It has been a disaster coming to this restaurant, when we enter the attendant was very rude to my friend, we took a seat for four and order drinks, appetisers, soup and main course. My friend had request them to remove Mushrooms from the coconut soup and the waiters said that it cannot be done now and left the table. I am so confused about there spice levels all seems the same. At the end as we were devastated by the food and service we ended up not tipping and the waiters followed us outside the door asking for it and on denial said “DONT COME BACK EVER”. Now I see why they need the tip, it’s to to learn basic human behaviour.

Oh man. You can't believe how good this is. Ordered lunch today for the office. We asked for a bunch of different appetizers. They only give one pancake with the Roti Cani. I like to ask for an extra so everyone is happy. Several of the Basil Rolls and Spring Rolls. Several soups - veggie and coconut chicken. And the Samosa thing with little samosas and spicy sauce. All tastes great and all gone in a minute. The samosas are my favorite. My staff love the Roti and basil rolls. Great food and delivery makes it all better too.

Deliciousness as always!!!

Excellent service, nice ambiance and the food was terrific!

I've only ever been here for take-out, and every single time I have had a great experience. The staff seems to really care about the quality of food and service they deliver. The lunch special is also one of the best deals around.

Delish, cozy setting, reasonable prices

Awesome atmosphere... great service and very clean.... Food was very tasty and filling.. Good portion and extremely fresh ingredients! My hubby is particular and he loved it!

Not as spicy as I thought but good food

Good food, very good service, nice ambiance, excellent company. We always enjoy this little gem in the Toco Hill Center.

Food was delicious. I had a dish that had chicken, shrimp, and scallops. The sauce was amazing. Setting was cramped and restroom needed attention, but other than that it was a good time.

I love this restaurant. I go very frequently, though I'm not always in the area. Huge menu, and most things are great! I would give five stars, but it is inconsistently great. Service is good, drink and dessert menu are good.

Zero Star - Ate there last night (9-9-18). Never again! Service was very poor. Asked to substitute an item on my order. Waiter never came back with an answer - only the dish ordered. There were 5 people in my party. 4 of us order chicken. The chicken was so overcooked it was like rubber. My husband ordered catfish. "it was Swai (the cheep imitation catfish). I know because I have purchased it myself. Also, I am a lover of catfish. So we paid the higher price for catfish and got imitation catfish. The cashier swears it was real catfish. Don't be fooled. The biggest issue was the price. The cashier automatically charged us 18% gratuity, which I refused to pay. When questioned I was given a receipt which indicated 15, 18, or 20 percent gratuity. Why was I charged 18 percent? Therefore, I refused to pay any gratuity at all. I paid for only the food itself. For some reason, as an African American, I have the worst experience at Asian establishments. They will not be getting any more of my money.

Came here yesterday . Food was okay, order spice fried rice but it was nothing but sweet. Service was okay. Glasses smelled as there were not even washed properly. The worst part of this place. They will come and fight with you for tip and even tell you they loose money i dont understand how do they loose money if we havent tipped and tip is our choice not a compulsion . Tip is to be given when we are happy we got but we were okay not happy. We didnt complain either . One of them followed us till the car to demand for tip and questioning what tip we gave him . How ridiculous that sounds and he has the odacity to tell us that he is loosing money i mean wow . Expectional Customer Experience. Never ever to return here again ....

Tasty food, good service.

Top Spice: Your food is awesome. Please remember that folks ordering for delivery are your customers, too. We often add 20% to the delivery. Try to be a little more courteous and customer friendly on the phone. You are way too abrupt, bordering rude.

Went visited on a Sunday late afternoon. The place was pretty busy but we got sat right away. Our waitress was very quick to take our order and fill our water glasses. The place is a bit dim but it adds some draw to the place. Lots of couples and groups came in and out and a lot of families were there. Docked them 1 star because the spring rolls were 1 per order and were a little expensive. For my meal I had the phrik khing chicken. It was spicy and had good depth of flavor, it was a red curry sauce with crunchy green beans red bell peppers. The portion for that was more than enough and the steamed white rice was hot and steamy. Putri basket was my husbands choice, it was a brown sweet/spicy/smoky sauce with celery, onion, mushroom, scallops, chicken and shrimp in a flour basket. The service was great and the place stayed busy the entire time we were there. I'd love to try their other dishes.

Food was wonderful and the waitstaff were on point. Child of patron playing video games louder than dinner conversation was a headache. Staff seemed oblivious to the disruption. Score 1 for free range parenting.

Fantastic food, wonderful atmosphere, terrific service! Prices are reasonable. Serving sizes are big enough for sharing. Highly recommend this hidden gem in Toco Hills shopping center.

Take out was convenient and tasty!

Mango tofu. Enough said. The best dish ever.

We tried this restaurant for lunch after a meeting while we are out of town. Loved the atmosphere, very peaceful. The food was delicious!! Jason had the vegetable soup and it was gone before I could try it. Lol! I tried the coconut soup and it was fantastic!! Its a coconut base with citrus finish. Yummy!! Jason ordered the Spicy Squid and I ordered the Masaman Curry chicken. The squid was delicious with fresh peppers and basil in a red sauce. The curry was wonderful with a peanut coconut base with cashews. I also ordered Dragon Pearl Jasmine tea which was absolutely amazing! All together a great lunch and a memorable meal. Service was wonderful, nothing negative to report! If you find yourself in Decatur it's worth the drive!!

Had an amazing experience here today. Staff was sweet and funny. The food was great best Thai I've had in a long time. My drink was good and cheap and got me tippy too. Will come back , eat and drink soon

Soup and curry sauce watery - very little flavor - totally Americanized or what I consider to be the fast food of Thai cooking. I was disappointed - lured in by the Zagats signage - don’t be fooled! Mediocre at best.

I order B07. Glass Noodle Salad and after eating 20 to 30 minutes my stomach doesn't feel comfortable and I got sick diarrhea and fatigue symptom of food poisoning I think health department is not doing a good job checking this place if you check other reviews they complain about getting sick after eating here. Becarful if you stomach is weak don't eat here. I eat in places where they have a 70 on health department score and I don't get sick here they have 85 and I got very sick. And it was my first meal so I can't say it was something else. They lose POINTS for 2-1C.No bare hand contact with ready-to-eat foods or approved alternate method properly followed 12-2C.No discharge from eyes, nose, and mouth. Like I say if your stomach is weak dont eat here. If your stomach strong enjoy the food the food is good and the employees good but they need more training the food very tasty but my stomach didn't take it. Sorry is my opinion judged yourself.

The food was very good but the service was super slow and they weren't even busy and wasn't really attentive at all.

Spicey and tasty food

The food was delicious but could use a bit of improvement while serving the food

The service is good. The food is okay. I would give it a 3 star. I have eaten better Thai food.

Not much liking the way they prepare the chicken satay appetizer.

Terrible rice, and they use ketchup for their Pad Thai

Great attentive staff, excellent food.

The service at the N. Druid Hills location isnt that great. The server I had was not attentive, she served me food with no utensils and when I requested some, she tossed them at me. In addition, the food quality isnt consistent, there's too much ice in the Thai Iced Tea and the food isnt that warm. The Akers Mill location is waaaaay better i mb service and quality. The servers are also more respectful.

This place is amazing! There's usually a crowd here so it's not really a quiet restaurant but a good setting. The lighting is good and location works well. They have a lot of vegetarian options to choose from and you can usually ask the waiter to make an entree or soup without certain ingredients. There's a cool fountain outside where you can take pictures as well! The food is good and can be made spicy on a scale from 1 to 8. All liquid entrees come with white rice.

OMG!! How good is this place? Perfect except for parking get an Uber Lyft or carpool parking is horrible!!

Amazing food fries is best for me and also all the curries I got vegetarian and it was still really good would definitely recommend if you are a visitor !!!

Good Thai/Malaysian food for a reasonable price. We tried the Roti Canai and Fresh Basil Rolls for appetizers and Pad Thai w/ Shrimp lunch specials for the main course. Enjoyed these and would recommend, and looking forward to trying other new dishes on our next visit.

Best Thai in Atlanta!

Soup was too salty. Main dish was good.

I am an avid Thai food lover and this spot did not disappoint! Service was great, food was delicious and prices were good. The green curry was great and the appetizers and soup were also very good. I will definitely return!

Worst management ever ... they forced the waiter to take dinner order before we were ready ... from two previous time they rushed us bringing dinner before we were done eating our appetizers. Not bringing condiments or serving water when asked. Owner didn’t care when we complained.

Excellent. My favorite is their Fried Tofu appetizer. The best I have had in the Metro Atlanta area so far.

Good food, even better service.

Very interesting menu. Great flavors and surprising low cost.

If you have experience with authentic Thai food you will be extreamly dissapointed. There is absolutely nothing Thai or Malaysian about this place. It’s mainstream flavorless food with zero spice and heat. My “Pad Thai” was a soupy mess and they tried to raise the spice level with chilli paste??!!!?!!! I couldn’t even stomach it. The service was good, the food came out hot and fast and the place was really clean. I just want to save any fellow foodies out there the disappointment that we just had. We literally just left and went to an Indian restaurant across the street to get our fix lol

Extremely fast food prep, good and wide food selection, courteous and attentive staff, and decent prices.

Ordered take out. Very friendly staff, all our food was delicious. If I lived here I would probably eat here a lot.

Honestly one of the best Thai restaurants I've ever been to... the staff and owners are incredible and the food is even better.

Food was good but not original thai taste. Staff is very friendly. Quick Service.

The best of Thai and Malaysian food without doubt..the crowd proves it

My food was great, but I’m super turned off by the review from someone saying a roach crawled off their plate and the owner’s response.

My favorite thai restaurant. The food is always on point

Always delicious. Nice people.

This is just so so. I got the Thai tea and it was like 90% milk. I also got the massaman which was good but had hardly any avocado and when we asked for more they charged us $2.

Subdued and quiet. Excellent food.

Consistently quality food. My go-to place for reliably tasty Thai food.

Great food and nice ambience. :)

Summary: Great food, great customer service! I came in on Wednesday afternoon around 1:57pm. I had an appointment at 2:30pm, but I was hungry enough that I knew I would be distracted by hunger if I didn't get a bite to eat. I was looking for something super quick and delicious. As soon as I came in, I was seated and Herman was my waiter. I tell you, from start to finish, my receiving my appetizer, entrée, check and to-go container (I couldn't finish the food), was under 20 minutes. I'm mostly writing this review to comment on the food which was delicious, yes, but I really want to brag about Herman. I had questions because I was vegan, and he was so attentive to me and so many other tables all at once, never skipping a beat. I'm told he's the best and longest-working waiter in the place, and I can't say enough about his customer service. I was on my way by 2:23pm. Thanks, Top Spice! What I ordered: Massaman curry with tofu and potatoes

Such great food. Amazing quantities for price and quick service.

The food was not very good. There was nothing unique about the food, I’ve had better Thai. We had the Roti Canai for an appetizer and it was not like it was described in the menu. It’s basically a Malaysian Paratha with a small side of chicken and potatoe curry. The chicken satay was bland. The pad Thai was too sweet! Most of the food was sweet and not much flavor. However, the service was good.

Excellent food and nice ambiance!! Food was served so quick and the order was so precisely taken the staff and they have more variety and the food was so tasty and the spice level were as requested. Coconut flavored soup were so tasty and one of the favorites and must try out. Overall a great place for Thai and Asian food to try out.

It's a very nice place. Food was great. I tried putri basket and was delicious. Tried fried rice too.

Great food, service, and drinks. We will be back!

Very delicious! The Spicy Basil Chicken dish is my favorite and has such a nice flavor! They have great lunch specials also. Would definitely recommend.

Good thai place to grab some food

I have been a customer of Top Spice for more than 10 years. I always remember to ask for no sugar on my order and it turns out very tasty every time. I like the interior too, and they have great service! My only complain is that I wish they had papaya salad on the menu!

Poor service, waiter spilled wine on me and stained my shirt. He than tried to blame it on my friend saying she spilled the wine. Manager was no real help. I never once got an apology. Accidents happen but you tried to blame it on someone else. SMH. Poor customer service!!

I asked for the Extra spicy shrimp fried rice but they gave me mild and it look like it’s peoples left over that they put together to give me. Disappointed with this location. I’ll Stick to going to the one on Akers mill Square.

Fantastic food, fantastic ambiance. Quiet, the same number of serene piano music to dine by. Highly recommend! Food was outstanding.

The food is tasty and unique. Prices sort of high. Service is questionable. We will return because it's very tasty.

Top Spice is, simply put, one of my favorite restaurants. They offer both delivery and dine-in, with a dining room that is miles ahead of your typical delivery place. The food is absolutely superb. They have some of the best fried rice and pad thai I've ever eaten, but more importantly, all of their wide variety of curries are sublime. I can't go more than a few weeks without eating Top Spice I love it so much. There is simply no better choice for Thai food in the area.

Had spring rolls and Pad See U, both decent food. I love the rice noodle very much. The price is reasonable.

Local favorite restaurant. Always delicious. Love the blend of Malaysian and Thai menu choices. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

I think I have an addiction to their coconut soup. I've become so fond of this restaurant for their amazing food quality. Recently, I've tried to cut all meat from my diet. The restaurant helps feel normal by having mostly vegetarian options as a good part of the menu.

Super disappointed.. my party got the Basil Catfish and Pad Thai. The Pad Thai tasted like ketchup - not even exaggerating. Sure, the noodle quantity was huge, but I don't want to eat spaghettios with some tofu, shrimp and egg. The Basil Catfish was not bad, but the Spicy Catfish at Little Bangkok is 100 times better.

We love coming here. My wife and I love Thai food and this is our to go place. We always order the Penang curry and green curry. From the decor, to the food, to the cleanliness everything was amazing. The only reason I give this 4 stars is that their quality has gone down a bit in a past few years or so. Otherwise this is a very reputable establishment.

Horrible service. We usually go during the dinner crowd, but lunch was horrible. Our waiter never checked on us, plus we had to ask any other waiter around for assistance. Once I waiter dis come back he slammed the plates down. The other waitress went to him and spoke to him and only came back to take our checks.

Food was very good but customer service was not that great!

Great food and Jackie is the best of all .

Got Chicken Green Curry. Delicious. Generous portions. I got 7/10 spicy and it wasn't terribly spicy. My bald head did get some beads of water.

The food is always good, quantity is good. Service is okay, my favorite is the Penang curry, pad Thai, and the coconut soup is delicious!

We loved it.

Excellent as always

We order delivery from here all the time and it is always great! I love all their curries and noodle dishes. The chicken panang is excellent! I like a lot of their appetizers. The jerky appetizer is really good. So is the calamari. I really like the chicken coconut soup. It is so flavorful!

I have never had a meal here that I didn't love.

i was super full. had a sister come into town and asked me to take her here again. i see why this place has so many good reviews.

Great food, excellent prices, wonderful service!

Nice ambience. Their curries are the best thing on the menu. Everything else is ok or good.

Came here on a Valentines Day Weekend Date with my boyfriend. This is a favorite of his and he tried to take me here before but I stupidly decline. Glad I finally agreed. The food was amazing, I had the Spicy Chicken and Veggies (bomb) and a Long Island which both were amazing. My boyfriend had some Chicken dish (tasted like flowers to me, but he enjoyed it) and Patron straight and he said it was incredibly strong. Ambience was definitely giving off date night vibes. Only reason they didn’t get a 5 stars from me is because our server was kind of rushed and abrupt. Now, we came in kinda late in her defense, but still. As long as your serving people you be polite.

My wife and I were very pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and service as well as the price of the lunch specials! Then the food absolutely blew us away. I think my dish was called the Mandaman Curry and I cannot recommend it enough! I will advise NOT to order the tiramisu though. Should've been obvious but we always try one if we see it and it is just not good here.

I’ve been here 2-3 times before but this time my experience was very disappointing. The food was alright (not great, definitely not as good as it used to be). But what really surprised me was, once we were done eating and we paid for our food and left, our server actually came out following us to our car asking us why didn’t we tip him more? He was furious at us as to why wasn’t the tip more than he was offered? He kept asking us if there were any complaints about the food or the service, in a very impolite way and was literally mad at us about the tip... I mean seriously? I’ve never experienced anything like this before at any other restaurant. Obviously I won’t ever be returning here again.

Top notch. Today I got the Honey-Butter Shrimp w Broccoli. Unbelievable! (see my photo) My wife tasted and said it was "The best thing I ever put in my mouth!" The sauce that comes with it is a honey-butter reduction full of crushed mint. Sublime.

Mediocre food at high prices. The "pad thai" I ordered had 5 sprigs of bean sprout and is a little soggy. A little disappointed.

Consistently good

The food quality is okay not as great Piedmont Avenue locations. Our servers attended to others needs more than ours based off bias priorities. I rather go to Piedmont location because it is always consistent. The two times we went was the exact same type of service so I recommend for to-go but not dine-in if you’re a minority.

Wonderful basil fried catfish!

My favorite Thai restaurant in the area. Always excellent specials.

The most delicious restaurants in this area. And the service is good!

Yummy food. The service felt a little bit rushed.

Yummy! Highly recommend

So yummy.. Lots of choices

My favorite Thai place! Panang curry is great. Actually, everything I have ever had there has been great. Good for business lunch, or a nice dinner. Take out also.

Great Thai restaurant, lots of dishes to choose from the menu, chai spice tea was delicious will return...

Service was excellence. Arrived around 6pm on a Saturday and was seated right away. I asked the server for recommendations since I've never eaten Malaysian cuisine before. His recommendation was spot-on and I loved beef dish (can't remember the name). Everyone in our party enjoyed their Thai dishes as well and the portions/prices were excellent. Great experience. Will definitely return.

I've been eating here regularly for over a year. The food is always good and portion sizes are large. Panang curry is great as is the coconut soup.

I love this place! Always serves GREAT food and provides an even better dining experience!

In my opinion the key to 5 rating is Consistency. Top Spice provides consist good service and consistently great food. The Shrimp Nests as an appetizer to any dish is a must, plus the spicy fried rice is excellent (spicy means it has a slight kick, not burning). We also love the PadWuSen, curry dishes & basil rolls. Keep doing exactly what you're doing Top Spice..no changes required.

This is my Asian spot. The ambiance and decor is gorgeous. The food is everything. It truly sets the mood.

Honest&true: the decor is very nice the restaurant is kept clean the restrooms are clean the service is very professional our waitress was extremely friendly and the food had flavor it was cooked well definitely will return

Great Thai food. My sister swears they have the best pad Thai anywhere, and I love their spicy basil seafood dish. Wonderful deal on lunch specials as well!

It was average to me. The venue and decor is inviting and waiters were courteous but I was expecting more from our meal. The appetizer soup was amazing then I got my entre meal, the fried chicken dish with rice. To me its difficult to eat fried chicken without some kind of sauce marrying it with the rice. Also the chicken had a weird after taste. My husband got pad thai which did not wow us...it was average and also had the same after taste. I would go again and for a soup dish with rice that was the declicious thai food I was expecting but not I wouldnt get pad thai or the fried chicken dish we got again personally.

This is my favorite of their two locations! The other one in Cobb pales in comparison. I've never had a bad entree here and the satay, both options, is a must try! I also never fail to order an extra peanut sauce. I don't know what they put in that stuff, but it's addictive. I absolutely love their spicy seafood noodle. They also do an excellent job on curries ... the panang is mouthwatering. Look, the place is just DELICIOUS! And kudos for ample parking. On the more popular night there is a wait, but I've gotten food to go and been just as pleased. They also have an ample wine and alcohol list, but the star is the food. Portions are large as well, so you won't leave hungry and if it's not a hungry night, you'll have leftovers. I've had a few of their more expensive entrees such as the lamb chops, and while very tasty, those haven't won me over as much. I always fall back to the noodles and curries, but that just may be my preference. I can't stop eating them! Go. Right now! But again, make sure it's the Decatur location. I'm not sure what's happening at that one in Cobb County, but it ain't happening right.

Sets a high bar for Thai restaurants! Atmosphere is on point! Very traditional and rustic with perfect lighting for any time of day. Staff is super friendly and genuine. The coconut soup was a perfect hot temp and very well made. Ingredients, aromas, flavors... Oh my! Very very good! We also had "Pom-tinis" which might be along the lines of the best mixed drink I've ever had! Tastes exotic and perfectly mixed and is delicious! Ur not going to get a drink like this many places. Entrée consisted of warm chicken salad with peanut dressing while wife had Masaman Curry Chicken. Both entrées were oh so delicious! Can't wait to return to see what else on the menu will tickle my fancy. Menu is very large btw... Happy Eats!

Service is kind of slow but we'll worth the wait

Been going g here for years and can't help but think it's slipping lately. It's just that for the longest time I would have given 5 stars. Not the menu is a bit generic. Staff is good and food is delicious.

Not nearly as good as it used to be years ago

Came here to order to go. I ordered the pineapple rice. After placing my order I asked how long it would take for my food to be ready and and she informed me that it would be 10 to 15 minutes.Which is expected.I sat down and waited for no more than 3 minutes and my food was ready. I found that odd considering I had shrimp and other food that needed to be cooked along with the rice. When I got home my food was burnt after a several bites I couldn't stomach the burnt taste. I picked around and ate the pineapples and shrimp. An hour later I found myself with stomach cramps and in the bathroom after( I hadn't eaten nothing else but ice cream in the past 5 hours). I assumed they gave me old food and tried to recook it. Given the reason why my food was ready in less than 5 minutes and it was burnt . Waste of 12 dollars. Needless to say I wont be back.

I had fried calamari 5/5 soft and nice not chewy at all! Then basil rice with shrimps heat level 8 liked it to! Coconut shrimp soup was so so taste wise. Coconut chicken with white rice taste good as well. On one note: Thai tea 1/5 is not up to the mark toooo sweet!

Very disappointed. Ordered the Penang Char Kway Teow ($8.95) off the lunch special menu. It was extremely greasy and you only get a few shrimps. My bill ended up being $14 and can't figure out why. This place is completely overrated and overpriced.

Fantastic!!! Great service!

Best Thai food in the area! Love the curries and noodles. They also have huge portion sizes so it’s a great value

Excellent local Thai restaurant offering a wide variety of choices from various curry dishes to cashew chicken to various fried rice offerings. The service is always top notch. They will customize most any entree to suit your taste

Ordered lunch and received a bug in my soup. I called to let them know and they offered me an egg roll for the inconvenience. She said it is probably from the fresh veggies in the soup. I really liked them but now I can no longer eat here. I told/showed my whole department at work because we order from them at least 2-3 times a month.

One of my favorite restaurants in the North Druid Hills area. Serves Malaysian dishes. They also have a bar with decent drink options.

Very poor experience for vegetarians food lovers. Found plastic in food, and manager say that it can come for shrimp package. First they accuse that we put plastic peace in food.I told them to check your cctv camera. Than he said you might get in other restaurant you will get non veg peace in your Food. We are never will go to Top spice. Fire your manager. He don’t know customer service.

Great food, and ambiance. Excellent prices and service too!

Beef rendang was very good, but could be spicier.

I give this spot two thumbs up. Service is typically good. This place has a cool design. Similar to a cafe in Las Vegas I liked.

Good staff and interior. We have a lunch special. Reasonable price below $10. Not a fantastic but it was a good we experience definitely. Coconut and vegetable soup was very good.

Realllly good food

Perfect meal in a very clean environment

Good food, friendly staffs, clean surroundings all good. Food is more sweetened to make American tongue happy...

The food and service is always amazing.

So so missing the spicy and authentic taste.

Nothing beats this place for quality and price at lunchtime Pad See Ew, Pad Thai, Coconut Soup, Larb salad, they have it all. The food tastes great, but the real standout is how affordable and fast the food is during lunchtime, making Top Spice my favorite place to go for lunch because I can get, for example, an entree with a coconut soup for around $10, eat it there, and be back to work with less than an hour going by The decorations are interesting as well, with the tables made so that the center is a storage unit covered by glass that has different herbs, spices, and dried peppers on display Larb salad is perfect and coconut soup is very good

It's just average. The fried rice is good with chicken in it. Other than that, it isn't exactly memorable. The other restaurants in that shopping center are much better.........all of them.

Very efficient service...didnt have to wait long to be served at all. The food was very delicious!!! Decent wine list.

The pineapple rice was good, ginger special was amazing and light! And the mazama curry was to die for. Also you get to pick how spicey you would like your food!

Nice ambiance setting friendly service. It would be a nice place for a date and try new foods. It was my first time and I asked our server about the dumplings and of the spice in the food. The dumplings weren't but the sauce was. I couldn't enjoy it since the sauce was so spicey. I may give it another try but I guess the server was the wrong person to ask.
