Here's the deal with One Flew South - it is decent but vastly over-hyped. It's a more food forward / upscale airport dining experience that for sure seemed incredibly novel 5 years ago but is decidedly less so now. The food is good. Sushi is fine not special, I used to love the BLT but last time they didn't have it. The bowls are enjoyable. But just manage your expectations.

Andrew Agustin

A respite from the busy goings on at one of the worlds busiest airport. Space takes you away to a more sublime and non-standard airport fare. Sushi is fresh and well crafted. Menu is inventive and reflects southern charm and ingredients. Truly a gem.

Andrea Reid

Quality Meals and the setting here is super good. The bill was well within reason for the quality. Kinda of like a restaurant in Los Angeles I liked to visit.

David Isom

Sounds like a great place to eat, if you're not black. I waited over 30 minutes to be served. I finally said something after TWO couples (not black) got served before me, after being seated after me. I let the first couple pass, since the order was different, but when the second couple was served, same food, same waiter, I was done. H.O.R.R.I.B.L.E. S.E.R.V.I.C.E HOPE THE FOOD IS GOOD, I HAD TO GET IT TO GO. Racism is Alive and Well at One Flew South.

This place is a total gem in the airport at ATL. Fine dining in an airport - thank you! Get the pork belly it’s life changing according to Norm my bartender. It doesn’t disappoint. It’s fantastic actually. Let Norm do your wine paring. He knows his stuff. Best restaurant experience ever in an airport. 6 stars.

Mary Farmer

The sushi was very very fresh. It's the best restaurant at the airport. They had Aperol Spritz to remind us of Sicily, where we just flew in from.

David Palfery

I had the Sushi and it was good, not great. I ordered a diet coke and the served me one of those $3 4oz little bottles this is the main readin I knocked off a star. The service was good and pleasent. I enjoyed the atmosphere. All in all a pretty decent airport place.

Aleksi Rainio

Sat at sushi bar, chefs never closed their fish freezer door, letting it all get to room temperature. Service was slow, got my drink after i finished my roll..

Love this restaurant. I plan to eat here whenever I pass through Atlanta. The food is fresh, innovative, delicious! Wait staff will guide you to the best of the best dishes on the current menu. CJ directed me to the poke tacos and the kale salad with bacon vinaigrette. The tacos were outstanding! Light, crispy, perfect before an over seas flight. Baby kale fresh, tender, not over dressed. Eat here, then sleep on the plane and skip the nasty plane food. Worth every extra penny.

I wanted to like this place but I'm afraid that it doesn't live up to the hype. The BLT was rather sad with cold (and oddly) sugar crusted bacon that was overpoweringly smokey. Hoping that the first time was a fluke, I gave the restaurant another chance weeks later and decided to go with the signature meatloaf dish. Unfortunately, the only thing on my plate was disappointment. The room temperature blob of mystery meat on my plate was heavily coated with bad tasting and overly smokey BBQ sauce. The restaurant decor is rather nice and the drinks were good although pricing was on the high side. The restaurant definitely does a good job on presentation/plating. Sadly, the food did not taste as good as it looked. All in all, I think more satisfaction can be found elsewhere.

Barrett

Best airport food ever. Great liquor list.

Robert S

Have been here several times, now make sure to visit every time we go through the airport, which is a lot since we tend to fly Delta. For a place in an airport you're going to have a hard time finding one with better food and drinks. Genuinely interesting and good food, and the bartenders know how to make some (for me) exotic but very good cocktails. We tend to sit at the bar and the comraderie with the bartenders and other guests has always been great.

Mary Lee Ball

Amazing staff, reliably great food, even for a non-airport restaurant. However, this is probably my favorite airport restaurant in the world. Their always changing craft beer menu is a huge bonus to the top quality sushi.

Louis Watson

Excellent NY Strip with veggies in a horseradish sauce! Excellent and quick service.

Jason Nelson

Amazing food. No doubt at all. Probably the best airport food in the country, if not the world. Had the pork belly, which is to die for. Do yourself a favor and have a meal here if you find yourself at ATL for a little bit.

Ben Klepzig

Delicious. We enjoyed some cocktails, sushi, poke tacos and the seoul burger. All tasty and not too spendy for what you get. Recommended.

Ryan Schwartz

Fast service. Edamame was very good. Chicken soup seriously lacked flavor.

Brandy Howard

Great place for a snack and a drink while you await your flight out of Atlanta. I had some very delicious sea scallops and a wonderful spritz. I will likely get a meal here again next time I fly through here and try the sushi. The staff was very friendly and helpful with suggestions. The atmosphere was also very nice.

Dustin L. Checkai

Really great flavors and service. Had fish, burger and sushi; all good!

I traveled through Atlanta a few years back with my Daughter. We were talking about that trip last night, and my daughter remembered the BLT sandwich from this very restaurant from 2 years ago. It truly was an amazing sandwich, we were laid over in Atlanta for 6 hours and had 2 of them, on the way back we had a much shorter lay over but made time for one more. Can’t wait to stop by again someday for another! Great atmosphere, clean, and an awesome BLT!

Ed M

Who would've thought you could get good sushi in an airport (that isn't in Japan)? Although a bit pricey, it is very good quality fish and well made. The other dishes looked interesting and I also ended up getting the pork belly - while it was tasty, I preferred the sushi. I didn't sit at the sushi bar though it did look nice and I'd try that next time.

Daniel Jacobs

As a frequent flyer, I first discovered One Flew about 5 years ago. This quickly became my Friday night dinner spot when I came through Atlanta. From the amazing menu, fresh sushi, to the top shelf bar, you will not not be disappointed! Hands down best food in the airport you will have. If you have more than an hour layover, it's worth the trip to e concourse for this experience.

I decided to try this restaurant strictly based on TripAdvisor reviews. I am so happy I tried it out. This hands down will be my go to restaurant every time I fly through ATL. Not only is the food absolutely fabulous (I had the pork belly entree) but the service is top notch. The bartender made a drink for me strictly based on my recollection of one that I had in LA and he made it perfectly. Not only did he recreate the same great drink that I had previously but he named it "Seat #2,obviously from where I was seated. For those who like bourbon, I highly recommend asking Clay (bartender) for a "Seat #2" drink...you will not be disappointed. Now to the service, the manager Will has a lock on service. Very attentive and engaging. I literally watched him find common ground with just about every customer that walked in the door. I even watch a couple ask to have their picture taken with him. Now that defines customer service! Lastly, the food is amazing. Chef Cedric created a pork belly entree that rivals any 5* restaurant that I have been to....and I travel quite a bit...have tried many restaurants. So not to continue to gush about One Flew South, but I am truly impressed and quite honestly, a bit surprised considering it is an airport restaurant. For Will and his staff, keep doing the phenomenal job you are doing...it is truly impressive.

Samantha Maxim

Came here for lunch during our layover after seeing the high reviews. I wasn't expecting much but I was completely blown away. The food was fantastic. We split the Creole Shrimp Toast as an app. It was grilled bread soaked in a shrimp broth, with Creole shrimp and tomatoes. It was the kind of dish that made you want to lick the bowl when you're done. I had the duck confit sandwich after that and I swapped the coleslaw side for fries with black truffle sauce. Again, fantastic. Our waiter was funny, professional, and prompt. I couldn't have asked for more! If we're stuck in Atlanta again, I know where we are going.

William Archer

I had some extra time before a flight and did my usual ritual of seeing what the best food in the airport was according to thrillist when this restaurant was mentioned as perhaps the best airport restaurant in the world. I went in almost expecting to be let down from that sort of hype but it honestly lived up fully. The prices are absolutely airport reasonable and I was able to sample both the sushi and the truffley BLT. Not only did I enjoy every bite but I had the pleasure of getting to sit at the sushi bar while the executive chef prepared food in front of me. His openness, demeanor, and interaction with the staff was just a cherry on top of a great meal. I will absolutely be back the next time I'm in Atlanta.

M Glaze

A little upscale, nice restaurant, good food. I had the arugula salad, my wife had the sushi. Make sure you have enough time before your flight as it is a sit-down-and-waiter-take-your-order establishment. The waiter was always sure to ask about how much time you have when taking your order.

Edward Siewick

Upscale dining in a classy though low key decor -- unique for a busy, major international airport. This was "plan B" for our 25th wedding anniversary; we ran out of time before our flight for the originally planned dinner. So, no romantic candlelight. But, the meal was a delight all the same.

Mark Crowther

Trapped in Hartsfield for 5 hours. Asked Google for best restaurant. Did not disappoint. Great food, nice beer selection and wait staff was really good. Burned a couple of hours. Certainly not airport food as I have ever known it. Expect to pay for great food and service - but if you have a while and want something very out of the ordinary for an airport I would recommend strongly.

Chris McCune

Can't go wrong, best airport restaurant period. Awesome sushi and the pork belly or pulled duck are yummy!

Alexander Ucci

Delicious. Best airport food I've ever eaten. Beats the heck out of the other options in Atlanta if you have the time to spare.

Jess Demmler

Excellent food and service. The dirty south is delicious. Paired well with the ironmonger double IPA on draft.

Scott Latham

After asking the host if 45 minutes was enough time for lunch, the server returned to the table three times with substitutions and finally admitted today is a training day in the kitchen, and that our food would be late. We left after 30 minutes without lunch.

Geno Villafano

Expensive but the prices match the quality of the food for the most part, so it's almost a more reasonable expenditure than other low quality dinning options in the vicinity. Great knowledgeable table service with some of the finest quality sushi I've had as of late. Fish was well aged to tenderness and seasoned with wasabi just enough. The rice was also well acidified without being overly tart or sweet. The more adventurous "southern roll" I tried was a delicious oddity that had sweet smokey savory notes far removed from any sushi dish I've ever tried. The tuna tacos were delicious, fresh and zesty with a satisfying fried shell. If it was cheaper or more accessible I would have loved to try more of their menu.

Gerald Jorgensen

Root Down in Denver DIA kicks their butt

Justin Carabello

Totally amazing. Sushi... Great restaurant. I forgot I was inside an airport!

Conor Park

Top tier, a place john wick would go to

Mark Sprague

Very nice garden roll. Pulled duck sandwich was also quite good. Service is quick - a must have for a restaurant serving travelers waiting to board their next flight.

Denise Wall

What is not to love? We had a short-ish layover at ATL, but plenty of time for this meal. Pork belly sliders that were insanely delicious, plus, this doesn't sound as amazing, but was one of the best tastes I've had in 2018,

Matt Clarke

This is a really great airport restaurant, a must stop if you're in Atlanta. Amazing sushi and burgers.

Allen McClard

Had a little over an hour before my flight departed and grabbed a seat at the bar. Immediately ordered the dirty south sandwich. Around the 25 minute mark I asked the bartender for an ETA. She said “probably a few more minutes”. 10 minutes passed and she finally went and checked. Came back and said it would be 10 more minutes. Waited another 15. Still no sandwich. So I left. Boarded my flight. No dinner. I would not recommend this place unless you’ve got a long layover. And definitely ask how long the wait is on food.

Matt Wasilowski

Awesome Asian restaurant in the Atlanta Airport. Highly recommend the banh mi. It's was an unlisted special, but was super delicious

Lindsey Zepponi

Delicious. Airport food. Seriously! If you are in Atlanta for an extended layover, that is the location to have a meal. I attempted their Springer Mt. Chicken Breast , that is a Springer Mt. Chicken Breast with kimchi and it became scrumptious. My acquaintances had sushi, which also seemed appropriate. I'll be returned!

Jessica Meuse

One of the better restaurants in the ATL airport! Service is decent. Lots of food and drink options. Great wine list - in photos. It can be a tad noisy during busy hours, and service suffers a little bit, but it’s an overall great upscale vibe and a good place to grab a drink or some sushi before a flight.

SONARconnects .

The best restaurant at the airport. Order the Dirty South... you will not be disappointed!!

Ken Woods

Great reviews. I would give this place a ZERO for cleanliness. It was so disgusting. Hair and food in my chair. Cleaned it off and sat down. Looked at the table and it was absolutely gross. So gross we went to TGI Friday's. I would not trust the kitchen.

Scott Cassie

Great find on E concourse! A real restaurant! Fantastic food ... try the black cod and the banana pudding ... with smooth cocktails in a non-airport atmosphere. A shout out is also deserved of the knowledgeable wait staff as well. Don’t be put off by the prices as well worth it. Worth an extended layover.

George Simon

My flight was overbooked and I ended up having a few extra hours in the airport. I am SO glad I decided to check out One Flew South! The cocktails were great and creative, and I thoroughly enjoyed the duck confit sandwich. Highly suggest this place for a delicious bite if you're stranded/have a bit of time.

Heidi O'Connor

An excellent place to recharge and unwind in the Atlanta airport. The southern rail is in particular quite good. Very efficient service and accommodating to travelers on a schedule.

Adam Dempsey

Third time I've eaten here. The sushi never disappoints! Highly recommended for anyone flying through ATL.

Josh F

I really wanted to love One Flew South, and the menu looked exciting. It just didn't seem to live up to the hype for me. I started with a salad that had all the right flavors but the dressing was just waaay too sweet. Then I had their burger that sounded really amazing but it had too much going on: Bacon AND cheese AND kimchee AND Seoul sauce (a jelly of sorts)... Any two of these would have been great but all four was less Harmony and more cacophony. Service was friendly and attentive though the waiter Shelley overwhelmingly of wet dish rag. Anyway, still a nice fancy place for an airport but for the prices and reputation I expect a little higher standard.

Sean Patronis

Solid food and drink choices for the ATL airport. Staff is efficient and makes sure you get to your flight on time. I would go back again.

Randy Nuss

Best airport eatery I've ever experienced. Pricey but worth it. Super food and service. Prepare to be wowed.

Scott Harvey

Great service, with very good food, dirty south sandwich was very good.

chasles22

I.book longer layovers to be able to eat here. Food is amazing and creative. Alcohol selection is terrific. Staff is outstanding. I would drive crosstown in any city in the world for this place. It's a don't miss.

Josiah Carlson

Usually love this place. Today was hopefully a rare let down. We were sat quickly but our server never came even after asking for one twice. We saw three tables get sat, had water and orders taken while we waited. No one checked in with us until we left. Hope this doesn’t happen to you!

Andrew Mackenzie

Food was fine. Was quite busy and service was patchy....had to ask for everything 3 times.

Gary Knight

Simply outstanding sushi restaurant in the midst of Concourse E of the Atlanta airport. Staff is helpful navigating the complex men.

Nora Venezky

Had fantastic quick service and yummy food! John was so friendly and gave great recommendations. Had the California and Southern rolls, hit the spot!

Dutch Vision solutions DVS

Excelent service by their staff asking for your departure time so they can advise on your choice of meal. Well done! Food is easely surpassing what one might expect for an airport restaurant so both thumbs up for "One Flew South"!

Paula Smith

OMG! This is a REAL restaurant on E concourse in the Atlanta airport!! My dinner was AMAZING....I had the “Dirty South”. There were so many different flavors going on with this dish. I savored every bite! I would highly recommend One Flew South to anyone traveling through the Atlanta airport and has time to linger over excellent southern food!

Benjamin Spahn

Best spot at ATL for great cocktails and food while people watching in Terminal E

Geoff Shrimpton

Has to be one of the best airport eating places Ive been to, great staff and really nice food. Great to get vegetables not smothered in cheese or fully loaded

Jerome Keating

Best airport food I’ve ever had!! Waiter awesome!! Can’t say enough good things about this place!!

Karen Jackson

Had a really long layover and needed to sit down for a delicious meal. This place did not disappoint! I had a pulled duck sandwich, coleslaw and sweet potato fries. It was rich and delicious.

Rebecca Tydings

Why is One Flew South closed right now with no known opening time on the busiest airport day of the year? Called and they can’t give any idea of when they will open today.

Mike Wilde

My youngest son and I share an appreciation of good sushi and a good sushi experience. I am saddened that my sushi "co pilot" was not with me for this one! I walked in, not really knowing what to expect, and I was seated at a table. Jason came to my table, introduced himself, and asked what time my flight left. Throughout my time at the table with my meal, I heard him ask every patron about flight departure. Then it began to come together. The staff do whatever they can to accommodate your rush, OR your relaxation. Very nice, very nice indeed. Well done staff! Food? The Kamakazi roll was beautifully executed, taste was brilliant and defined. Special roll was Mungfish lung done Nigiri style and it was unbelievable! And to think I was hesitant...! I genuinely hope to return to this establishment. The co pilot would be a definate plus to perfect the experience!

Joshua Seaburg

Unbelievable level of quality and service for anywhere, let alone a busy airport restaurant. Raul was phenomenal and the cocktails I had were outstanding. Probably the only surprise extended layover I've ever enjoyed this much .

Nicholas Meeks

By far one of the best restaurants I've been in in an airport, and up there on the list with those outside of the context of an airport. The open faced meatloaf sandwich is great, as is the spicy tuna roll. They have nice collection of single malts as well.

Keith Thomas

One of my favorite place to come when I have a layover in ATL airport. Friendly and fast service. Nice atmosphere.

Mofo Jo

Great airport dining and awesome bartenders.

kelly tatiana marin gil

One of the best restaurants in the airport, sushi it's awesome. Pretty everything that the chef does it's good.

Bryan Stewart

Really was looking forward to eating here. But after waiting 20 minutes for my Salmon Hot Pot and it was undercooked I can't bring myself to going above 3 stars. They did make me another and it took another 10 minutes. That meal was good.

Ted Schulte

The food is great. The service is also great. It's too bad I can't go there without having to buy an airline ticket to get into the concourse! ☹

Ross Haycock

Was OK, service good. $15 for one sushi roll, which was nothing special. Sushi from Kroger was Just as good for half the price.

Allison Nunis-Firth

I feel lucky to be based in Atlanta so I can eat here every time I fly. If you can find time to stop in here, do it.

Balaji Janakarajan

Their cod is the absolutely delicious. Tendered and finished with slight pan roast and that green curry and yam compliments the cod.

SONARconnects

The best restaurant at the airport. Order the Dirty South... you will not be disappointed!!

Kris Whitehead

If you have time to sit for a good meal, it's a good meal. The Seoul burger mixed great flavors and was just as messy as a burger should be. The fries were fries. I was in and out in about 45 minutes on a relatively busy Sunday evening.

Saadia Savory

Food was great. Service slow. Server did not even seem to care that we wanted food quicker due to connecting flight.

Sarah Holley

Sushi and edamame were very good! I’ve had edamame all over the world and this was some of the best. Clay and the rest of the bartenders were all awesome! Very attentive and food came out quickly!

Gabor Vinci

The best place you can go at when waiting in the Terminal E. Forget the rest of the crappy fast foods outside. A cosy island in the middle of the chaos with quality food. One star minus for the perhaps excessive loud music. Loudness It is a matter of taste however. Thumbs up for service and Sushi!

Mia Thompson

Always interesting and personal conversation with bartenders and wait staff. Love the drinks and the food is fantastic. Top notch all the way. We will go back every chance we can get.

Tonya Hotz

We were there for dinner on a Thursday evening. We waited 30 minutes for a table, which was what the hostess said would be the wait time, so that was OK. The server started out reasonably well with the sparkling water, but the wine took about 10 minutes to get. We ordered soup, both the chicken and the potato. 25 minutes later we were still waiting. When it finally came my husband asked, only partially joking, whether they had to make the soups to order. The server insisted that they actually did. My husband and I are both chefs. We thought it was probable the chicken soup was built when ordered, but the potato was certainly made in advance. Our suspicion was confirmed when the table next to us ordered potato soup and it arrived in less than 5 minutes. Husband ordered the strip steak and I ordered a sushi roll for dinner. The steak was delivered by another server who didn't address us or make eye contact, so I didn't have a chance to ask where my dinner was. A minute or two later I saw our server and was sure he looked right at our table, so I thought he'd be right over with my sushi. No. He was cleaning up and then went to another table. Husband was waiting, not wanting to eat without me and his food was getting cold. He ended up getting up and following the server to tell him I didn't have me food. The server went to the sushi bar and got it. It was was done, but the server said the other server "didn't bother to look at the ticket. The food was actually really good, once we were able to get it, but the wait was unacceptable, especially in an airport where people have planes to catch. After dinner we had to catch the server to ask for the check. Then we had to flag him down again to get him to take it. The restaurant had slowed down considerably, and he was obviously doing his side work. The final straw was that another 10-15 minutes went by. We were actually standing next to our table with our suitcases waiting for him. He looked right at us more than once but didn't seem to understand that we hadn't gotten our credit card back yet and couldn't leave. It was getting close to our time to board, so irritated hubby flagged him down one more time. We later agreed that our server seemed to be under the influence of something, quite possibly Marijuana. He was glassy eyed and seemed spaced out. If I end up on that concourse at dinner time again I would give them another chance because the food really was good, but I'll be hoping for a better over all experience.

Jon Augelli

Best airport bar I've ever been to bar none. I make an effort to stop in everytime I'm in Atlanta, even if I'm not in E concourse. Food is great, staff is friendly, and the drinks are fantastic. Do yourself a favor and stop on in.

Gerard Sullivan

Nice food, nice drinks, friendly wait staff. Can be a bit of a wait though.

Robert Presser

This restaurant is on the E gates departure concourse. Decor is nice, even intimate. Bar has a cozy feel. Exceptionally diverse wine list for an airport restaurant. We ordered four sushi rolls, all of them were good. Service is polite and attentive. Worth the extra money over a typical dinner in the food court, if you have the time.

Kevin Pattison

Fantastic food and service. Great for a quick bite before a flight.

David McKinney

Good food and excellent staff. Great place to meet random people.

Antoinette Houston

Thyme roasted pork belly is amazing! Friendly fun staff. I highly recommend this place.

Jisoo Lee

The waiter said "I will give you 10 to eat." I gave this restaurant 5 stars a month ago because of a very attentive waiter and the great pulled duck sandwich. He asked me first thing if I'm in a hurry. I said I have time to enjoy food. So I trained from Concourse C to dine here again a month later. Guess what? I wasn't even offered water for 10 minutes, and when the waiter came I told him I was about to leave because boarding starts in 30 minutes. I ended up ordering a burger and asked if I would get food in 10. He said "we make everything from scratch so it's gonna come out in 20 maybe, and I'LL GIVE YOU 10 TO EAT." I'm sorry but I don't even say that to my dogs. I left.

Jonathan Case

Easily the best option at ATL. Very complex cocktails that work. The waiters really help make the experience. They make great recommendations. I actually fly out of terminal D but if I have time I head here.

Edward Meszaros

This is the best restaurant in the airport. Try the duck or if your in a hurry get awesome sushi

Vikki Martin

On the rare occasions that I get a decent layover in Atlanta Hartsfield Airport I seek out decent dining. A coworker recently convinced me to wander over a few terminals to check out One Flew South. We were seated immediately and service was timely. They have a very nice drink selection ranging from a variety of different beers to very nice wines. The menu is very intriguing and the decision-making process was challenging. I decided on the OFS Dirty South open faced meat loaf. It was extremely satisfying. Very rich but not so heavy I couldn't finish it.

Davin Smith

First question I was asked > so when is your next flight, and then 40 minutes later..... Just because I tell someone I have a long layover doesnt mean put the entire restaurant ahead of me dont get me wrong maybe the food is great idk because I never recieved my fried fish sandwich after sitting there for about 40 minutes watching others recieve sushi rolls, tacos multiple drinks and dishes that actually looked like it would take 40 minutes to make. So word of advice if you still decide to go here after looking at my one star rating tell them your flight is in 30 minutes may be you will have better luck.

J Lingle

Amazing service each and every time. I travel through ATL regularly, and the bar/wait staff at OFS are some of the most pleasant, attentive, and knowledgable that I've ever met. Next time you have an hour to kill, come in for an amazing cocktail, a kamikaze roll, and some very friendly and entertaining conversation at the bar.

Troy Walbaum

I don't remember what I got (that should tell you something), I just remember it was mediocre. The best part of my meal was the fries and I'm almost positive they were from McDonald's. No joke, looked and tasted EXACTLY like McDonald's fries, except they weren't hot. They probably cooled off on the way from McDonald's!

Ron Cataldo

Friendly, knowledgeable staff in a tranquil upscale setting. Dinner was delicious, dessert was better. We forgot we were still at the Airport

Brett Danyas

Delicous food, lots of variety even for my vegetarian wife.

Ed Barnes

Best restaurant in the airport. A place I would want to go to on a Friday night. Great southern inspired cooking.

Carey

Ordered a few hand rolls -fresh and nicely spiced. We were finished eating and draft beers still hadn't arrived. Very disappointed. We chose based on reviews and we're hoping for a quiet place to relax and have a bite during our layover

Richard Elliott

It could have been good, but . . . One flew the coup. There was a short weight when I arrived; three parties in front if me. After the 3rd party was seated, I waited until someone left to indicate I should be next for a table. As I turn the corner in front of the hostess stand a couple entered in front of me and asked "is there a wait for two", hostess says no follow me. I imagine the food is probably pretty good there as it was full. Tt was dinner time though . . . So, I left instead of waiting for another table. What could have been, I will NEVER know.

Jennibeth Robles

When in Atlanta airport we always eat here. It’s the best restaurant at the airport. Today we had a wonderful server, his name was John. He was prompt, great recommendations and he had a wonderful smile. We were very pleased with his service! I highly recommend this place!

Megan Schnitz

Amazing food and drinks! The staff was fantastic and extremely helpful. I will be making it a point to go back every time I'm in the airport.

One More Bite Blog

So good I almost forget I’m eating at an airport restaurant. Love that I can enjoy fresh tasty uni and even ankimo sushi (daily special) before my flight. With a good Old Fashioned cocktail. The cooked dishes are great too including the Salmon ‘hot pot’ with unagi fried rice, tofu, farmers market veggies, miso broth. And the service is fantastic too, they will always try to help you out to give you the best experience possible within the time that you have - just be sure to let them know your flight time and terminal / gate number up front :).

scott morgan

Got to order the Rabbit Rissotto

Scott Toal

Very enjoyable stop in the Atlanta airport concourses. The food is scrumptious and the service is excellent. The restaurant and bar stay pretty busy consistently throughout the day so be prepared to wait for a table. But the fun atmosphere and delectable eats are well worth the wait. The bar appears to be just as good of an eating area as any of the tables so if a seat is open there go for it. Also the tables outside the main dining area is get the flavor of the concourse along with the tastiness from the kitchen. One item to note- the desserts can take a while to prepare so if you have a plane to catch you may want to skip the final course.

Andrew Smith

I can only speak to the bar and it's great. Professional bartenders that can read how much and how little a patron wants to be engaged. Nice selection of beers. Makes a proper whiskey sour with egg white. Highly recommend this airport bar.

Jacci O.

Definitely have to check this place out if you are in the atlanta airport and you have a longer layover. We were seated promptly and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is relaxing visually stimulating. Our drinks were made well and were reasonable when you consider you are in an airport. The sushi was pretty good, our favorite roll was the kamikaze closely followed by the southern roll. While we were eating another patron asked about the flooring which the waiter then explained was from a barn that the original owners had on their land and was shipped to Atlanta. We will definitely be back the next time we are in the area!

Adam Lapins

For an airport place it is pretty good...for a sushi place it's just ok.

Pam Ronstadt

A nice respite and space to enjoy a glass of wine and good food during a long layover.

crystal schamberger

Great place for a quick amazing meal! The waiter John was great!

Nicole Kilbourne

Best restaurant in ATL by far.

Dana Foust

Excellent service and a nice place to wait out a flight for a few hours with a full bar and wine list. Located in Terminal E and unique to Atlanta. The food options are a tad adventurous so I wouldn’t suggest here if looking for typical bar food. The Cajun shrimp toast off the starter list was delicious. Pricey for the portion size however this is the airport.

The food was excellent and the server good, however one of our appetizers was missed. I realized it after I walked out. I came back in and asked the bartender about it. He laughed and said which server? I said the person sort of looks like her (the lady behind the bar). He laughed and said I highly doubt that, she's my bartender. I said I can only see her back and the waitress is the same stature. He laughed again. After spending a sizeable amount of money at an airport sushi restaurant, I guess I expected better service and a respectful interaction from all of the staff. My recommendation is to avoid the bar. If you want to try the food get it to go.

The best! Everything I've had here has been amazing! They have the most wonderful sushi! The salmon is so fresh and very delicious! The staff is really great and just very nice to chat with. This place is not even an airport restaurant in mind and if you're ever in Atlanta airport and you have the time but don't stop to eat here, something is wrong with you. Yes, it's a bit pricey but not when it comes to airport food and this would totally be considered affordable (if your not on a strict budget) as a normal restaurant. Go here! Eat anything non the menu!

Walter Boot

An oasis of fine dining in an airport concourse.

Brittany W

Stopped here several times on my way through Atlanta, it's definitely a good option for a nice meal in the airport! They're also quite fast, which is appreciated. I do with they would offer a few simpler food options in addition to their fancier menu though?

Andrew Kutylo

I was a little disappointed by this spot. A friend recommended that we check out One Flew South when we flew through ATL. The restaurant has a cool/clean/fresh look to it. It was busy, but still comfortable. The waiter recommended a nice wheat beer. I ordered a pulled duck sandwich. The meal was a little small which was accentuated by coming out on a large plate. I found a sizeable tendon in my sandwich. I would give this place another try, but I wouldn't get the duck again.

you already know the food is good by all the other reviews. service: excellent, every time. atmosphere: perfect for a sit down place in an airport. quiet, not too quiet. sushi: gets its own category. i don't get sushi in random places. i get this sushi every time. if it's in your budget and your have time at ATL, then you should eat here. it's that simple. more than the food and the atmosphere, the employees make this special. they are hospitable and genuine. it's so good that even on short layovers i make my way over to get food to go. are you convinced yet?

Shemar Gooden

Always wanted to give this restaurant a try. I've heard great things about the food and the modern look is a plus when ever I walked past. Thanks to our server Brandon, he made sure the food and service lived up to its hype. Everything he suggested we ate. I'm big on taste, presentation, and service. They received 5 stars for all these categories.

Brian Leatherman

One of the best airport meals I have had!

Bill Ferguson

Great food, great drinks and great people. Best fine dining experience in an airport

Rebecca Van Reken

I had a few hours to spare and sidled up to the bar for dinner. The service was attentive and friendly. I ordered one of the recommended dishes and an excellent Burgundy blend by the glass and enjoyed my meal thoroughly. My dumb mistake, I then left my tablet at the bar! Nearly two days later when I realized where it likely would be, I called and they called me back to confirm they had kept it in their safe and could ship it back to me. Joy! Miko, the GM, and others I spoke to when I first called were fantastic throughout the process. Excellent service!

Nicholas D'Uva

Couteous staff, fast service. My salmon was very good, a nice thick piece prepared just right. Some might think a bit pricey, but well worth it.

dave crothall

Delicious pork belly and solid service. Very good airport restaurant. Do not recommend the sushi unless you're craving it while in the airport and are ok with overpaying. It's not bad, just not $15 a roll good.

Andrea Celleri

Good sushi and if you are not that full I would recommend the banana pudding.

Bart Rinkenberger

Amazing. Fresh. Explosion of flavors.

Rick Nobers

Good Sushi and unique menu. Among the best sushi I have had. Excellent beer and wine selection. I try to come here if I have some time. I will even switch terminals to hit this up. The last time I was here a customer became aware of his flight time and left before his food came out. I received his food. Thanks. The setting is upscale-ish considering this is an airport. Can be noisy with people in terminal. The service here gives it that extra something and the 5th star. I have come here maybe ten times over a 5-year period. Clearly some months between each visit. The bartender Dele remembers me each time (and did after about a year gap from 1st and 2nd visit) and even remembers details about my life and why I often connect through Atlanta. Thanks. I hope he is still there the next time I come through. Thank you good sir. You get my nod.

We had a three hour layover at the Atlanta airport. I ordered the spring roll wrap and seared scallions; both were delicious. They have excellent craft cocktails. I highly recommend! Our waiter was fabulous. He asked about our trip and checked with us about the quality of our meals. The check was brought quickly and he asked when we ordered how much time we had before our flight. A relaxing and tasty dinner and a great way to spend a layover.

Derek Andersen

Pulled duck sandwich was incredible. The poke tacos were perfect. The sushi was very good. The staff was attentive and accommodating. Great experience.

Chris Erickson

I had a long layover in Atlanta airport so I decided to eat at the highest rated restauarnt in the airport, One Flew South, and It was indeed very good. Had a bowl of potato leek soup and the meatloaf sandwich which were great. Sushi looked good, too. And professional service.

Danny B

I highly recommend the pork belly sliders and cocktails. Haven’t tried the Kamikaze roll or Salmon Avocado roll but we’ve heard from several guests/waiters that these are very tasty. The spicy tuna and salmon tacos were a bit underwhelming. Service was great but recommend to only dine in here if you have at least an hour before boarding time as waits can be long depending on what you order.

Wade Schulz

More servers than customers, but after sitting at the sushi bar for 20 minutes no one came to take an order for drinks or food.

Korey Wheeler

Pulled duck is great. Seoul Burger is even better. Good selection of local beers. Always friendly staff. Kind of slow service. Pretty expensive.

Jeremy Searson

1. Hostess - greeted us with "were only open 20 minutes" with her cellphone, charger & purse ready to go 2. Menu - none of the following - tuna dishes, burgers, appetizer dips, beet salad, wagu 3. Waiter - Bill arrived before food the food and he tried to take it while we ate 4. Cold noodle salad was actually pretty good. I know it is late but they could have tried to fake it a little. We were tired too, however we didn't set the hours of your operation talk to your managers of you don't want a night shift.

ICA Mitchell

Amazing Cali Rolls and Salmon & Avocado Rolls! If I had time I'd have tried the Kamikaze Rolls as well, they looked amazing. Just be sure you have a minimum of 1 hour (more preferred) before you need to begin boarding your flight since the restaurant can be busy. The waiter will likely ask when you board and will know if you have time to order hot items. Overall, this is the best airport restaurant I've been to so far. Will definitely visit again if I'm here.

Brice Connell

Best airport restaurant, period! Food & service are top notch

Charles Du

Overpriced, even more so than typical airport food. The funniest thing to me was the 8 oz bottle of coke poured into a tiny goblet. No refills, 4 dollars. The whole thing just screams money grab. Additionally, the waitress I had did not know the difference between the two draft beers they had available. TWO!! If presumably half or more of the patrons are from out of town, and you offer two draft beers, at least know the STYLE. On a positive note, the soup portions are pretty substantial, inventive, and flavorful.

Shab Sachedina

I can't believe the quality of food. Are you sure we're in an airport??? Get the open face meatloaf sandwich. Best I've ever had. And the 5 spice fries were an interesting and tasty touch.

Shay Pfeiffer

Wonderful atmosphere, friendly knowledgeable staff and amazing food. One of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had. The menu is diverse and offers traditional and untraditional flavors and dishes. If you have never been it is well worth adding to your bucket list!

Mal Joyous

Excellent customer service, great staff

Tammy Dugas

The service was excellent. The ambiance is excellent, for an airport. Ironically, the chicken noodle soup was incredible.

jenna bilmes

We LOVED it!!!! What a great place to chill, eat, and drink on a layover. The pulled duck confit sandwich was terrific. Get fries for your side order.

Micah Ransdell

Great atmosphere in this wayside airport restaurant. The food is delicious, prepared with care not normally seen in airport cuisine. The staff is friendly and welcoming.

Geraldine Flanagan

Great service and perfectly executed food.

Lindsey Dodson

So bummed. I’ve been coming here at least monthly for a long time. Tonight, I finally got to bring my husband along before our vacation. We waited an hour for food and finally just had to leave to make our flight. It was a disaster. I won’t be back. LWe left disappointed and hungry.

Wayne Crowley

Good, not great sushi. Our tuna rolls had way too much connective tissue which made the rolls chewy and unappealing. Service is good and the atmosphere is pleasant .We might have just had a novice sushi chef.

Katie G.

This place is delicious!! Recommended by someone and I am SO glad that I listened! It is at an airport so it is a little spendy. But great service and fantastic food. I definitely recommend stopping here if you have time before a flight.

JR Curley

Let's be clear, when you read "best airport restaurant", understand what the competition is. With that level setting, I would agree this is the best restaurant in the airport. With that comes a premium price that outside an airport wouldn't be warranted. This small restaurant has inside, "outside", and bar seating. ALL of it is via wait list - you cannot go sit at the bar if you see an open stool. The food is rather unique for airport food - I had grouper, and there are other interesting items on the menu. Sushi is good (for an airport), but compared to a real sushi restaurant doesn't come close to matching quality. If you're looking to sit down, eat food that is fairly close to a "real" restaurant, One Flew South makes it happen. I'll def choose this restaurant over others when I fly through the Delta terminals.

Jay Paul Smith

Best airport food I've ever seen. It's like a real restaurant with really top notch food!

Dieanna Perez

Best airport restaurant period!! Hidden gem!!

cldalnc

Delicious sushi and drinks. Can be a bit pricey but worth a visit!

Max Uhlig

Love this place, I come here anytime I'm flying through ATL. Sushi is really good and the wine goes well. The staff is super friendly and helpful. If you've got a hour layover in ATL I would highly recommend stopping by for a drink and or sushi!

Josh Wallace

The food and the cocktails are amazing. It's not food you would believe you could eat in an airport. Definitely a must try.

Mike Lyons

Decent although not amazing food. Far too overpriced, especially for the setting. Not bad, but there are much better places to dine in the ATL.

Mike Perez

Stopped to eat here while waiting for a flight back home. The food was solid. It's pricey but worth it if you are looking for a nice meal. Ate with two of my co-workers and everyone liked their food. We had the pork belly sliders as an appetizer, definitely something I recommend. For entrees, I had the Soy Glazed Grouper and friends had the Dirty South Meatloaf Sandwich and Citrus Springer Chicken. We all enjoyed the food. On the negative side, our entrees took too long to get to us and didn't come out as hot as I would have wanted but wasn't about to complain as we were had a flight to catch. As long as you have enough time before your next flight, I'd recommend it. Pretty awesome overall considering you are eating "airport food".

Evelyn Kim

Sushi is ok, not the best. Pulled duck sandwich and Pork belly sliders are great and full of flavor. However, I mainly go here for the libations. Their mixed drinks are creative and most importantly, very strong.

Jessie Wilson

I had the rabbit risotto with a chenin blanc here while on a layover, and I was extremely impressed! Efficient and friendly service and delicious food at appropriate prices. I will definitely come here again.

Bill Cheatham

One of the first Hartsfield-Jackson airport fine-dining options. Love the bar area, but the dining area is long narrow and a little crowded. The food is very good as well as the service. It is however very pricey.
