Great lunch stop! The place can get pretty busy depending on when you show up. There’s limited seating but we drove down the road to the park where there are picnic tables. The garlic herb chicken plate was delicious! The food prices aren’t bad for Hawaii. Not as expensive as other spots and the food and service were great.

I absolutely love coming here for breakfast! I love their fluffly omlet, you can choose 3 ingredients to add to it, it comes with fruit rice and a slice of corn bread. I order my omlet with: bacon, onion, cheddar cheese, mushrooms and spinach. I friggin love this combination❤ i always skip the rice and ask if they can give me an extra corn bread, that corn bread is by far my favourite on this island. Breakfast is over at 10:30 am They close for half an hour to clean up and re-stock for lunch, which starts at 11:am I've also tried their grilled garlic chicken sammich... Seriously felt like i died and went to heaven when i had that first bite! I highly recommend❤❤

They have the best scones. They aren't traditional dry biscuit scones, they have a more cakey texture. The cream cheese blueberry are my favorite, but they also had a banana cream cheese one that was very good.

Time and again I have visited the Diamond Head Grill, and the past year they have had my patronage they have yet to disappoint me. Aside from having a well rounded menu, every item I've tried has exceeded my expectations. I would recommend this establishment for anyone in search of a satisfying and filling meal.

Not sure if you can call this place a market. It's more like a small bakery with limited selection. There is a fast food place next it. I only try the bakery section and really like pahua with taro and crumps at the bottom.

Awesome little hole in wall, walk up window. I get the BBQ pork rib plate just about every time. Meat is tender and falls off the rib. So good. Comes with brown rice and salad, also delicious. I like to add a little of the local hot sauce they have that's in a giant jug when you pick up your meal. I've also had the salmon plate and rib eye beef sandwich. Both are very good to get too. Def worth eating here.

You can say the prices for Diamond Head Market and Grill seem a bit high for a plate lunch. Sure, but the quality of food here is worth it. Their fish and meats are cooked perfectly. Their fries, by the way, are the best around. They're crispy on the outside and always hot. My favorite is their salmon dishes — salmon plate or salmon sandwiches — but people also dig their kalbi and steak plates. Their plantation iced teas are also wonderful. If you enjoy sweet teas, you'll enjoy their take. Step into the market and also enjoy some of the best desserts on the island. They're all excellent.

I really can't say enough good things about this place. If you are looking for lunch, they have some of the tastiest wraps, salads and pasta to go. Easy to grab if you are on the go. They also have cold meals that can be heated up if you wish. Now, if you are looking for dessert, the bakery is the BOMB. Scones are to die for. You must try their scones! But also, you must try their cakes! They sell them in single slices and I promise you, it's worth the price. Or if you have a special occasion their whole cakes will not disappoint. Absolutely delicious! Get yourself here and try the goodness!

Consistantly great food prepared well. Both the Market and the Grill are excellant. The Grill knows the difference between just flipping on the grill to turning only once to get that nice caramelization. Their seasoning is well chosen to enhance, complement and bring-out great flavors not overshadow or coverup. Ingredients are well chosen for freshness and flavor. One of the nearby Waikiki neighborhood's best kept secrets. Definitely worth the walk/drive up the hill.

Just moved across the street so we decided to try the grill. The food came out at a decent time. there's a market next door. There's only like 2 tables outside to dine. The char siu plate was nice. My sister got the burger. She said it was good. But she gave me her onions, they weren't too tasty. It was soft and not a bit crunchy. Other then that it was nice. Parking looks pretty hectic.

So delicious! This is not like every other plate lunch place. They make everything their own way, so it tastes unique and absolutely delicious. I had the bacon gorgonzola burger and it was wonderful. The bacon was cooked until crispy and the burger was juicy and charbroiled. I absolutely love their cream cheese scones and the variety of foods they sell in the market all look so good. So many delicious salads, sandwiches, desserts, and dozens of other yummy dishes. This place is a must-try.

Came here after hitting diamondhead trail. Ordered the breakfast kalbi w/ kimchi fried rice. Egg over medium. Big plus for over medium egg, lots of places seem to have trouble. Kalbi was delicously seasoned, so flavorful.

EVERYTHING ON THIS MENU IS GOLD. Great plate lunches. Big portion for the price. Go big the the loco Moco! For the healthier folk the grilled ahi salad is delicious. Enter the bakeshop next door for some of the best pies and baked goods on the island. Parking lot is a small disaster but so worth it.

Came here for dessert and mixed plate. Was hoping mixed plate woukd be better than rainbow but it wasn't. However, the cheesecake and strawberry shortcake was excellent and consumed in minutes. Oh and they have great vegetarian options like kale salad, quinoa and lots of other stuff. Theres also beef wellington and lasagna. Who would have thought?

We went to this place because a friend recommend it. We ordered the New York steak plate ($17.50) and the Surf & Turf ($19.75). Hubby is not impressed with the cut of the steak (there is just too much fat). I'm pretty happy with the shrimp and chicken in my dish. Portion is pretty generous. Both dishes come with white rice and salad on the side. Ask for soy sauce to add on your rice otherwise it might be too bland.

Their famous blueberry scones are more like a dense muffins. Flavour is delicious. I love that dollop of cream cheese on top of it. Tips: size is quite huge. Share it with your friends if you couldn't finish it. It taste better fresh than if you let it sit in your bag for a while (cause you couldn't finish it)

Good, but not as much as everyone hypes it up to be. Everything is pretty expensive because all of the tourists (like me). The workers aren't too happy to be there, by the looks of it. The buses stations in the vicinity are rarely stopped at, so be careful or you'll end up sitting there for an hour like me.

Homemade hamburger patty on the burger I ate. Inside the market also nice selection of prepared eatables that looked fresh when I was there. Downside is no public restroom. Eating area is some picnic style benches & tables outside so when it started to rain we had to scramble for our cars.

Downgraded from 5 stars. Maybe success has gone to their head. They seriously need to work on their service. It was never this bad before. Can't call in an order because when it is even the slightest bit busy they leave their phone off the hook. I drove there to place an order and had to wait 30 minutes because the cook forgot the salmon for the salad. On top of all that I had to bag my own order as they were too busy. "Busy" being two other people waiting on orders. There sure weren't any phone orders.

Chanced upon this shop while walking back from diamond head hike. Just opposite to Aloha petrol station. Food menu are reasonably priced. Tried garlic shrimp and hamburger steak. Hamburger steak was well priced and nicely cooked. Garlic shrimp was alright as I tried better ones along north shore. The ice tea was kinda overpriced at $4.25 so give it a miss. Overall it's a good food place with many crowd dropping by for take always. Market inside also serves many varieties of packed food, soup and desserts.

Scones at the bakery are great. The breakfast from the grill also great. Fried rice breaks your mouth. Made fresh to order. The cook does scrambled eggs so yummy. They're not just an afterthought like most places. Every bite is scrumptious.

We tried ahi steak, salmon, and beef short rib. Every entree tasted fantastic. Miso ginger salmon is simply perfect. Wasabi ahi is slightly raw in the middle but we wish we can taste more wasabi. Beef short rib is tender, juicy, and tasty. Portion is right on for us, one scoop of rice with some salad and main protein. I think I can eat at Diamond Head Market and Grill everyday!

A favorite spot for us. They have great lunch plates, an extensive menu and fast service. Go inside and buy a scone, pie, cake or other to-die-for dessert. They also serve pre-packaged snacks and plates inside. Parking is sometimes tough. Usually only a 10-15 minute wait on food.

Passed by after visiting Diamond Head, read the reviews and decided to give a try. There was a queue when we got there, and most of them are local. We had salmon burger, and loco Moco. It was really good at reasonable price. We also bought some dessert in the shop after food, they are delicious!
