service was great, quantity was good but for the price I think still high. otherwise I would give it 4 stars. Only because its Fast food that can sell for over $10 for a person. should in my opinion have more food. Considering the class of food.(meaning fast food) Don't get me wrong it's still a recommended place to me. Rewritten because word to text was wrong and some wrote me and for that I give praise and added the forth star. To me that says they care about there food and restaurants.

Parking is a bit tough. Potholes everywhere and its a problem for me because i have a lowered car. Went to the drive thru. Service was quick. Of course its popeyes chicken so its always the same flavors.

Closest Popeye's for me. They're pretty fast with their service. We also hit their drive thru, because it's convenient. Service is normally friendly, and awesome. BUT, one time they did give me a gallon of UNSWEETENED ice tea *BARF*. It hasn't stopped me from going because it's been pretty consistent.

Dining in seems to be okay. The parking lot is pretty tight. during pick hours the drive through is very difficult to maneuver especially when the parking lot is full and people are going in and out off their parking stalls. They always have some kind of deal going on. Which I guess is pretty good if you don't have coupons. if you're that kind of person. Popeyes in Hawaii can be a bit expensive, I guess like most things in Hawaii.

One counter attendant 7:30 pm, other register being serviced. My order went : "I will have the number 2 meal, mild, side order mash potato, eating here." Counter reply "was that mild or spicey?" I answered "mild". Counter: "Are you dining in or take out?" Reply "dine in". Counter "would you like white or dark meat?" Really? When does a drum stick or breast have dark meat? I replied "forget it". Walked out. I cannot eat here in peace after getting frustrated. I ordered many times, this new attendant has a problem.

The ordering took long and then you wait for you order and only to get like warm food instead of hot items. The system seems to be lacking coordination between the workers. More training is needed before putting the employees on the register to take the food order.

I am convinced that this is the best tasting fried chicken but lots of confusion when it comes to coupons. Of you see them in a newspaper ad clip them and bring them or the resturant may refuse to give you the deal. Some dispute with mainland based offers being too cheap for Hawaii stores.

I would have given it less if it was possible. When you go here in the evening, be prepared for an extended wait time. My order took almost half an hour. I have been to actual restaurants that take less time. If I had known that it was going to be this long for fast food, I would have taken my family to an actual restaurant.

Chicken had awesome flavor, but it was so dry and tiny, like they killed baby chicken sized. There was more bone than meat on our chicken. And the bathroom was closed for repairs. The interior was really nice, they did have booster seats, and it was nice and cool A/C, which is what raised them a star. Also, their Cole slaw taste better (from last time I ate at the NEX location).

After 20 minutes waiting, we still did not get our food!!! If I can give ZERO start for this location, I will. I placed my order at 7:17pm and the order number is #637. After the staff calling the #643, we still don't have our food, so I went to the counter and asked about it. The staff who might be the supervisor (because he was wearing different color of uniform than other staff) told me "we are waiting for the green beans and it should be less than 5 minutes". After I saw them brought the green beans out, I walk to the counter and though I will be getting my order now. NO, that was not the case. The same person told me, "We only have 1 corn left". I told him, it is unbelievable that they ran out the corn, I just saw all the people took their food with the corn with their order. His response was " Oh yeah, they (he pointed to other staff) took my corn!". No apologies from him and from his reaction, I feel like this happen here all the time. It is not acceptable, how can the restaurant running out the food at 7:17pm??? At this point, 20 minutes later the other staff was calling the number #656. It made me angry was not we have to wait for the food, it was the customer service. There is no ONE staff apologies for what happened and there is no leadership in the store. Don't you let your customer know right away if what they ordered can't be fulfilled (the green beans) and offer other option?????? Not wait another item ran out too. It's common sense... This is first time we are in this store and I am pretty sure will be the last time as well. We love Popeyes chicken and I guess we will just have to stay with the store we always go to, the Navy Exchange location. They NEVER let us wait for more than 3 minutes.

It is a chain store and the staff here maintained the consistency you would expect in the name. They honored local coupons and had in store promos. It was super busy during dinner time in the drive thru so we walked in and was able to get out faster with our take out order. Fries and gravy for mashed potatoes are too spicy for the kids but good for the adults. Chicken is either spicy or mild and tastes great. Look for monthly mailers to your residence and discounts in the newspaper. I was afraid the fries were too spicy so the cashier let my kids try a piece. It was spicy so we just ordered more mashed potatoes. Good customer service.

The chicken here was well cooked. We purchased the family deal 10 pieces, 5 biscuits, 2 lg mashed potatoes for only $20. We decided to get then mild because the spicy chicken is too spicy for my family. We also got the shrimp popcorn, it's okay, it taste better with the sauce. Worker Crystal was very helpful, kind and genuine. More places need to hire people that welcoming at their counters.

Found a foreign object in my chicken. Look like a green scrubber used to wash dishes. It tasted good until I hit that piece. The bathroom toilet look like it was for children in grade school, way too small and no toilet paper. Everything tasted good but small portion with small prices. Spent a total of $16 for myself this day

My favorite fast food fried chicken! This location is in a sketchy shopping complex off Dillingham so I always order take out but there’s always open stalls. They hire persons with disabilities which is fantastic. I almost always receive great customer service at Popeyes! I love their mail coupons too!

Our food has always come out in a timely manner and always hot. Prices are reasonable. It is always busy but the staff keeps up. The eating area is cleaned up and swept and the staff is friendly. The only thing that would keep me from giving a 5 star is the menu seems to always have a sign stating Not Available. I guess not all tv advertising is available on the island.

I never tire of the chicken. It is always tasty BUT I had to wait over 15 minutes for my order. Product was available but short on getting workers to do their job filling orders. There must've been a dozen customers waiting for their orders to be filled. Many workers but only 1 person filling drive thru and dine in orders.Very dissappointing. This was at 7:30 pm tonite at the Dillingham location in Honolulu.

Went around 7 PM on a Sunday, the place was pretty full, and so was the drive-through. The gentleman who took my order was very friendly, efficient, and bursting with positive energy. There were over a dozen orders ahead of mine, and it looked like they were training new employees (packing the food), so our wait time was about 25 minutes. However, everything was freshly cooked and delicious, even after a 15 minute drive home. The biscuits were still soft and warm, the chicken was still hot, juicy, and crispy. Overall, outstanding customer service and delicious food (not just by fast food standards).

I Love Popeyes, so much better than KFC in my opinion. But I was a little disappointed when we walked in and the menu had not available all over it. Luckily they had everything I wanted. Unfortunately not what my daughter wanted, but she ordered what was available with no complaints The lady helping me was not really helpful she rolled her eyes when I politely asked "I'm sorry, what did you say?" She had a very strong Filipino accent. So this alone was for my rating The food was still good though.

First time here. Heard a lot of good things about it but wanted to try it for myself. First things first, we tried the popcorn shrimp and chicken strips with fries and mashed potatoes. Food was alright, not as wowed as I thought I would have been but I think if we had gotten the bone-in chicken it may have been different. The strips were good quality meat but were not as hot as I like, temperature wise or spice-wise. The shrimp was ok too. The sides were good and the biscuit was great! The service was pleasant, with friendly cashiers and workers. The tables and seating areas in general were clean and well-lit. Fountain sodas were free refill and extra sauces were free. Bathrooms needed a code. All in all a nice experience. I was impressed with their service but not as impressed with the food. I'll have to give it another go with different orders from here.
