This Restaurant corresponds to the category of Steak house.
It was wonderful place to having dinner. Especially you should not miss the happy hours.
The food was amazing! The only thing I'd skip is the mac and cheese it was just ok. I've had it at different steak houses and felt this one was not as cheesy. The place is located in an outdoor mall with plenty of shopping option in and across the street. They validate parking if you park in the parking structure. Just would think the soft drinks would have refills and having a toddler was looking for plastic ware that was not available.
I had an excellent experience. Particularly knowledgeable bartenders with great personalities they worked well together to make sure ALL guests were attended to. Chris came out and said hello to my friends and I. Very welcoming, atmosphere was top notch. I will be back for sure. Happy Hour was a hit
If you are looking for top notch you found it. We have eaten at so many places in the last few days ! Nothing compares to this! Amazingggg! And the staff! Wow! They really go above and beyond!
What a great meal, service and dining room and bar for our little date night out. Bravo.
The best steak! The best chef! You've never tasted a real steak till you've dined at Stripsteak in Waikiki International Market Place. Onolicious!
We have just experienced the most unusual and terrible meal we have ever had . This restaurant came under fine dinning. Our dinner started with fries and tomato sauce gift from the chef....really is that what the chef could come up with! There is so much to say but this restaurant is not in any way in the league of fine dinning... all I can say is your food was cooked and over cooked ...Mac and cheese as a side really ?? no skills in this restaurant but one lovely waitress that fully understood !
Bar staff was mediocre. The barback Sean was much more suitable for a bartender. Steak was basic. I ordered the Filet Mignon med-rare. The dish was lacking presentation. I also ordered the Baked Potato plain with butter only. I might add if you want butter for your baked potato it will be an additional $5. Compliments of the chef furikake fries (far left) with tonkatsu sauce. Garlic & herbs fries(middle) with ketchup, and black truffle fries with Aioli (far right). Manager Justin asked about my visit which was appreciated.
The steak was just okay. It doesn’t worth the price. The service was friendly but a bit slow.
Excellent food.
Great steak..had the flat iron for dinner. Very tender. Salads were good, too. Staff helpful and friendly. Seemed worth the $100 bill...after all this is Honolulu.
Really horrible dining experience. The service was disengaged and the food was uninspired. Clearly trying to punch above it’s weight but certainly missed the mark. For the price you pay, suggest you go elsewhere. The place is a tourist trap!
We had Thanksgiving reservations at The Moana Surfrider which were canceled without our knowledge. We decided to find somewhere nearby to have dinner. We walked into Stripsteak and were immediately seated. My husband and I both ordered the Thanksgiving menu with our favorite bottle of wine. The meal was sensational, and the service impeccable. Justin, the manager, stopped at our table and we shared our earlier restaurant mishap. He gave us his card and thanked us for dining with them. My husband and I decided to book our Christmas meal with Stripsteak. Looking forward to another fabulous meal!
If you like sushi this place is awesome. I wouldnt order fish here. It was raw inside - done outside.sort of cheese they use for mac&cheese for kids most kids won't like. Atmosphere they have is really nice and romantic. But need to catch up on quality of food
Great service and food.
I do not even know how to start, this is my favorite restaurant in Honolulu. it does not matter what you choose to eat here, everything is delicious, meat, fish, desserts, but especially sushi, certainly here I eaten the best sushi in my life. the staff is very friendly, attentive to every detail. surely this is the best restaurant in Honolulu and I will definitely come back here every time I get the chance.
Food was amazing and totally worth the price!
Great steak
Terrible service and poor management, that were unable to communicate effectively. There was limited steak available for a steak restaurant.
Great place @International Marketplace....Mahalo Kyle!!!
I came here today for happy hour. Server at the bar was very attentive. I had the Gala Brand on special and it was very fruity, very easy to drink! For main, I got the burger and fries. The burger was prepared medium and suited me perfectly. It was juicy and full of flavour. The bacon and mushroom in the burger really complimented the burger. Duck fat fries were very crispy! I would order this again.
always amazing service, creative cocktails (even non-alcoholic!) and delish food!
Pricey, but I knew that before going in I had the best steak in the House Rare, this is by far the best Seak I will ever have! You are treated with impeccable Service and Quality info on menu and food items as you choose. Go ALL THE WAY! For a one time experience, chew your food slowly every bite gets better
The food is absolutely amazing! A very great selection in menu and everything is tasty. They even made me the cocktail Aperol Spritz what wasn’t in the menu. A very high class of service as well. I will definitely come back. I also like that this place is new and modern. Don’t miss it during your stay in Waikiki.
Extremely disappointed. Food was just so so, something you would expect from $ restaurant not from $$$ one. We ordered chef choice for the night and recombination was ridiculous, food was very plain.
Great drinks
Delicious whole red snapper served the whole table.
Amazing service, funky-cool ambiance, delicious food
Great experience
It's a great place bit over priced but nothing slap in the face ridiculous
Tried Strip Steak for the first time. After a rocky start I made reservations well in advance and was seated right near the bar at a small table in the main trackway. Mentioned this dissatisfaction to the hostess and she found us another table. The service is good the prices are out there for what you get. The instant bacon was very good but not sure about the price. Shared a wedge salad which was a little dry but tasty with what dressing was there. Ordered the porterhouse for 2 it was tender and tasty but not worth the price they charge. Baked potato I am still trying to figure out not that enjoyable. I like a good beer with my steak all they carry are cans of beer at a restaurant supposedly of this prestige. My friend don’t drink so had soda and was charged for each soda when refills are usually free. Ok so I tried it but sorry a lot of other places I would rather go. Don’t mind paying more when it is all good but it was just mediocre here. Probably my last visit.
Great place to take your wife on special occasions
This restaurant is a little difficult to find, being on the third floor of the building. Also note that the restaurant is very open and most seating is outdoors. We were seating next to a family with several children that were allowed to run obnoxiously through the restaurant. This is more bad parenting and not considered in the overall review, but I would have expected the manager to have said something to them. Service was good but I could never figure out who our server was. About three severs were constantly coming to our table. Our drink order was entered incorrectly and it took them quite some time to correct it. Again I had to notify two different servers. The biggest disappointment was the food. We ordered two dry aged KC strips, one medium rare the other well done. Neither steak was prepared correctly. The medium rare was over cooked to medium well state (some pink) and the well done was undercooked (still containing pink). I sent my steak back to be recooked which took about 10 minutes. This allowed the sides we had ordered to become cold. The steak the returned with was cooked to a rare state and was extremely tough. While I would probably disregard this at some restaurants, this restaurant charges $76, so I feel at this price point you should get a steak that is properly prepared. I was also surprised they did not offer to comp some of the price for their mistakes, though I did not ask and I paid the bill in full (and tipped because the waiters should not be punished for a bad chef). Overall I believe this restaurant is overpriced for quality of food and service could be improved.
Our server Jaime was incredible. We had a great experience that will be hard to beat by any restaurant. A little expensive, but worth every penny for an important date night.
Food was tastey but staff was pretentious
I've been to Stripsteak a couple of times and the service is phenomenal. I like the instant bacon and their meat courses.
Excellent food, excellent service. Will definitely repeat.
A must go to place from happy hour and dinner. Their bartenders are talented! They made us a few custom made drinks because we couldn't decide on the drinks on their menu. It was great! Their food was awesome! We had an attentive waiter and the staff made us feel welcomed.
The food was good but definitely not worth $200 for 2 steak dinners. And service wasn’t great.
Went to Wakkiki Sky yesterday loved it . Thought I try something new at strip steak, what a joke I actually had to come next door to Cheesecake factory to have a actuall meal. Stay away let's just say I can do better and I'm no chef.
Came for a Yelp event and must go back again for: 1. Le Chiffre - this pretty new cocktail is a terrific addition to their spring menu. With shochu, lavender and dolin blanc. 2. Instant bacon - the best pork belly ever. And I know my pork belly. 3. Strawberry Bubble Bath - not on the dessert menu but ask for it. It’s a pairing is raspberry sorbet and a French sparkling rose, Bugey-Cerdon. Parking is easy in the International Market Place garage - if you go up to the 5th level you should be on the same level as the Grand Lanai, where Stripsteak and other restaurants are located.
Great ambiance, fresh, sweet oysters, MW desserts!
Pricy. But they say you get what you pay for. Expect only the best of the best dishes.
We dined here three nights in a row on our holiday in Waikiki and loved it every time. Beautiful food, great staff and child friendly. Would highly recommend.
Service, food, atomosphere all fantastic. The entire evening was magical and forever memorable. Thank you again!
Food was great but very pricey for what it is.
Excellent service. Had scallops and green beans in this delicious soy glaze. Shared a ceasar salad and spicy tuna role. Live in L.A. look forward to dining at Bourbon Steak.
Fantastic food, the filet was the best I've had in a very long time. The service was superior
Try their happy hour....
Good food! Great service!
Everything was perfect and I gave it a 4 star because of the huge disappointment with the parking situation. We had a special dinner w/ 3 other friends and ran up a nearly $900 tab. Appetizers were great. Drinks were great. Service was fantastic. Steaks were perfectly cooked and cut. Dessert was fabulous. So we get the nearly $900 bill and gladly pay it. Then we give our parking tickets (we're locals) for validation. They come back with a stamp for a 1 hour validation. We were there for nearly 3 hours. To me, it left me with a bad taste and I'll probably never go there again. To pay nearly $900 for a meal and then get nickeled-and-dimed for parking is so absurd it's not even funny. So I complained to the manager and to his credit, he did give us full validation. But then he ruined it by telling us that he would "do it this time" but we should know in the future that they only validate the 1st hour. So I made him aware of how utterly ridiculous it sounds to spend so much money on a meal and have to pay again for parking. He didn't know how to respond. In my view, this place doesn't really care about locals and I understand they don't have to. The place was packed 80% Asian visitors who either walked or cabbed it there. Which to my eyes is even a BIGGER reason why they should validate local folks full parking. But since they don't need my money, I'll give it to local restaurants that, while may not be so fancy, have way more class. Great place, but next time I'll go to a restaurant that gladly pays for me to park there and drop nearly a grand for a meal.
We stumbled across STRIPSTEAK as we were looking for a lunch spot while shopping and so glad we did! Such a wonderful, welcoming staff and such a great menu. We intended to start with a cocktail and appetizers, which we did, but the appetizers were so delicious we ordered a second round instead of an entree. The Truffle Mac and Cheese and the Instant Bacon were amazing!! Travis, our waiter mentioned we should try to come back for dinner and try the butter poached steak. We only had 1 more night on our trip so we decided to go back and get dinner. The hostess, Lexi (I think) told us that they were completely committed for the evening and that without a reservation we could not get in. After we mentioned being there for lunch and it being our last night she worked her magic and squeezed us in. We were not disappointed as the meal was even more enjoyable than lunch had been. Can't wait for our next trip back and we were certainly be making a stop at STRIPSTEAK! In the meantime we will be visiting their other restaurants in Vegas and San Francisco when we visit those cities. Thanks for the great meal and the amazing hospitality!!
Good steak. Nice location.
Pricey, but very tasty food.
Do your selfs a favor and save your money. This place is by far miles away from being a FINE DINING RESTAURANT. had a 220 Dollar meal felt like i could've made that food myself or picked it up at Albertsons for 15 dollars. WAY to overpriced for the quality and portions. Honestly this place was a joke I could've had a better meal at Jack In Box for 8 Dollars then this place . Save your money go to Sky Waikiki I was really impressed there well worth your money you dont feel like you've been ripped off and the dining experience was excellent well worth the money.
One of the best mall to relax !!! Yeah because of banyan trees and open setup , you can Actually relax in between , am from NYC.. you can’t find mall like nyc if you looking for shopping but this is something else .. you can actually relax and still you have all top brand names located in walking distance.
Excellent service! The aged Tomahawk was probably one of the best I've ever had.
The best 4 course meal ever!
Reservations made prior to visit, we were promptly seated (inside part of restaurant). This was a very busy place for Xmas eve. The service was great, the ambience was on point; but, the steak did not live up to the expectations. I ordered the New York strip, and while it was cooked correctly, I've had much better steaks for a fraction of the cost. The duck potato that comes with the steak was super tasty. The squash soup was so so as well. Impressed with the service, disappointed with the food.
Succulent steak with great service - you won't regret coming here
Amazing staff. Great location. Ok food.
Great food, service, and reasonavle prices!
Wines are over priced compared to other similar restaurant in Hawaii. Service not really good
Excellent food, great location!
The best drinks on Oahu, the best barmen’s, just tell them what do you like and they will make perfect drink for you!!!!!! Really, believe me!!!)
One of our vendors was in town and took us out to dinner (a party of 9). I hadn't been here in a while and the prices have gone up quite a bit. We had the pork belly appetizers then most of us ordered steak...the Delmonico ribeye, a 35-day dry aged ribeye, and two of us shared a 35-day dry aged Porterhouse. We added truffle mac and cheese, sauteed mushrooms and spinach and kale as sides. Add four bottles of Oregon pinot noir, 3 $27 glasses of a Napa cabernet, a bunch of mixed drinks and scotches and you end up with a seven figure tab. The food and drink were excellent but the service was not up to snuff. That is the primary reason for the rating... I expect superlative service when the host is spending about $2k for the meal. The other reason is that our $185 porterhouse was slightly overcooked, or, we took too long to consume it...the medium rare pieces were what you expect from dry aged beef; the nuttiness of dry aged beef was absent in the potions of the steak that were medium. Bottom line... guarded recommendation... meat perfectly cooked and a superlative waitstaff...that merits five stars.
Everything is ridiculously good
Excellent. $$$ for family of 3 but i used my per diem so no holds barred. Excellent sushi, waitstaff, cold drinks, atmosphere. Great mac n cheese for the little one and lobster tacos were on point.
We made a reservation at the restaurant to celebrate our honeymoon. The reservation process is easy and there were a bunch of same day times left at 3:00 pm for dinner. The decor is amazing and the bar is absolutely gorgeous. The wait staff was extremely courteous. As we were there with only two people, they originally sandwiched us between two other two tops, which immediately put me in a sour mood. I let the waiter know and they were happy to accommodate our request to switch tables. The drinks were spectacular and the presentation was next to none. The food was amazing and I would highly recommend the King Crab and the black truffle aioli. While we did not order it, the table next to us ordered the pineapple foster, it was an amazing experience to watch that prepared at the table and the couple could not help exclaiming how delicious it was.
The food here was amazing just like all Michael Mina restaurants. Open air though so a little warm.
Great service and even better food
We had lunch here. The service and food were good. We thought about having some wine but the prices were 3 times what other restaurants here charge. $115 for a $15 bottle of wine? Insane.
mom gr8
Last night in Hawaii, my friend and I decided to splurge. Stripsteak has excellent food and service, but be prepared to pay for it. Prices are comparable to The Eating House next door, but I prefer the food here. I had the Jidori Chicken entree with sides of green beans and classic mashed potatoes. All of my meal was absolutely delicious! Portions were huge - thankfully, since my friend preferred my choices. He had steak tartare, caesar salad and marlin sushi. The trio of french fries were a treat from the chef while our food was prepared. Food is priced a la carte, but it truly is worth every penny! Live music on a Thursday night was a pleasant surprise.
Celebrated husband's and oldest granddaughter's birthdays. Adults had the special while kids enjoyed mac and cheese while enjoying pieces of steak from our plates. Excellent service!
Delicious and great service. Not judt traditional steak menu. We had the dinner set menu and every course was creative and well balanced.
Food was excellent. The wine menu was a bit pricey but this is definitely a great place to dine for a night out on the town or a first date
Over priced and not the quality you would expect for the price.
Great meal and terrific service. The sommelier was fabulous.
Food was good but below average for the area. We ate at at least 10 restaurants (theres five in this immediate area) ...ALL were better. The happy hour in this area is amazing for food and drink. Long story short...pick a different place
Food was excellent 50 bucks for 2 course a 2 drinks happy hr
The drinks were strong, service was superb and they offered a complimentary appetizer from the kitchen which was a nice surprise. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who is visiting.
Stripsteak is the worst restaurant in International Marketplace. First of all, the portion sizes are extremely small. If you order salmon or steak, they just give you the hunk of meat by itself and sides are added costs. It is impossible to get a fulfilling meal without adding sides and piling the cost upwards of one to two hundred dollars per person. Secondly, the service is slow and the employees don’t seem to care. They aren’t rude or mean, but they don’t go above and beyond. The food took almost fifty minutes to prepare. Thirdly, the food is mediocre. I ordered the angus steak. It cost $58 and was so small that I ate it in five minutes. How’s that to wait fifty minutes something so small? Additionally, I requested the steak to be well-done, but it came rare. I asked for them to fix it, but they said they would make another one and bill me for two steaks. I don’t understand why it took fifty minutes to cook a small steak rare when I’ve been to restaurants that have cooked 16oz steak in half the time. Lastly, the price is unreasonable. Their small hunks of meat cost as much a meal for four at Flour and Barley pizza shop across the hall. I understand that it’s okay to charge more for better service and better food, but Strip Steak charges more for the same service and less food. This restaurant is wicked. Their only goal is to make money; they do not have your experience in mind at all. Stripsteak is a regular restaurant pretending to be a five-star elite dining spot. There are so many other restaurants in the mall and in the area which outdo Stripsteak in most aspects. Don’t take your business Stripsteak.
Good food and service
Great food and service in beautiful setting. Best wine list in Honolulu
Great steak and seafood!
Ribeye is Ok..service exceptional
Awesome food but a bit pricey
Small cozy. Ok food n drinks.
Nice outside dinning
What a disappointing meal for $300. The food was lackluster and the service was disorganized, disinterested, and disengaged. For example, they brought us an appetizer course as we were finishing our entrees. No one asked if we wanted a second round for our drinks. The medium and medium-well steaks were switched, but to be honest we couldn't tell since they both were overcooked. We witnessed throughout the meal that other tables too had food given to the wrong person. The dessert tasted like a thawed piece of cake. The best food item was the side of charred broccoli. Food was placed on the table, the waitstaff reciting lines, and walking away. No eye contact, no personality. Just made for an unpleasant experience.
the food is very good and the service is excellent!
Awesome, delicious food/desert and amazing customer service!!!
Very unfriendly, unprofessional and unorganized services. Food was good though, but will never come back again this place. Brought us a one long check with calculator and we had to split and calculate by ourselves.
Sat at the bar with some friends and the service was amazing. Friendly and engaging. We ain't eat anything but the drinks were hitting.
Great service. Complimentary trio fries and get free shishito pepper. The rib eye was good too, Highly recommended ,
The green beans we're heavenly. Scallops and wedge salad we're very good. We sat at the bar the bartenders were friendly and attentive. Tiramisu was only so-so and tiny. I love the decor and ambience. Prices were very high. I would dine there again.
Service was great, atmosphere was relaxed and family friendly. I'd give a 5star but the food was not what we paid. I'd come back though.
Food 8/10. Experience 5/10. Way too noisy. Be prepared to shout any conversations. Parking structure available parking display shows incorrect status. For dinner on a weekend you'll likely have to valley or park elsewhere. Truffle sides all taste the same.
Great food, service and ambiance! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Came here for my last dinner in Hawaii, based mainly on reputation more than reviews. I can't deny the quality of the meal was good, but somehow I felt underwhelmed, especially considering the very high price (close to USD 100 for a filet mignon, one side, and a beer). The steak was very tender and cooked as I ordered, but I felt the seasoning was not particularly special, overall it didn't feel like a $60+ steak. I felt slightly pressured by the server to order a more expensive alcoholic accompaniment to my meal, I was asked several times more than I felt was necessary. Quite enjoyed the fries with the different sauces, it was a nice appetizer that I did not expect or read about before coming here. Service was definitely above par, as I would expect for such an establishment, I felt like I did receive individualized attention. I liked the scented towel I was presented to freshen up before the meal. As others have indicated, it was quite loud, especially since I was located near a large party that were having more than their fair share of drinks (they ended up drawing on someone's face). Felt it was a little inappropriate for what I would consider to be a fine dining restaurant. Worth it for the upscale environment and service, but was a left wanting a bit more with the steak. Definitely be prepared to drop some serious cash here.
Everything was superb. From the moment the host greeted us to our last sip of our french pressed coffee. Excellent service and the food ....amazing. My Filet Mignon was so soft and perfectly cooked and the mushrooms, green beans & garlic mash were perfect accompaniments.
Great custom drinks, incredible food, awesome service
The Filet was amazing and the service was outstanding. Great location
Food was very good. Restrooms were a mess
As other customers say, cooking is delicious. However, due to the sales clerks who have a low level of customer service, overall evaluation is low. Even when I went, a tall white clerk had a very low level and unpleasant feelings. I will not repeat for a while.
Dry aged Tomahawk Steak is awesome
Absolutely enjoyed the experience. Wait staff knew the menu very well, great recommendations. They worked with us to find the perfect drink from the bar. Overall, how I like to be treated when going to $$$$+ restaurant. Enjoyed the appetizers, Cesar salad was spot on, and the steak entree was cooked to my liking. Definitely would recommend to friends and guests. Plenty of validated parking in the international market place parking structure.
Food was pretty good, but the aervice was pretty awful. Save your money, go the the eating house next door.
excellent food and service well priced
Service was a little slow but the food was fantastic!
This is the place to go to for the best Steak make sure you order the Tomahawk Steak and the Seafood
This place is over the top! I felt like royalty. Everything on the menu is amazing and you definitely get what you pay for. Excited for my next visit!
Great steak and apps. Cocktail menu also superb. Small hiccup working through a food allergy but they made it right.
Expensive dining experience I had while in Waikiki, but totally worth it. I went here for an intimate birthday dinner. The staff were so lovely. You also get birthday ice cream on the house! Will definitely return in the future.
Wow, simply wow. Every item was delish.
Good food! Pricey, but worth it every now and then!
The service here is en pointe. Not overbearing but always anticipating what will make a truly wonderful dining experience. The wine list is extensive and the staff can make truly great recommendation.s. The filet was perfectly done to my order and very delicious. Others at our table had the rib eye which I will have to order next time. Green bean and broccoli sides were cooked just right - not over or under done but just right. They were seasoned creatively with a yummy tilt towards an asian fusion ok n that went well with the steak. Save some room for the extra smooth blueberry Marscapone cheesecake and the banana foster sundae. Yum!
I really loved the taste of all of it.
Place states its fine dining. Let me put it to you this way I can have a better meal at McDonald's for way far less and better service. Save your money and time.
Food was ok, service NOT so much! Took FOREVER to get a drink or bill and our server didn’t bring anything, other people did. And not to mention the price. 2 drinks and 2 strip steaks were $200!!
We arrived late but were greeted by a friendly host who promptly helped us and got us “tiny bubbles” as a courtesy. The waitress was very friendly and polite. We shared small plates and everything was delicious. Drink on picture was SS Blu. Pacific Side was excellent too.
The memory of the place still haunts me. It's become my example of overpriced Hawaii with poor service to add to. We had a post Wedding dinner on Christmas day with a group of mainly Japanese. As with everything in Waikiki, there should be some catering towards the Japanese market. Most places seemed at least sensitive to requirements such as Japanese menus. But it's Japanese promptness that many overlook. We booked two weeks in advance (and with anticipation), arrived prior to our booking yet it took almost an hour and much prompting to finally be seated. Once seated, the cue for the fact we were mainly a group of Japanese (myself excluded) wasn't picked up by any staff, so there wasn't an offer of Japanese menus. But when menus were finally brought, the waiter assumed we had read the English menus and prompted all members of the party. "Give up a moment" didn't register and the waiter kept on being impatient coming back to me alone (assuming that I was going to speak for group as one of two English speakers). I was hurried to get menu orders in by a waiter who really needed to calm down. The menu was quite confusing, which was a lot of our issue however when it came time to order the steak of choice (we all ended up ordering the same one to make life easy - it was a group of 10), we asked what the chef would recommend in terms of cooking. A blunt "medium" was stated, which I know wasn't correct. But the waiter was sure. I ordered "medium rare" in protest, whilst everyone else ordered "medium". The waiter kept prompting me to order sides. At the prices I was seeing, I think the steak was hurting enough. I got to a point where I was tired of the waiter hounding me. "Would you like sides?", "Are you sure you don't want sides?" When it did arrive, it fell a long way short of the expectations of a table of Japanese/Australians - I unfortunately get a better steak at my local pub in Sydney for 1/10th the price. The choice of medium for the table ruined it even further. For the rest of the order, we had an entree (starter) that was a pot pie (no, actually it was much with a piece of pastry stuck in a bowl) and a small tart that was such a small slice I thought it half a slice. Stingy. The total per guest was not stingy though. For a very underwhelming meal it was $200 each with an enforced tip. Disgusting. I spoke with the manager and gave my feedback. I still gave a tip (because of customs - that's all), but not the enforced 22% they were going to rob from us. A restaurant of this level should be forgotten as average, or remembered for excellence. I won't forget this place unfortunately for being well below mediocre.
Have been to Stripsteak many times; each visit exceeds expectations. Food is phenomenal: steaks top notch, very good sushi, the best sides in Waikiki and some of the best bartenders on Oahu. Highlights include the ribeye, mushrooms and pineapple fosters.
Amazing service and even better food! LOVE LOVE LOVE!
Supposedly well known as the Michael Mina restaurant, a michelin star restaurant without the level of quality or service one would expect from such a highly touted restaurant. Service is very slow, even though you notice plenty of staff. They are more often than not just standing around. It took us over 20 minutes just to get waters. Other than that, the free fries are nice, various flavors with complimenting dipping sauces. The instant bacon is very tender, although four small bites for $22 leaves you scratching your head. Food came out cold, I didn't realize it was normal for a $70 steak to come out cold. A common theme throughout the night was, it's okay food, but why is it priced so high? For a restaurant that is well known, the price, the service, and the taste don't live up to the hype.
Not cheap, but worth it.
Beautiful venue. Great ambiance. Excellent service. Delicious food. Perfect live music.
Upscale steak restaurant in a pleasant setting. Staff were pleasant and quick to respond. This is a very pricey venture and everything is la carte. My steak was quality and perfectly cooked to order. The baked potato was nothing special for the price. Wines have a nice quality and the cocktails are made with expertise. Bring the Benjamins you will need them.
Didn't know that Mina fella before but that restaurant sure deserves to wear that label. Extremely great food from starter to dessert. Don't forget the side dishes, I have eaten the best green beans of my life and the spicy rice was wonderful too. My best food experience in Waikiki (spent 6 days there)
Great atmosphere and food was great.
Ate here twice both times were a Delicious eating experience. Service is excellent. Very knowledgeable staff. Large portions good for family style eating.
Steak good potato was Awesome *5 food service*3
This is one of my favorite steak houses in Waikiki and is just as good as Hy’s or Ruths Chris. The ambiance is more modern and doesn’t feel like an old boys club which I like. The service is super professional and attentive as you’d expect at a swanky place. Parking in Waikiki is usually a nightmare but Strip Steak is located in The Street section of the International Market Place so if you validate your parking it’s FREE!
We LOVE this place and I would highly recommend this to my family and friends. From beginning to the end experience! From all the staff, service, food and location! From our appetizers to our dessert. We had the warm chocolate lava cake with a scoop of vanilla bean, and it was just HEAVEN. ..everything and everyone is just amazing! Thank you for our wonderful experience... see you on our next date!
This restaurant is amazing. Food, service and atmosphere a 5++ star rating. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend anyone to go.
Food was amazing! Service was great! Def coming back
Very good food ! Exceptional for Waikiki area. Mid priced, fresh food, served by friendly waitresses and waiters. Awesome ambiance, close to the beach area!
