Best fried green tomatoes I've had. The Cajun pasta to describe it as just good would be sacrilegious. Right amount of spice, large shrimps, creamy sauce and the shaved parmesan cheese on top completes the dish nicely. Every bite of this dish was mouth watering. The toasted baguette on the side was the perfect finish for this dish. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely be back for more. The service here was on point.

The food was good overall. The service was fast and friendly. The gumbo was okay. It tasted fresh. The bleu cheese vinaigrette is delicious. It's a small dining room which made it so loud that it's hard to have a conversation. I would recommend this place for small groups or buddy meetups.

We went to dinner, I had the lemon chicken and broccoli. Hubby had the gumbo, catfish, shrimp and fries. It was all delicious! The servers were excellent. All in all, it was a lovely experience.

The Corner Grille is a 2 level visually cute and quaint restaurant that literally sits on the corner. When I arrived I waited for about 10 mins and my friend and I were sat on the second level. The waitress greeted us within minutes of being sat at our table. My friend and I asked for recommendations regarding the menu and I orders were taken. So my friend ordered an appetizer that literally took over an hour to arrive, but I will give credit to the manager for explaining what happened to the order, delivering the order herself, and providing compensation regarding that item. The food was delicious and I definitely recommend taking the opportunity to stop in and try The Corner Grille.

All I can say about The Corner Grille is if you like Cajun, seafood and super creamy to die for pasta you HAVE to try their Cajun Pasta! It was full of shrimp, crawfish, andoullie sausage and heaping with parmesan. It was AMAZING! They also had a tea infused with currant that was super tasty as well. They have a great atmosphere with additional seating on the second level and wonderful staff. Definitely worth a try!

The ambiance of Corner Grill is really nice, it's in a great location and the servers are extremely nice. For appetizers we had quesadillas and calamari. The quesadillas were amazing, the calamari was ok, there was too much breading and it wasn't very flavorful. The Southwest Tenderloin was pretty good, especially the ends. I wasn't a fan of the gravy or the vegetables, the gravy was pretty bitter and ruined the veggies in my humble opinion. The Pork Chop was really good too, juicy, tender flavorful. Pretty sure I liked that more then the Tenderloin. Wasn't a fan of the mashed potatoes, they weren't smashed all the way and were pretty dry. That's a preference thing, so I won't hold that against them. I'd love to come back here again.

Stopped here after a quick search on our way to Atlanta. The pics and the reviews is what made us stopped. We got there right after opening so there was no wait. Service: Walked in, was greeted, and seated immediately. We were greeted by Alex who was very prompt and courteous. We were offered a drink menu and given adaquate time to select our meal. Food: We ordered the fried catfish and shrimp. Man all I have to say is WOW! Fish was crispy, golden and fried right! And OMG the coleslaw is freaking delicious. I almost ordered a side of just coleslaw alone it soo DAMN! Good. Also had the IPAs. About 8 bucks for a 12 oz can. Super expensive but worth it in my opinion. Other items on the menu are Chicken and Waffles, Catfish Po Boy, Burgers, Cajun Pasta. By time we got done eating the place was packed within 30 minutes so it is obviously the place to be. Please stop by and visit you will not regret it.

Today while visiting The Corner Grille. I initially waited 40min to be seated. After being seated we placed our order, I look down at the silverware and seen that it was dirty. So I requested plastic, the waiter stated that per the restaurant policy they could not give out plastic. I then asked for a manager and stated to her I needed plastic. She then says she could not give me plastic because it would give the restaurant a bad image, and she did not want others to see me eating with plastic. I stated to her that I refuse to eat from the silverware and she continues to state she had to protect the image of the establishment. I then refuse to eat and paid for our drinks and left the restaurant. It appears that apparently the management would have rather lost money then to give me plasticware. I was very much upset with the outcome and will not return. First time I’ve ever experienced anything like this EVER!!

The chicken was juicy, the homemade fries were just right and the sauce was incredible. I can be pretty harsh on restaurants, but this one I give 5+ stars. Will be back very soon.

It was horrible, food has absolutely no taste. We went because we saw it on the food network. I had the chicken and waffles, my husband had a shrimp omelet. We left feeling hungry cause we picked over the food. A waste of 50 bucks. The wait was reasonable... 20 to 25 min

Cute place with good food and good service. Had the fried calamari (they were out of fried green tomatoes) and the shrimp po boy was delicious. Service was a little on the slow side but still friendly. We had three adults and a baby in our party. The mom and baby hadn't yet arrived so the other two of us asked to get seated so that we could get a drink. Although the table would have been the same if the mom and baby didn't ever end up showing, they wouldn't seat us and said they had a policy of not seating incomplete parties. I guess I understand that if you're busy or if it's a large party, but it sure didn't feel like good, nor logical, customer service.

This food is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! I took my mom and sister here for mothers day. We couldn't decide what to get, so we got 5 main course meals and 2 orders of the crab cakes! DONT JUDGE US...LOL! Love love love it. Cute little place on JohnWasley Ave & Main St. crossing. Beautiful & cozy with bright interiors of wood against the brick walls & charcoal walls. Usually reservations are encouraged. It's 2 story, downstairs and upstairs. Parking is right across the street, usually free on the weekends. They usually have different brunch menu for weekends. I ordered salmon & fried chicken and waffles along with beignets. They were all amazing!! The chicken was super tender & all the food items were fresh & flavorful. They had a small cup with rose on each table. It was so cute. They had mixed crowd. The staff was so nice, professional and suggestive. They accommodated requests. Service and customer service was topnotch! Tbh, it was much better than some big named restaurants. Loved my experience. Will definitely come back again. I'd highly recommend everyone to try it. You wouldn't be disappointed!! They truly deserved & earned 5* rating!!

The food is always hot and nice even it comes it very tasteful, not over seasoned there server we had never came to the table to ask us for refills me and my wife stayed in there about 45 min and that WHOLE TIME no checks up or ask if we were doing ok, ONLY TO BRING THE CHECK!!! The only reason why not giving 5 stars is because of the 2nd time from Saturday July 20, Sunday the 21st was the same thing. I called for 2 Togo desserts the host transfer the call to the a server, the server told me 10-15mins to order. The order ended up taking an additional 15mins. After I arrived, then I get home to a extra small scoop of ice cream for $8 had I known this wouldn't have never got it.

The wait from ordering to eating was a little longer than expected but the atmosphere makes up for the wait. I would reccomend going here. Sit up stairs.

This is my favorite spot to hit when I'm in the city. I have been coming here since they first opened years ago. The service is awesome, the food is always delicious. The young lady with the glasses, who works the front desk for brunch (Sorry I can't remember her name) she is very nice and welcoming, with the prettiest smile. The floor manager is very sharp and attentive. She engages with the customers and is very cool, and very pretty as well. No disrespect because is is married. IJS. Overall, I will rate this place a 10. I will put up my own money to keep them in business. Love it!

This was a great spot for Sunday brunch. We had a bit of a wait but it's because the place is so small. But once we were seated, it did not take long at all for our plates to come out. I had the bleu salad with blackened chicken and my daughter had the grilled chicken with mashed potatoes and broccoli. We split an order of 6 beignets and coffee for dessert. It really hit the spot after traveling from LAX all day and was super convenient for getting on the Marta train to our final destination. Service was friendly, attentive. Consistency is key! I tried this place despite feeling it was over priced based on location and esthetic. Salmon & Grits and a Corner Square. The grits were ok, salmon was pretty good and was blow away by the corner square honesty the highlight of the meal.

Excellent Food + Excellent Service We were going to another restaurant on Main St. for dinner. We had a party of 14, the restaurant where we were going couldn’t accommodate us. We immediately began searching nearby restaurants when we came across The Corner Grille. They initially told us they couldn’t seat us but called back and said there was a mistake they had a top floor they could seat us in. Once we arrived we were greeted and seated with Excellent Service. We were very pleased with all the good selections. No one complained about the food. We were waited by Brittany who did a wonderful job! She was patient and attentive. We will definitely be returning! Soooo.. what should you order? Below are pictures of the Ribeye Steak, Lemon Chicken and Shrimp and Grits. Just know anything you order will be amazing. You can tell when food has been made with love.

Today was my 73rd birthday. I’m in a group where we celebrate each other’s birthdays. The birthday girl gets to choose the restaurant. I chose Corner Grill. There were 12 of us but I made a reservation so we didn’t have to wait. Once we made it up the steps we were greeted by our server, Jordan. He was wonderful. He helped us get seated, was very patient with us and just a mannerable young man. I give him 5 stars. There was a problem with the kitchen so the delivery of the food was very slow. However, Jordan kept apologizing. We assured him that we were not blaming him. When the food finally arrived, everyone seemed happy with their food. I will be back but maybe this isn’t the place for large groups. Kudos to Jordan, though.

I have came to this place plenty of times and this last time coming here, I had a bug in my drink and the waiter asked me "what do you want to do?" ...like what in the world do you mean? The least you could have done was apologize and offer me a free drink. Instead he brings me another drink and says "here you go, but free". I asked him was I going to be charged and he said yes. Terrible. Idk if he was new or what but that was terrible customer service and very unfortunate. I will NOT be coming back after today.

A friend of mine and I came here accidentally. And I'm glad we made the choice. The server was super attentive, and made good recommendations. The mahi was good, a little dry but nothing a little sauce couldn't fix. This is located in downtown college park so parking is street parking.. could be hit or miss depending on the time you come. It is a small restaurant so if you have a large party, I would assume you would have to be patient waiting for a table.

We had a great experience visiting The Corner Grille. We typically frequent another establishment nearby for brunch but decided to experiment here instead. We are so glad that we did. There was a wait when we arrived, but it was nothing outrageous. We were seated upstairs and was pleasantly surprised at how open and spacious it was. We honestly didn’t know there was an upstairs area to be honest. Upon being seated our drink orders were taken and promptly after the food orders. We had the beignets for our appetizer and they were really good and our food was no different. I had chicken and waffles and the portion size was plentiful. I could only eat half and took the other half home. My husband had the catfish and shrimp and he said it was really good too. All in all we will be back and are glad we tried this spot out. It was well worth experimenting. Everyone was nice and friendly and the food was awesome!!

The food and service here was fantastic! The shrimp and corn fritters are a must! I asked for the recipe -- they're that good! The shrimp and grits entree was delicious as well. Tip: Make a reservation!

This was a very nice clean, quaint joint. Small but very classy. Our waiter Jordan R. Was very thorough and professional when explaining the menu options. His charm and passion for the food flowed out of him as if he was the one preparing every dish. The food was was excellent with beautiful presentation. The atmosphere of this restaurant is perfect. I didn't realize that this place was a Louisiana themed restaurant until I was seated and looked at the menu because the decor is very plain. Once I saw the menu, I was eager to taste everything on the menu. I ordered a cup of gumbo and the seafood omelet and they were great. The omelet was bursting with crab and shrimp.

DELICIOUS! After attempts to get a late Sunday lunch at multiple places in the Camp Creek Marketplace, and being rudely denied, ignored by wait staff, or dismissed, we finally five Corner Grille. Let me tell you, I'm so glad those other places screwed up. When we arrived, we were seated immediately. We were only a party of two, and Corner Grille was ready! The waitress assigned to our section was busy with another table so a lonely young guy quickly had her back and took care of us. The food was AMAZING. I was shocked that grilled chicken could be so flavorful! My boyfriend had the crab cakes and murdered them. We wanted dessert but honestly had no room! Portion sizes were perfect, and we could tell that the employees and owners genuinely cared about the appearance of the establishment. We can't wait to come back for your brunch service! Thank you for redeeming our Sunday afternoon!

The ambiance was nice and clean. The Health Food Score, 88. It was Sunday so we waited about 30 minutes for a table. We ordered chicken and waffle, catfish with potatoes, Coleslaw and french toast with turkey sausage. Potatoes not that great, and my turkey sausage was reheated. I could barely cut through it. Our waiter was nice enough seemed in a rush.

The service is really slow tonight. It has taken 30 minutes to get the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer. Love the food but was truly disappointed with the time it took to get the food. I love supporting local restaurants; however it’s things like the wait that disappoints.

Went for Sunday brunch and they were serving a special: Rainbow Trout with grits and Parmesan sauce. I’m a pescatarian and I must say, it was VERY GOOD. I would’ve given 5 stars but I wasn’t too pleased with the scrambled eggs with cheese I ordered. They covered the eggs with shredded cheese and I’m not a fan of cheese eggs of that kind. Also, Wesley was our server. He was very knowledgeable of the menu but also very forgetful of additional things we were missing/wanting (I assume it was because of how busy it was, maybe). Overall, I enjoyed my food.

We went here for our mother's b'day lunch. It was the first visit for 3 of the 4. The place looks nice. The service was good for the most part. They were busy so it took a little bit for our food to come out but they did a great job checking on us. I had the shrimp and corn fritters, cup of seafood gumbo (it's literally a small size cup), house made slaw and beignets. One had fried green tomatoes, fried catfish and shrimp with fries and the slaw. The third person had the salmon sandwich (I forget the exact name). The fourth person had the chicken Caesar salad. The food was thoroughly cooked and had a nice presentation but lacked seasoning to me (I also tasted the fish, shrimp and tomato). I may go back and try something else. Hopefully the food will taste better. Please note the business does not have dedicated parking but there spaces and street parking nearby.

They have remodeled which is great but they also changed the menu a little which is ok. I think it's the only restaurant in the south that doesn't have sweet tea. (Only lightly sweet with sugar packets)

We went for Sunday brunch here. Though the wait was long (45 minutes for a party of 8) it was excellent. We ordered french toast, pancakes, shrimp and catfish, and the chicken tenders with fries. All was excellent and the presentation was exquisite.

Such great food! I thoroughly enjoyed this place that I just happened to drop by because I was hungry, on my way to Savannah from Atlanta airport. Just shy of 2 miles from the airport, it was convenient, accessble, and best of all, offered great comfort food and service. Loved every morsel of the everything we ordered: Chicken and Waffles, French Toast loaded with Strawberries, Caramel Sauce and Pecans, Seafood Omelette, Beignets, Shrimp and Grits, and of course, excellent Coffee. Highly recommend for brunch fare.

Positive: The food was excellent. I LOVED the chicken and waffles. Negative: We noticed because we had a party of 6, our food took longer to be served than a smaller group of 2, even though our order was placed long before theirs. Additionally, the charge for our entire group was placed on the credit card of one person in our party who had already paid for her own bill. The manager never apologized.
