Went to buy take out here after a beach outing. Originally bought enough money for Maguro brothers but the wife suddenly craved the food here so we decided to walk the extra distance thinking that we have enough money. After ordering we found that we were a dollar short because we forgot to factor in the state tax (we are not Americans). The girl serving us had a absolutely disgusted look on her face when we told her we will be back later as we didn’t bring enough money. My hotel was a kilometer away so it took me a long time to get back with the money. When I arrived I found that the food (containing raw fish) was simply left on the counter for the slightly under one hour I was away. The same girl was still wearing the disgusted look when I asked her if the contents will leak if I place it sideways in my bag, she just told me no it’s pre-sealed. And of course the contents leaked and stained my brand new clothes. After returning to my hotel, I opened the box, and some of the raw fish smelled a bit stale and as I am writing this am contemplating if I should risk my health and eat the food or just dump it completely. So maybe the food this place serves may be good generally, but personally I will not want to return to a place with such lacking standards both in service and in the management of raw food.

Kind of disappointing honestly. It was weirdly expensive for what is offered. I got the lettuce as a base and it was clearly old / not good lettuce and it made everything else taste off. Everything is "an additional $" which is always annoying. I was just expecting better, especially for Hawaii. I've had better chain-restaurant poke in SF

The food was awesome and the staff was friendly and customized the food as per our vegetarian/vegan needs. There are lot of toppings/options to choose in the poke bowl and offers a good set of vegetarian options by default as well. Definitely recommend this place.

Never had Poke before, now I crave it. Enjoyed the flavors and location. Inside it’s a bit tight and seating is limited, so be prepared to take it with you or fight for a spot to sit.

Stopped here for poke bowls after a long day running around Honolulu and the beach. Lots of options for additions to the bowls, with enough vegetarian choices as well. One of the better meals we had during our stay. Fast service meant that the line moved quickly. Portions were pretty sizeable and offer a good value for the price.v

It provides good enough variety to choose from. I chose spicy tuna (very spicy !), salmon and shrimp and mixed vegetables. Those who are having keto diet will have no problem choosing food here! It also provides brown rice and sushi rice. I guessed the fresh ahi is very popular as we went there at 8:30pm, it was sold out.

Possibly the best Poke in town. The service was fast, efficient and friendly, the food super delicious, the condiments added fantastic, overall it was a wonderful culinary experience. I’ve tried other Poke, nobody comes even close to the quality and great taste of the Poke Bar. Tables and chairs to enjoy on the spot, free wifi. Loved it!

Solid four stars. They're located right in a shopping center in Waikiki so it's a given that they'd be expensive. $13 for a medium bowl which is what I got. That's two types of seafood, either shrimp or a couple choices of poke, and one side, either mac salad or seaweed. After that you can put more toppings like cucumbers, corn, edamame, and many other things. Choose your sauce and a few more toppings to like fried onions and garlic or masago. The quantity was just right or a little lacking depending on how hungry you are. But the quality was pretty good. Only four stars because there wasn't anything that stood out as great like the quantity or price. Overall pretty good.

Prices and portions were good and seafood tasted fresh. Not a lot of topping options and they ran out of avocado when I went. The sauces were subpar, could have used more flavor. Not the place to go if you are searching for authentic poke.

So many options - you start with size (thankfully i went small) then rice type, fish species, salad, other ingredients, toppings and sauces. I really had minimal idea so basically said yes....often. I ended up with a lunch that was healthy tasty and quite big. There was seaweed, crispy onion, ginger, wasabi, toasted sesame seeds, pineapple, jalapenos, tuna poke, spicy poke, cucumber and that was just a small number of the ingredients. A cute little poke shop in Waikiki area. There wasn't too many people there during the lunch hour so we were able to quickly get our food. This poke place allows you to choose all your toppings for a good price and there's quite a lot of variety. Nothing too special about the place but the prices were fair and the fish was good if you're looking for a quick eat while shopping.

So I was very skeptical trying out Poke Bar in Hawaii because it's so popular in California and kind of a franchise so I wanted something more authentic. I broke down and tried it out, and wow. Big thick chunks of fresh fish, authentic tasting mix and BEER! So worth it! Very different from the Poke Bar on the mainland!

The bowl I created was delicious, with tasty and fresh options, and the price for a regular size - $14.95 - was stellar. The service was fast, friendly, and attentive. The space itself is about what you'd expect from a fast-service poke spot: not too small, but also by no means large. When my SO and I ate there, we were two of only ~6 seated guests, with everyone having chosen tables outside, and it didn't feel cramped in the least. I order a peach/mango iced tea, which unfortunately came unsweetened. That wouldn't have been such an issue, except that there didn't appear to be any way for me to sweeten the tea myself. On the upside, refills for the tea were free. On the downside: I didn't actually want any. Overall, Poke Bar is a convenient spot to sate your poke craving.

A yummy place to get a customized poke bowl! Two options for sizes (Small vs. Regular) and 2 or 3 scoops of poke respectively. Small was still a generous size and big enough for my appetite. Unlimited veggies and add-ins make for an awesome and filling meal with great value. The people behind the counter were really nice and efficient and making your meal. They prompt you for things if you're not sure what's good too! Yummy and great value. I would definitely eat here again.

Very good build your own poke bar. They get their fish from the fish market and then u pick from an assortment of bases, toppings, sides, and sauces. Food was excellent and the portion size is good. U don't get as much fish as Maguro or ahi assasins, but the base and sides were tasty.

Food is good. I am a vegetarian so such places are blessing for me. I didn't take any protein or fish, and they didn't even gave a decent proportion of veggies and dressing which was kind of disappointing, it seems they we're not ready to serve a decent amount of meal. Not full filling at all.

Had very little time before I had to catch my bus to the airport, and wanted to do some last minute souvenir shopping so this was the closest fast option for my last meal in Hawaii. While it was quite busy when I went (around 7pm), the setup moves people quickly, it only took about 5 minutes ti receive my food. Was pleasantly surprised with this place, as its basically fast food. You get to choose basically everything ingredient you want in your poke bowl, staff move it down the production line like a Subway, and you choose what you want in it. Quite a filling meal for the price (around $15). Not a lot of seating, had to eat it outside. Would recommend for a quick meal after shopping, or if you are in a hurry for any reason!

Had first Poke Bowl last night and it was awesome. Took picture and sent Warm Aloha to friends in Nashville. Had Ahi and Spicy Tuna. Staff was awesome and bowl fantastic. Headed back today, 2/22/2019 today. If you love sushi, don't pass up the Poke Bowl opportunity.

Loved this place. Lots of choices, quick service, delicious foods. I'm glad I found a place to take a casual bite. Tuna and octopus poke was amazing. You can add toppings as much as you can, only avocado is extra $0.50 or so. Brown rice was delicious too.

As just arrived in Waikiki, I was’t able to explore any eateries where I could take a sip of draught beer with fresh food. But after wandering around the street near the Royal Hawaiian Center, I just came across the Poke Bar. This is the perfect choice for those who seek the relish of Hawaiian soul food. I strogly recommend this delicious bowl full of fresh veggies and chunks of tuna won’t never let the travlers from all walks of life down. P. S. Another advantage: no worries for tips! (In Hawaii, you need to prepare for coins in your pocket for gratuity to a waiter in almost every eatery^^)
