Jared Smith

So took my girlfriend here for our anniversary and could not of been more impressed with this place. Decided on the tasting menu so ended up enjoying 9+ dishes. The service was great also always keeping us informed on what we were eating. Enjoyed the entire experience, will say however that dessert stole the show!!

One of the absolute best dining experiences I've had in the city. My wife took me for my birthday. We weren't able to get reservations, but we sat on the lovely patio and ordered 1 of everything a la carte. We got to try everything, it was less expensive than each of us getting the full tasting, and it was plenty of food to fill us both. Highly recommended!

bryan gubser

Nice atmosphere. Good service and great cocktails. Not as filling as other tasting menus I've done. But the food is interesting and we'll prepared. Really cool concept in terms of the charitable mission! Worth trying out.

As for the food, the dishes were foreign yet familiar. The chicken liver tart surprised me with its bright acidity, being more familiar with country pate and banh mi pate. The beef tendon took me back to childhood with the flavor and texture, being reminiscent of Vietnamese prawn chips. The spigarello, ham, and walnut xo were equal parts Southern American and East Asian in flavor -- the greens had a beautiful texture. I shed a tear when I bit into the potato bread; it was like the first time I ever had Brazilian cheese bread straight out of the oven. The aged beef was beautifully seasoned: balanced, full of flavor, but not salty. We decided to do the wine pairings and they were all complementary and well-portioned. We had just enough to laugh a little more than usual, and enjoy with and in-between the dishes. As my new Staplehouse coozy says: Stomachs never empty; hearts always full.

Christina Moraitis

I was hoping to love it, but didnt. It was beautifully presented and food and service were good. But after trying everything on the menu, there was not one dish that we wanted to go back for.

Wendy Day

Quite good but a bit over hyped. The food was good but not phenomenal. I expected it to be as amazing as Better Half was (they no longer exist but did morph into Pulpit Suppers), but it’s not even close. I’m glad I tried it, but once was plenty. They serve one meal and you don’t know what it is until you get there. It’s a 7 course tasting menu for $137 charged a month or more in advance. They then charged $7 for coffee and ice tea during the meal. I would have preferred to have been charged $145 for the meal in advance—it seemed a bit petty to charge for tea and coffee during the meal although if i ordered alcohol, I’d have understood the additional charge. The service was exceptional and well informed about what was being served. The staff was very nice and the other diners seemed happy to be there. The restaurant holds 26 diners inside at one time. It wasn’t full when I was there. They serve Intelligensia Coffee which is OUTSTANDING!! The best part of the meal, for me, was the strawberry dessert.

Heather Simmons

I admire their attempt for creativity but the flavors were terrible. We ordered all the dishes on the menu and I couldn’t eat more than a taste each..it was that bad. Advice to the chef: taste your creations before you serve them to guests.

Josh Jacobs

Service? 10/10 Ambiance? 10/10 Food? 100/10 It's so good. Went there for Valentines and had my expectations met and then surpassed. I can't wait to go again.

Michael Cox

Hard to put into words since each course had such a variety of flavors. Worth it for the experience and atmosphere.

Charles Smith

after a few weeks on the road I reward myself by going here and enjoying the great quality of food.

Josh Thompson

This place is great. I heard Jen speak at an event and her story blew me away. Check out their website for that story. So after that, I had to go. And the food also blew me away! I've rarely had a dining experience as wonderful as the one here. This is a really cool place doing really cool things. Go check it out.

Dave Caselli

Weird food. But great experience. You have to do it at least once.

Jeff Teves

Great atmosphere and service.

Taneal Bhandari

Tasting menu plus paired drinks!!!!

Reena Doshi

The expérience was enjoyable. The food was Ok. The dishes didn’t all feel balanced. Some were over salted and others bland. Everything was fresh but not always tasty. Beet dish was very gummy. Cabbage dish was crazy salty. Plating was beautiful but oddly bite sized portions on overly large plates. Overall this was a fun experience but I don’t think the food was amazing.

Brian Smith

Always an amazing and inventive experience.

Mark Fajans

Absolutely incredible. I'm definitely a spoiled foodie, and this was one of the best meals I've had in a long time. Not only did the staff go out of their way to be accommodating to the food allergies of one of the guests in our party, but were also extremely attentive, helpful and well informed if their recommendations. Phenomenal food!

Samantha Peake

The food is excellent. I went with the wine pairing and that was a lot of fun and very good.

Andrew Wilson

Incentive menu. Beautifully presented. Not every dish delivers but the few that did make everything worth it.

Tim Williams

Amazing, believe the hype! We went for my birthday in late May... We enjoyed a meal that was the epitome of a late spring harvest! We love Staplehouse and The Giving Kitchen! So proud to say the restaurant is in our hometown of Atlanta!

Miles Betley

Best meal I've had in my life. Top class service across the board.

Phillip McCall

Incredible tasting menu that is always changing. I recommend going with the wine pairing every time. It takes the experience to another level and you get to learn a lot. I also highly recommend trying to get a seat at the bar. We loved getting to talk to the staff and ask them questions throughout our meal. And be sure to arrive way too early to experience their unique cocktail menu upstairs! We can’t wait to be back.

Daniel Tan

An inventive menu whereby I enjoyed ten courses of masterfully created dishes. Each dish comes to the table as a delectible surprise and is prepared with well selected ingredients. The flavor pairings of each course either accentuated each other into a complete flavor experience or highlighted the essence of a particular ingredient. They are playful with texture such as cool crisp cucumber being reinforced as you bite into crisped rice as the delicacy of the accompanying fish rises to prominence. Service was exemplary and only added to the memorable evening. I recommend arriving early and going to the bar upstairs where the drink menu contains a list of playful options. They don't provide the ingredients, but rather they provide words to describe each cocktail's insipiration.

Bruce Miles

Food was unique and delicious. Service was excellent. Real southern hospitality. Loved it.

Patti Evans

The food was all delicious. Very clean, open, industrial atmosphere. Tables are close together. Knowledgeable waitstaff. Great unique dining experience for special occasions or to impress out of town guests. Reservations are tricky to get. Read the website and make sure you are online exactly at the right time or you'll miss out.

Jake Masters

I hadn't been here in over 3 years when I went recently, and they havent lost their edge one bit. The tasting menu was diverse and delicious, with each new dish bringing new flavors and textures. Fantastic experience.

Michael Bowen

Fantastic food for a fantastic cause. They now do a prix fixe with wine pairings that is really well-thought-out and designed. Since they've gone back to a prix fixe they occasionally have same week seating. The owner encouraged us to call to see if there's availability any time we would like to come. Availability is better on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Susan Owen

It was everything I had hoped for and more. I loved that we had no menu, and instead were treated to a perfect meal, filled with little surprises and very thoughtful touches. One of the best meals I have had in Atlanta, period. Plus, the history, vision and mission of the restaurant is heart-melting. I truly can't wait to dine here again!

Matthew Swickerath

different level....

Suchada Connors

Unique place. Restaurant has 2 levels, 1st floor was having food tasting at the time I visited, the 2nd floor served dinner and drinks. Very impressed with the menu. Dishes come in small plates, very nice decorated, and delicious. Recommend for anybody who wants to try something different.

Aeriel Michelle

Food and service were great. Benefits a great cause and you won’t get the same meal twice. Modern, locally minded, with a great selection of beverages from their bar and wine list. Definitely a must do in the ATL!

Roger Milliken

Oh my God!! An exceptional dining experience.

Marty Danceva

I actually had fun at this restaurant, the food is amazing, and the restrooms were tidy. It was a little cold indoors, really was not the most enjoyable. The atmosphere is good. I will definitely take into consideration returning once more if I get the opportunity. Me as well as my good friend bought the special as well as we were not dissatisfied. My one tip is to maintain the cool outside. See you all again.!

Laura Griffiths

I don't get it.... extremely overpriced, extremely pretentious and not worth the money. We went because we received a gift card and never plan on going back.

Pieter Harteveld

Picked this restaurant for dinner with spouse. They have a long wait list but got in pretty fast. Informal serving, easy going. They offer only a surprise menu with 8 to 10 courses I lost count. We took a wine pairing option as well. By far best restaurant that we tried in Atlanta. Very refined taste and the wine pairing was exceptional. If you have adventurous taste buds and want to try something different try this. You will not be disappointed

Benjamin Bell

A couple of things, you can wait 30 min after the reservations open and there will be openings. The waiting list works too so it isn't impossible to get in. I do not like they do not have draft beers? We got the whole menu which was the recommendation. When we left we were not full, as all of the dishes (12) were shared with four people. It is very expensive and not worth the cost; however, it is unique and tasty. Worth a try.

J.M. Walker

Absolutely lived up to its reputation. Strongly recommend. PS the Paper Crane is a hidden gem.

Stephanie Grimm

Not cheap, but excellent food and service.

Madeleine Marshall

A pleasant surprise. Probably rates at a Michelin 1-star level. Friendly staff, decent service, interesting food. We would go back.

Sytra Phelen

AMAZING!! What a night! If you can get a table, go!!

Paige Townsend

Outstanding! Food was an amazing experience. The staff was excellent! Worth the price for such a great time.

Eva Morgan

Came here on a Saturday. The service was very welcoming and sociable.

Victor Baca

They weren't pretentious. They cook with heart AND skill. I felt like I could "come as I am" without worrying if I were hip enough or dressed well enough. The plates are gorgeous and a couple of them made me tear up. I had not only a wonderful dining experience but also an emotional reaction to their larger dishes. The honey glazed duck breast made me feel like an after Thanksgiving nap in front of the fireplace, where I can feel the warmth of my family laughing in the background. They are cooks and conjurers, which makes it the highest level of art in my mind. Worth every penny, even if its out of your tax bracket.

Grace Song Parsons

My husband and I went to Staplehouse last night to celebrate a birthday. We went for the tasting menu, and had fairly high expectations based on reviews from friends and articles we’ve read. The service was great....unfortunately, the food was not. Everything that came out, except for the dessert, was way too salty. Now, I’m not a picky eater at all, and do love salt, but it really was too much for me. My husband couldn’t finish one of the courses. We were pretty bummed about the meal. Next time we want to spend that much money, we’ll go back to Bacchanalia.

Courtney Lulkin

I love this place. It has a ever changing creative menu that tastes delicious!

Keith S

Took us a while to get a reservation here but it did not disappoint. Great small plates and really cool drinks. Good service. Great restaurant.

Tracy Battle

I loved their sake list as well. We quickly emptied the bottle of sake I brought, and needed another one, but I was worried if what they had wasn't as good as my sake because I knew that would ruin my mood. The restaurant carried quality sake and I was very happy about it. Also, they served sake with a flask that was made of bamboo, and I loved it.

Melissa Twaroski

I brought my closest work colleague, his wife, and his supervisor here one Sunday evening to celebrate his retirement. Our work together had been all about experiences (lowest of the low and highest of the high), and I wanted to end our work together with another high experience. Staplehouse did not disappoint! Over three + hours, we enjoyed 11 glorious tasting courses with 7 wine pairings of some of the most amazing and creative and beautiful food and wines any of us had ever put in our mouths. I have celiac disease, and my dining companions have dairy restrictions. The restaurant staff called me before our meal to double check on these particulars, and seeemingly easily and gracefully incorporated our limitations into the meal. The service was friendly, expert on the menu and wines, and very professional. It was altogether wonderfully outrageous and worth every damn penny.

Lindss S

Great place! Quality dishes

Jonathan MacFarlane

I dined on a Friday night at the downstairs bar, the full tasting menu experience. The food was incredible, and I left full--the thing with a tasting menu is, because the portions of each dish are so small, you don't realize just how much you've had until you stand up. The pate tart, ribeye tartare, and duck were the standouts for me. The service was excellent, as well. Highly recommended.

Lior Baron

My wife and I tried several dishes. The courses were interesting blend of ideas... but the taste was so so in my mind. Nuts were added to many of the dishes (like the sea food dish and the carrot dish) which in my mind made the foos too heavy. Coming from NYC, I think some more practice is needed to a promising direction

TD R57

Top 5 meals of all time, amazing! We did the sampling menu with paired wines, expensive, he'll yes, but AMAZING! Great service, incredible food, great time!

Jed Mangal

Roe and corn cannoli.

Eric Biney

Alexis is a great worker he knows very much on phones and computers also great work

Millie L

The food is excellent. I went with the wine pairing and that was a lot of fun and very good. My husband who is a hearty eater was skeptical that he would be full by the end of the meal. His quote, "They have done the portions perfectly." We had fun, which is important since going to Staplehouse is supposed to be an experience. We are excited to go again to try a whole new tasting menu. Parking was a cinch using valet... and even the valet guy was super nice. The whole evening was fabulous. Highly recommend.

Will Palley

Excellent restaurant. Delicious food, courteous service, and great cozy and informal ambiance. Get the tasting menu, which is delightful!

Lory Macrate

Everything was perfect …and I’m a perfectionist, so I don’t use that word lightly. We’ve dined in some special restaurants in the over the years, but this was our best dining experience ever… more than surpassing our expectations! Unpretentious, Staplehouse felt like so much more than the exquisitely creative plates, more than the exceptional, friendly and knowledgeable service…way more than just a famous restaurant. My husband and I instantly felt welcomed like we were family guests. It was dining the way it should be …leisurely enjoying the tasting menu of yummy works of art with delightfully fascinating wine pairings in a comfortable atmosphere of genuine warmth and hospitality. I have some dietary issues that they accommodated beautifully without compromising the menu. There wasn’t anything on any one of the 10 delicious plates that both my husband and I didn’t thoroughly enjoy. Their gratitude motto embodies the heart of Staplehouse and seems to be contagious.

Brandon Sheu

Paper Crane has great cocktails

Nathan Good

good food

edward withers

Just ok. Considering the insanely high prices I can not recommend. Very disappointed after all the rave reviews and buzz it has received. Food is not bad but nothing great either. Everything was cold or lukewarm( I believe intentionally) and bland. Maybe I just want a fan of the menu that night and a different night could have been more to my taste, but given the high prices it's not worth the risk to try again. The staff and service were very good though.

Michael Coates

Outstanding tastes and impeccable service. Quite on the pricey side, but the experience should be enjoyed.

S G

Perfect little date spot! There is something fun on having dinner be a complete survise. I enjoyed not having any idea what would be on the menu the night we were there. All of the food was excellent. I wasn't a fan of the chicken liver tart (just wasn't for me) but my date thought it was incredible and ate the other half of mine. The row canolis were excellent and I hope they become a regular item there. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is how difficult it is to get a reservation and having to pay for everything (including tip) when the reservation is made a full month before. The staff was fantastic and I likely would have tipped more than the percentage the automatically add on

Lizette Evans

Had an amazing experience sitting at the bar with my husband. Jeremy took Great care of us and informed us about the history of the restaurant. Food and wine was delicious! My only complaint is that it was very pricey. Walked out spending 300+$. I'm glad we did it, just a bit over my budget.

Zach Walters

The atmosphere, experience, the food, the drinks, and the service are all top notch. We have been looking forward to trying Staplehouse for several months, and it exceeded our expectations! Definitely one to put on your list

Lee Ponder

The experience was great all the way through. Cocktails while we waited for our table were wonderful. The service, food and presentation were great.

Rashad Majeed

Very clean

Gracie Smith

Excellent food, great service!

Marcy Mira

The service from the host to the bartender and the owner were superb! Although the food presentation was great and the dishes looked amazing they lacked taste. The cornbread stuffed zucchini was uninspiring. The eggplant dish was bland. The best dish I had was the chicken liver tart.

Brad Kalinoski

Loved almost all the dishes. The overall atmosphere is fantastic. Not thrilled with choice of music and the volume. If I'm paying this much. Let me talk to my date, friends and the server.

Peggy Morehouse

Great place. Exceptional.

Jason Schneider

It is worth the hype. Impeccable service. Exquisite food.

Tom Torrey

Amazing flavors and top-notch service!

REENA DePaolo

The food was very good, presentation beautiful, don't think there should be such a long wait for reservations though. Popcorn dessert was creative. Love that their pairing included beer not only wine.

Timothy Aughinbaugh

Just left- absolutely phenominal! Best culinary experience of my life!

edwin herrera

Went for our anniversary. many seats overlook a creek that is lit at night. Menu is simple but well done, they welcome substitutions and portion size changes. Parking is good. reservations suggested as they do get busy. the staff is quite knowledgeable. The house wine is good.

Tonya Hotz

An absolutely fabulous experience. I highly recommend splurging on the wine pairing. Every course was expertly crafted and the wines were superb. The service was stellar. I plan to return the next time I am in Atlanta.

Dylan Judy

Amazing food and staff. Incredible attention to detail in every plate. Locally sourced ingredients. Highly recommended

Houston Searcy

I want to preface this by saying that I am not what one would consider a foodie. I like food, I certainly appreciate a well prepared meal, but I'm not the guy traveling the world to try every acclaimed restaurant. Staplehouse, though. Whew. This place is amazing. I had a few of the best dishes I've ever had in my life at this place. Every bite bursts with a symphony of flavors. Every bite is different. Everything I ate tasted amazing, bright, clean, and lovingly-crafted. The wait staff was also exceptional. They seemed genuinely proud to present each dish and explain its composition. They cared what we thought of the food, like actually cared and were happy that we enjoyed what we had. Of course all of this has its price, but if you're looking for a fantastic meal in a delightful environment, go to Staplehouse.

Stephen Mayper

Best meal we've had. Ever. Delicious, playful, creative. Service was excellent. Staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Incredible experience and supports a wonderful cause (The Giving Kitchen). Many thanks to Allison and the rest of the Staplehouse staff for a beautiful (and extremely memorable) anniversary dinner. P. S. Don't worry about trying to memorize your menu for the evening - they give you a list of all the awesome things you just ate at the very end of the meal.

Earl Cohen

A pleasant surprise. Probably rates at a Michelin 1-star level. Friendly staff, decent service, interesting food. We would go back.

Anna Bignault

This is the perfect place for a special occasion. Dining here is more of an experience than just a meal. Food and drinks were both incredible.

Haley Kelly

One of the top 3 restaurant meals I have ever experienced! Really loved sitting at the bar - the bartender and somm were phenomenal, the entire staff was attentive and the food was indescribably delicious! Cannot wait to go back next time we are in Atlanta!

Micah Jesse

A culinary experience unlike any other in Atlanta. Every dish is plated to perfection and the flavors burst in your mouth. A++++. Servers recommend 2+ dishes per person which are meant to share. Lunch for 3 will run you ~ $100

Darnell Davis

Poor service. I sat at the bar because I was in a hurry and it took 15 minutes to get a menu and offered water. Sitting next to me was a guy that ordered a particular type of milk shake and they got it wrong. The customer asked if he could have the incorrect shake as well as get the correct shake and the guy working behind the counter told him no in such a rude tone I decided to walk out. Not to mention the guy had been waiting there since the time I showed up. I noticed the lack of humility and decided that eating at this place would be a poor experience.

Yong-Kai Xu

Went there with my wife for my birthday. Service was poor from our waitress the rest of the staff were much better. Food was either too salty or the original flavor of the main ingredient was over powered by the sauce. Fresh? Not overly so. Expensive for what you get. My wife saw someone lick a spoon used to plate a desert and place it back in the spoon bin ,

Chris Willams

Great time.

Lamar Wayne

Strongly recommend! Amazing concept, service and food

Jennifer Hardesty

The food was amazing. If you want to try out new and interesting dishes, this is the place to go. Forewarning though, they do this family-style thing and suggest that each person order multiple dishes. This will add up; be prepared to lighten your wallet.

Antonia Morales

The food was all delicious. Very clean, open, industrial atmosphere. Tables are close together. Knowledgeable waitstaff. Great unique dining experience for special occasions or to impress out of town guests. Reservations are tricky to get. Read the website and make sure you are online exactly at the right time or you'll miss out.

brandy schuman

Great atmosphere & attentive staff along with creative and delicious food. A fave

Juan P Gonzalez

I was somewhat underwhelmed after all the hype. Don’t get me wrong. The food is tasty. However I feel it’s more about the experience and about surprising you with unexpected dishes than about great, delicious food. At times it felt almost gimmicky. I’m happpy I went, but I don’t think I’d do it again. My benchmark, just because of the price, was Bachanalia. The few times I’ve been there I walked out thinking “wow! That was delicious!”. Here I walked out thinking “that was fun!”.

Tom Paint

No dollar menu.

Millie Kwan

While I think that the concept, preparation, and presentation of the restaurant and food at this restaurant are fantastic, I think that the flavor was not quite at the same level. I certainly have had more memorable meals at other Atlanta restaurants in recent memory and also in other cities. Still worth a visit, but the cumbersome reservation system might be a stumbling block for some and if you don't have the patience of waiting for a specific day to garner a reservation, then there are certainly other worthy restaurants in Atlanta.

Garrett B

What a truly remarkable story and cuisine. This was one of the most delicious and eclectic meals I've ever had the good fortune to taste. I would recommend it to everyone! Just make sure to get a reservation in advance!

Martin DG

Amazing concept, service and food. Excellence is the standard from the moment you walk in.

Jason Hunter

Good food and atmosphere. Kinda expensive. Street parking or valet only.

Angel Latterell

Wonderful creative adult beverages in a lovely outdoor setting with great staff. Visiting from Seattle we were bummed we did not have reservations for the tasting menu- but we were able to get some tasty bites in with our cocktails and were treated like normal humans even without a reservation.

Julio Mestroni

Amazing dinner experience !!

Steve Trask

I am going to say that this was the best total dining experience I've ever had, anywhere. The staff was amazing. Even our waiter - this was his first night- was fantastic, and who knew it was his first night on the job? Definitely do the wine pairings. We started out with top notch cocktails (probably wasn't necessary with all the wine that kept coming later), and the food just keeps coming. Small plates of meticulously prepared flavor bombs and mouth explosions. How else can you describe how great this was? I loved that it was a casual atmosphere, not stuffy, but a wonderful dining adventure. Great job, you guys!

Tone enoT

A lit of great courses, worth the $$$ for exceptional food.

Fannie King

The food was all delicious. Very clean, open, industrial atmosphere. Tables are close together. Knowledgeable waitstaff. Great unique dining experience for special occasions or to impress out of town guests. Reservations are tricky to get. Read the website and make sure you are online exactly at the right time or you'll miss out.

l may

Maybe our expectations were too high or maybe Staplehouse is like The Emperor’s New Clothes. Dinner was quite creative, but it just didn’t taste great. The service was delightful, the atmosphere was charming and the beverage pairings (wine and beer) were quite tasty. We recently ate at Komi in DC and were looking forward to an experience in Atlanta that would give it a challenge. They weren’t even in the same ballpark. Next time, for a dinner treat, we will go back to Bacchanalia, Miller Union or Atlas.

Rachel Ragan

Absolutely worth every dollar spent in this place. Not only do you pay for amazing food and service, but it also comes with a world class adventure. I will be enjoying myself here again soon!

Don Richards-Boeff

Yes, price was in a different stratosphere. Yes, it was totally worth it. 9 courses later, all amaze save for one "meh" (and still better than many), stellar drinks by Eric at the bar, and it's a life-long memory. Destination restaurant experience, for sure. When we can (afford it again), we'll definitely return.

stan bouckaert

Went here with my wife for our 1-yr anniversary. It’s good food to be sure, but nowhere near the pomp and circumstance that surrounds it. I can think of 10 different restaurants where I could have better food for half the price. It was nice for an “occasion”, but I’ll probably never go back.

John Keller

Best restaurant in the Southeast US. Chef Smith is amazing. Service is great and the small dining room is intimate and wonderful

frdagaa

Good food and creative dishes, but I feel like the food needed some editing. At this level, there should be a level of refinement that was missing. The restaurant seems driven more by the ideas behind their food than the food itself. We had a beautiful crab dish but it had so many other ingredients, each of which admittedly sounded cool and tasted good, that the crab was COMPLETELY lost. Another example--they had some nice potato rolls, of which they touted the 14-year-old starter and the grandmothers recipe, but they were served with whipped olive oil. It was a cool trick to whip the olive oil (using some cocoa butter, btw), and it was good olive oil, and I love olive oil, but why not just a really good butter?!!!! Potatoes and butter simply pair better than potatoes and olive oil. I think they we just seduced by the idea of whipped olive oil. That theme ran through the meal. A good restaurant, but a disappointment given all the hype.

Nanna Plains

Very lovely place to eat my husband and I enjoyed the atmosphere at this location, came here due to the amazing reviews and they are correct with how great this place is.

Ohana M. Riley

The Service is Fast and Friendly, and the Food is Fresh and tasty.

Mehdi Jatlaoui

Tasting menu was flavourful but left me with an half empty stomach...

Madie Chadwell

The food: where do I even begin? The food was exciting, surprising, unexpected, but most of all extraordinary. Too many courses to count, each one more delicious than the last. There was one we, as a table, didn't love. But on the whole, everything was perfect. The service: kind, patient, charming. Our main server was Laura, though our experience was guided by a whole host of delightful individuals who created an welcoming, approachable, and warm evening. It was clear they cared deeply about the food, but we're not rude, braggy or ostentacious about it. They kindly put up w my endless questions about, well, everything and made sure we understood and appreciated all the details. The ambiance: tastefully decorated, not imposing, let the food shine. Overall, a fantastic experience I would recommend to anyone. Definitely not something I can afford to do regularly but definitely worthwhile I will cherish for a long while.

Chandler Creel

I have been to many, many restaurants all across the globe. This was simply the best dining experience I have ever had, key word being experience. I have heard that extremely well designed dishes can trigger emotional responses beyond the typical sight, smell, taste, and texture. I finally understand that after dining at Staplehouse.

Vadym Zhigolav

Pick up the phone NOW and make a reservation. Staplehouse is,simply stated,a gastronomic delight. Truly an incredible mixture of tastes with phenomenally friendly service! Ranks as one of the most outstanding food experiences I have had.

Sandra Simmons

Just an example of a few of the courses from Staplehouse last night. Our group of four was floored by the food and the service. We had the best conversations with Kara Hidinger, I am still thinking about her today! She is a true gem with a big heart. We all hugged her on our way out. I feel like I made a new friend but I am betting she makes everyone feel that way! When Willie asked her about the bricks in the building, yes, Willie loves bricks lol, Kara came to our table with historical documentation related to the building and old photos. She sat with us and told us all about the building, how fantastic of her! We talked to her about Abattoir, she was the GM there, and a friend of ours who still mourns the loss of it, and of course, Kara remembered our friend fondly. One distinct memory about the service last night - one member of our party was in the restroom when one of the ELEVEN courses was served. That person's plate was taken back to the kitchen to be kept warm and when our friend returned to the table, her plate appeared immediately. We all noticed this, it was the type of courtesy and attention to detail none of us expected. We'll talk about it forever, I can promise you that! The food, the food, the food! Just wow. And our server...the epitome of great service, everything was perfect, he answered every question, got us great information from the kitchen, had a wonderful suggestion on the wine and it was one of the least expensive too. I could go on and on and on. I would have more photos but usually don't even try in low light situations and in restaurants specifically. But my husband and friends encouraged it and all got out their cell phones to provide me more light haha! Now I wish I'd photographed ever course! Last notes. I am NOT an apple desert fan. That said, the apple desert last night might be the best desert I've ever eaten. To call it pecan cake, toasted hay ice cream with shaved, dehydrated apple slices does not fully encompass the wonder of that desert. Our server went and got me detailed instructions on the apples which involve a sheeter, which I have, and will he attempting at home. And yes, I said hay! P.S. The bread is made from a 15 year old starter and was served with thyme infused butter - incredibly flavorful, all of it. P.P.S. When everyone at the table agrees that one of their favorite course is the KALE, well, that never happens! Guarantee you would've agreed with us!

Jaime Gonza

I took my wife and 2 sons to Staplehouse the Friday after Thanksgiving. The multi-course tasting menu was just Okay from my point of view, the pairing wines were well selected, the service of our main waitress was colder than I expected, bottom line we didn't feel we were welcome there. I was expecting much more for a $850 experience. Good thing the money is used to support Giving Kitchen. I would like to think I just chose not a good day to go and that in general StapleHouse is not a bad choice so my recommendation is to avoid going there the day after Thanksgiving

The level of food preparation and use of ingredients is rather astounding. During our meal we shared about 5 or 6 dishes between my wife and me. The carrots was the first dish, absolutely AMAZING! So much flavor. We also had steak that night which was about 4 bites of meat. Very well prepared, but not a lot on that dish for the price (nothing is inexpensive here, but this was the one dish that felt overpriced). To us the highlight of the night was dessert! Truly something unique and special. It was a custard with frozen blood oranges, a cookie type brittle and then a dusting of a powder that melted in you mouth like a milky snow. The combination of textures, flavors, sweet and acidic, made for an amazing ending to the meal. It was so good we almost had a second one! Overall it was a great experience. I have to admire that we didn't realize how difficult it was to get a reservation here. We were lucky and invited by some friends. For how difficult it is to get a seat, I'm not sure it would be worth the extra trouble when it's easier to get into some of Atlanta's other fine restaurants.

I took my sister to staplehouse for lunch. We had so much food to eat and not as expensive as l expected. The food was served hot and fresh not stale. The waited Josephine was very nice and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely come back.

This restaurant lacks substance. The wine pairings are average at best. The reason we gave a 3* because the service was solid. At this level there are better options in Atlanta.

Lisa D. Amaker

Dine here as soon as you can! Inspired mission, food and wine pairings, coupled with attentive yet unobtrusive service make Staplehouse worth the effort to secure a reservation. Their chefs use uncommon varieties of foods you'll recognize, elevate them with creative flavor combos, and serve them like small pieces of art that invite but don't intimidate.

We have come here for 3 of 4 seasons (will hit fall next year). Always delicious, delightful, and so much fun. Love this type of adventurous tasting menu of 10 courses plus bonus artistic candies at the end. Cocktails and service are great. This is THE place to come for a celebration. Make sure you check their website and make a reservation in advance.

Phenomenal food and top rated service. We came with friends and ordered the entire menu. To me, that's the best way to experience this place. Go with a group, order everything. You won't regret it! Our server (I think his name is Jonathan?) Was amazing at explaining all the flavors in each dish. The liver tart, heirloom tomatoes, and scallops were my favorite. All though the beef tartare, eggplant, and beef cheek were equally as delicious. It really is hard to pick a true favorite when the entire menu is so good! I can't wait to visit again!

Intimate atmosphere with great service, food and drinks! We did Sunday night with a smaller menu, then drinks on the patio afterward!

Peter Goggi

The tasting menu is amazing

Joe Santifer

Staplehouse made our 25th anniversary an event to remember! Thank you so much for your kind care and attention!

Call ahead to make reservations. We only got to have cocktails and small plates because they were booked. Good cocktails though and the wait staff was excelent

Diners please read! We had a bad experience at this restaurant. They are currently serving a tasting menu. Every course that comes to the table is a surprise. While we really enjoyed three of the courses, the rest of the courses were either mediocre or unpalatable. It would have been a better experience if they had offered a replacement for some of the courses we sent back. However, this was never an option. We spoke with one of the owners about how displeased we were with our meal. It seems very clear that they value their awards more then their coustomers.

We went in the winter, so we weren't able to experience the outside seating, but the atmosphere was good otherwise. Service wasn't bad. The food was creative- I'll give it that. However, we spent a lot of money and ordered the majority of the menu and we left very hungry. If you're into the culinary arts and want to experience some inventive dishes then this may be for you. However, if you're looking to eat dinner you may want to venture somewhere else.

Food was fantastic. Not something you would get anywhere else. Wait staff was the most knowledgeable I've ever seen. They explained the intimate details of each dish. Impeccable service.

Flavio Albieri

It is a pleasantly unique experience.

Terri Chu

Such an amazing meal without being pretentious or too fussy. We loved our server and cannot wait to come back.

Dey Wlliams

I had the pleasure of hanging out with Brandon and Chris on NYE while waiting to catch a flight out They make amazing cocktails and are very knowledgeable about the food as well. I (now) understand why they are booked out until the second week of January! I'll definitely be back for dinner (pending my reservation).

Whitney logsdon

Fantastic tasting menu

John Lyle

Fun dinner with lots of interesting food.

Annie Bacha

The biggest disappointment ever. Customer service was phenomenal. The food did not live up to the hype whatsoever. My husband and I went for our anniversary and I was so excited to get a reservation. I tried to get one for his birthday but they were booked. Unfortunately I left the meal so hungry. I had to eat another dinner after this one. The best part about the meal was the drinks.

Thomasina Jacobs

Be there or be square! DO NOT BE LATE WITH YOUR RSVP..(KINDA CRAZY WITH ATL'S RUSH HOUR at opening hour with the restaurant. )Eating here is a true experience..I world never take the time and energy it takes to prepare what seems like a simple meal here. Excellent to ALL OF THE STAFF AT STAPLEHOUSE!

Chris Helms

Every part of our meal was spectacular. A truly wonderful dining experience!

Rachael Harper

Amazing food and experience. We love taking some time to slow down and appreciate carefully prepared and innovative cuisine.

Michael Giardino

We came for the Valentine's Day tasting menu and it was absolutely fantastic. It was everything it was hyped to be and more. The dishes were exquisitely prepared and delicious. Even when a dish wasn't my preference it was well executed and done for a reason. I can't recommend Staplehouse enough.

Connan Moody

Really well designed place. Loved the atmosphere. Drinks were good, food was good. Service took a little warming up but everyone was a delight.

Jason Zhu

Fancy food. Nice atmosphere. I think the food is not my style but I appreciate what they are trying to do. Nice staff.

Matthew Parker

Friendly and attentive service. The food was also amazing. Sophisticated food, but where many restaurants experiment in this manner and usually don't get everything right, every note was spot on. Good luck getting a reservation, but the bar is first come first served.

Anthony Deljou

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the food experience last night at this restaurant! The food was phenomenal, but my biggest gripe is that the tables are just too close for comfort. I get the whole communal experience, but when you have two loudmouths dropping the F-bomb with every other word out of their mouths, it kinda ruins everything good that is happening around you. I would have thought that at some point the staff would have said something to the people next to us, but it didn’t happen. I recommend the restaurant for the food, but be prepared to have your date night with the couple next to you.

Sheena Lee

Took my boyfriend for the Menu Tasting experience for his b-day; he REALLY enjoyed himself! Both the food and service were A1!

Bouquet Restaurant

Hands down the best meal I've ever had. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and polite. Would eat there every week if I lived closer by. Might move to Atlanta just to do that!

Jan Lauwers

Meticulously prepared food that is absolutely delcious with every bite. Every single bite was exquisite awesomeness

Ethel Burns

The food was all delicious. Very clean, open, industrial atmosphere. Tables are close together. Knowledgeable waitstaff. Great unique dining experience for special occasions or to impress out of town guests. Reservations are tricky to get. Read the website and make sure you are online exactly at the right time or you'll miss out.

Sam Maloney

We went to the paper crane bar above the dining room. It is super intimate and the cocktails were divine. The space is decorated with vintage flair and is very warm.

Hiren Patel

The food awoke taste buds that were dormant. Presentation was excellent. Seating on the patio created a nice open atmosphere.

Loren Browne

I actually came here on a date. It was a Tuesday. He made reservations the day of and we showed up at 6:00PM for dinner. The staff was friendly and the decor is quaint and charming. We ordered the Chef's tasting menu and although the portions were small, they were tasty. I wish there was more food, I hate leaving a place hungry - which is why I had to knock down some stars. I would come back gain but skip the tasting menu and try to order larger portions (if possible). Parking is Valet and if you can't make a reservation - show up art 5:00PM and the first six people in line can sit at the bar to dine. Enjoy!

Kat Leung

Wow a meal at Staplehouse is mind blowing!! Everything there is done to perfection, the service is like clockwork, you don't have to wait long in between courses and the cocktails are delicious. The meal servings are just right; there are so many courses and you want to make sure you eat every single morsel. Everyone is super friendly and the vibe is casual making the experience comfortable and even more enjoyable.

Christopher Smith

On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being "eat anything," I'm probably an 8. My wife is much pickier. We went for the tasting menu, and although I am an adventurous eater, it was a little much even for me. Our dishes included cured fish (fairly raw), scallops in a strong sauce made from shrimp, and chicken liver tart. It was just too high-brow for my taste. However, the service was excellent, from the time I made the reservation until the valet retrieved our car. The atmosphere was more formal than a lower-end restaurant, but relatively cozy. They even brought us an additional dish when they noticed my wife wasn't eating some of her food. Overall, everything is professionally done. But I have had more enjoyable tasting menus.

Sheri Prew

Great food, atmosphere. Love it

Alan Erera

We had a fantastic time here. This was the best fine dining experience I've had in Atlanta in a decade and probably a top 5 meal ever. Really creative work with vegetables especially. Great service and a great space, especially closer to the kitchen end of the room. Enjoy!

Jon W. Lee

What an awesome experience. Great food and service. Foods were very delicate and delicious. Portions were small. You might need to stop by at fast-food after this. Me and my wife ordered 5 plates of food and 1 dessert. Cocktail was very good as well. I am definitely coming back again.

Andy Zagajeski

Was a great experience.

Hunter Pierpont

Tremendous experience. Highly sought after. Meal was reserved and PAID for one month in advance. Delightful series of 10 dishes ranging from asparagus and peas to duck and ribeye tartare. Delightful atmosphere and very professional staff. Very small, less than 20 tables.

Jason M

Fantastic. Wonderful service. Some of the best food I’ve ever eaten in my life. Worth every dollar.

Mara Bryan

Restaurants do not get better than this! No one is putting in as much efforts as this staff! Everything is mind blowing
