Delightful Happy Hour with delicious food and breathtaking views.

Recently went here to shoot a wedding, and I must say the staff here are pretty "mean" like in a bad way. I wasn't necessarily shooting the wedding, rather I was grabbing cards for a same-day-edit later in the evening. I placed myself outside so that I wouldn't take up some seating. I sat outside by the elevators - - where I was then asked to sit behind a current instead (because I guess, I was in the way?) - - after sitting behind a current for about 4 mins, a staff member told me to smile as their "Japanese guests" walked by. I understand that this is a business, but c'mon I'm a guest too! I didn't feel welcomed despite all the "fake" smiles I received. Last time I was here - - was when it was strictly a restaurant . Now I have no urge to come back or even recommend this spot as a wedding venue. The staff here are just straight rude.

Paul Tamashiro

Very nice ambiance, there was a lot of people wating there. The food was great I had the scallop dish and it was awesome. The dessert menu was extensive as well. The views during the day especially like a sunny day like today makes you want to go outside and into the water. There was several weddings going on there. You should go there..I've been there on a Friday night to view the fireworks, very nice. Make your reservations early and get a window seat. They do have outdoor seating as well. Go and enjoy!!

Scott J

6 Stars. This place is amazing. Views are hard to beat, the staff was super friendly and professional, and every piece of food was great. Great birthday cake for my wife's birthday too.

Matt Alonzo

Always a great experience. Great place for happy hour as well!

Thaylita Byrd

Love this place. Beautiful, romantic, live music, good food, and a strong seafood menu.

Jan West

Crab was not fresh. Yuck. Overpriced and small portions. Creamy horseradish was raw, not creamy. Only one type of bread, not great tasting. Inexperienced staff. Much ado about nothing special. Two small meals, two courses, no dessert, $350. Not going back.

Gil Mariano

The view is awesome but food and service, not so much. I wouldn't recommend this place.

뭐하뤄

Perfect view, nice dishes, kind people.

David Seo

Fancy. Overall the food was of high quality and craftly prepared. Only complaint is that my filet came to me more medium than a medium rare. Most likely an isolated case but for the cost you expect perfection.

.

Oyster is very good!

neil cabael

Its great for photos. Wine selection. Food. All standard. But again great view.

Dan Newt

Good food but pricey

Kyle Hasegawa

Got the $100 "taster course". I was warned that the monchong was a firm fish but went with it anyway. In hindsight I should have picked something else. Service was hit-and-miss with some staff being very friendly, professional and accommodating and others in need of improvement.

Leah Mills

Very healthy, sustainable food prepared by world class chefs. Spectacular view, of course, too!

Michelle Meyers

Great views with amazing service and superb food!! Expensive but well worth it!

Lee Gordon

Dinner for seven...food and service fantastic for all in attendance. I especially enjoyed the scallops.

Erika S.

Amazing place with a great view and a classy atmosphere. The staff was efficient and pleasant and the food was delicious. I also have to say for fine dining the prices were very reasonable. A great place for an evening out!

Rose Delo

Stunning Views, Delicious Food, Nice Atmosphere

Dimah M

That’s a wonderful place! The food is amazing, the service is great! The views are incredible especially during sunset! I also like the historical building where the restaurant is situated! It’s so unusual to see such king of building in Hawaii. A very classical and European style building. So I totally recommend you to visit this restaurant!

Jamie Valdez

this place has ono food, gorgeous views, and a hot n friendly staff haha

Cherelle Colotario

Awesome staff was very accommodating with our party of 11...which included 2 under 2...awesome food selection...my daughter shared with our server, it was the best spaghetti EVER!!!

Sandra Meyer

Great view. Loved the decor and the way the food was presented.

Lynnkoy

Just went for happy hour!! Awesome service!

Jan EDGE

For classic fine dining in Kaka'ako, Honolulu. We tried the degustation menu and probably shouldn't have had breakfast! Lovely ambiance, views, and would have a front row seat to Friday night fireworks.

Damon McLaughlin

Food is good but no Wow factor to make it memorable. Great view of Diamond Head though!

Brian Tabuso

We go here almost at least once a year and every year, it never disappoints. The food is always delicious and the service is always superb.

Maggie Lacho

Very romantic and awesome food! Perfect for a special occasion.

Michael L

We celebrated our honeymoon dinner here. It was a great experience starting with the warm welcome from the front end staff and the valet. Our server was phenomenal at suggesting and recommending his favorite dishes on the menu. He also went the extra mile and had a small cake/dessert prepared for us! Thank you to the staff at 53 by the Sea for a magical evening!

Lance Padden

A last minute thought to go before sunset... very pleased and happy. I was in shorts, tshirt and flip- flops.

Isabella M.

It was beautiful. The service was ok to good. The food was the most important part. The food was amazing. It was the most flavorful food I have ever had. The food was so good I don't even have words for it. Just AMAZING!!!!

Wonderful restaurant for fine dining

Tuan Tran

Driving up to the restaurant, it looked a little sketch at first, then this little gem of a mansion looking restaurant appears. The ambiance, decor, staff, and food is top notch and luxurious. Lobster roll was to die for and the cocktails were delicious. They even went above and beyond when they found out my and my fiance was just newly engaged. This was a perfect spot for our last meal in Hawaii and will hold a special place in out hearts. With the view of the ocean to the romantic setting, we could not have asked for any more. Great job 53 By The Sea!

Seoungmin Cho

Great view. Excellent food, especially you must taste wasabi sauce for steak. Staff are very friendly, too.

Dominie Nirona

My birthday dinner with friends, we all enjoyed the delicious food, good dessert and amazing view. The food and service were all great, it's definitely a highly recommend place for fine dining.

Marlon Delabanque

Food was amazing. The decor was to die for. Everything was well price.

Carlyle Handley

Elegant setting with classy service from a premier venue. Experience history or make your own at this beautiful and romantic spot away from the hustle and bustle common in the area. Fantastic Happy Hour menu.

Caleb Ingels

The most professional wait staff I've ever been served by. Great views and delicious food. Very classy.

MR latina

The main course was cold,.we sent back and return hot, however, took away from the.Valentine celebration and the manager never came to.see.us to apologize or.follow.up and the.waitress sound like.robot, for.a.hight scale restaurant they need more customers service skills, i.do not.plan to.come.back or recommend for.dinner,.maybe lunch

Tigger 2iron

Loved it. Scallops and seafood salad a smashing success.

Cyd Kamakea

Buz Vasper

Christopher M Yasuma

I went to the restaurant when it first opened and it was mediocre. However, I went recently and noticed that the food and service of the restaurant has improved significantly. The views are breathtaking as well too. You can see the ocean and Diamond Head during the day. I would highly recommend.

Jackie Cabebe

What a beautiful view & atmosphere! Highly recommend it

Next Genmv

Amazing ambiance for romantic encounters or for formal dinners this place will not disappoint. Whether it's for sunset or late night this place will leave an awesome impression.

Giles Lovejoy

Slight wait beyond reservation time for our requested window seating. View out over harbor and seaside was worth the wait. Service was impeccable and the food was incredible. Our burrata salad was crisp fresh greens with mild onion additions, orange slices for a wonderful citrus addition with a light but flavorful dressing. Our entree of risotto coquette was crisp and full of the creamy flavor of risotto. My surf and turf had a filet perfectly cooked, full flavored and not over-seasoned, and oh so tender. The lobster and accompanying garlic butter were exactly what you’d expect of good lobster. We were attended to with absolute courtesy and attention to our needs, promptness, and appreciation for our presence. The atmosphere was quietly comforting, easily allowing for intimate conversation. Not inexpensive but well worth it.

al hirata

EXCELLENT as usual! Terrific dining experience!

William Robbie Richards

Service and menu not to mention the wine list

Nicolas Castillo

What a great place! You'll notice the striking entryway which is very popular for pictures. The chef's prix fix menus had many tasty options which filled up those who had it, even though they were smaller portions. The variety of starters kept things interesting and the entrees are delicious (yes, they know how to grill a steak). This was a great place for a post wedding celebration!

Lawrence Haanio

Wonderful Food Excellent Staff

Randall Manaka

Great food, even better ambience!

Bernadette Wilkins

For dinner we had the degustation menu. By the end of the night we were really full and I must say every dish were really good. The service was spot on and the vallet service is free. Their lunch is a 3 star still (it used to be a 2 star) i dont care for their menu since its more sandwiches than anything.

Harry Morley

What a wonderful experience...so happy we seated early to enjoy the surf and sunset over Waikiki. The menu was fun...so many selections that are unique as a good fusion restaurant should be. Servers were so polite and helpful...and did not interfere with a great dinner... The bar was perfect...went early and glad we did. Call for a window table early on and just enjoy yourselves... Laters, Harry

Terry White

Very nice and upscale restaraunt. My wife and I enjoyed our anniversary dinner ther.

Glenn Summerfield

Excellent staff, along with a menu that is second to none.

Rene Reiner

Great food, great service, experience but good.

vishal buxani

Very elegant and HS

Jin Chang

Very nice atmosphere.

Phil Stripling

Our dinner was distracted by an intermittently screaming toddler. It's not the restaurant's fault, but it was not a pleasant evening. I had to ask our waiter to speak louder. Service was good, and the food was good. The restaurant has good views across to Waikiki and Diamond Head. Dress well to eat here. No one was in shorts and flip flops.

Hawaiian steel

Tastes good but small portions

Steven Busque

Wonderful... just wonderful!

Mike King

4 stars because our friend ordered the pork loin and it was very spicy, she doesn't eat spicy. No warning on menu except for Ko Chi Jung sauce, not everyone knows what that is. They should have taken it off the bill as she didn't eat it or take it home. If the restaurant doesn't put some kind of warning on the menu like a little chili pepper next to it than the waiter should say "that dish is a little spicy , are you okay with that?" Instead he said "It says on the menu Ko Chi Jung sauce"

Mike Bell

So delicious and beautiful

John Swain

53 By the Sea was the perfect restaurant to celebrate my birthday. The martini was smooth, the Foie Gras was sensational and the view as priceless. A foodies dream come true.

F. G.

Must see while in Singapore

Letesha Driskell

Food was amazing, service was phenomenal! The whole experience was spectacular!

Deb Valentine

Excellent service. We were there for lunch on Valentine’s Day after having a beach wedding. Food was delicious and presented beautifully. All the staff that we encountered were so helpful and added to the enjoyable experience

Moon Yun Pellerin

From the view to the food to the decor and excellent service, I would go back in a heartbeat.

TIMOTHY COLE

A great dinning experience in a beautiful, secluded place. When first entering the building you are struck by the grand staircase that looks fresh out of Cinderella. The service was top notch and the drinks were done well. I had the snapper and it was a delicious well sized filet. I would go back for special occasions and/or to impress a client.

Hamish Anderson

This is another of Hawaii's ultimate dining destinations. The restaurant itself is very impressive (the staircase on arrival is unlike anything i have seen in a restaurant before) and the outlook back to the city very pretty. The food was brilliant, though it was disappointing that the wine list was missing 3 of the wines we first chose and the menu was missing 3 key dishes(To be fair it was new year's day). Otherwise, a very good restaurant.

Winfred Cameron

Great view and atmosphere. Drinks and food were delicious!! Lobster rolls were amazing!! Definitely recommend the experience.

Ron Rumbaoa

Excellent food. Great views!

McKinley Jones

Best food, best drinks, best view of the ocean from any table!

Gulben Solakoglu

This place is a joke! It was our honeymoon dinner and we were waited for 30 minutes then given a table in the additional sitting area (not main dining room) it took 45 minutes to order our first drinks. The seafood tower wasn’t fresh and everything else was average. Definitely do not recommend

Jordan Adamidis

Awesome food and atmosphere. Seafood and fish delicious. Can be pricey, but food is worth it.

Aneulena Candelaria

The food and service at absolutely excellent. The ambiance is tranquil as the dining room overlooks the ocean with beautiful views of Diamond Head.

Bennie Good

Wonderful place for that special dinner on Waikiki. Definitely upscale and pricey, but with it. The amazing thing was that the place though upscale was quite non-aloof. We were dressed more casually... But we're welcomed gladly. Sea side table overlooking Waikiki and the sunset surfers. We went early 5pm in October... Which seemed early, but it was perfect for sunset... At 6:05pm. Valet parking made it nice. Service was superb. Thanks Devon and Jordan. We had the Rose and Mac Nut Mai Tai cocktails. Caesar salad and lobster bisque. Scallops and Opah for entrees. Gelato and sorbet for dessert. A Provence Rose...a bit too dry, but still nice. A great place to celebrate being in Hawaii.

Francis Li

Beautiful place. Attended a wedding reception here. The view was breathtaking.

Kimberly Holt

Amazing cocktails, service, entertainment and food. We loved it!

David Yang

Food is not that good, ahi bowl needs more flavor and salt, tempura was good

Michelle Kerklo

Chef did a fantastic job accommodating my vegetarian diet. Bartender made great drinks, no skimping.

Tarkan Ariyak

This place is a place to be seen in and the service is excellent. If you want a great view while dining come for lunch. You can not see out during dinner.

Justin me

My experience here was disappointing, I was fuming last night so decided to wait until morning to leave a review. My wife enjoyed her food (thus the 3-star and not 1-2). Oysters were great, very fresh. Octopus was salty. Peppercorn Filet was perfectly cooked, and wasted by literally smothering it with peppercorn (the steak had little to no other seasoning) which I had to scrape off. I can take fault for that as I shouldn't assume a dish, and maybe people just like peppercorn a LOT more than I do. The potato's/sides/etc were all very good though. Also the view is great, nice location. However, my issue here was as a few others noted. I'm younger, and I don't exactly wear a suit and tie everywhere, especially on vacation. But you shouldn't assume I'm financially strapped, i'm not (even if that was the assumption, service should remain consistent to all patrons, always). The attention was lacking, I've never felt out of place at a restaurant before. We eat at high end restaurants constantly, many in Vegas far more expensive than this. Very little effort was made to engage us to the point of dismissive, the table next to us received plenty of attention. I can pretty much guarantee we consistently tip better than anyone that was in that restaurant last night so I felt pretty insulted overall. I still gave our waiter 30% (you missed out on 80-100% fyi), and expressed my concerns to him on leaving. He handled it fine/professionally, I don't think he was intentionally rude, I just didn't appreciate the assumption. This was our last dinner in Hawaii before we leave, all the ones prior to that (at equally scaled restaurants) were wonderful. So it's sad to leave on that note. Restaurants live and die by consistency, and that does NOT only apply to food.

박소연

people cannot imagine about this location~ however, there is awsome place in honolulu. everything r perfect such as ocean view, delicious foods, and alcohol~~☆

Sunil Rattan

Freaking amazing.

Jennifer Visitacion

went in this lazy sunday and had a few cosmo royales and some pupus. pupus included crab lumpia, spicy ahi poke, umami fries, and calamari. everything was absolutely amazing!! the view of diamond head and the surfing was the greatest view! great place to retreat to on a sunday!

Ian Fallmann

Great views of diamond head, good food and service. Go before it gets dark

Jackie T

Okay

笹本英利

These dishes are familiar with Japanese. It tastes so great!! And we can see so nice scenery from here.

Stacey Quandt

It is a beautiful restaurant but the food, in particular the blackened ahi tuna, was a big disappointment. The quality of the food on the 3 course prix fix looked much better. The oyster trio was so so. Go elsewhere.

Deborah Kirk

Shockingly disturbing, very poor management decision by Shawn ... 7 guests for a 85th birthday celebration will never return and tell all their friends and schere of Influence.

Ray Barbosa

Wonderful birthday experience!

John Keller

Great views of the Pacific, Waikiki and Diamond Head from your table. Server was friendly and food was good, but not spectacular

Anne Barnes

Perfect for special occasions! Beautiful setting.

TINA ADAMS

Loved everything about it. I got the scallops and my fiancee got the tomahawk steak! He says it was the best steak he has ever had. I am not a huge steak eater but it was Delicious and Juicy. Lobster rolls were amazing! Great views and a truly wonderful evening.

Robert Cole

This place is all class.

Ron Hubert

Awesome views. Cold beer, great mules served in a copper pineapple.

David Bovee

Very nice place. I'm plan to take my parents when they visit the island. The view is the best part! Great pianist too.

Kristen Kimura

This use to be my absolute favorite place to eat! For every birthday, anniversary, and event we had, me and my now husband came to eat here. I loved this place so much that he actually proposed to me on valentines day in 2014 over dinner, and we made it a tradition to come and eat at this restaurant every year around valentines day when we could find time to have date night, because we have such hectic schedules. I wasn't going to write a review, but this has been bothering me till this day and I think there needs to be some kind of change because this one moment ruined our whole experience there and because of this one person we will not be coming back for a while. This year we came in for our engagement anniversary a few days before Valentines because we both were going to be busy that day. My husband made a reservation for 730pm and we showed up around 7pm. Our table wasn't yet ready, which we didn't mind, so we headed to the bar to have a drink or two before being called to our table. The bartenders name was Leo and when we walked up to the bar there was an older couple there that he was socializing with so we just sat maybe two seats away from them. the bartender greeted us within a minute of us sitting down and asked us what he could do for us. we told him we were waiting for our table and that we were going to order drinks, he then handed us a bar menu where we looked over the drinks. he told the other couple goodbye as their table was ready for them to be seated. My husband ordered a Heineken and I ordered a Belvidere vodka with club soda. He brought the drinks to us promptly and didn't pay any attention to us and was very rude from then on. my husband and I are around 30, and it just seemed like he didn't pay us any attention because we were younger and it felt to us like he felt like we weren't going to take care of him "tip wise". it made us feel so out of place because we have never been treated like this before and I have worked in the service industry for over 10 years and this behavior was unacceptable. Before we could even finish our drinks he handed us the bill. I was planning on ordering another round of drinks, but he didn't even ask and the whole bar was empty so it just felt like he was rushing us out. He then went on the side to talk to one of the servers and when he was finished talking to her i tried to call him to tell him we wanted to order another drink raising my hand and saying "excuse me," but he just ignored me and started doing other things. Then 3 older people came to the bar to wait for their table as well, and he just took the bar menu that was in front of us with out saying a thing and gave it to them, like we were invisible or something. This was quite aggravating, because this is supposedly a higher scaled restaurant, and with the price that we pay, the service should be better then that, especially when the whole bar was empty! We then went to the front and told the hostess that we won't be having dinner there anymore and we ended up going to Ruth Chris Steak House down the road. Their service was far better then the service we got that night at 53 by the sea, and its really sad because this place had so many memories that we always reminisce about every time we come in. Now it looks like we will be going elsewhere for all the events we have. what a shame that one person could ruin things that had so much meaning to someone.

Allen Leong

Excellent food, service and view. Worth the price.

Gayle Stephens

Beautiful view! Unsurpassed! Excellent food, good and friendly service. Of note, view is greatly diminished after dark, so go for lunch or early dinner!

Sonya Lee

Beautiful scenery and decor! Went here on my bday and had the surf & turf. The food was absolutely exquisite and the drinks were amazing too. It's very $$$$ so I'll prob come back on a very special occasion.

Nolan Kido

Restaurant is quite expensive and for a high price you would expect a certain level of service. My family rarely eats out so we would normally go to this type of establishment only for a special occasion. Unfortunately during a recent event at 53 By The Sea, my mother had a negative experience due to the behavior of one of the staff. Apparently a banquet server named "Jeff" was both rude and dismissive during service. He was not attentive and did not respond at all to inquiries. Part of going to a nice restaurant involves the food. Part involves the ambiance. But a big part of the experience is based on how customers are treated by staff. Due to Jeff and his interactions we had a negative experience and are not likely to eat at this restaurant again.

Rebecca Lee

Great good and service. View was amazing. Live jazz music, cool bar, highly recommended

Al

Amazing location and environment, sensational service and outstanding food options with a good wine list

JoAnn Yee

NOLY PAA on piano is fabulous. We went for happy hour in the bar just to hear him play.

Jeannine Billand

wonderfully situated on my favorite spot on the island for dining. Remembering the old days!

Rick Kazman

This is a beautiful setting and the service is first class. I always enjoy coming here. My only complaint is that I did not think my mahi mahi was up to par on my last visit here. Really I wold like to give them 4.5 stars, as my experience is otherwise very positive. This is a great place for a romantic meal or to impress an out-of-town guest.

Donna Pierce

Food and service is fabulous. Will definitely recommend this to everyone

Matt Viel

A perfect place for a special occasion

Aaron Tyra

Just because you have a view of Diamond Head, does not mean you can serve high prices for tasteless food. I went with 8 people and everyone was disappointed with the food. You can easily drive here, park at the park, walk around and take photos and skip having to waste money here.

Emanuel Mavres

This place is expensive but it allows for some of the best views of Waikiki. Have dinner by the water and enjoy the sunset. Food is very good and drinks were as well.

Kara Lum

Really excellent service, the food was good, but very pricey.

Il Sung Cho

Delicious food but little bit salty....

David Brucas

Beautiful view of Point Panic. Great happy hour pupus at half price. Kitchen does a good job.

Paul Ogawa

Great views of the ocean and Diamond Head.

jonnomc88

Lovely, really enjoyed our lunch meals. Also very affordable considering the quality of food served.

DJ Halcro

Great food and ambiance....

Wonderful Anniversary dinner

Ikaika Mori

5 star worth. Highly commend. Food is fantastic and an excellent view.

Nice view of diamond head and ala moana beach. Relaxing fine dining and great service.

* The one star is for the chef ONLY. - We ordered crab cake, lobster pasta (daily special), lamb chops, 2 cocktails >> Very tasty, great sauce on lobster pasta; lamb chops were cooked perfectly. - No dedicated server; never introduced today's fresh catch until we asked; took our knifes while we were still eating; one server asked us who has what dish but later another server came and gave utensils to the wrong person and got the dish wrong (rib eye instead of lamb chops); glad to have birthday cake but no utensil is provided (?!) >> Bad organizing, lack of communication; This is not the problem of having sections or not. Restaurants in Asia don't serve by sections and it works well. - The angry part: We couldn't finish the lobster pasta. We have half of the pasta and half of the half-cut lobster left. Server boxed it for us and we left. When we were back home, we found out that our half-cut lobster was missing! Apparently the server didn't pack it! I don't know how the server detemined that there was no meat in the lobster......even no meat, I'm sure most of the restaurants would still pack the shell. One word: ridiculous. - With this price range, I give them a F. --- Dec 8th, 2017

A special location with stunning views overlooking the Kakaako and Waikiki skyline and Diamond Head. Watching boats coming in and out of the harbor “, seeing surfers in front of your window and listening to the piano player creates a special relaxing atmosphere. The food is also special and up to standard for a local 5 star dining experience, even though I couldn’t say it was the best I ever had in island food but there was nothing to complain about. Service is good, but I didn’t like getting the check with my desert. I would have loved to have my mandatory expresso and perhaps a cognac to finish my 5 course taster menu in style but coffee bean on my way home had to do it. I mentioned it to the manager on my way out, but he really didn’t worry so much about it. If I was the manager I would have made sure my guest gets an expresso on the House after spending $104 plus tax and tips. I can understand a cognac on the House is a little too much to expect, and I would have gladly bought if the manager would have shown some Aloha! I am glad this restaurant is in my neighborhood - it remains to be different.

G Skinner

Exceptional food, atmosphere and staff! Check out amenities outside on the lanai. A great way to celebrate my sister! Have the molten lava dessert....divine :)

Yumiko Kitada Kubo

Beautiful view and diligent staff!!

Mark Benson

Great place, but you feel like you are driving through a third world to get here. Sad for the business owner.

Skoo ma

My newly wed wife and I went here for the 4th. It was honestly beautiful.

Madeline Pinsonneault

Everything about the dinner was exceptional. The service, food, decor and views were all top notch. They also went above and beyond to accommodate my young daughter who is 2. They found her small cups to drink from and even had child sized silverware. Overall, it was a great experience and we would definitely go back

Sharlene Wong

Spectacular view of Waikiki and Diamond Head. The food as usual was superb. I have eaten here 4 times. Every time the food has been prepared just right. They use interesting side veggies to complement the entrees. The plates are a work of art. We had the lobster rolls and the pork belly to start. Then the Caesar salad. I had the steak this time and it was very tasty. My husband had the duck which he enjoyed. For dessert we had the mille feuille which was a disappointment. I would pass on this. I had the creme brule and lava cake in the past. Both were good. I highly recommend this restaurant. The service was impeccable.

Tommy Sciano

Delicious. Wonderful atmosphere, and the view of the city at night is breathtaking. Worth the visit.

Kelly Callaway

Very good food but so little food for the cost.

S.H. Ben

Excellent service, food and wine were amazing! Beautiful views.

Zaw Doi

One of the best place to do fine dining in Honolulu and food is good here.

Natalie T

The restaurant itself is drop dead gorgeous inside. It is in a slightly odd looking area for how nice it is, but I have no complaints. It is definitely a special occasion restaurant, as it was very expensive, but the food was very good and worth it. We went for our 5 year anniversary and had a wonderful experience.

VM

My husband and I went here to celebrate our anniversary on the recommendation of a friend who goes here regularly. The building itself is beautiful and has nice views of the ocean by day and the city at night. The food is good quality and thoughtfully prepared and presented. The La Vie en Rose champagne cocktail was a nice start to our meal. My husband enjoyed the filet and lobster, which included the claw meat, and liked that they give you a small bit of salt to season the filet yourself. I had the mushroom tagliatelle with poached egg and the pasta was cooked properly and had a creamy flavorful sauce. The portions are just right to feel satisfied without being too full. For our anniversary they made a beautiful dessert plate for us and we finished up by taking a walk on the patio and pictures on the staircase. We were on the lower end of the age range of the clientele and followed the dress code and felt comfortable. We both thought the staff and management were attentive and polite. Parking is complimentary valet, tipping is at your discretion and the valet was gracious. Overall, this was a nice way to celebrate a special occasion and we would go back again.

KG

If you're in Oahu this is a MUST for dinner. Right on the water with beautiful views of the Ocean and the City. The food is VERY GOOD!!!!!!!

Dean Fukumoto
