This popular restaurant in Kahala is a family favorite. I always seem to enjoy the food more than I'm expecting to.on this evening I had one of their new salads that was excellent and have quinoa, mixed vegetables, and chicken. Is often extremely busy but on this evening we got in with no waiting. on a normal weekend or even weekday night it's not uncommon to wait 30 minutes to get a table.

We waited at our table for an hour for our food which never came. The manager said they would not comp our food or they would have to do the same for all of the other people who had been waiting for their food. The people who we saw sit down next to us got their food before us, and their food had the time to get cold. I hope they can learn how to run a restaurant someday, until then they lost 8 customers including one little girl trying to celebrate her first birthday. All the other CPK's we have been to have been great. This is the first bad experience we have had there.

Some of the best crust I’ve ever encountered in a pizza. If you like thin crunchy crust, CPK does it right! I’d recommend the Buffalo Cauliflower as a starter with a White Pizza as the main and a Stella Artois to wash it down.

I heard that this is one of the most popular CPK’s in the nation. I’m not sure if that is true, but it always seems like it. If you want a taste of California pizza here, expect to wait. Luckily there is air conditioning in Kahala Mall and they give you a pager so you can be somewhat of a free range patron as you wait. The service is excellent. Servers are very friendly and attentive despite their busy workload. And the food is decent. They’ve improved their free bread (it comes with olive oil) and their staple — BBQ chicken pizza is pretty good. For pasta, I prefer the chicken tequila pasta.

Not busy, got seat right away for 3pm on a Saturday. Long wait for food, though. Waiting 22 minutes after order (kept time since other reviews noted long wait). 2 appetizers, 1 pasta, 1 pizza. Cooks must be on break. Waiter not checking back with status, however very attentive later on. At this point disappointed with service level but food pretty good. Should have gone to Ala Moana location, though.

Waiter noted a gluten free crust only to bring out a regular crust and proceeded to tell us that it was gluten free. Did not apologize made us feel like we made the mistake and that we didn't want to eat it. Would never recommend such poor service.

A true CPK experience through and through. Friendly staff, prompt deliver of orders and the niceties you'd expect from an 'All American' restaurant (very clean facilities, highchairs, children's crayons, wheelchair accessible, etc.). Seating is organized so couples can have private meals and large groups can enjoy each other's company. This location has better (shorter) wait times at this location as opposed to Ala Moana Center (an extremely popular location).

I do not usually eat at CPK but we at kahala mall so we went. It was just before the lunch rush so we got seating right away. The staff was very friendly and quickly brought water and bread. We were splitting our food so we ordered buffalo cauliflower, avocado egg rolls & Thai crunch salad. Everything was good came quickly salad was fresh and flavorful the other items arrived hot and ready to enjoy. Definitely would recommend and go back again.

This is one of the best health conscious restaurants I have ever been in, and it also tastes amazing! I got the santa fey salad and it was mix of quinoa, sunflower seeds, peppers, spinach, lettuce, lemon chicken, avocado, and a rich, tangy dressing that perfectly matched the flavors. I also tried my friends pizza and the vegetables were perfectly roasted. Definitely a place to come back! If you like California inspired chain restaurants, this is the one. You will find a lot of vegan and vegetarian options here, too. The staff was ok, but I don't expect much from a chain restaurant. Overall, it is quite good!

Typical CPK. High volume, medium quality food and ok service. Kahala is nice with a remodeled restaurant and extended front seating. Pretty much what you would expect from CPK.

It’s a CPK so you know what to expect. This one handles the menu very well, which is kind of the price of admission I think. The service is more spotty. All the servers and managers are very friendly and capable. The problem lies in how they handle the lunch to dinner shift change. For some unfathomable reason they do it between 4:30 and 5:00, so if you show up at 5:00 you’re likely to be quoted a 20 minute wait while the restaurant sits half empty. Seems to me that they should be fully set up by 5:00 so they can load the place up uninterrupted. Last thing: skip the beers on tap. I’ve given up because it’s always dead flat. They just can’t manage the kegs properly.

We got there during peak hours so I expected a wait, it only took about 15 minutes for a seat. Our waitress was amazing, she was really nice and patient. Our food took about an hour, my family liked their food but my food was cold and the noodles were dry, like it had been sitting in the kitchen awhile. I rate the service a 4 but the food wasn't great.

The food is great! You obviously can't go wrong with their pizza (thin crust is preferred), but if you're feeling a little froggy, go for their chicken tequila fettuccine! You definitely won't be disappointed! Also, do their spring rolls for an app, and make sure you choose the Thai style with peanut sauce. Yes, I know what your thinking, but trust me, the pizza place knows how to do it!

Visited for dinner with my daughter and husband. This location is open to the inside of the mall so it can get pretty loud. We got there right before the dinner rush. We shared a small pizza. Food was very good and service was okay. We waited for about 15 minutes for our bill. Eventually I just got up and found our server myself. She had so many tables with large groups it was hard for her to keep up.

We were seated about 4:30pm so the restaurant was nearly empty, however we were seated right next to another party of two. We sat for about 20 minutes waiting to be greeted or brought water, and the server came out twice to serve the couple next to us literally rubbing her back on our table yet did not make eye contact with us and completely ignored us. It was the strangest thing. In the end we were glad we left as we found a much nicer local spot with great people that didn't have such a chain restaurant feel to it.

Great food, kids like it too. Nothing left. They have a fun little game on the kids menu where you have to do different things while you are there. One of my kids had to wear a napkin on his head, another had to sing a silly song into a fork, another had to talk with a high pitched voice, and I had to talk with a foreign accent. It was so much fun. Even the waitress and other tables were playing with us! Food is always excellent!

This place is very fancy! I love to eat there. They have a really fancy restaurant. But this one is in Kahala Mall. You can find other cpk (California Pizza Kitchen) in other places in oahu. But this is in Kahala mall, so you have to go in there (or there is an entrance outside) and you can ask for a seat or you can reserve a booth or table. Their food is delicous! If you like spaghetti then this is the right place for you! But they also have other delicious food to eat their too! They even have really delicious desserts! So if you want a fancy dinner, then I would recommend you eat here. This is in Kahala mall by the way.

Hostess Sharon was very welcoming and sat us at a window seat. Kiana was prompt, polite and humorous. My husband had The Steak which looked better than the photo on the menu and tasted even better. I had the buffalo cauliflower and pot stickers. They were beautifully plated and so tasty. We were visited by the manager who stayed that he'd been there for 30 years. Sounds like Ohana to me. First and foremost. Calling " California anything" , is a insult to the state and Californians . The food was a mashup of dried out pizzas, that looked like frisbees. The " Mexican " plater...well. the cook might want to visit a SoCal town. There' was some kind of salad, with limp vegies, dressing that tasted like the cook opened a pizza hut side of hot peppers, got oil, and put both as dressing. The best part was leaving. I have eaten in restaurants in Europe , that actually had a clue. It was full. So i gather not many who we're there, ever have eaten a small bite of Californian food. Stephan St. Claire

My favorite waitress is Kawena. She's upbeat, friendly, courteous and respectful. She engages in conversation and makes you feel like you've been friends for awhile. The food is good....my favorites are the spinach artichoke dip and mac n cheese bites. Oh and the bread is super good. Just make sure not to fill up on it or you won't have any room for the entree, let alone dessert. As for their drinks, my favorites are the sangria and strawberry margarita. Not too strong, with a hint of fruit.

Good food, good drinks. This place never disappoints, if you're after pizza or pasta look no further. This CPK is the busiest in the world, and they've expanded. We ordered a gluten free pizza and you wouldn't even be able to tell if it was or wasn't a gluten free crust. The drinks are always on point, as they have a full time bar staff.
