Not sure why everyone is giving this place such bad reviews, my wife and I had a wonderful dinner here. I had the fillet mignon and it was cooked perfectly. Our waitress was very nice and quick. And the prices are not bad at all considering the location. If you wanted insanely fancy you shouldn't have stayed at a DOD owned property!

The food has been great. The fried calamari is ok. Dragon wings is not spicy as it sounds, and on the second visit, mine was salty. Had 18oz Ribeye steak on both visits and it was great!

The burger was excellent, bread sticks sucked, lettuce wraps needs more slices of romaine (prepare for messy hands since you are tasked with assembling them). Service was quick. Fantastic ambiance eating outside, welcome to Hawaii!

This was the first restaurant we ate at on our visit to Hawaii. We enjoyed everything well enough, however, I have to say it was overpriced for what we got. I got a shrimp bowl and the quality of the shrimp was amazing with a sweet chili sauce that really added itself well to the bowl. My wife got the Lokomoko and she enjoyed it as well. We also got the crab cakes as an appetizer and they were very good, albeit a little small. Lastly, we got the mud pie for dessert and it was pulled straight from the freezer so it was hard as a rock, I wouldn't suggest getting dessert here if this is how they present them. Overall, we were satisfied with our dining experience here and I'm sure you will be too.

Service was very slow. My husband got a burger which was delicious and I got the guava roast chicken which was also good, but it is definitely sweet. The ambiance and food were fine, but having to wait at least 10 minutes for server to come to our table after being seated, and then did not check on us once during our meal. We had to wait a while to get our card back after paying also, and this was during a slow time with many open tables. I also had ordered the drink that was supposed to come in the souvenir cup and they served me in a regular glass. Convienent location and we enjoyed the outside seating.

We had 9 in our party. Everyone ordered something different, and EVERYONE was happy with what they ordered!!! The drinks were awesome too. The favorites on the table were the Lava Flow, Pink Dimple, and the one in the souvenir coconut! Will go back.

We ordered a kids spaghetti and a margherita flatbread to go. My son’s spaghetti was good. It was hot and he loved it. The flatbread was cold and didn’t have any basil on it. We ordered it a few days ago, and I remember being disappointed there was no basil and I figured it must’ve not come with it, but looking over the menu again, I realized they just never put it on. The lady working that night also wasn’t very pleasant to my husband when he was paying for our food. We are staying here for at least 30 days, so we are definitely disappointed we had a poor experience.

Venue is nice. If you're staying at hale Koa, this is a decent place to eat. If you have time, venture out into town. The food was priced high for the quality and some portions left a lot to be desired. Do not order the bread sticks. They are small and the description is much more pleasant than the actual taste. Overall, this restaurant was on par with a chain restaurant such as TGI Friday's or Applebee's, and the prices just didn't justify this. Outdoor seeing is nice, but not worth the price. There is no view of the ocean, you're gonna be looking at the hale Koa.

I have worked In the restaurant industury for 10 years..food was cold and disgusting..service never offered another round of drinks.. do not go... fast food would have been better at same price we paid for upscale. Also I left a bad tip for bad service.. never got offered a second drink or never got explained kitchen was out of certain specials.. I am done could go on... place ducks dont waste your money..

I come to this place every time I come to Hawaii, whether I stay at to he Hale Koa or not. Service, food, prices and atmosphere are great. Only, and I have eaten here many times, was Valentine's Day of 2017. The place was mobbed and the food was off. Otherwise this is a hidden gem.

Locatesd in the bar section where there are TV screens showing sports. The scene was populated by couples and families. Overall service was attentive and friendly in the Aloha way! Drinks were good. Some of the other establishments have weak pours when it comes to alcohol but Bibas was generous. Only downer was the wings were a little salty.

The family and I all enjoyed Bibas greatly. The service was fantastic, with great attitudes from both our server and from the cook that I had a short chat with as he was coming of break. The food was outstanding! We all were well impressed by or meals: Pasta Alfredo with a local twist impressed a couple kids who are usually critical of trying new things, and we all thought the Kalua Pork Quesadilla and Ribeye Steak were done just right. The only critique we had from the entire visit was that the host who greeted us when we first arrived lacked any enthusiasm or pleasant presence. Thankfully, by the end of the meal, her intro was all but forgotten. Highly recommend returning.

Ate at the bar for dinner. The food is usually good but this time it was ok. The hamburger and fries were warm not hot. Ahi was not that great. Drinks were good. Bar tender was wonderful!

One plate was disliked, they replaced it with a new order but then charged us for both plates. We asked for the manager and he argued in front of our table saying there was nothing wrong with it! We heard the waitress making comments to the cooks about our table. We were really embarrassed in front of our guests. I guess We should have paid for an order we didn’t eat? Bottom line is.. the manager should have tried to make his guests as happy as they can be??

Way over priced for mediocre food. The flat bread was really plain and BBQ chicken tasted like any other BBQ chicken but for double the price you'd expect. The waiter wasn't very attentive and lots of tables didn't get bussed for 30 minutes or more.

I can only comment on the pizza. The pizza was $15 for a personal pizza and was a frozen pizza that they added the toppings to. There was hardly any sauce on the pizza so I asked for more. It took 15 minutes for it to come. I think they had to unthaw it since they serve it with garlic knots and not pizza. Not worth the money for a “nice restaurant.” Total rip off.

Great laid-back restaurant located at the Hale Koa Hotel. Service is good and Happy Hour drink prices are cheap. Really convenient place to have some lunch and have a beer if you're at the hotel or nearby. At least one person in your party needs to be affiliated with the DoD to eat/drink here (see eligibility requirements on the Hale Koa Hotel website).

Food was actually good. Problem was the service. We asked our waiter for straws that were in his apron and the guy got loud and smart "sir I will be right with you" 10 minutes later we get our straws. Then the guy never came back another 2 waiters came to bring our food. We waited 20 more minutes for a check! NOT EVER COMING BACK HERE! Thanks guys!

Last night unfortunately not so good. I had the surfer boy fish tacos. I had them before and they were light and tasty. Last night, other than too fishy they had no taste. Our waitress seemed stressed and was not very friendly. For the amount of money we paid it was not a great experience. To be fair it may have just been a bad night. I have eaten there before and the food was great and service commendable.
