Excellent
Good food. Decent prices
Walk past this place all the time and tried it for the first time! So good!
Great Korean soul and breakfast
Grabbed the Sokome Burger with sesame fries. A great fusion of classic American style burger and fries with sweet sesame, sweet chilli and Asian slaw to give it a great palette shift
So this is my third time coming and I am getting the two tacos. If they're as good as everything else, I will be coming back for a long time!!! Love their bowls as well.
Everything you can love about Mexican, Korean, and Southern BBQ all in one spot. Their signature -Fried Guacamole- is probably a good reason to drop the Korean bbq beef or any other meat on any entree you get. Get it wrapped in a tortilla, in a bowl, or even as a standard sandwich. And don't forget the kimchi.
Great food! Excellent, mighty fine service. This is my new favorite reasonably priced daily breakfast spot.
The food was great. Im going to try their whole menu each day if i have to
Ordered through the ritual app while in-between classes at GSU. I arrived at the estimated ready time but they have yet to even start the order. The lady at the register was really nice it was her first day but the guy making the order completely ignored me and my ticket and just kept talking to this lady who walked in after I did. He finally made my order after 6 minutes of me waiting and way past my estimated ready time. I was late for class due to this. The guy was rude. Overall the food was great and made up to the poor customer service. I really liked the fried avocado tacos!
Amazing, one of the best places downtown for lunch. The rice bowls and sokome burger are really good.
Sokeme rice are great. You have plenty of addons to choose from. This is one of my favorite lunch spots.
The food is really good at Sokome. My co workers and I go there for lunch at least once a week. I've had the salad bowl and their tacos and it is always delicious with fresh toppings.
My breakfast sandwich is on point. The butter Roll adds a nice subtle sweet flavor. I will come back for lunch and update my review then. I will be coming back breakfast.
Love the service here
The food was delicious! The service is fast and the location is very convenient.
I truly enjoyed my breakfast quesadilla! And the wings are also delicious!!!
Sokome is my new favorite place to eat lunch downtown
Food is awesome! I would highly recommend! Service is great and staff is always friendly and helpful!
If you are downtown near Marietta Street, this is a great lunch spot especially if you don’t want to eat too heavy. I go on Tuesdays when they have Taco specials and I love it. Also their breakfast is great! I always get the sausage egg and cheese sandwich and it’s delicious.
Great service! Friendly smiles! The food is sooo yummy! This is now my go-to spot for lunch
The food is delicious and the staff is friendly. I've ordered both breakfast and lunch items and they both have been satisfying.
Great food customer service was great will definitely come again.
Been coming to SOKOME a lot their food is very unique and tasty especially the breakfast!
Great healthy choices.
The people there were helpful and patient, great customer service! To boot, the food was delicious and the menu choices are unique!
I normally go here once a week and I have never had a bad experience. The food is very good and reasonably priced. I recommend the daily specials. Korean wings and the tacos are my favorite. They lose one star for two reasons. The drink machine seems to always be missing something and their main employee is a bit lacking in personality. She does a great job but just seems like she would rather be somewhere else. Fair enough. All and all. Great place to eat
Not the sams as when they first opened. The Kochi is not authentic anymore and the flavor is not there.
Good and fresh food, nice crew, excellent customer service
Great idea and great food. Nice people working inside.
The Korean pulled pork is to die for. Awesome options and great staff!
Great portions for the price!! Good service
Quesadillas are the BEST!! I’ve eaten here multiple times. Highly recommend!
This is the best restaurant downtown. Everytime I go I get good service. There load hash are to die for and taco tuesday are the best. If you are in the area. This is a must go to restaurant. Violet is a sweet heart and the cook is the best.
I tried a breakfast sandwich a coworker ordered just a couple weeks ago and it was so delicious! The sandwich had many layers of flavors. I went to SoKoMe today, and the recipe had completely changed. A sandwich that once had kimchi pimento cheese, a delicious sauce, and other toppings is now just a bun with sausage and cheese. For the same price. The sandwich had zero Southern, Korean or Mexican elements, which I understood to be the cornerstone of their brand. The sandwich was good, and would have be given a higher rating, but the disappointment in the menu change is to blame for the low rating.
Had the big breakfast platter yesterday. Turkey sausage patty, egg, home fries and a roll. Excellent flavor and excellent customer service. I'll try the french toast tomorrow.
It was so savory. The staff was very welcoming and sociable. It has a great interior. This place has positive reviews for a reason.
The rice bowl is great!
Great food!
They are awesome!
GREAT food, variety, and value meal days too!! The staff here is AWESOME, just a great atmosphere altogether....one of my favorite DT spots!
Friendly staff and great food. Will return again
My first experience last was beyond amazing . Will definitely be a regular lunch spot for me !!
Amazing food, a hidden gem in Atlanta.
Excelent customer service great experience
WAY TOO GREASY! Not juicy...I threw them away
The wings and dumplings are good here, but the fries are always soggy. I'm not a good judge of the other food items as I've not tried them all yet.
The food is great and the staff is always helpful and accommodating to make sure your meal is prepared to your liking.
Overrated TBH. I had Korean taco and fried chicken taco. They were MEH....a little cold. Lots of cabbage and lettuce and a few pieces of meat.
Good Fried Chicken Sandwich! Short lines.
Honestly, the greatest food I’ve ever tasted.
Best Lorena bbq in town and friendly staff all the time. Quick and easy, totally affordable!
The bowls are delicious! The vegetables are fresh and the service is wonderful. I definitely recommend eating here.
Just a great, delicious little place! All of the specialty Korean sauces are fantastic, and they have a special every weekday to keep my lunches interesting! Absolutely love them!
This place is great and my go to for food. Their prices are great and great portions. If you ask anyone in my office what they think, they will tell you the same.
Dined in and I loved it! The amount of food you get is amazing and the price is perfect for the what you’re getting. Also love the amount of toppings you can add
First 2 times I visited, I had the Korean fried chicken sandwich. Was really good. It was freshly cooked, so you have to wait a bit. But was worth it. My third time was a disaster. Ketchup for my fries was a dirty Heinz bottle like the ones you would by at the grocery store. And my sandwich was tough, like it's warmed over. They need to do a better job training their service staff. Not professional at all.
What a cool place. At its most basic level, it's a Korean Moe's in that you pick what you'd like to have on your burrito/bowl, and they make it in front of you. But the ingredients you can choose from is where things get interesting, and its what makes this place unique and awesome. You have a variety of korean/southern fusion proteins and toppings to choose from, such as beef bulgogi, pickled daikon, and KIMCHI PIMIENTO CHEESE (yes!). Everything I tried was delicious. Though the burrito/bowl bar seems to be the obvious choice, they also offer a variety of other entrees that are cooked fresh to order, such as a bulgogi philly, korean fried chicken, and quesadillas. I had the fried chicken sandwich (which comes with fried pickles on it), with added daikon and kimchi pimiento and it was fantastic. The sesame fries are also sweet deliciousness. I highly recommend this place for something different! Also, the customer service is stellar. The employees are more than willing to tell you about any ingredient that might pique your interest, and they are just friendly in general. Thanks!
Enjoyed the bowl, different veggies and the Asian coleslaw is the bomb! Try it!!
Great food great location. Will be here again!!!
Love this place!
I got the bacon cheeseburger with an egg on it and it was DELICIOUS! The fries were cooked perfectly and the toppings were fresh - and let's not forget about the superb sweet tea! The staff was very friendly and provided answers to all of my questions. Great restaurant, hands down! I'm on my way there again NOW!
I ordered the burrito with teriyaki chicken, kimchi pimento, guac, and other delicious toppings. It was AMAZING! Very delicious! The customer service was great. Everything was made fresh. I will be back soon!
The customer service was great as well as the food! I have added this to my go to list!
Decent food, willing to give you free food for a good review
excellent Banh mi! the best in atl.. The pork bowls are amazing as well!! must try!
Place was great! Amazing food and amazing customer service.
Great restaurant! I have been working in the area this whole week and have ate here everyday!
Fair food.
The food is very good; but they really need more staff to cook. When you have an hour for lunch, and it's taking 30-40 minutes to get your food, with no explanation as to why.
I really enjoy Taco Tuesday. Brisket is the best but come early, often it runs out fast. (The only reason I did not give them 5 stars) Friendly staff and owner is usually working alongside taking orders and hustling food orders in the kitchen. Check them out for daily specials.
This place is the bomb. Everything I've tried so far is really good. I recommend the Sokome burger, and you can't go wrong with any of the tacos. There aren't too many options for vegetarians but there is a fried avocado taco. It's pretty affordable too and the service is quick and polite.
Please bring the mushrooms back..... Lol Food is delicious!!
Great breakfast
Friendly respectful staff and foo was just amazing
This place is great! The fusion of flavors works really well, and the staff are always friendly.
The food is really good. Most definitely the burgers. And the staff is nice and clean
My first time going was on Taco Tuesday. I was expecting small handheld tacos, so I ordered 4. WOW, the food was amazing! I would recommend the fried chicken taco, sweet and spicy pork taco, and the fries were excellent. The staff did an excellent job handling the busy lunch rush. I was glad that a lot of people were there, hopefully indicative of it being a good place to eat. Food was quick for the amount I ordered, portions were perfect!
Came in at the last minute for breakfast and still got served... customer service was great (Abby was awesome!), and food tasty!
Love the French toast!!!
Good customer service tasty food
Lemme tell you what.....The Cuban sandwich was awesome beyond my expectations. I did not expect ham and pulled pork to mesh so well together. So good I got another for the road. Great staff, very nice and very welcoming. I will be here again and again.
I just started working in the area, and heard great things about this place, so I decided to try it out! I’m in love!!! Sooooo good! Great service also!!!
I found this place while exploring downtown in between classes. OMG it’s great! Literally everythingon the menu is amazing and I highly recommend you eat here!
The owner provides good customer service.
Come here every week. Fresh food and flavor. Solid pricing. Efficient speed. Best place for lunch in the area. They may run out of certain toppings every now and then which can upsetting sometimes, so get it before the rush.
I have gone to this place twice and I loved my food, customer service, cleanliness of the place. It's in a great location. I recommend everyone to try this place, you want be disappointed......
Excellent atmosphere food is great too!
I have been stalking this place since before it was open and it did not disappoint! I love the beef brisket for breakfast and for lunch. The staff is very knowledgeable about the menu so you know exactly what you’re getting
Nice staff; friendly environment and awsom food!
I get the SoKOMe burger. Awesome flavor, best burger I've had In a long time. Very unique. Also, the owner has been here helping work the counter both times that I have been, he's a nice guy and keeps things going smoothly.
The Sokome Burger was DELICIOUS and again took the Best from Korea and America and brought them together into an amazing trip down comfort food lane.I can't understand why there isn't a line out the Door. Prices are Super Reasonable and Service is quick, friendly and efficient.
SOKOME has become my #1 favorite restaurant in all of Atlanta. The beef brisket on the loaded hash is AMAZING. I am officially addicted to this Southern Korean & Mexican infused restaurant.
I liked the Asian chicken wings.
The food is always on fleek. I love the tacos and the bowls. The Tuesday Tacos my fav.
My experience was great! I had the banh mi sandwich with sesame fries. Cannot wait to go back and try the rest of the menu
Great customer service! Cashier was very friendly!
The Food Is amazing. I have eaten Here Plenty of times. I recommend this Place to anyone. The atmosphere is peaceful along with great customer service.
Awesome place
Best place on campus to it. It's a shame they close before most people even have their lunch breaks. I gotta get my meal before i go into work bc they close earlier than banks do for some crazy reason.
I have been here twice for lunch got 2 tacos the first time pulled pork and brisket. The pulled pork was delicious and brisket was ok could use more seasoning. The second time I got the pulled pork sandwich there was too much and not enough meat at all and the meat was a bit tough and dry. I may return for the 2 for $5 taco special.
Alway professional and the food is great! The staff is always warm and helpful and it's perfectly located to my place of employment!
Omg!!!! The food is so Delicious. You should download the ritual app. They will have your food ready so fast. I’m on my way there now!
I eat here for breakfast almost every day. The food is amazing! The staff is super friendly. My wife is Korean, so I know my way around the food. Southern Korean Mexican. It blends perfectly!
Im basically a regular here, get the burrito bowl every time. The owners mom makes the kimchi fresh, and its some of the best kimchi ive had in atlanta. ive also tried the fried chicken sandwich and its very good.
Good food, services is ok
I work in the city and this is on my top five as a matter fact their #1 in my book.
I've never been to the actual restaurant but they come with Fooda to my office complex and the food was great. I was actually surprised at how much I liked it. The rice bowls are great.
OMG, I just finished eating my Smoked pork sausage sandwich for breakfast. This was just E X T R E M E L Y delicious! Thank you for combining so many great flavors.
The food is amazing, the employees are amazing. Tried for the first time and was very impressed. Super fast, ordered using ritual and as soon as we arrived they had our orders completed.
Veggie burgers are pretty good. I wish they had more options for vegetarian tacos.
I'm happy to have a restaurant in our building especially with Atlanta weather . It's great to have a close restaurant that caters to those who have dietary restrictions. I'm in love with the Veggie Burger!
Good customer service!
After I started working downtown, I came across Sokome and decided to give it a try. Ever since my first experience, I’ve eaten it at least one time a week. Their great customer service and weekly specials have secured my loyalty. And the food is great!!!! Get the Korean BBQ sauce on the side.
This place is great..it has great service, great food and great specials. I come every week to grab one of there weekly specials. Recommend getting the Korean BBQ brisket tacos.
Had the sokome burger-- excellent! They were swamped during lunch rush, but staff were patient and calm with demanding customers and got the line moving. Highly recommended
This is one of my wife's and my most coming restaurants during our school days. The foods are really good, as well as the service. We strongly recommend the spicy pork here, you can have it through ordering a bowl or a Cuban. Be quick, the pork can be out of stock soon!
The Korean BBQ brisket philly was awesome. The Korean bbq banh mi was also good. The fries were too salty.
Service slow during lunch hour...special not worth it....overpriced....just go to broad street!!!
I'm giving it 3 stars because the food is good and the service at one time was great. However, lately the customer service and the people working behind the counter are not at the level they once were. I came in and was told that lunch wouldn't be served until noon due to a large order. Totally Understandable. When I come back, I had three people that work there, yell at "We ain't got no fried chicken". Then when I called to find out how long it would be until it was ready, I got three people yelling so loud, that I was able to hear them in the back thru the phone! When I arrived, I asked "Do you have fried chicken?" I was meet with a hard eye roll and then she nodded her head. No verbal yes. I got an attitude for asking a valid question. Customer service has gone down. Also the cashier and cook were about to fight each other the day before!
Pulled pork bowl was delicious. Meat was seasoned and smoked to perfection!
I love that they have a lot of regulars. it's impressive when someone walks in the door and they start working on their order before they reach the counter. It is taco Tuesday so I ordered two sets of tacos... One teriyaki one BBQ brisket. They were both delicious. and the ladies behind the counter very helpful since it was my first time. Definitely coming back next time I'm in downtown ATL
Omg my First time visiting was last week on taco Tuesday. the tacos were AMAZING!! Definitely try the fried avocado taco. Delicious. Can't wait for my next visit.
The food is basic but fresh, tasty and inexpensive. Cheerful staff
I have to say, perfect place to go for lunch particularly if you're working in the area. Daily specials during the week. The fried chicken is great and the wings are tasty for sure. It's one of my go to places for lunch, good food and a local business. Win win.
Chicken biscuit was good.
The veggie burger was so delicious! Owner is the coolest!
Great customer service, friendly environment and excellent food to go along with 2 things make for a wonderful dining experience. I highly recommend this establishment.
They came to my work today through the food program. So so so so so so many much better Asian style restaurants to eat at in Atlanta. They had rice that looked like it was overcooked, filled with cheap green beans and corn bits that look like it came out of a 75 cent can. (if you are going to run an Asian style resutrant you have to get the rice correct). The quality of the meat was gross. I got the pork, very bland, super chewy with lots of tendons. The sides they had to go along with rice / noddle bowls were Asian slaw (that was okay) and things like black beans, shredded cheese, and pico de gallo (the tomatoes looked like they were poor quality and super watery, could see through the slices they were so transparent). How on earth do beans and shredded cheese go along with Korean glass noodles? My expectations for lunch catering is never very high, but this was by far the worst restaurant to ever come through the Foda program.
