We've got the reviews of real people who bought the services and products of Eggs \'n Things Waikiki Beach Eggspress (Restaurant) in Hawaii area.
At this moment the firm gets a score of 3.9 over 5 and that rating was based on 2252 reviews.
As you can see it has an average rating is quite positive, and it is based on a large number of feddbacks, so we can be pretty sure that the valuation is quite reliable. If there are many people who bothered to leave their opinion when they've done well, it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to set scores when they are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Restaurant corresponds to the category of Breakfast restaurant.
This place should be rated higher. Ocean views, great food with huge portions at a reasonable price. Anyone who says the prices are high should be buying a can of spam from the local store and eating it at home. Try this place for sure! As for the service, it's hot & busy and they still manage to serve with a smile and an aloha.
Amazing fresh local food! I now have been to the one in Guam and Hawaii both amazing. Thanks for the fast and heart customer service. Recommend to everyone. Plan for a wait in line, this is very popular place.
Interesting Hawaiian take on breakfast food . They also.serve more traditional breakfast food and sandwiches.
The food was just ok. Eggs were undercooked. Nothing special except you tip first before even seated. My coffee mug still had a lipstick on it, waiter no where to be found. I resorted to my water and after I finished no one came to refill.
Phenomenal heaps of deliscious food! Busy little joint, line may look long but it's worth it. Came back 3 times in the 4 days I was here. Eggs Benedict is heavenly. The black coffee is never ending. Very pleased with this spot. Will be back!
The service was great but honestly I don’t understand the line people have lost their mind , the food was really average like you can have everywhere and way better in other place .
Good food. Eggs are their speciality so try those before diversifying.
I rarely give 5 stars, but they earned it. Food was always outstanding, and some of the best coffee I’ve ever had. It’s locally sourced from Kona I was told. We ate here 3 times in 3 days. They often have a line to get in right at opening, but once those first tables turn it seems easier to get in. Try the coconut pancake syrup! To top it off, they were less expensive than many other options.
The view from the open windows is amazing and the atmosphere is friendly. The pancakes and omelets are delicious. Get there before 0700 or there is a line.
I almost didn't check this place out because of the enormous waiting lines to get in. We went in the evening as it was quiter. I asked the wait staff what they are known for and was told the pancakes! I ordered the mixed trio. One macadamia, one coconut and one plain. The pancakes were super delicious, fluffy and fresh! Not too heavy or doughy! The syrups also complimented the pancakes perfectly! Very yummy!
Long wait, pancakes were not done in the middle, poor service. This place has a great view of the beach.
I had a fantastic meal with my girlfriend at Eggs ‘n Things. My Cajun ahi tuna and eggs was great and her eggs Benedict was out of this world. I would 100% be back here in the future. I recommend this place to anyone who likes good food, nice service and respectable prices.
The food and service are excellent. it is directly across the street from the beach with excellent ocean views so The prices are high as with most places in Hawaii. I had the special omelette it came with pancakes. Coconut maple and guava syrup. Combining coconut and maple
Extremely over priced. The wait may be incredibly long; order, pay and tip before even being seated!? I could make a better breakfast blindfolded.
Over priced, over rated, long lines and average food... One of my biggest disappointments whilst in Hawaii. I can honestly make a better breakfast... The best thing off the menu was probably the pancakes, otherwise everything else is average and small in size.
Awsome food! Worth the wait!!!
Delicious food... there's always a wait time..
Cozy breakfast place with amazing food.
This place always hss a long line, but it moves pretty quick. You order once you get to the host, and they ask you yo pay the cashier first, and then you are seated. We ordered spam and eggs AND an order of macadamia nut pancakes. It was super tasty and definitely worth the visit.
Great service kaukau onolious
Not bad for a large tourist area , get in early or expect a wait
Whatever you do, just do yourself a favor and get the pancakes with Macadamia nuts and whipped cream, as a side. They will BLESS YOU! And don't forget to use that oh-so-amazing coconut syrup. Freaking mahalo!
Good food and large portions. Priced for the beach in Hawaii
One of my favorite breakfast spots in waikiki! They have menus in Japanese as well.
Great service, dont let the long line scare you away...they take your order at the podium before you pay so that when your seated your food almost beats you to the table..good food also, try the smoked salmon and poached eggs.
We finally got to try this amazing restaurant and got in line to give it a try. We were not disappointed! We loved it!
Weird ordering and paying before you enter . Food was okay. Service and hospitality very good.
Great food and vibe at excellent value. Amazing views onto Waikiki beach with friendly service.
Terrible service and mediocre food. Don’t try and substitute anything or else they’ll charge you full price for the side of meat. You’ll get better treatment at the McDonald’s next door.
Wonderful price, great atmosphere, excellent service and awesome food
Best breakfast I had in The area worth checking out. Service was excellent. Also get there early to avoid long, line did move fast.
While the food was good, everything was wildly overpriced. $20 for a plate of pancakes. The prices on “Menu” on the restaurant’s google page DO NOT reflect prices in the actual restaurant. Example: Coffee was actually $4, the Açaí bowl was $9, etc. Fix the prices somewhere, though I advise going with the online prices as they are far more reasonable. Overall, service was good.
Great view of the Beach. Hawaii style diner with unique recipes
Great food! Well worth the long wait in line. You will not be disappointed.
Nice meals, quite busy, lots of yummy looking dessert and breakfast options
Was delicious food but huge portions. Felt really bad throwing out so took to go to give to the first homeless person we saw.
I want to go back to Honolulu just to eat eggs n things yummy!!!!
Delicious but very busy. Expect to wait.
Soda was flat. Water tasted weird. The eggs have a weird taste. Was disappointed.
Very nice breakfast! Daughter likes pancakes here.
Been to Hawaii many times, always want to visit here but always scared of the crazy line up. Since there is another location opened up i went early in the morning by myself and it wasn’t too bad. Ordered a kona iced coffee downstairs while I was waiting, turned out to be the best coffee I had in these couple days. Egg Benny was okay, pan cakes were fluffy and soft yet with a nice bouncy texture. Paired with 3 different flavours of syrups.
Great tasting food here, but small portions. The line was out the door and around the corner so we are still thinking that we might try another menu item. We are staying very close so it's also very convenient. We ordered to go so we could get our food quicker
Over priced by a lot. Go to McDonald's right next door. Same portion for much less.
Delicious breakfast menu! I loved the Eggs Benedict with the potatoes. Glad we chose here as our first breakfast stop in Waikiki.
Love the fact they offer meals for 2 to share at a great price. Food was very tasty.
Cons: long line and not so great customer service. being my first time we had to order our food before we sat down just as we got to the door, so I felt rushed and the guys seemed annoyed like we all know what we are suppose to order me and my friend did not feel good about that at all. I did love the syrup they had both coconut and guava both pretty good I bought some to take home. Other then service food was good but not great. Overall once service is bad, it’s pretty much ruins the experience.
Ate here for a late breakfast, was really impressed with the service and choice on the menu, the pancakes were good and the omelettes were fantastic. Will be going back
Good prices, clean restaurant, eggs were a little overcooked. Line is a bit long so be prepared for that, but they have menus outside in English and Japanese so you can see what you want while you wait
Great place and great service, will came back for shure.
Perfectly acceptable. If you want a simple breakfast and no fuss, you'll be happy here. The eggs benedict are yummy. The Loco Moco is delicious.
Second time here. The first was quite some time ago. But it was busy as usual and again it's to be expected being in Waikiki. Good food and pleasant staff. Don't forget to grab a menu because you order before being seated. Try the coconut syrup on your pancakes! Definitely recommend
Food wasnt that great as it looks in the picture over priced and service not that good either. Not worth waiting in line for
Hello everyone. This is our second visit as a family to this restaurant. I litterly left in tears with my family after being treated extremely different then the 2 Korean and Chinese family behind ours in line. We seen 1 booth opened. We asked what's the wait time, she said they're cleaning it now. I looked over and as they were, they moved a Korean family to the table and went back and cleaned the other table and placed us in a corner. I told my husband is ok and we were sat down. The other 2 families were sat down right after us and they proceeded to not only welcome both but take their order. Not once did anyone came and offer to see if we wanted anything to drink or if we were ready. My daughter (12 years old)noticed and it just crushed me as a parent to be treated with this type of disrespect and ignorance. I stood up and I told my family to please stand up and walk out, as we did the gentleman comes with a smirk on his face and all I said was thank you for your service and we walked out. I expressed to my kids to never ever stoop to this level nor never let people like this think they can treat you this way. Dear eggs n things..God bless you
Looks can be deceiving. In this instance it looked much better then it tastes. Another overrated Waikiki restaurant with a great view. My wife and I ordered pancakes and omelette to share and it was blah. Skip this place and try Shorefyre for breakfast.
I wish I could make this ZERO stars. However, since it is not possible, one star will have to suffice. This restaurant is an extremely overrated tourist attraction, to say the least. The customer service is very poor, and the employees are incredibly slothful. The restaurant makes you pay for your meal before you are seated, but the employees did not bring out all of the items that I paid for. Ten minutes into dinning, I had to call one of the servers over to tell him about the three drinks that had not yet been brought over, and this was during a non-busy time of the day; the restaurant did not have its usual long line through the door. The employees are not very sanitary either; one of the employees wiped sweat off his forehead with a napkin, and then he used that same napkin to serve another customer his drink. Not one time did an employee come over to see if I needed anything. I had to spend time calling over employees for additional things, and the employees were seemingly reluctant to assist. Also, there are birds in the restaurant that continuously fly over your meal as you are trying to eat. The food is below mediocre. The pancakes are undercooked. I can go on and on about the restaurant. In any case, I will NEVER return to Eggs 'n Things in Hawaii, and I will make sure to tell everyone I know who visits Hawaii to never eat at Eggs 'n Things as well. A surprise health inspection is certainly needed. The restaurant does not deserve to post the 'PASS' certification on its window.
great service, very tasty food. Hawaiian style loco moco was fire! can't wait to go back
Great food that was reasonably priced. Amazing location also.
Great breakfasts!!! Long wait, but it's worth it.
Little disappointed considering the hype. Cafeteria like with plastic cups and plates. I would recommend, much better breakfast spots in Honolulu.
So yummy. Polite employees. Clean.
__Honest Review__ Aesthetics: 3/5 Service: 1/5 Food: 2/5 Price: 2/5 Overall Rating: 8/20 Passed by this place a few times and always saw there was a line out the door, so I thought it would be worth the wait. The line is deceiving — it’s crowded because you order outside, pay inside, and then wait in another line to be seated. On top of that, the line goes by super slow! Waited about an hour to go through the whole process. The host who takes your order is kind of rude to foreign customers, he has no patience for them. The line makes you think that the food is good. The food is subpar and mediocre at best. We ordered the funky monkey pancakes, the pancakes were DRENCHED in peanut butter that ended up making me nauseous by the end of it. We also ordered the corned beef hash omelette, the corned beef hash was very watery and the omelette isn’t light and fluffy, but dense and rubbery. The employees are so focused on bussing the table and pushing customers out so they can let new people in, they don’t come by and ask you how you’re doing, they don’t check up on you not even once! No water refills, had to flag down an employee for 5 minutes before I could get a refill on my coffee. The weird thing as well is they want you to pay PLUS TIP before you get seated. Who does that! Lastly, it is overpriced for what it is. Simple plating, simple environment, and average portions do not justify the $15+ price range of some dishes. Would not come back, would not recommend.
Who doesn't like breakfast foods? Eggs 'n Things has great options, it's usually busy here. I love how there's different options of syrups! You should try all of them. Everything was delicious! I can't wait to visit again and try something new!!
Fast service great food excellant prices.
The food was awesome and the service was definitely very accommodating! I love the fact that they take your order while you wait in line for your table. Makes the wait worth while. I got the spinach, bacon and cheese omelet with an ice coffee and it was delish
Good food, nice vibe, reasonably priced. Gets busy but not as busy as it looks, the line outside is actually a queue to order, then you pay and then you are seated...food followed swiftly.
Food was oily, and that was after waiting 30 minutes. Definitely not recommended.
Good food and good service. The wait to get in was too long
Despite the long line, this joint was stupendous. Everything moved quickly, as they take your order and have you pay BEFORE you sit down. The portion sizes are huge, the food is amazing, and because no one has to take orders or give out checks, waiters are quite vigilant with water refills and the service is super fast all around. Definitely a must-go when in Waikiki.
There was about a 30 minute wait for seating, even at 6:45am. Had the traditional Loco Moco, and it was delicious and filling. Friendly staff
My mother and I ate here while visiting Oahu back in 2015. I have told everyone that would listen what a great place it is. I absolutely loved the macadamia nut pancakes with the coconut syrup! I am in the middle of planning my next trip and eggs n things was the first restaurant that went on my list. Can't wait to eat here again! Update: I'm excited to say it will be August 9th!
Worth the wait. Once you are in service is fast. Food is good.
awful line and order process....food meh...not worth the hype
Fast turnaround....food is edible but not worth the wait. Not try again.
We went here for breakfast and despite the long line to get in, it was worth it! I got the kalbi and eggs and my girlfriend got the vegetable omelette. The pancakes were delicious and the kalbi and eggs were great. My girlfriend wasn’t impressed with the omelette unfortunately so I’ll deduct a star for that, but otherwise it was a good spot to get breakfast for affordable prices.
One of the best meals I've had while in Hawaii! Will definitely come again when I'm back on the island.
Excellent service and good food.
You order at the door. Small restaurant. Quick service once you actually make it inside
Good food good, fast service
The food here was absolutely awesome. It was definitely worth the wait.
Worth every penny! Can't remember what we got here as we ate at so many waikiki establishments. But I know we enjoyed this place and food was good! If you're in the mood for breakfast food with local grown products this is the place to go!
Slight wait time. However, the food is delicious. Will definitely be returning!
No frills breakfast place with amazing pancakes.
The food here was sooo good! A great place for brunch. The employees were very nice!
Amazing food but kind of slow to serve. Great views from the tables.
When people wait in line for 45 min to sit at a restaurant you would imagine it's worth the wait and it absolutely was worth every second of it. The omelet was amazing the pancake was so incredibly fluffy and tasty maybe top 3 i have had. They had a coconut syrup which i never had before and added a new dimension to the taste. Really great staff and i would absolutely recommend going here.
Only 4 stars because of the wait and the food was just... regular nothing fancy as how a lot of people say "it's the best eggs ever! So delicious! U gotta try it!!" But the banana crepe was good, could've been bigger for the price lol Anywho, all the staff was so awesome and our food came fast and hot!
Food is good and service is quick. Don't let the line discourage you from eating here, it's worth it! Also, don't forget to try coconut syrup on your macadamia pancakes, it's the best!
Underrated even though they appear all over Honolulu. Lines for days (not really, but there are usually lines). Service was neither fast nor friendly, it took me 45 minutes waiting in line to get my food. Which was surprisingly very good. I had streak and eggs, btw. Service - 2 Food - 5 Prices - 4 Comfort - 3
The reason for 1 Star review is, This restaurant encourage people to do +$1 donation by adding “Pink Sprinkles” to any dish, to support breast cancer, however these pink sprinkles are all chemical and not good for your health, moreover there is no organic ingredients or any organic option to choose from the menu! Now, my question is how come you provide foods to people plus those chemical pink sprinkles to your customer and present yourselves as Cancer Fighters? If the manager read this and consider changing their strategies for donations, I’ll remove my 1 star and will rate 5.
The pancakes here are out of this world! I don't normally order pancakes because they're just typically not prepared and executed correctly. I ordered these pancakes four separate times in different forms and each time they exceeded expectations. They're literally the perfect pancake. You won't find a better one anywhere else! You MUST have some!
Delicious pancakes. Huge portion. Average price. You have to wait a little but the wait is worth the quality. Came twice during our stay in hawaii. I got the banana pancakes
A (very) large menu at very competitive prices. The service wasn't great on our visit and there's a confusing sign saying "Pay first, then wait to be seated" at the entrance - despite offering table service. The food was perfectly good, but the service let it down. The walls are covered in Make A Wish pledge stars - they politely request a $1 donation to Make A Wish Hawaii which is a refreshing touch.
Worst place. Serving manner is so bad. Plates are dirty. They throw the dishes on to tables. Taste is not bad but feels so bad after visiting.
The wait wasn’t too long when my husband and I went. We ordered the loco moco and rainbow pancakes. First time trying the loco moco and it was pretty good but I’m not too sure about the $20 pancakes. Regular pancakes with A LOT of whipping cream and sliced fruits.
Get there 10 mins before they open or mid afternoon and you won’t have to wait! Food is worth it! Super tasty!
Superb brkfast place, I liked their benedicts and it is on a crazy location with a view. Quick service and a bit expensive but everything is expensive in hawaii islands. Cant complain about the price. I suggest you go as as early as possible to avoid the rush.
Love the rainbow pancakes. So good.
I had the tastiest Crab egg Benedict for long time. Great place to have breakfast.
You'll have to wait in line, but while you do you can decide what you want to order. You'll order at the end of waiting and pay soon after. I found that strange, but the food was still great. Thank you for the friendly and attentive service!
Ordered an omelette and a pancake sampler. The food was decent but it didn't hit expectations given how highly rated the brand is.
Macadamia Nut Pancake is a Must Try - for me, this is their best dish. (10/10). We also tried the sampler pancakes that had blueberry, strawberry, and banana toppings (7/7). Loco Moco we found fairly oily (6/10) Corned beef hash (7/10) Steak with Onions and Mushroom Toppings (9/10) It is also a bit pricey. The View is (10/10) wait is always long 45 mins or so during breakfast /brunch /supper time.
Great food. Very long waits here. Choke tourists.
Always a great breakfast place as long as you don't mind the wait.
Their Loco Moco is delicious! Awesome place, food and service. Highly recommended.
The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is because the place was dirty: sticky tables, menus that were falling apart, etcetera. But the food? Holy moly. Everything was super scrumptious and really gave us a taste of Hawaiian food. I’ve never had salad with pineapple dressing before, that’s for sure. The staff was friendly and let us change our seats to be near the window. You could see the beach outside, and the cool air coming in was great. Would recommend :)
Solid breakfast in a no fuss setting. You wait in a line (peak periods), choose your food from the menu and order just before being seated. Food came out quickly.
Wow awesome place to eat, slamming egg omelet and banana pancakes with whipped cream, and coconut syrup yummy
Enjoyed eggs Florentine which were perfect. Because I was alone ending up at counter with wall right in front of me. Went again but got take out quicker and enjoyed across road by beach. Also take outs do not have to wait in the long line. Just go up and Order at the inside desk.
Although there is a slight wait, the food is great! Will definitely be coming back!
Great place, good breakfast, and great service.
Long wait, but well worth it. Get there early to avoid the long line. The food was delicious and satisfying. The buttermilk pancakes are a must have! You pay upfront after ordering which is awesome because you can just get up and leave once you are done eating. They accept credit cards. The only downside is the occasional birds in the restaurant.
Not sure if it's just me or the food really wasn't up to expectations. Seems like one of peoples favorite places in the area for breakfast, but there aren't really any other options. My food was odd, didn't care to eat most of it. The iced coffee was good. It has a nice view, and friendly service, but I wouldn't come back, must not be my type of food.
The omelettes need more salt. No flavor to them. But there pancakes and coconut syrup is bomb
Little bit of a wait to be seated but the breakfast was so good that I forgot about the line at first bite. I had the Kalbi ribs and eggs (
Amazing as well. Lines can be crazy, but moves pretty fast!
Horrible service ridiculous wait food was aight at best
Was a bit disappointed with the food. Fried rice was too salty n my burger was a bit too oily. Their pork chop wasn't too bad thou..
This place is so good only a review punctuated with profanity would do it justice and this is a family website sooo.....
Popular restaurant on the ground floor of the Aston Waikiki Circle Hotel, this place is super busy at breakfast, though they skip ahead smaller groups (1 or 2 people) regularly. One rule you should note is that you order and pay before you sit down here (opposite of what you would expect at most restaurants you sit down at). You should decide what you want before you get to the front of the line (staff provide menus to those in line)! Probably most famous for pancakes, I decided on the eggs benny, well done, standard fare, comes with pancakes on the side. The juice is freshly squeezed and refreshing. Price is reasonable for the portion size. Many locations throughout Honolulu, always a great breakfast option! You can also buy pancake mix and other souvenirs to take home!
I love breakfast and this place offered all of the usual breakfast items. We got a bunch of dishes and tried a little bit of each and it was good
There a queues here in the morning that'll take you a while to get a seat. Before you enter the restaurant you need to make your selection, order at the counter and pay on the way in - probably doesn't play well for their staff for tips as they then just bring the food out and not much else that you come to expect with service in the US. Food was ok, scrambled eggs were a little buttery/oily and the spam was ok. Pancakes were average too, but as far as breakfasts go this place was mid range, but good for the price.
This place is amazing and quick. I visited this place back in 2014 with my pregnant wife and we both loved it. Now we both have 2 young toddlers and we took them to try their first Hawaii's breakfast brunch and they absolutely loved their sweet tasty pancakes and waffles! Line ups is usually long in the morning but it is quick.
Decent breakfast for a decent price. Get here early because it fills up fast.
The food is good, the syrups are delicious. If I'm waiting 30+ minutes and paying top tier prices, it should blow me away. It didn't, but it was a solid good breakfast. 4/5.
Yummy food with front ocean view. The only unsatisfied point is the reception. If he can smile and be more patient to the customer, I would like to give a 5 stars. Another potential improvement is adding a simple sign next to the menu box, so that customers know they need to order in reception.
Great food at amazing location, I can totally get use to enjoying breakfast with ocean front view every morning. The only improvement opportunity is the reception service. Nothing personal, but the gentlemen upfront by the stair could use a little smile and acknowledgment when communicating with customer.
Went for a late dinner and ordered their so called specialty, rib eye and eggs. It arrived quickly, too quickly as both our steaks were raw, not just in the middle, but all of it except for a thin layer on the exterior. Usually you only get this result by cooking it from frozen without waiting for it to thaw. We politely sent them back stating that yes we had ordered them medium-rare, but both were quite raw. They brought out two new steaks. One was more or less medium so was mostly ok. Mine, however, was dried out because it was cooked beyond well-done into grey. Added to hash browns where some of them were cooked and some just looked cooked and were rather firm when bitten, it was certainly not worth the $$. The eggs were perfect, so there’s that. I didn’t expect steakhouse quality but for all the hype in the menu, I expected that someone knew how to cook a steak. There was no way I was sending it back a second time as I really didn’t expect any better results. I did inform them of the issue when they asked and just got an oh, that’s not good, in response. So while they may have good egg based meals, do not order the steak. The second star was that they at least tried to rectify it, but the result was to the extreme opposite end of the spectrum, raw to severely over cooked.
Food is great, but due to the process (order, pay, eat) it is not possible to order something additionally. Also there is always a long waiting line. Which of course tells you it is a good place to eat. One thing they could do better though, is the coffee.
Very busy and quite basic but food was cheap and of good quality. Nice little place for breakfast.
Crabcakes Benedict Is very tasty. My husband and I split that with pancakes for the side and had a fruit bowl. Was plenty of food. Good coffee. Great views when you sit at the window booths
Was the authentic experience as others have said, didn't have the pancakes so shall go back again befor we leave as they look Devine, savory dishes were nice but not anything too special. I shall review again after the pancakes, location right across the road from the beach is a huge bonus. Such a beautiful spot. Do try guys, great experience for how popular the place is.
Food was very good. Good service.
Although they were obviously not at full capacity, our order took over an hour to arrive. The food was ok, but nothing to write home about. They messed up our order too. My biggest gripe is that they ask for payment/tip up front. This is a stupid system. Tips should ALWAYS be asked for after service - and based on good service. Tips should not be taken for granted. I won't be going back.
Don't be discouraged by the line. You place your order while waiting and the food arrives shortly after being seated. If your lucky to get seated along the windows you will forget you even waited. Definitely try the macadamia pancakes with coconut syrup. Whoa!
The syrup options alone will get you there.. Coconut, Maple and Guava..deliciously compliments your breakfast choice. Order & pay prior to getting a seat is why you'll be standing in line awhile if you don't arrive early morning before the other islanders or tourist! It's a small quaint establishment with open views that may provide you an opportunity to have visitors of the feathered kind.
We had a delicious experience, while visiting from Texas! The food is tasty, the stuff is nice and the view is beautiful
This is breakfast hawaiian style. This is a must go place if you in Waikiki.
Tasty, efficient, friendly, authentic, and inexpensive
Really good Eggs Benedict! However, the restaurant is small and seats fewer than you think so be prepared for a bit of a wait and lineup. Also, you choose what you want before being seated, and pay first.
The breakfast food was outstanding! The room was cool and inviting and the staff were friendly. The fresh fruit was to die for. The wait, as others have mentioned, was not short, but given the view and the area, it wasn't unpleasant. Just don't go here expecting a quick in and out.
Mmmm.... i always get corned beef hash & eggs(over medium). Not many places open up early. They do for me at a time for the start of my activities for the day. Always busy, always a line out the door. I always have done take-out. So just imagine how the food would taste when you sit down to eat there!
Stuffed!! coconut ,papaya. & maple syrup eggsbendect with fresh crab meat
Food was great seating is a bit cramped but worth the wait.
Worth the wait! They really try to be as efficient as possible by ordering your food when you are waiting in line outside so that when you get seated your food is ready. I know some people don’t like to feel rushed but once we sat down we never felt that way. Try the pineapple pancakes!
Great spam and eggs, short wait, worth it
I dont like that they ask for a tip upfront. Tips are to be given based on service and if your giving a tip before you get service then you may be tipping someone who doesnt care to give good service. They already got their money.
Massive menu takes a long time to get through. Especially with the extra options after 12pm. Got the Ahi burger and loved it.
Long wait for less than average food. Cream for the coffee was spoiled, eggs for the spinach Benedict were overcooked, floor and countertop were sticky, no refills on drinks other than coffee...
Little bit of a wait and tight space but it's only because it's worth it. Delicious flavors. We tried both and Eggs n Things over Dennys any day of the week.
While in town for a few weeks, I ate here almost every day. That is not an exaggeration. Almost every day. The food is delicious, the service is fantastic, and (by Waikiki standards) the price is extremely reasonable. A five star rating does not do the business justice. Throughout that time, I was not able to find a single bad thing on the menu (though the Pineapple Pork Chop is far and away my favorite dish). Down to the coffee, there is not a single thing which you will find disappointing. Though, I do feel the need to warn anyone reading this: there will be a line. If you are not there right when they open, there will be a line almost stretching into the street. You may find yourself waiting 45 minutes or longer for food. So be cautious of that, or get there extremely early. But, if you find you do get there early enough or are willing to wait, you will find amazing food to start your day off with.
Rich in the beach theme, and amazing hospitality! Loved the environment. If you are looking for fancy, this is not the spot. But if you're looking for the Hawaiian experience, this place if perfect! The best waffles in the area. Did I mention the great hospitality?!
Reasonably priced for Hawaii. Excellent selection. Small facility. You pay before you sit down which is unusual but understandable. Good view of beach. Good food.
Great view, great food and awesome service!
Pretty good. Large portions. I got the mincemeat and eggs with spam as the meat. I've never had spam before and I probably would not get it again. I don't doubt that Hawaiians know how to prepare spam to be as tasty as spam gets, but to me it was just ok. The eggs were good. The potatoes rock. My wife had pineapple cheesecake crepes that were crazy good. The pineapple tasted very fresh.
Long line outside with no seating, finally order and prepay at entrance, then wait to be seated indoors. Menu offerings nothing special or unique to Hawaii. Most memorable aspect was the lengthy standing wait.
Food is great but waiting to to be seated not so good.
Great for a quick in and out breakfast or quick bite, opposite the beach.
There’s a line. But you order right away, pay, then get seated. Order your favorite breakfast foods, enjoy the casual atmosphere, and get outta there to keep the line going!
