My Fiancé and I went to this restaurant which is supposed to be one of the Best ones. Top 10? Unfortunately, we were not impressed. We ordered salmon nigiri. And the salmon wasn't fresh, the colour and texture were not up to standard for a restaurant of this level with such a good reputation. The pork chop (I didn't a picture), the sauce was too plain. More marination and seasonings is needed. On the other hand, the chicken (shown in the picture) was excellent. The sauce blended perfectly giving the chicken very nice flavour. The service was good at least the manager came and very accommodating and receptive. Overall, for the price you paid, you don't get the quality.

The waiter was rude as hell and we even got dessert to go. The least the manager could have said was let me get your dessert for the inconvenience! Nope. Nothing. However, my fiancé and I were unable to join my family due to a dress code. Now, it was my fiancé's birthday, we had just been invited to come to dinner after a family member's graduation festivities, and it's our first time here. We had no prior knowledge of this place and the dress code it had. But NO, he does not want to nor need to wear a pair of pants provided by you. Thats just a bs. Sorry we don't have the time to go out to fancy places like here. It would have been nice if the elderly gentleman had heart in him to let it slide since we were celebrating and the heat outside is a bit hotter than usual. Went to Hokus for Sunday Brunch. I would highly recommend this if you love seafood! There was an abundance of lobster, king crab legs, shrimps and mussels. Their sushi selection was extremely fresh and you could taste the quality and freshness of their sashimi. The soft shell crab appetizer also very tasty with a light batter and accompanying salad. Dessert selection was also very good with a variety of tarts, Japanese cheese cake, donuts and fresh fruit. Best of all service staff were attentive and the view of the beach and crystal blue waters is breathtaking. It is a bit pricey and further away from Honolulu but worth it for the quality and an escape from the busy tourist strip.
