Celebrated my big 5-0 here and it was easily the best meal I’ve ever had in Hawai'i. Everything is perfectly prepared, with attention to detail. Every bite was an adventure. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable and perfectly paced every dish. And, you can’t beat the million dollar view of the Bay. Go just before sunset so you can watch day melt into night over the sea.

Five star for the flavors, service and ambiance! Less than five stars for the very small amount of tasty food and the very high cost. Seems like they might have more repeat business if the cost equaled the quantity served. I would not be surprised to spend many hundreds of dollars for two persons to actually feel satisfied. It’s too bad because the small ‘snacks’ are incredibly delicious! Make reservations, only open for dinner and bring a bank roll!

One of the better sushi experiences on the planet. Simply put, Larry Ellison likes Nobu, and since buying the island from Rupert Murdoch, he's made sure he's improved everything from the local community pool, to the experience of the Four Seasons. Part of that was convincing Nobu to open on Lanai, with fish flown in almost daily from Tokyo seafood markets, on a private jet. This is some next level stuff. There is a teppan-yaki, communal dining experience available, with your own private chef (think Benihana, but yeah, that's insulting to Nobu). Reserve ahead, for sure. The sake menu, the bar, the traditional sushi, and the amazing execution on the unbelievably fresh product, all make this to be one of the best dining experiences you could hope for. Some of the appetizers are out of this world creative, and I do believe there's a tasting menu if you just don't want to deal with choosing. You can't go wrong.

Went here to enjoy the sunset and have a drink. The straws had dirt in them and ended up taking a huge sip of dirt. Honestly shocked at this happening here; my friend also had dirt in his straw and he drank it all as well. He Ended up spiting the drink and almost vomiting.

This was an absolute amazing experience. I live in NY and have been to other Nobu but this one is special. No where else can you get the same menu. The locally sourced products they offer here are amazing. The seared venison served Sashimi style was one of the tastiest things I've ever eaten. You can do the typical Omakase but I recommend doing the meal that combines the sushi and the local menu from the kitchen.

Hands down the single best, most remote, most remarkable Nobu. The freshest seafood imaginable. We were able to go straight to the counter and sit, unheard of in New York. Be sure to sample from the kitchen menu as well as omakase. The local Lanai venison is the sweetest most melty red meat I have ever eaten.

One of the best meals of my life. We did the omakase (chef's choice) and got a big variety, from lobster to sushi to truffles on short ribs. The service is incredible and they all really know and love the menu to help advise you. They even brought out the chef to say hello. We had a few bottles of sake and sat in comfortable couches overlooking the ocean and pool. An amazing experience all around. As you might expect, it was very expensive.
