The positive: a great location right on Waikiki beach. The restaurant has an open feel with large windows and ceiling fans to keep it cool. The food is good but the portion sizes are a little on the smaller size. The waiting staff are friendly and reasonably attentive. However, the negative: we paid cash and when our waiter returned our change his first comment was "where's my tip". He didn't give us any opportunity to leave any kind of gratuity once we had received our change. I understand tipping is normal in the US and I normally do oblige, however what I don't like is to be directly challenged over it. To me that is unprofessional and rude. Unfortunately this left a sour taste to our experience there and hence why I've given it only 3 stars.

This is our 3rd time to Waikiki and we always come to Cheeseburger Paradise. All the staff are always professional and pleasant. A special mention this time to Sasha B for constantly making sure all our needs were catered for during our visit. We will definitely return again.

Overall a good experience. The service was slow and we did not get everything we ordered. It was not busy at that time. As with everything in Waikiki it was a little pricey. Great restaurants down the road off the beach with lower prices.

Best place for happy hour and karaoke in the area. I've tried drinks at neighboring locations and they aren't as strong. The staff is extremely friendly. They play great music on the weekend. Fun for family or friends.

I was just passing by and came in to eat a simple cheeseburger with bacon, however I was amazed, the meat was very juicy, the bacon crunchy! it was undoubtedly one of the best hamburgers I have ever eaten for a fairly inexpensive price! I want to come back soon to try them again!

Amazing service, got seated immediately. A wonderful and friendly vibe. Their tropical drinks are authentic, smooth, and spunky. Their cheeseburgers are a must have, very juicy and overall satisfying. Our waitress, Holly, was an absolutely pleasure of having. This is my new guilty pleasure. I went after a shopping trip with some friends. I had a burger but we started out with some wings 5 stars across the board for the food! Everything was good and there were no complaints. But I have since gone back and had just the wings and a salad. The wings can be ordered in different amounts . Give it a try, I don't think you will be disappointed.

Not sure what happened to this place? I had been working locally near here and staying at a hotel nearby. I was frequenting Cheeseburger in Paradise regularly and was thrilled at the food and price. Fast forward about 11/2 years and the service was horrible sitting at the bar. 3 people sitting at the bar and I had to listen to the bartender tell his life story to his "friends" while he ignored me for a refill. The nachos I got sucked by the way. Overall disappointing primarily due to the service and rather bland food.

Very good burger joint. Some reviewers complained about the meat and onion rings, we can’t say anything bad about them. Even the chicken strip of the kid’s menu were very good. Would return. EDIT: OK, I remembered I had better Mai Tais but that’s not a deal breaker. Too sweet and too much pineapple juice for me. It may still be your thing.

This place is the best place in the area for burgers and beers that I've found. I spent a couple months in the area for work. Went back multiple times every week. Beers and drinks are good price. Food is cheep for what you get. Large portions. Delicious taste.

I went here to kill time before a movie. The food is ok. Not great not bad, what I like about eating out is the service. This place fell short. Everyone seemed preoccupied and the place was not packed at all. This would have been a 1 star review until Angel stepped in. He was very personable with me and everyone else at the bar. He engaged in conversation to build repor adding to the overall experience.

We waited in line at Dukes so long I was getting sick from hunger, heat, and humidity. We left and walked to Cheeseburger in Paradise. We received great service and they made an outstanding Pastrami Sandwich. My boss ordered chicken. Grateful for such a delicious and moist pastrami sandwich. The atmosphere was great, too. And I was blessed to take the photo of a sweet couple trying to take a selfie in there. I'll be back to this restaurant on my work trips to Honolulu.

Came before the USA MEX game on 9/6. The restaurant tables were mostly empty. Thought we would be in and out. Two cheeseburgers took 40+ minutes. Apps came out cold 25 min after we ordered them. Drink refill check in took 30 min. The good news is, I learned never to go to a Cheeseburger in Paradise again.

I ordered the cheeseburger salad. There was no cheese on the burger. Instead there was a little finely shredded cheddar and Jack in the corner. The cheese was not melted what's so ever. Was so disappointed. False advertising. Cut corners like this and your restaurant will fail.

On vacation from Illinois, heard about this place from our hotel staff and it was only a few blocks away so we figured we’d give it a shot. Not a bad wait given we have a large family and there was a big dance competition in town. The food was decent but our service was lacking, we were there over an hour and besides getting our order and the check we only saw our waitress 2 other times and pretty much sat the whole evening/meal with empty glasses (my wife and I had to share our larger drinks with our kids so they would have something to drink). I can’t say it was only the waitress but what I would assume to be the manager came by our table several times and never once asked if we needed refills or how our meal was but could clearly see our glasses were empty and pushed as close to the edge of the table as possible to be refilled (I thought that was the universal code for a refill/maybe not on the east coast). This could have possibly just been an off night for the staff, but if not some more training is definitely needed.

The chicken quesadilla was delicious and the French fries was good but the bacon cheeseburger that 2 of my coworkers ate 3/4 of the burger was rare and not medium rare. Very disappointing because that could have cause my coworkers to get sick or worst. The head chef should have checked it before sending it to the customer.

Fantastic burger! Fun atmosphere, right on Waikiki Beach. We were seated quickly even though it was packed. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 was our waitress. Took our order and brought us our check but not a lot in between. A Manger had to refill my glass when it was empty and bring us our food. All-in-all, I would recommend this place and I would go back.

Cheeseburger in Paradise has always been a great local restaurant for at least 9 years. Good food, wonderful drinks, and a wonderful view of Waikiki Beach make for a wonderful dining experience. Prices are decent but the portions are a little small for a 6ft 3 195 lbs guy who likes to leave full. Try the teriyaki chicken sandwich, you're on Hawaii, it comes with local pineapple!

The service to order from wasn't working so we had to call in our order and pick it up. My lunch is only 30 minutes so I had to make a quick dash. I am so excited we decided to order from Cheeseburger in Paradise. The chicken Cobb sandwich is out of this world. It was too big for me to finish it all. Since my first time eating that sandwich in a months time I have had it at least 6 more times and only one time was I disappointed. They forgot to put the avocado on the sandwich. This is a must have!

It's a hamburger joint with good food. It's exactly what you would expect and the people at both locations are very friendly and the service is great even though it's packed. I would say try both locations at the Top of Waikiki and at the bottom by the Hilton around the corner. On the one that has the outside bar is really fun. Don't miss either one.

Wow... Just wow! I ordered the original bacon cheeseburger and tasted one of, if not, the best, cheeseburger I've ever had! My friend had the Lucy Juicy that was equally scrumptious! The fries were shoestrings, and were delicious! Then there's the service... Our waiter was a young man named Gerrol who was so mature yet so full of humor and was tremendously helpful. The price wasn't bad... Two of us ate for under $40. I'm talking burgers the size of hockey pucks with incredible flavor. Come check them out!

I went with my family on August 3rd, 2019. The staff was amazing and very helpful especially the waitress by the name of Chelsea, she was amazing, great customer service skills. Chelsea was attentive and very informative. My sister and I order the Blue burger and my mother ordered the guacamole burger. Truly your moneys worth for the size of the burger, the fries were delicious. You need to get here and try their food, it’s delicious.

I repeated my order to three different ppl; two ppl twice. ALL got it wrong, then my friend and both of my daughters' were wrong also, my daughter and friend switched because they had the wrong bottoms, then the friend had mustard; mustard gives him heartburn. Then the other daughter' was wrong also. I never tasted my burger, however they all would have enjoyed five guys better, they said it was nasty. The waiter and manager apologized, I requested my check SN: appetizers/drinks were good... mozzarella balls, frickles and pretzel sticks. I really appreciated this place, the food is incredible, and the brooms were tidy. It was a little cool indoors, so yeah, it was not perfect. The waiter is excellent too. Bring your appetite and your wallet. Good burger, service was ok. If the service was a little better, it would be 5stars. We saw several wait staff pass by and they were great, however the manager passed by several times and even made eye contact each time, but never a smile nor greeting. Clearly we were tourists so a little smile of a stop by the table would have made this a 5 star stop on our trip.

We showed up around 9 am which was noon our time as we were in from out of town. Only the breakfast menu was available. The islands are mostly a tourist area and people are visiting from all over the world and time zones so would be amazing if all menu items would be available. Came here for lunch with coworkers. We were seated promptly. The food didn't take long to come out. Everything tasted great. Some of us got burgers with lettuce instead of a bun.

My boyfriend and I went to this location.. and needless to say service and food was amazing. Our waitress was on time with food, bill, and drink refills. The food comes in great portions, and is cooked very nicely all around. Definitely love the atmosphere, and will for sure be going back again!

Had a great time here for both dinner and breakfast. Our server was a gentleman from the Stockton area in California and he was amazing! He was so funny and helpful with an older member of our party who needed ADA assistance. We had an amazing breakfast with some drinks.
