Absolutely one of the best Italian restaurants I have eaten. The wife and I stopped in by chance on our vacation. After eating I changed our vacation plans so we could stop and eat there again. I went to the Excalibur location several years ago and was unimpressed, so I never bothered with Buca di Beppo after that. On a whim, I recently took my wife to the Lake Mead location for her birthday. This was a completely different experience. The food was incredible, very tasty and plentiful. If you are going to use a coupon for the birthday Brownie sundae, Make sure you have more than a couple people to help you eat it. Otherwise you won't be able to finish it. We are going to start making Buca di Beppo one of our regular places for dining out.

Wow.. the food was fantastic. I signed up for their customer reward on the website which they sent me 2 weeks before my birthday 20$ off any 40$ or more spent, also a coupon for a free birthday brownie desert that was the biggest most delicious treat I've ever encountered. Fun to come to the original Buca! It was more expensive than the one I went to in Milwaukee, which was surprising and put me off a bit. We got the Bianca pizza, which we love, and we did the one meant for 5 people, which was $30 ($40 after tax), and was split between 2 people. We finished half the pizza and took home half. Not sure it would truly feed 5 people unless they bought other stuff. Wish it were cheaper for the amount of food. Waitress was great though and the pizza was delicious :)

Service was awesome and staff are attentive and polite, they made us feel welcomed, food was just ok but what really was disgusting is the carpet throughout the restaurant, extremely dirty and gross which we had second thoughts about walking out of there and not getting sick. If that was the front of the house I can't imagine how it will be in the back of the house. Will not be back until they replace their flooring and the FOH throughly cleaned.

I was looking for somewhere to have a dinner for a bachelorette party for my sister, and I called two different Olive Gardens, both of which were pretty rude over the phone and would not give me a definitive answer as to whether or not they would have room for us at the time I was requesting. I then called Buca di Beppo and right away they were very friendly and made sure there would be space for us. Their food was amazing along with the excellent customer service! We also had to rush out to make our next event for the night, and they were very accommodating with bringing us the bill right away and packing up all of our leftovers quickly. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious food and wonderful service!

So overpriced and overrated! We went for my daughter's 9th birthday and turns out they don't cater to families anymore. They would not give her a birthday dessert because the e-mail club account was in my name and my birthday and therefore we didn't have an offer for it. So disappointing! The food is not that great and so expensive for what it is. Despite there being many open tables in multiple rooms when we were seated - we were sat right next to others, some that were drunk and cursing (at 5pm!). It was a bad experience all around.

I ordered the Small sized antipasto salad and the Small sized spaghetti marinara around 5pm. I was able to use the 20% off coupon from my email. Make sure you sign up for their mailing list as they send coupons pretty frequently. It only took them 20 minutes to make the order. Service was friendly. Packaging to go was excellent: nothing leaked and they were generous with plates and plastic silverware since I was staying at the Sheraton Suites nearby. Very generous portions: definitely can feed at least 2 people. Great flavors. Highly recommended!!

Bring the family, all of them. Food is served family style. Small dishes feed two or three, large 3 to 5 servings. The brownie with ice cream is huge, tiramisu serves 4 to 6 smallish slices. Ambiance is great, reserve the 'kitchen table' for up to 5 at the table to see how it runs behind the scenes. Staff is awesome and they spoil you for birthdays. Love this place!

I wish I could report a better trip. My husband loves the food here, so after receiving a coupon in my e-mail I thought I would pick something up from here for dinner and bring it home. We don't eat out a lot because we are trying to save money but wanted to make an exception to be nice to my husband. I ordered online while at the store. That was very convenient! I arrived at the restaurant just before my order was supposed to be completed. Two hostesses greeted me and said they would check on my order. I was glad I came in before the dinner rush. I waited patiently for 25 minutes, employees and, I assume a manager walking by me multiple times but not offering me any news on my order. Finally, I went up to hostesses and reminded them it was 25 minutes past my order pickup time and asked was everything was okay. They seemed surprised that I was still waiting (though I was sitting right in front of them) and contacted the "ToGo" hostess again. She came out right away and said she had no idea I had been there the whole time. By the time I got home the food was cold so it just wasn't a great meal.

This is a place with good service, fun for large groups as well as affordable. The food is moderately good to very good. The brussel sprouts are probably some of the better brussel sprout dishes I've had. It's a good chain restaurant, very good for large groups particularly students and other groups that do not require a highly refined palate but still enjoy good food. Also excellent for large families and young children and cheap wine, all of which seem to go better together for me.

I've eaten at hundreds of restaurants throughout the USA and it is rare that I rate less than a 2, review a chain, and leave disappointed all the way around. So it's my birthday recently and I thought we'd try something new that we pass frequently because I've been try to relax my rule about not reviewing chains. Unfortunately, nothing worked out. I had a birthday coupon, that I'm not even sure works. We arrived well before the dinner rush. We were greeted by..... nobody. You read that correctly, never greeted nor seated. We waited over 5 minutes and never heard or saw anyone. What we did have time to see was the sanitation score of 90.5. Those 2 issues were enough reason for us to pass. I will say we were looking forward to trying numerous things on the menu. I can't say that we'll go back because the least I would expect was to be seated or communicated with about the delay.

2 star Because- I felt the food was unnecessarily over priced. I cant say i care much about the “family style” portion. I rather have my family eating quality over quantity. No Bread for the table and you call yourself an Italian restaurant? Guess who got that covered? Olive garden!!! You would like some extra marinara sauce at an Italian restaurant? Too bad, It costs EXTRA The decor is certainly homely. The service is certainly a hell of lot better than the food. I hope they do a fee tweaks in the menu and i will certainly go back.

Buca di Beppo is a great restaurant to go have Italian food. I had their lasagna today it was very good. I celebrated my birthday at Buca di Beppo. If you do their eclub you could get a giant Sunday for your birthday every year. There's Sunday is called colossal brownie Sunday. Buca di Beppo is a very fun restaurant. The wait staff at Buca di Beppo is very good. The atmosphere at Buca di Beppo is very retro. They have all kinds of pictures all over their walls. When you go in there they take you down a hallway through the kitchen before you get into the dining room. There is also a table that you can reserve inside the kitchen also. I always feel like eating over at Buca di Beppo. I will always go back to this restaurant.

Went for dinner with our granddaughters. They had fettuccine alfredo. Both enjoyed immensely. Well priced for kids meal. My husband and I had the lasagna and salad. Their lasagna was delicious! The salad was good, though we wish their was more. Bread was hot and delicious. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. Our only downside was the price. We went away a bit hungry, so had more to eat when we got home. The adult meal is to feed 2-3 people. For the price, we figured we'd be full. The price is the only thing holding us back from trying again. If you have the money, by all means give them a try.

Had to revise my previous 5 star review. The Baked Ziti and Chicken Parmagiana is a family favourite, however, this last order of Ziti was THE WORST. It was so dry and had no rosa sauce!? My family (including children) were turned off. We also noticed that the chicken parm looked and tasted different than usual. After this experience, we will probably not return. One positive to mention- Aminata helped me with my takeout order and she was great!! Wish I could say the same for the food quality!

Came here with family for dinner one night. I, personally, didn't care for the food too much. The service was lackluster and, while I understand it's meant to share so portions are larger, it seemed like when they brought the food out, we were helplessly out of space on the table and all left having to eat awkwardly as we didn't have enough space. The service was great and the spaghetti was AWESOME! I don't like that the meals are all "family style." So you order a meal (huge portion of spaghetti about $35) from the menu and split it. If you go just be prepared for everyone to either (1) eat the same thing or (2) have enough leftovers to feed your hungry horse. Bad customer service ordering on phone. The person had no clue as to what I was trying to order...a pizza with meatball instead of pepperoni. When brought home, the pizza was covered with pepperoni, barely any meatballs. We requested extra sauce, but there was none added. We had a $10 off coupon with a $30 minimum order. The large pizza we ordered was $30. Therefore, it should have cost us $20. They charged us $30. My husband spoke to the manager, and he prepared another pizza to the specifications that we wanted. That was fine, but the ingredients were sub=par. We think that the cheeses on top were rancid. My son said that it smells like "vomit" which I agreed with. Now we have two pizzas that none of us want to eat.We will NEVER order from Buca di Beppo again!

Buca di Beppo is always a must stop when I'm in Washington DC. The staff is always welcoming and seeks to please their customers. The portions are very generous and we always have a take home box. Tonight we had chicken with a lemon butter sauce and capers, brussel sprouts with prosciutto, and a pasta dish with bacon, onions and their homemade sauce that was very good. Their dishes are available in two sizes - small (feeds 3) and large (feeds 5). If you're looking to feed a crowd, this is the place to go.

The food was good but when waiting for our meal we noticed how dirty the place was. Utensils that were previously dropped were under our table. The floor had so many crumbs and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. We were in the poster room and there were splatters on the wall art around us and none of the condiments were refilled that were on the table. Booth was in need of repair or replacement seats. Someone needs to look more closely around, especially from a customers point of view and take care of it! This falls back on the manager being more observant and making his employees more accountable. Deep cleaning is needed. Disappointed.

Sad,very sad experience that cost us over 110.00. Very expensive lesson. Was seated by the bar. Shaun was our server. He handed us the menus and sais what do you want? He stood there waiting. We ordered glass of water,appitizer and meal. Came back mins later,set down water,appitizer and said our meal was ready. Meal was served 15 mins later.....meanwhile no straws,no salads,no bread,no return service. While he worked 3-4 customers,large group of servers standing by the bar,measuring their hands. Very loud,laughing.jumping.etc. I wondered if the lady with them,who had a larger badge was a manager? To my dismay the worst part of the experience,besides the chicken dish having no taste and swimming in pesto and tomatoe sauce(disgusting)was watching the wait staff dig their bare hands into the ice bin that they also served to the customers in their glasses AND keep all the nasty orange,Apple,cranberry juice containers in,with no protection. I watched them shove containers back and forth.up on the bar.on the counter,back into the ice,then scoop that same ice into glasses for customers! We paid 110.00 for 2 chicken dishes,1 appetizer. No salad,bread or pasta at all.....just alot of nasty ice and not much service. In all honesty,our server had no idea if we were supposed to get anything else with oir meal. Expensive lesson learned. We Will not return. .

Our first time trying this restaurant was a complete bust. The portions are insanely small for how many people they say it feeds. The chicken was unbelievably dry, to the point where the plastic forks given were breaking trying to simply pick it up. There was a clump of garlic on multiple pieces of bread giving me a mouthful of garlic (and I love garlic, but not a mouthful of garlic with a side of soggy bread). Everything seemed as if it was heated up in a microwave before getting to us. The chicken was literally brown in spots. The bread was tough and you had to rip it hard just to get a piece. Overall, I stopped eating after a few bites, it was extremely disappointing and we had high hopes. Won’t be having my business ever again. For improvement, take some action or supervising on your after dinner shift, we did not order right before close, but it was at 8:20pm. I would have rather gone to canes and gotten better chicken than this place.

Food was delicious. The waiter was very attentive. It has an old fashioned Italian atmosphere that you can’t find many places. I walked by it many times over the years while in the plaza but finally decided to stop in. The place is way bigger than it looks! You should really go in and get experience the dining in person. It’s a great place for a date. However... the portions are way too big. If you order the “small” its for 3-4 people. I went on a date with my wife and we basically had to decide on the same dish and there was still a ton of food leftover. It won’t go to waste. It was very good but how about just letting people order what they want which would be enough for one person. The menu is very limiting in terms of portion and you can’t experience different dishes unless you are with a large group.

Good food but services was very slow and room was extremely warm tonight. Suspect our server was spread thin and this probably caused slow service. We never received grated cheese for the pasta, showed he was spread thin. Even though the rooms were below grade, air conditioning was unable to cool the place. Both of my visits to this restaurant we're separated by nearly a decade. However I can say that they were both very memorable and wonderful experiences. I think the ambition of the kitchen is to try to kill you with the quantity of food they provide. The deserts might make your eyes pop out of your head when you see the size of them! The environment of the restaurant is fantastic. Sort of a mix of over the top baroque Italian and down home flare if you're home town is Las Vegas Nevada.

We visited on a Sunday afternoon and shad made reservations but they definitely were not needed. The staff welcoming guests were stoic but the waitstaff were great. The calamari and mac and cheese bite appetizers were very good. We also had the shrimp fra diavlo which was spicy but delicious. Since we had a large group, we also had the Sunday special. The bread sticks, salad, sausage and meatballs were good but the rotini with marinara sauce was bland. The restaurant has a lot of atmosphere and the food all comes family style. We ended up taking home more than we ate but who can complain about that quality of leftovers!

Not the typical Buca... Has an entrance in an old building which is easy to miss if your not lookn. Wasnt overcrowded n i got a quiet table. My dinner was prepared n served at the speed of light! Buca is tailored to groups but you can order off the lunch menu if dining alone. Parking is a problem... Its very limited n street parking is not free so you may have to take a walk. One guarantee...... You will leave full and satisfied.

For the large group of 80 we had, this restaurant had incredible service, allowing us to get in, be seated, and get our food very smoothly. I personally was a fan of the "hands on" vibe, where the food was served in large portions for a group and we could eat at our own pace with an appropriate quantity for our liking. Regarding the food, it was good Italian cuisine and I have only good things to say about it. Would recommend if you're in the area and looking for a place to dine, whether in a small or large group setting.

That's the only thing that kind of throw the whole meal off is being pressured into something we already said we didnt want. So yea hope they change that process. Overall great services and food. We love dining at Buca Louisville. The service here is always excellent. Tonight we had Shirley, and in short she is a phenomenal server. Our cups were never empty, she anticipated our needs bringing us additional items and offering things seconds before we were about to ask for them. The meal was exceptional. Our food was served quickly and everything was delicious. The brussel sprouts in particular were delicious. The staff was friendly and gracious welcoming us as we came in. The manager, Suzannah, came and checked to make sure everything was up to our liking. To make this even better this was a celebration for my mother and she could not have been happier. We will definitely return.

It was not for me, but you may like it. I will ssy this upfront - this is not a (regular) restaurant, this is a catering company with a dine-in area. Going here is ... an adventure. Kitchy or kistch? It's definitely unique. To get to the dining area each guest is led through a labyrinth of hallways, into the kitchen where the food is being prepared, twists and turns that seem to double back on themselves, and most seats seem to be made up of smaller tables pushed together. Do not come alone (unless you intend to bring home leftovers for the week). Do not come if you are on a budget. Do not come if you are an introvert. Plan ahead if you have trouble reading fine tiny print in the dark, or if flashing lights bother you, or have other sensory triggers with lights or sounds. For your best experience, read as many reviews and look at customer photos as you can to piece together a better idea of what to expect, because once you step in the front door (for the first time) you are in over your head. ((I was told by family and friends that the manicotti was the best and food was so delicious; but to me it was disappointing. Chicken was pounded paper thin, no tomato sauce just chopped tomatoes, hardly any seasonings, the filling in the manicotti was liquid like it was cream or milk and not actual cheese, and it was all served to the table luke warm or cooled, nothing warm or hot. Every bite felt like it was missing a thing or two. )) Personally, I didn't like their food, was very rushed, had my plates taken away as I was taking a bite, twice, and wasn't able to wave down a waiter/waitress to put in a drink order. No one makes rounds and you are really boxed in, its one of the few times I've ever felt claustrophobic. Because I was with a group the owner? or head manager guy came by to peek at our progress or "check in". I want to say the employees were nice, just doing their jobs. I do hope others will know more of what to expect, and this may help you find the placevyou wsnt to be. As fo me, just thinking about it gives me anxiety. Not to mention half our group or more started having tummy aches by the time we got to our cars. (And that's all I'm going to say about that, because the ending is gross.) Visit date: March 22, 2019

This restaurant is well managed and well staffed. We had over 300 kids (reserved) and they were well prepared for our group. As soon as we walked in, every table was prepped with cups with ice, salads, and bread. Minutes after sitting down we were greated by the staff and they had our entire group fed within 30 minutes. The Manager then checked on the quality of our service as a true professional. I’m absolutely amazed at how well the food tasted and served in an expeditious manner. I’m almost certain there were no complains nor issues in our duration. I highly recommend large groups to plan to eat there, because you will in and out with a very satisfied group! Went there for pick up the other day for spaghetti and meatballs let me tell you don't ever let Gordan Ramsey taste test that food because this restaurant would receive a mouthful of disappointment. The meat balls were hard on outside pink on inside the noodles tasted old and the little sauce and tomato that was on it tasted out of a Can...I'm not exaggerating at all I'm a huge foodie and spaghetti is one of my very favorite dishes a 42 dollar meal for one and you dare mess spaghetti up that way? If you don't have love inside you or passion when you cook then why even do it and then sleep peacefully at night ....don't let someone from Italy taste that spaghetti either will never recommend this place, at least this location.. I've never tried food from the other one.

Nice menus prices were pretty expensive especially for a week day food arrived hot and appearance was nice. Ordered cheese garlic bread only got garlic. By the time they made fresh we were done eating. Everything had good flavor but Cheesy garlic bread was way too expensive for what we got. The Lasagna tasted good but just not worth $29.00 unfortunately being from Kalamazoo Michigan our opinion won't probably have much meaning, but we would not recommend this restaurant due to food for the money.

We are Buca di Beppo veterans, having visited three different locations, as well as visiting the NYC location as part of our family tradition during the Christmas season. We, along with the rest of our family, visited the NYC location yesterday. As usual, the food was exceptional. The service, not so great. Our waiter did his best, but was lacking. We had to wait a pretty long time for things like napkins, clean forks, and more water. I understand that the restaurant was busy, but it is always busy every time we visit. We were told that the coffee machine was broken, so we ordered espresso. The amount in the cup amounted to one gulp, and was served with not even a scrap of lemon. We also detected a lot of tension among the staff, particularly between bartenders and waitstaff. We heard conversations that patrons should not hear. You obviously had an off day yesterday...we all do from time to time. We won't let this experience keep us away in the future because we do enjoy the ambiance and food.

Even the bread came after 30 minute and bread tasted like a packaged kroger bread. The dip for bread was just the oil no seasoning at all. We had a brownie dessert it was huge but had no taste, ice cream itself tasted like a cheap store bought ice cream and brownies were so hard that you have to use real knife to cut them. Buca is one of my favorite “franchise style” Italian restaurant. This location is located on the third floor of the same building Planet Hollywood is located. Once the elevator door opens the environment of the old Italian decor makes you feel like you are going to a nice family Italian dinner. The food is really really good. We ordered the salad along with the large Prosciutto Stuffed Chicken and the Large Spaghetti with Meatballs (which the size and flavor of the meatballs is what they are known for). The meals are family style meals so it’s sharing portions. For example our Large Meatball meal easily served all five of us and about 1 pound of pasta was still remaining after we were full! The meal was terrific as well as the service we received. Overall this location is another must visit when in NYC.

It had been over 10 years since my husband and I had been to Buca di Beppo. The atmosphere was very different from what I remembered it. We were there for my husband's best friend's birthday. His wife and grown children were there also. Our reservation was at 6:00 p.m and we didn't leave until 7:45 p.m. Nothing negative had kept us there, it was that we were really enjoying ourselves. The service was awesome, the food was plentiful and delicious and the atmosphere was cheerful. Needless to say, we had a wonderful time! I can't believe we hadn't been there for over 10 years. Our table was sometimes too loud, mostly with jokes and laughter. But so were the other tables around us. This is a great place to have a large get together. Oh... The drinks were delicious too!

This is the worst Italian restaurant my husband and I have ever experienced. This is our first visiting Albuquerque and of course this restaurant. First of all the waitress takes long than normal to attend to us. It was 05/25/2019 approximately 9:30-10:00pm and there was only two other families there with a second waitress so it’s not like our waitress was the only one for all guests. She then said she was going to bring out bread and never got the bread. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs and my husband fettuccine Alfredo. My order, the spaghetti had no taste or more like it wasn’t cooked right. I asked for extra sauce and it still wasn’t good. The meatballs were burnt but looked like they were sitting out before we got there and then put into the microwave to reheat. I ordered our meal through Bite Squad to have delivered to the hospital where my daughter just had surgery. Her favorite meal ever is plain noodles and chicken. I ordered sauce on the side, but received noodles with butter or oil with a ton of garlic on it! She can't eat that and I found it to be gross. The sauce was good, but the noodles were so bad, they went into the garbage. I have been ordering it the same way for 19 years. So sad my daughter has to order noodles from the cafeteria after spending a ton of money...

The manager insisted on having one of his own employees (not an Amazon driver) deliver an entire new container of pasta to my house which arrived hot and tasty in just 20 minutes (From the downtown location!) Thanksgiving dinner was a bust. Our family was placed in a private room that opened into the kitchen. The noise was unnerving with all the orders being called out, clanging of pots and clinking of dishes. The meal was satisfactory, our server was attentive and personable and the manager greeted us and assisted in getting our table extra gravy. I personally felt the there was no time between the main course and dessert. I felt rushed. We couldn't have a decent conversation over the obnoxious noise from the kitchen. I will make sure that next time we visit, it will not be the room with the kitchen cut out. A nice piece of plexiglass is in order.

Went the other day with a large group in the afternoon. Apps were good and warm. Entrees were cold by the time we shared them amongst the group. Fettuccine had no flavour at all and wasn't creamy. I just didnt like that you have to order everything in 2 helpings or 5 helpings....I went with my husband and we wanted two different dishes, but they dont serve single dishes...so I had way too much food and so did he...I understand the "have for lunch the next day" idea but what if I dont want it for lunch or dinner the next day...I just think they should have a group side of the menu for larger crowds and a single side for people who come alone or as a couple...I wanted a dessert and all desserts were $15.00...the slice of cake was hugh...I ate off of it once, then I didnt want any more...so to me, it's a big waste of money if you dont come with a group

Our first visit here. Was unfamiliar with the family style service. We sat at the bar and our bartender Ashley, took her time with us knowing it was our first visit. She explained the single plate options as well as the build your own entree. The interior is eclectic and fun like a little Museum even in the restrooms. The interior is massive lots of nooks and crannies to sit in that offers privacy and coziness. Will accommodate small parties as well as large. Our food was delicious with big hunks of meat and vegetables definitely not on the skimpy side. We did the build your own pastas for $25 but got three huge servings from each.

I took my wife here. She and I enjoyed the decor - pictures of old Italian people, neighborhoods and actors. All the servings are for 3 or 5 people, to encourage sharing. Mostly young families - I had lots of fun watching the expressions when kids saw 1/2 lb meatballs on a mountain of spaghetti. The brownie ice cream sundae for 3 was a highlight.

The food here was excellent and there wasn’t even a very long queue even though I went at a busy time. If you’re going to this restaurant alone though, just keep in mind that all of the food is designed to be shared, meaning that the portions are quite big. Even if you share your food with one other person the portions are still massive. Inside the decor is quite nice and you can tell they put a lot of effort into it. The restaurant is hidden away and there are no windows so you can’t see what’s going on outside. It feels like you could be anywhere in the world, not in Times Square. But it’s still a great restaurant. I would definitely recommend it.

I really enjoyed the classic bolognaise pasta dish I got here. The service was also quite good. We had a tough party, and even though a mistake was made, it was rectified. I would recommend stopping in for lunch and doing some shopping downstairs afterwards.

My family has been going here for family get togethers for 15? 20? years - I don’t even know. A long time! And for what it is, it’s fine. The food is like the kind you’d get at a great banquet hall. It’s not FABULOUS but it’s never BAD. Still, the servers are almost always good, the location is convenient for all our family from all over Metro Detroit, there are enough options on the menu for everyone of all different needs / wants and the atmosphere is kitschy-yet fun. Always gives us something to talk about. We will likely keep coming back.

They show you the kitchen, some history behind the restaurant.. there's a table in the kitchen I think if I'm not mistaken, you get to eat with the owner or the chef..When they give you your pasta, not much flavor to it, but not bad either. There's also this HUGE ice cream sundae in a huge martini glass, you'll need help to eat it. Lol

From Kalamazoo and were on the east side of the state to go to the IKEA store and we're thrilled to include dinner at Buca as part of our trip. We have been dining at Buca for a decade, mostly in the Chicago area when we're there, but we've been to the Livonia location before also. I have a garlic allergy and Buca is always accommodating in finding entrees I can have with substitutions. Last week, we had a great waiter (Andy) who was very personable and had a nice chat with the manager (Javier) who was very helpful with the garlic allergy issue. As always, the food is worth the trip. Wish we had a Buca closer to Kalamazoo, but we'll always find a reason to drive to the eastern side of Michigan or to the Chicago area when we need a fix!

I've been here a few times. Financially, a few times a year is enough. Of course the dishes they serve are in "family" portions. Everything you order (2 sizes i think) is designed to feed 2-3 or 4-5. What I'm saying is the prices make sense. The atmosphere is great. The restaurant is sprawling. Much larger than you think. You get a feeling there is a lot of history there. I'm not talking about the things on the walls. I'm saying you get a feeling that if the walls could talk they would have a lot to say. Very cool place.

Buca di Beppo was a great restaurant with very fast service. The food was very delicious after a long day. The waitresses and waiters were very nice and welcoming! The aesthetic of the place was very cool too with a lot of pictures on the walls. The tables were very large and were able to fit many people. The way you enter the restaurant is very cool since you get to walk past the chefs and the kitchen. The portion sizes are more than enough which is great since you will have leftovers for the next day. I would definitely come again.

I would definitely increase my rating if the prices weren't so steep. My husband and I ordered "small" servings of Caesar salad, regular garlic bread, and chicken rigatoni. We each also ordered a soft drink. Our total bill was $76. The food is "family style" and you definitely will walk out with leftovers if you have a party of 2. The chicken rigatoni was delicious, the garlic bread was good, and the salad was pretty average. The salad appears to be pre-made, to the point that it is mixed with the dressing as the lettuce was pretty wilted in certain parts. The service was good. Unfortunately the cost of the food does not match the experience. Our server also made it a point to inform us that we cannot use gift cards in conjunction with any coupons. I've NEVER come across any policy like this before. Because gift cards are typically purchased at a discount (as seen in Costco, etc), to restrict the use of coupons really emphasizes the (over)pricing.

We were pleasantly surprised with this location. The 4 of us have been to other locations, and all remarked how well done this one is. The atmosphere here was very good. Everyone did a great job at making us feel very welcome. Feeling welcome is always nice. As is known, portion sizes are huge - like feed a family of four huge. We over ordered, but that being said, had leftovers for days.The standout? The BRUSCHETTA! Superb! Seriously. Meatballs were good as well. Service was not pushy and attentive enough to not feel neglected. All in all, I highly recommend this location.

After a days meetings, the team chose this venue to eat. Its in the basement of an old building, walls are filled with relics and pics. This place is like a maze, i believe it has more than 12 dining sections. While seated I was thinking about fire escape route. We ordered lasagna, it was well cooked, the edges were hard and it was dry. Its dark and dingy eating venue. I didn't enjoy food, service or venue.

I couldn't eat here on a regular basis - my health and bank account couldn't handle it - but it truly is a special experience for once in awhile. First, the space itself is so unique. It's pretty much a maze under the plaza. You have to actually walk through the kitchen to get to the dining room and the kitchen is impressively clean. Impeccable. We ordered the caesar salad, tomato basil soup, and appetizer trio. Between two of us, this was a massive undertaking. Everything was delicious, but I'd skip the spinach artichoke dip next time; it was kind of bland. The fried mac & cheese is a new favorite though. Great atmosphere, solid service, all around a very enjoyable evening.

It was our first time there tonight. It would be helpful if the waitstaff explained how the menu worked. For dinner you cannot order your own entree, you must share. For our family of three we wanted separate foods but you have to order the same food. One small entree serves three. Luckily we asked before our order was put in otherwise waitstaff would not have mentioned. It would have also racked a huge bill had we not noticed. My spaghetti is better.

Their regular menu is okay. The decor is really something. However, their Thanksgiving feast was garbo. Only white meat turkey, green beans that were basically raw, and stuffing that was closer to slightly damp croutons. If you're having dinner with family, possibly consider coming here. I was hesitant to bring my family here after reading up on some of the reviews. Finally decided to stop in after a long day of travel (7/19). Our server Tomas was amazing! He was tremendously kind to my grandchildren, my wife and I. We were all tired from being on the road and we may have seemed upset and rude, but he kept a smile on his face the entire time. He made us laugh and assured we enjoyed our experience here. Unfortunately, he had a table with no manners and were outright disgusting and rude to him, the manager and tables around them. Tomas handled the situation well and to the best of his ability. I was surprised to see him being just as kind to them even though they were very rude to him. If I lived in town, I would be offering this young man a position in my business! Good food, GREAT SERVICE!! Thank you Tomas for the amazing service and for making our vacation that much better!

I was very disappointed with customer service. We had called ahead and reserved a table to celebrate my 30th birthday. When. We arrived we had to wait 30 minutes then we were seated at a table that could hardly set 2 plates on. We were up against a wall that our shoulders were touching the wall. It was very uncomfortable. We asked to be seated at the different table. We were told all the empty tables were for reservations. I told them we had a reservation the waiter left to talk with staff. The food was great. I have been here a few times and it always is good service and food. It is fairly dark in the restaurant but that is part of their atmosphere. They always take new people on a short tour of the facilities on the way to their table. The place is very large and you could easily get lost in it if it weren't for the helpful staff. If you've not been to one the chain locations, it's a great place for a large group or a family that knows everyone wants the same thing since everything is served family style in sizes that feed 3 or 5. I suppose it's also a good choice if you are prepared to take home a lot of leftovers. The group I was with had a great meal after a team building event at the nearby Columbus Escape Room.

Our server was not on point and we had to ask for little things like straws for our drinks and oil for the the bread. Even the food was not prepared as well as what we have come to appreciate. Over all we guess it was a off night for Buca, but we will come back because we love it here. I'm looking forward to a more positive post at our next visit.

After a days meetings, the team chose this venue to eat. Its in the basement of an old building, walls are filled with relics and pics. This place is like a maze, i believe it has more than 12 dining sections. While seated I was thinking about fire escape route. We ordered lasagna, it was well cooked, the edges were hard and it was dry. Its dark and dingy eating venue. I didn't enjoy food, service or venue.

We went to celebrate mine and mother's birthday. It was me, mother, my sister and neice. My niece had placed reservation a reservation for 6:30 P.M When we arrived a young lady in the front had notified us that we would have to wait five mintues. That five minutes turned into 30. The excuse she had given us was that there was a large group and that they were waiting for them to leave so that they can clear the tables and have us seated, but there was a couple who just walked in and gave their name under which the reservation was and were taken the back of the dining room. We weren't the only ones turned down as their were various couples or groups coming in and being told they had to make reservations or that their were no tables ready. Rest assured we waited patiently to see as we've noticed such a disastrous spectacle. The first young lady who had given us the 5 minute guarantee was no where to be found, while another young lady appeared with a jacket on top of her uniform and an Apple Airbud dangling off on of her ears. We asked her about our wait time and she was quiet rude and quickly displayed an attitude. Finally the first girl came after half an hour and told us to follow her. We had sat down and our server (Hiwi) who we will never forget. She smiled, greeted us and quickly took our orders. Hiwi was very professional, courteous and went above and beyond. Hiwi did a fantastic job, but it doesn't take away from those two young ladies working in the front. They were very rude and unprofessional. Those two need to be reprimanded!

If you are looking for authentic Italian food, this place is not the best choice. We started with a Caesar Salad. It looked like a real Caesar salad with grated cheese and croutons, but the dressing was just creamy Italian; not the classic Caesar dressing that you would expect at any other restaurant. I was craving a meatball sandwich and this one, claiming to be a half pound of meatball sounded really good on the menu. At any Italian restaurant I have ever been to, a meatball sandwich is a crispy baked Italian roll stuffed with melted cheese, sauce and meatballs. Unfortunately, my meatball sandwich was a hamburger bun with a flattened meatball and some mozzarella cheese. No sauce, no Italian roll. Make sure you look at the pictures, you will not believe it. Completely flavorless, you can see I had to put ketchup on a $12 meatball sandwich. The Chicken Limone was served lukewarm and was also completely flavorless. It really looked and tasted like those boil in bag meals you used to have when you were a kid. The only part of the meal that we could say was good, was the colossal brownie sundae. The ice cream was creamy, and the brownies had chocolate chips rather than nuts in them. It could easily feed four people and was worth the $15 price of it. Again look at the pictures to see the scale of the thing. It had a lot of crazy pictures and stuff on the walls but this place only wishes it could be Shenanigans.

It was our first time ever visiting a Buca and we had a great time overall! The waitstaff was very upbeat and attentive, and the atmosphere was fun yet very chill and casual. We ordered the appetizer trio with calamari, fried mac and cheese and fried mozzarella and it tasted fantastic. The cheesy garlic bread had way too much garlic for our liking, though, and we weren't able to eat more than 1 piece each so that felt like a waste. We ordered the quattro al forno as our main course, and it was overall pretty good. We would definitely come back, but we would change our order for next time.

TLDR; Do NOT go here, especially on a date! Save yourself some money by going to the store and buying 2 cans of Spaghetti O's and a pack of frozen Texas toast, then eat it in your own basement for a better dining experience. For context, my family takes pride in their Italian heritage and I've been to a lot of Italian restaurants in my time. I have heard good things about Buca di Beppo restaurant--namely their "Italian grandmother's basement extended family dinner style" and had reasonably high expectations because Italian grandmothers, especially those who have restaurants inspired by them, make good food right? WRONG. I went here on a date with my girlfriend this week and got the classic spaghetti and meatballs with cheesy garlic bread to start. Their portions come in one of two sizes, the smallest of which feed 3 people. So right off the bat, if you're coming here on a date, you're paying for an extra 3rd plate whether you like it or not. I knew this ahead of time and heard it was a good place, so I didn't mind spending a little extra per plate just to experience the restaurant and have the great tasting, home style cooking they have there. The only problem was, THERE WASN'T ANY GREAT TASTING, HOME STYLE COOKING. The spaghetti and meatballs were the worst I've ever had at a restaurant before. The meatballs had some bland, cheap, a little repulsive flavor, and together with the spaghetti sauce, it tasted oddly similar to canned Spaghetti O's. It didn't help that the waiter was a little odd and a waitress was asking him "Who decided to put carpet on the floor of a restaurant? Red Robin doesn't even have this much of their floor carpeted." while she was bent over scrubbing the floor. What? All that is to say, the service and ambiance didn't make up for the poor food quality. Pros: - Great location - Good theme idea - Memorable decorations Cons: - Relatively expensive, especially compared to quality - Cheap tasting, unseasoned food - Inconsistent service based on what I've read from other reviews and my own experience Conclusion: - Would NOT recommend for anyone with a wallet or functioning taste buds

Rude service, they ignore you in big groups. The food is good, but greasy. There are no accommodations for anyone wanting one serving. They force you to pay tip, and it is quite expensive. Unless you are planning to pay a lot, and get a little, then you shouldn’t come here. Inappropriate imagery in the restrooms. If I could give 0 stars, I would. On the walls, if in a corner, dust falls off and gets on your clothes. Very easy to get turned around and lose your spot. Dirty cutlery. Just an overall, horrible place. Pictures in the bathroom provide unhealthy, sexist content telling young girls how they should look and act to be a “perfect” wife.

Went to redeem the birthday offer for a free colossal brownie sundae. Went with only my daughter. The sundae was delicious. Needless to say we weren’t able to finish the huge brownie sundae, we should’ve brought the whole family with us lol. Was hesitant to go at first since we weren’t planning on ordering anything else and some places service sucks when they find out you’re just there for the free stuff but not here. Our server was nice as normal.

Food was average. Service was good. It was even more economical than we expected with two of us leaving full with a $23 bill. We made reservations for 8:30 pm,and we only had to wait about five minutes to be seated. The staff was friendly, the food came quickly, and the restrooms were clean. All this combined with a fun authentic Italian atmosphere is the reason I easily gave it a 4 star...... No doubt I'll eat there again in the future.

Fun place to go with friends, because they serve everything family style. Service is also very good. I enjoyed their Apple Gorgonzola salad, and their fettuccine Alfredo. I also got to try their chicken carbonara (not bad, but I've had better) and their cheese stuffed pastas (also okay). This place isn't my favorite Italian restaurant by far, but the food is pretty good and the restaurant ambience is unique.

Love coming to this restaurant! The environment is a clean, comfortable, and beautiful area. The food is always delicious and filling! My daughter tried spaghetti here for the first time, and she loved it! (Shes a picky eater!) Their customer service is always the best! I love coming here and chatting with the waitresses and waiters. I don't do reviews, unless I feel like it's necessary to give a business props. This is definitely one of them.

The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because of the portions... way to expensive appetizers like the artichoke dip, what a joke! $40 for chicken lemone that is only 5 small portion of chicken... not what is use to be... The service was great!!!

Been here many times and it is a favorite of ours. This time we tried the meatball appetizer that is smothered with sauce and served with bread, and it was amazing. I've never had meatballs that were so tender. Seems as if they use a really good cut of meat to make them. Fun place to go for date night or with a large group. However, make sure you make a reservation to ensure you get a table.

If I could put no stars I would. The waiter dropped food on me 3 times. One of them a knife was dropped. The food is not amazing and tastes cheap. The vibe is pretty cool tho I like seeing the pope while I eat. Half the lights don’t even work and I feel like they are just putting pictures of Italian things to make the restaurant better but the food still sucks. FYI fire Max he was my waiter and he sucks at his job I demand he be terminated from his position. It is so hot down there that it feels like I’m sitting in the earths core. If Gordon Ramsey had an episode of hell’s kitchen Everything would be yeeted out of the kitchen due to the rawness and lack of seasoning on everything. It feels like a rat infested hell whole down there I’m pretty sure the ceiling is rooting away. And what Italian restaurant doesn’t serve complementary mints. The food was terrible there was a gallon of noodles and only one cup of sauce. My nut has more color than what ever the hell they tried so serve me as fettuccine sauce.

Make sure you have a nice size group, and a very healthy appetite. Portion sizes are very very generous here. But you won't be disappointed, this was our first time, going here. We loved everything about the place, from the Homey decor, to the very friendly, and funny stuff . Finally to the delicious home made Italian food. I highly recommend this restaurant.

My other friends ordered salad and the house specialty spicy chicken pasta and they were also delicious. It's a family friendly place and our server Anthony was excellent. Will go back.

My family came here to celebrate our littles birthdays and we had an extraordinary time! The manager Suzannah was super helpful throughout the night and our waitress Shirley was very attentive and was the best server I have ever had! I would definitely recommend this place and will be going again! Oh, and the food was bomb.

It was amazing, me and my family celebrated 2 graduations and my birthday plus we we're treated like royalty. The food was great but there was a lot and when I say a lot and I'm not exaggerating when I say the larges are HUGE!! The lasagna had so much cheese I personally did not love it, but it was delicious overall. I HUGELY recommend that if you are celebrating something huge do it at Buca di Beppo. They have their own happy birthday song.

We have been to many of your restaurants and we love them. The food was great, the service was great..the only disappointment was that it was my husband’s birthday, he chose this place as he so wanted the giant ice cream sundae. Unfortunately, it came in a giant bowl instead of the lovely martini glass. He was very disappointed. When we asked why, we were told that they were out of them. Always love the food here. Especially the shrimp fra diavolo or the spicy chicken rigatoni. Also a huge fan of the Italian broccoli romano and the green beans. Also, when my family of 10 came in randomly on a Sunday night, we were originally told the wait would be around half an hour but the manager worked his magic to get us seated within 10 minutes. Very friendly waitress as well. Wish I could remember her name! Overall, a very good experience here as usual.

Best. Thanksgiving. Catering. Ever. Seriously Thank You. All our plans changed, and we ended up having an impromptu Thanksgiving party at our house. Could not have done it without Buca, food was f*n great and we had leftovers for days. For the price, I'll probably just order it again next year.

We attended a wedding rehearsal dinner, May 23rd ,. Just have to compliment the staff and the kitchen for amazing food and service. I think there was about 60 of us and it ran so smoothly. What a perfect place to spend Christmas with a good friend. The food was absolutely perfect we had lasagna with garlic bread. The staff was in tune with the crowd a steeple there for Christmas. The environment at buccas is top-shelf, not white tablecloths, but as fine a dining experience as you can get.

Went there with a group of 7 at 7pm on a Saturday. Reservation was made two weeks in advance because we knew they'd be busy and we had a large group. Around 7:30 they finally called us and tried to take our group to a table for 6 and stick someone on the end in the aisle. None of us were happy and eventually management came and asked us to wait a few more minutes and they'd have an appropriately sized table for us. Once we were finally seated the service and food were great. I particularly liked the garlic bread and the chopped antipasti salad. Their red sangria was good as well, though not the best I've had. The family style dining was fun with a group and I think that's probably the best way to enjoy their food. Portion sizes are pretty accurate so don't go crazy!

This is the best Italian restaurant I've ever been to. The service is amazing as well as the food and you get your money's worth when it comes to the food. The portions are typically are big for the price. We had dinner for two and got full off of a small pizza and mozzarella sticks. Our server Daniel was amazing. Terrible! The food is so bland! It had absolutely no taste whatsoever! I ordered the linguine frutti di mare, Don't do it. I've been craving this dish for so long and Buca ruined it. But on the other note Christy the bartender executed 5 star service she also let me use her cheaters to read the menu that had a cursing font on it the size of 3. The place is full of nostalgic pictures. The atmosphere is family friendly. The wait staff and hostess are friendly. This would all be 5 'stars. Now the bad... 2 stars The entire menu is based on everyone sharing the dishes of food. This makes it difficult to order for a party of two as everything serves 3 or 5. You can't get a side salad unless you order for 3 to share. There is no bread unless you order it for $. Nothing on menu is a la carte.... Not even a side of spaghetti. Everything that we ordered was lukewarm at best even the salad. It took a long time to get the salad. Our food arrived two minutes after the salad. Lots of pasta but minimal add ingredients like shrimp, chicken, and veggies. The food did not taste bad just very disappointing.

Came here sunday to eat. Party of three which was perfect for the small portions. The chicken carbonara was really good with the proscuitto chicken. There was a table talking to the manager havier i believe his name was and were just not having it. He handled it best he could but there was no pleasing them. Worst experience ever at Buca! We had reservations at 7:30. Finally we were seated at 20 after 8. Waitress was 20 minutes getting to our table. Food took WAY too long to get to us. We spent well over $300. Verrrry disappointed...Do NOT recommend going there. Food WAS GREAT ... BUT not worth the hassle....

14 neighbors shared the Popes Table. The round table that accommodates 16 had a lazy Susan in the middle of the table making it easy to share food. The meal was very good and the server was very accommodating. We would recommend Buco for its service, food and ambiance.

had to wait 55 minutes for the food. Our table of seven were given a single jug of pepsi to drink during that time and we had to request more 3 times and wait a total of 65 minutes to get more. We were part of a very big group but they were notified beforehand and some tables got better service. The chicken had real salty spots in it. Everything except for the pasta was a disappointment.
