The food came out quick. Service was good. No parking but street parking are available.
Noon Dim Sum during the week end to get the best and hotest dishes. Still good during the week, but thing are usually not coming out steaming hot ;)
Good food , good price , good service 。
Another Great Dim Sum place. You will love this place if you go during lunch expect to wait.
Food is amazing, service is just ok
Good atmosphere, fresh seafood. It was interesting to observe open kitchen. But the personnel was not as polite as they should be.
Really authentic Cantonese dim sum restaurant. We asked some local Chinese in Chinatown what their favorite dim sum restaurant was. This place got recommended. There was a waiting line at noon. We waited for about 10 minutes. Well worth the wait!! This restaurant still has carts riding around with fresh dim sum. The food was really good. The portions were good as well. We ordered too much for just two persons. Definitely worth another visit!
Good Dim Sum. Everything you could ask for. Variety with each cart a different tasty morsel. Just ask the crowds waiting for their table.
Great place
This is the best dim sum I've ever had. A must in Honolulu if you like Cantonese food. Good price, didn't wait too long. Quick service.
Best dim sum restaurant imo. Mochi rice in lotus leaf and the spare ribs are my favorites. Lots of validated parking. Located on the outskirts of Oahu's Chinatown. Have some food then take a walk through Chinatown to work it off lol.
Love their dim sum, best in town.
Authentic Dim sum at great prices... Go early or be prepared to wait
Good food
Great variety of seafood of good quality. Very attentive service from staff. Recommended by a gringo!
Great Chinese seafood.. Good dim sum also. I'm coming back try other dishes.
Super long line but quick service. Food is very yummy.
Love to come here when I am in town.
Excellent dim sum place in Honolulu. It has the feel of the dim sum places I've liked, a long line, a packed house, and carts filled with delicious things moving around the place. The food here is quality and some of the best in the state.
It's a crazy place on weekends... all the people... the forever wait line... the carts coming everywhere... all in all a place to experience at least once.
Go where the local Chinese people eat!!! Wide variety of dim sum places available. Probably the best dim sum place in Chinatown. If you are in town craving for dim sum, Jade in Alaska Moana would be the best bet.
I prefer this place as for dimsum. The dinner that I had was ok. Nothing extraordinary.
Loved the experience at this restaurant!!! We went as a large group and they were very accommodating. The food was amazing and from the experienced and we'll traveled in our group said it was authentic. I plan to return when my family comes to visit!
Not the best, but typical Chinese cooking, ok for family dining place, but dont recommend for big event parties.
One of the top GOTO places for locals for excellent Dim-Sum. Come early though especially on the weekends line can be long but its worth it, the staff go around in carts with a variety of tasting dim-sum. If you are new to that kind of food, keep an open mind and trying it! Chicken feet is pretty amazing!
Dim sum yummy
Awesome service and food
I went to legends for a congratulation it was great and the service was awesome
Love the food! I try to go to Legends everytime I fly into Honolulu
Delicious food and excellent customer service! Will definitely return and highly recommend to all the die hard dim sum fans out there!
Great dim sum menu
Great food and good service! I’ve eaten dim sum from New York to Chicago to San Francisco.. this was as good or better than any of the others.. definitely worth the wait of 20 minutes to be seated.
Love the food
My favorite dim sum on the island, but the wait is long on weekends. I've never in my life been to a dim sum place that had good service so can't complain here either. The food is fresh and good.
5 stars because the food is great if you're looking for Chinese. A bit pricey but I think it's worth it
Great dim sum food, awesome staff. A great place for friends and family to enjoy.
Good dim sum but can get busy on weekends.
Reasonably priced and truly authentic Chinese dim sum. Went during lunchtime, short wait but well worth it. Judging from the line, my wife and me found the right spot. Good service, loved the variety of choices. Dim sum carts right to your table, hot and fresh. Was served immediately upon being seated. Definitely will be back, Master Po left feeling full and satisfied
Mochi rice so Ono !
In my opinion, it is the best place for dim sum in Honolulu. However, the wait can be lengthy during lunch hours. Most dim sum can be ordered direct from the push-carts going around the restaurant. However, there are specialties that do not appear on the push-cart but you can order them directly with the wait staff. It would be good to go with someone who knows about the varieties of dim sum if you want to try dim sums that do not appear on the push-carts.
Great seafood and price is fair.
Best Dim Sum
Consistently excellent food. Be adventurous, you won't regret it.
Awesome, busy, you should go with someone who can speak Chinese so they can order for you.
Great Chinese food. Love the Shanghai noodles there. Plenty of parking. Dim sum can be slow waiting for a specific cart but dinner was fine.
One of the best in the island. Great assortment of choices. It's not high end nor low end. They occupy that space between Jade Dynasty and Tai Pan. Always my go to for sit down dim sum.
Legendary. This place have the best dim sum in Hawaii. Their egg tarts are amazing.
A nice dim sum restaurant at Chinatown. Because of its popularity, it can get full house quite early. Expect some wait but the food is fresh, delicious and it is worth it.
Food too salty over price
Awesome crab platters, and the place offers solo much more I know ill be coming back now that I found it! Also not so expensive as to inhibit good times and you can stay for beers. Overall well worth the money spent! I give 5 stars deffinitely!
I have been going there for 22 years. Dim sum for lunch is excellent. They are very busy.
Many many many people. You better go there earlier.
The great dim sum attracts crowds. The place feels rapidly at 10:30 in the morning.
Food tastes great servers are rude
Pretty good food, but kind of a lot of MSG.
Food was freshly prepared & delicious. Crowded & fast-paced.
The food and service were excellent today. Really enjoyed the experience
Brought the family here later at night while on vacation. The family was mostly from the midwest and it was great to watch them enjoy the traditional dishes.
Awesome dim sum. Only wish they had it for dinner time. I'll be back!
By far the best seafood place ever. The server was quick and precise with my order. The bartender made one of the best Old Fashions I have tried
ALWAYS, ALWAYS LOVE going here for Dim Sum!! Freshly made, delicious, hot and fun to watch the carts come around. Anticipation makes it more FUN!! Will definitely keep going back!!!
Nom nom dim sum
A little expensive than other restaurant. But tasty , good dim sum.
Food is good but service not so well
In of the best tasting ducks for me in a while
Dem sum House needles so good
Extremely busy today at lunchtime. Lucky we had reservations. Delicious dim sum from the carts and tasty seafood dishes from the menu. Very crowded and noisy but worth it.
Great food, average service, but theres a few roaches running around the restaurant.
Good place to eat dim sum.
Favorite dim sum restaurant in Honolulu Chinatown. Usually a wait but not very long. Have to go here everytime we go to Oahu. Dim sum is offered via rolling carts with very fresh varieties. Other menu items are also available.
The food was fair. I remember it being better. Perhaps it was an off day.
Crab and black bean lobster
I loved the variety of dim sum available here. Service was friendly and not pushy, and the carts came around often. Very convenient parking in the lot in the Chinese Cultural Plaza.
This was actually the first time I ever tried dim sum, and it was a little intimidating, but overall very delicious and fun. We ordered WAY too much food, though, the sweet little ladies pushing the carts around just kept showing us good stuff! We couldn't eat it all, and I felt bad for wasting food, but it was still a very good value. Not much in the way of atmosphere. Good for lunch, then walk it off in Chinatown.
They were having a private party when I asked if they were open, the man at the front door said something I could not understand, so I asked again, then he slammed the door in my face. I get that this time of year is busy with lots of parties, but at least they could have been nice about being closed.
I was invited here for a wedding reception. The food and service was ok. Their duck and cake noodle was delicious. Also, their salt and pepper deep fried pork chop was amtrak's.
Legend serves the best dim sum in Chinatown! While other restaurants serve at least some items that are as good as those at Legend, and are typically slightly cheaper, the quality at Legend is uniformly good, and the restaurant is cleaner and more spacious than others.
Delicious food and it stays open till 12am.
Best dim sum, normal waiting time 1/2 hr - 45 minutes. Definitely will come again.
Great service and food was good.
WAY overpriced for the mediocre quality of dishes. I've heard great things on their dim sum though-will try that next time!
Best dim sum in Hawaii.
There is always a wait but it's definitely worth it. Food is hot fresh and bountiful. I come here everytime I come to Hawaii. Can't wait until my next visit!
There is no better place on the planet to enjoy dim sum. My grandchildren from California, visiting me for spring break, say that they are never again going to want to go to dim sum at home because it pales in comparison to Legends in quality of food, selection and service.
Good selection of dim sum foods in a comfortable atmosphere!
Weak food, ok service but not fast today. Nice thing was it wasn't nearly as busy as it used to be. Probably not going to try it again, unfortunately. This used to be the top dim sum place in Honolulu I was told by several Chinese friends. Someplace new will fill the void in my hunger for good dim sum in the future. I'll still enjoy the good memories from here.
Out tyt to tx
This is the restaurant I get my dim-sum-fix each time I return to Honolulu. Service is great and food is yummy. It is located in Chinatown-Honolulu, which is perfect for walking off the great meal. My favorite time to visit is during the mornings when they serve the dim sum; however, the other dishes are great, also.
Food tasted like grease that had been used too many times. Service was spotty.
One of the best dimsum places in Honolulu. Everything seems fresh and taste good. Only 1 star off due to service, not because of bad service but more in terms of language barrier. If you don't understand Chinese then ordering might be difficult for you. So it's best if you bring someone who speaks Chinese so that you can order more food and get what you want. There is a parking structure and they valid your ticket. You pay for your tab at the back desk.
Great service during the evening hours as I hear the lunch hours are very busy. I love the food and prices as well.
One of the best dim sum experiences in Honolulu!
Yummy dimsum!!
My cousin came in from Maui & he took me 2lunch there. We ate dim sum. Food was good we ordered all kinds from the carts.
Wonderful dim sum!
The very best dim sum on Oahu.
So far best place for dumplings
Worst service ever! Staff is rude and the food in just ok. Also they are lazy to make something you want to order, the staff will tell you they are sold out. This is why I will no longer take my business here. Go to Mei Sum better food nice staff and food is made to order.
Excellent Chinese food in downtown HNL!
We had one of their special menus for 10 people. Food was great and more than enough. Price was reasonable but they added 18% for our group.
Love the food here. Best dim sum in town. We will only go here for dim sim. It's really so good. Service has gotten better over the years but the cart ladies still seem slow to come around when you're hungry. Order your duck as soon as you sit down so it will be ready before you finish eating.
Food is good, not exceptional
Went to Legend for dim sum and it has gotten better since May. We were pleased with the taste and the size of the dumplings. Price is $3.95 for the medium sized dim sum.
the food they offered were just your traditional, chinese seafood dishes. but there’s nothing wrong with that. in the past, for dessert they offered a jello mango flavored fish. i’m not sure if they still do but now there’s a red bean dessert.
Arguably the best dim sum I had in Honolulu. The place was packed with Chinese customers during lunch time. If you go after 11:30 am you almost certainly would have a long wait. The service is fast as the dim sum cart is wheeled in front of you. Basically you have food as soon as you sit down. The quality of food is above most other restaurants. The menu has a lot of other dishes including sea foods.
Great place for dim sum!
Come here every year for weddings and funerals. High quality dim sum for Oahu. It's so much better in Canada and LA I know.
old nice delicious place
My number one favorite dim sum location in Hawaii! This place gets busy fast so its recommended that you arrive before they open. If you are a frequent customer, the staff is good about recognizing you and making you feel like family.
This has to be the cleanest Chinese restaurant I've been to, at least in Chinatown (Jade Dynasty probably wins the former). The dim sum here is consistently good; I've been coming here for years. They have everything I like and it's not too pricey. Be on the look out for the things they bring out by themselves; these will often be fresh from the kitchen and piping hot! Speaking of hot, they also have a moving cart with a grill for freshly grilled vegetables, dumplings and look fun! The service can be hit or miss depending on how busy they are, but it's never been outright bad, and some of the staff are quite friendly! I'm not sure how to say this cleverly, but they validate parking.
Fast. Delicious. Curtious!
Great food and friendly staff.
Great Dim Sum. Just had dinner there with my cousin and dinner was fantastic. We got the seafood pre-set menu for 9 and there was more than enough for our family to even take home. Everything was delicious.
Very rude sericice kept standing over us as if we could not afford our meal. First time any restaurant forced a tip on me. She could of added to the bill. We know basic math still tried to squeeze out a few more bucks. We were rushed to order food and she got mad wen we asked about certain dishes. One lady obviously did not speak English kept SAYING NOT ASKING "ice water. Food was pretty good actually but the service was horrible. After she gave us the bill she stayed over us as if we didn't have it. NEVER HAD TO ARGUE ABOUT GIVING A HIGHER TIP!!...WE GAVE 10% SHE WANTED MORE...I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS RUDE PLACE WE WERE DISGUISED WITH THE SERVICE
This place sets the bar for dim sum in Honolulu. They have a huge variety of items roaming around on at least a dozen carts. Although the servers can be difficult to understand the ambiance adds to the Chinese cultural experience. We always order the chive dumpling and pork hash. There is always a wait but usually takes around 10min to get a table.
Favorite place for Dim Sum whenever I go home!
very good service price reasonable
The staff was friendly and attentive, and always made sure we had everything we needed. The food was so great. Highly recommend.
This is definitely my go-to spot for dim sum. The service is decent given that it is a Chinese restaurant. We always order additional items to take home for later. Place gets extremely busy during peak lunch time service. Try going early in the morning to have a more pleasant experience without that's crazy long wait times.
Really nice surprise. Good banquet style Cantonese Chinese food. The service was really good. Los of parking.
Love this place and food. The cart food Service is quick and steady with fresh dim sums. Employees are kind and work efficiently and systematically. I would eat here everyday.
Dim sum here is worth a drive.Typically very busy. I can see why. Fabulous food and staff.I had the best custard ever.
Great prices, great dim sum.
Excellent food. We were seated quickly despite the number of people waiting because someone in our party was in a wheelchair. It was very considerate of the host.
good food, best for adventurous seafood fans. super crowded but not much wait. dim sum style spot that's best suited for people who eat anything (even without really knowing what you're eating). Speaking Chinese speaking will be helpful for ordering and knowing what is on the carts, as most of the employees speak very fluent English. It's definitely an experience- closest you'll get to being in Hong Kong or China here in the islands lol.
THE BEST
Service was great, foods were okay
Went on a Thursday for dim sum. Though the place was very full we did not have to wait for a table though I wouldn't have minded if we did since busy dim sum is good dim sum! The food was very fresh and delicious, on par with muy favorite dim sum spots on the mainland. The service was actually very good and the waitresses helped us find everything we wanted.
Dim sum was deelish.
Seafood is great. The land food is pedestrian. The service is pretty mediocre. Like your typical Chinatown joint, rather dingy. The ongchoy and noodles are good. Ginger crab was the star.
The dishes is eminently delicious
Great Chinese Cuisine and Service.
Good place to have a party or family events. Affordable prices for good foods..
True Cantonese food. Highly recommended. Will be crowded on most lunch though.
Had to wait outside about 10 min the place was packed. But it worth it . The food was really good. Dim sum and duck was fresh. They walk around with food and offer you to pick , kinda like Brazilian steak house. Also you must try mango pudding my new favorite thing
During peak times its 50/50 on getting what you want. This time, 45 minutes after being seated and we were offered 3 dishes that were available. We finally left frustrated. Never got what we wanted and it took about 15 minutes just to cash out. Other times we've had similar experiences but not that bad. To be fair, the food taste is above what nearby competitors offer.
Delicious cuisine, reasonable prices. Bit of a wait if you arrive at peak hours though. And noisy; tables are crowded together.
Great food
Best dim sum in Hawaii. A bit of a wait, but well worth it. Shumai is fantastic. Many items to try. Recommend trying the custard tarts. The e-min with crab meat is delicious.
Excellent fresh tasting food and quick service. There was just a couple of dishes I wish they had that most other dim sum places have like Peking duck with steamed buns or individual char siu. Prices were reasonable too.
Delicious food !
Weekdays aren't as busy. Did is inexpensive. Yummy dimsum!
Still my favorite place for dim sum on Oahu. There are quite a few dim sum places in this center in Chinatown, but this place still has the tastiest bits around.
Wonderful dining experience. I love the dim sum on Sundays :D open at 10 so get their early as its extremely busy and popular :D
Pretty okay dim sum place. Pineapple bun was delicious.
Delicious dim sum, much better than other dim sum places around Honolulu. The service was great, but you'll need to ask for water as it's not provided immediately.
Not much new to say; the service isn’t good or bad: It’s Chinese. But even if the staff seems disinterested in your experience, the food is absolutely fabulous. Exactly like many experiences I’ve had in Hong Kong, both in service and food quality.
