars and not 5? Well that’s where preference lives. Personally I don’t get hung up on less than impressive decor furniture or even cleanliness. But I realize some do. Sure, the chairs look old and the floor wasn’t swept every time something fell from a table. Honestly though that speaks to greatness of this local establishment. They are much too busy with customers lining up outside that they don’t have time to pay attention to every crumb. So good on them.

Roman Kireev

Awesome breakfast! Great stuff, fast service and friendly atmosphere. A mat visit place if you in Honolulu.

Rebecca Bartholomew

Amazing service. Amazing food and coffee. Would definitely come back again when in the area.

Tolulope Aje

There’s usually a line here , but the food makes it worth the wait . The Hawaiian French toast traditional or banana stuffed is really good .

Rag Sam K

Simply a must eat breakfast place in Honolulu. The omelettes are way too delicious and the hashbrown is thin and crispy, the wheat toast is one of the best toasts I’ve had in a really long time. They have valet parking also, but if you find parking on the street you can park there which is free. Overall, I’d recommend anyone going to Honolulu to have breakfast/brunch at this place atleast once.

Sharlene Wong

Yummy place for breakfast. The breakfast wrap was delicious. We also tried the blueberry and cream cheese stuffed french toast and kahlua pig benedict. All were wonderful. They took our order as we waited for a table so when we were seated we didn't wait long to get served. Nice friendly atmosphere.

Almas Ghulam Qadir

It was the most delicious breakfast I've eaten in Hawaii.

Jin Park

Try Stuffed French Toast (Blue berry & cream cheese) and Waffle with fruits (additional $2)

Kara Yamanaka

Great service and food!

Michael Zepeda

Great food and loved the sweets section and selection of breads and bakery. The service was excellent and fast

After reading about how busy this place gets, I decided to come later in the day. I was not disappointed. Easy street parking on a Sunday afternoon, not an issue walking straight in and getting a table. The menu is simple but everything looks great. The breakfast burrito was amazing and super reasonably priced. I will definitely be visiting again whilst I'm here.

It appears to be such a cute place considering all the photos people have taken here... don’t be fooled folks the menus have coffee stains on them, and the PACKETS of sugar look like they’ve been through a rough time too... and explain to me why ONE waffle, (no extra pizzazz or anything) tastes like something you could’ve whipped up at home (don’t know why I didn’t...) Also tried the burrito, ended up being unseasoned. Expected better from a place in hawaii, ain’t like it’s idaho so I expected a bit of seasoning.

Great little place, good customer service - just a great breakfast place! Recommended.
