One word for Cafe Miro. Consistancy. Day in and day out, year over years, same great flavors, cooking with the heart, which makes it our to go place for special occasions.

Really solid classic French food! Perfect execution and balance of flavors. Good thing we made reservations bc we heard lady at the front desk on the phone having to turn people down. I came to this restaurant 8 years ago having eaten the best opakapaka in the world. It hasnt been on the menu since bc this fish has been overfished. I was still happy with our meal starting off with fresh made toasty bread roll, kona abalone, husband had ahi carpaccio under bed of beautiful organic mixed greens salad, yummy fall off the bone ribs cooked 3 ways, foie gras in truffle sauce and rib eye perfectly medium rare. Cheese soufflé cake kind of missed the acidity for the cheese for me but I still finished it all lol and everything was great on the assorted dessert platter from the creme brûlée so light and not overly sweetened with the freshly seared hard brûlée top and the chocolate banana mousse cake and the sorbet. Such harmony and balance of flavors. We were totally indulgent but it didn't feel super heavy surprisingly. The whole restaurant was packed of Japanese speaking customers last night(made us seem like the only fatties in there bc they were in such good shape yet they ate the same dishes we did!) I look forward to my next visit in a couple years hopefully when they have opakapaka back on the menu

Great service, good food. The course menus were great values and I really liked that you could choose any app and entree on the menu rather than a limited selection. There are some extra charges to the prix fixe price for the pricier menu items (like lamb, steak) but still a great value for a special occasion or date night.

Trendy restaurants nowadays have a tendency to change their menus constantly. Having today's special is very nice, but I like to find my favorites at places and Cafe Miro is such a reliable, consistent place that I hold dear.

We had our 20th anniversary dinner there and it exceeded our expectations. Gabriel started out as our waiter but they all worked as a team ensuring each guest was taken care of. My wife and I got the "plaisir" or "pleasure" which consisted of two appetizers, entree and dessert each. The food was amazing and you will not leave there hungry...we will be back for sure!

We went for Valentine's Day. There was a special menu. Everything was excellent. The food was delicious, and the service was great. As another noted, a cloth tablecloth would make the experience even better.
