What can i say about the palm that already hasn’t been said? I love coming here when on vacation in Orlando which is every few years if we are lucky! The food is outstanding and service is excellent, the staff know the food and what they’re talking about. Ive had lobster,steak and pasta and never been disappointed in any way. This time it was our anniversary and they surprised us with a fantastic sweet mousse, thanks so much for that. We will be back.

The dinner Caesar salad is phenomenal (get the anchovies). The drinks pack a punch, which is always a bonus. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Don't fill up on the bread (it is so good) that you can't eat your meal. The lobster bisque is delicious. The three cheese potatoes au gratin are to die for!!!!!! I also had there grab and go breakfast sandwich. Very good (had three days in a row) and relatively quick (10-15 minutes).

I was at the Westin recently for a conference. We planned to grab drinks and then take some clients out to dinner. We ended up chatting for a while and decided to just eat at the bar at The Palm. Let me tell you, that was a great idea! The filet was one of the best I've ever had and the mashed potatoes were amazing!! Also, Mandy took wonderful care of us at the bar. The second night of the conference, we went back to the bar for after dinner drinks with some clients and Mandy knew exactly what we had all ordered the night before and had our drinks poured quickly. I would highly recommend The Palm and be sure to ask for Mandy!

Food - 2 stars. I ordered the linguini and soup of the day which were both unimpressed. The soup portion was about a small takeaway cup and cost $11. For the price of this restaurant, neither came close to meeting expectations. Service - The added star was for the waitress on the Sunday evening shift. I checked into the Westin after 9pm and didn’t want the hotel room service. I walked to the restaurant and was disappointed to find out the kitchen had closed. I came on a long flight, tired and did not have lunch. She noticed the disappointed face I had and went an extta mile to find out my room number, call and offer some burger. Really appreciate her extra effort. I’d give the restaurant higher rating if the food was better. Still really grateful for the thoughtful gesture.

I was at the palm on July 12th celebrating my daughter's marriage. We received 5 star treatment from your entire staff. Our meals were excellent and our server Jamie was awesome. She was very personable, engaged and just awesome!! Thanks to her and the staff for making the experience so memerable.

Not amazing. Granted we order to take back to our room, but nothing was executed well. Lobster bisque was not good, very dark color, spicy, the Sherry flavor was way off in a bad way, and no creme fraiche. Brussel sprouts were more steamed than roasted. Bone-in ribeye was maybe a nice piece of choice but I'd say the flavor and texture of the fat was not prime. It was also cut Midway through the bone, interesting style but it didn't offer any marrow and left the steak thin.

I hope my experience was a rare one, because it certainly was! I've never had a more rare steak that the filet mignon ordered medium. But again, maybe it'd be better next time.

This seemed like a #steakhouse with a lot of potential but unfortunately fell short miserably. I would definitely classify it as a four star restaurant experience as far as Michelin stars go, but the #steak was surprisingly unable to be cooked right. We had a group of about 12, seven of which had steaks. Not a single steak was cooked right or able to be cooked right. I ordered mine rare, I like my steak red inside with a bit of blood to make it juicy. The steak came out charred on the outside but it actually had spots of purple inside. Two others also ordered them rare, both of which got them charred with mostly red inside. One individual took mine because he preferred his blue-rare, and his was close to rare for me although it was lackluster and lacked any sort of succulence or flavor. Another guest ordered her prime steak medium but they couldn't get it close. I suppose to keep it on the grill long enough the more charred it would get. After 4 attempts she gave up and stopped asking them to fix it. To their credit, the wait staff and management went to great lengths to try and correct all the orders but the kitchen was unable to properly fix the steaks. Management took care of at least the drinks and desserts on the check. I highly commend the management and wait staff for their efforts. I do not think any of us have plans to attend again though. A fifty dollar filet mignon should not come out charred unless ordered as such. P.S. The desserts were amazing! I recommend the carrot cake!

Great fantastic place to heat the only downfall was that they had some kind of sports game on the television at the bar that everyone seem to be interested in even the workers and all of a sudden a very quiet place became like a sports bar yelling and screaming which kind of ruin the mood but they made up for it by giving us free cheesecake free carrot cake took some soup's off our bill and our waiter was fantastic he made us feel at home his name was fabulous Singleton thank you very much

Truly disappointing for “fine dining”. Waited forever for a wine list, didn’t get a drink for almost 20 minutes (we were seated at the bar!) One of the bartenders was really friendly and energetic. Pretty sure the other one was fantasizing about stabbing everyone through the eyeball with a pencil (she was busy, but she’s in the service industry, still). Food took forever. Salmon was okay (somewhat under-seasoned and right on the verge of over-cooked). Not what I’d expect for $38 with no sides included. I appreciate that their seafood is sustainably sourced but I can pick up a piece of salmon, a lemon and some dill for $7 at the store and make a better piece of fish on my own. My $10 asparagus was so over cooked it was yellow and still had hard stems at the base. Served steamed with no salt. My friends’ donut holes were so over-cooked they were unpalatable and had to be sent back. Pity, too. I’m on the road for work all the time and need a reliable hotel in Atlanta, which the Westin is. But that hotel needs a solid, fine restaurant or an okay-ish affordable one, not a mix between the two. Note how many of the good reviews have full names and are written by local guides. Kickbacks, perhaps? Still waiting on the bread basket we were offered and that never materialized, too...

The food was terrible. The service was worse. I ordered veal parm. Veal wasn't hot, sauce tasted like Ragu, and to have pasta with it (which is part of the dish) was an extra $10. My wife ordered crab cakes band couldn't finish it because it tasted like only bell pepper. My waiter Christian didn't bring me the beer I ordered on 2 separate occasions. I asked for a wine list, didn't get it. He said he would bring bread; he didn't. My 7 year old daughter asked for water, and the waiter asked her, "Are you sure you don't want a soda or something, like a Sprite?" Parenting is tough enough already. I've been to many Palms in Houston. This one is a disaster.

The food was delicious. And it wasn't too loud as far as the crowd is concerned. My only problem was I ordered a pimm's cup... . It's a type of cocktail. And they had no pimm's. I do plan on going back.

Was not impressed with the lobster bisque nor the calamari. C rating for appetizers. However the prime bone-in ribeye was one of the best steaks I have had. I will return just for this steak. My wife loved the crab cakes. Cream spinach and mushrooms were also good.

One of the true gems in the restaurant world. Five star, all the way. For my wife birthday, I treated her to The Palm's lobster special. Dinner for two at a great price, fantastic, so good. From a four pound lobster it was upgraded to a five pound lobster. Our server Logan from Philly, on the money, nice meeting you Logan. We enjoyed the whole ambience. I will definitely be going back to The Palm. Everything you would want a classy, high quality restaurant to be. Great experience, Thank You The Palm.

Went for dinner with my teenager sat at bar placed our entire order immediately, I ordered a Caesar salad it was dry and lacked dressing nothing special, I told the server/bartender it was dry he said oh ok. Waited 45 minutes from when my salad came for our two steaks, I order a Sirolin which was $ 39 medium rare, when it arrived it was well done, I told bar tender and he went back to get a new steak which took 20 minutes to come out, he did not offer any type of discount or desert or anything, when my check arrived I told him that he needs to remove the salad and I will not complain about waiting for my entree and that my son was finished with his before my corrected steak came out. I still tipped him his 25 percent, will not go back there and the steak was not even worth it.

A truly odd and bad meal from The Palm. This would have been a big 0 stars if it had not been for the service and the fact that management took care of the meal. My partner's mother had a burned steak and the Cosmos had cherries in them. Whatever was served was not a Cosmo. The asparagus had the hard part of the stems and had not been trimmed. The Wedge salad was served with the core. This was after we had to wait 40 minutes for a booth that we had requested for a 6:00 reservation. The attached pic conveys how unappealing the meal was. Very unfortunate considering this Christmas dinner has been a tradition for five years. Not sure we'll be back. Guess it's time to find a new tradition.

Fantastic restaurant. A great variety of wine with decent options for starters and main course... Tried their delicious crab cakes and salads... In the main course tried their salmon which was fantastic... My friends tried the stake which they loved too... Overall good ambience with very helpful servers. Highly recommend.

This is an upscale restaurant in all ways except one: Service, impeccable; food, fantastic; atmosphere, not so much. To me, eating a $50 steak and enjoying a $100 bottle of wine requires atmosphere. This fine, fine restaurant adjoins the lobby bar where mouthy drunks exhibit their poorest qualities. And, I'm no "prude". Bring ear plugs.

I have a dear friend and we have many things in common but one is our love of lobster and the other is the close proximity of our birthdays. This summer we celebrated those first with The Palm's fabulous summer Lobster Feast for 2 in June. We celebrated our August/September birthdays yesterday with a wonderful lunch topped off with some amazing desserts! We are never disappointed in either the food or the service! I just love this place and enjoy the perks of being a member of their 835 Club as well.

Tony os the caricature artist for the Palm. The management,staff,servers are all top notch! Everyone is always happy to see us. Were greeted with smiles. The restaurant is clean and the caricatures on the walls add an element of fun to the atmosphere. Food is excellent and the desert,omg,the best carrot cake ive ever had. Grrat spot for a date or drop in to have a drink. Theres a full bar. You may even see celebrities who frequent the restaurant. We love this place.

Had lunch. Was okay quality and server was nice. However, the sides were served “family style” and we were having a pre determined lunch as part of a large group. They did not bring enough and I only got one bite of mashed potatoes (average to good quality and taste) and none of the vegetables. I had one glass of water and it was not refilled the rest of the time o was there. Person with me got a steak that was way under ordered temp. They took it back and cooked more but was slightly annoying. Another person at table had steak that was so rare she couldn’t even bring herself to eat one they cooked more. The cheesecake for desert was really good. I think they had too large of a group for the staff they had on hand which effected the quality of the food and experience. They should have been prepared as they knew days in advance of the size of the group attending the meeting.
