I love this place. It looks like an old school ryans, but the food is top notch. Steak was a little tough but the chicken was excellent. We really enjoyed it. For three of us it cost about $40. Not bad for the selection!!!

The food was typical southern buffet. The cheese grits were great and the fried fish was delicious. However there were several food items that were empty and some of the food looked like it had been out too long. My waitress did a good job keeping my tea filled though and she was just as sweet. $17 was just a little much for my experience tonight.

It is a good little place to eat at. Not a lot of variety on meats mostly fried foods. Plenty of side items and salad options and desert choices. Great service drinks never went empty.

We were looking for a good buffet while on vacay, and we fought this place! I highly recommend this place. If your looking for a great place to eat, this is where you'll get the bang for your buck! Everything we tasted was DELICIOUS! My fiance' and I have decided this will be our go to restaurant when we come back into town! The customer service was great, and our waitress was hilarious! I had a problem today with a bakery staff who lied to me about the peach cobbler. I asked the young lady in the Bakery is their anymore peach cobbler ,she looked down at the oven and told me that it will be ten minutes before it is done.i waited ten minutes for the cobbler. I went back to the bakery after waiting for ten minutes,and she said to me again that it takes ten minutes to bake.at that time i asked the duty manager the unprofessional manager can she get me some cobbler togo in the container. So after walking to the bakery the young lady had just put the cobbler out on the hot table.Now she first told me that the cobbler was baking. So when I got me some cobbler.i noticed something were wrong the cobbler was warm I put my finger down in the cobbler in front of the duty manager my finger was warm not hot at all ,and the duty manager tells me the hold time I was waiting that the peach cobbler was in the warmer .so the Baker wasted my time by telling me that the cobbler will be done in ten minutes.and that manager gin is so disrespectful her communication level is so low I don't even know how she became manager she got mad as hell because I called her out and she told me that I can have the cobbler and she walked off like she was doing me a favor, as she was waking off I told her that I will let Kelly know what happened. She tells me that she don't care who I call are talk too .I wasn't surprised at all by her telling me that . Because her response was like talking to a fifth grade " overall all the food is great I get my food togo twice a day never had know problem where the employees lie to the paying customer. I have been coming to this restaurant from day one when Ms.Bobbi was the manager today Is Saturday July 27,2019 At 5:15 PM

Being homesick, I moved back to the southeast from out west several years ago. They didint even know what sweet tea and grits were! Old Times became the number one spot for me to hit for that amazingly perfect seasoned down home cooking! Reminds me of my grandmother's dinners that had the taste of love put in them. Grandma had a huge garden and knew how to season all her vegetables just right. Old Times definitely strikes up nostalgia for me.

Really good food, nice place, great value. Only gripe about the place is that they don't have any signs telling you what is what. Kinda have to guess as see if you like it. Place as hopping for late lunch (around 2pm). They had a deal of $6 lunch for law enforcement, so there are plenty of cops. Nothing is happening here.

Good variety of good food. During lunchtime, before 2pm, we paid $24.14. Including tax for 2 meals with 2 teas. ($8.99 per meal and 2.29 per refillable beverage). Meal prices drop between 2 and 4 pm Monday thru Thursday and tea is $1.49. A senior discount is available also. Prices increase after 4pm and the variety of meats increase (like steak). On a Friday afternoon meals were $12.99 each before beverage and tax. We haven't been here on Saturday or Sunday so we're not sure of pricing on those days. On occasion, fresh local produce is available for purchase. Believe it or not we discovered that they were open on Christmas day 2018 after we had cooked enough food for our own personal buffet. Thinking seriously about eating here next Christmas if they're open again!

No complaints. They were really busy because it was a Sunday afternoon and most people had just gotten out of church. The line was long, but they were moving as fast as possible. The food was fresh and hot. The only thing that I disliked is just about ALL the vegetables are cooked in meat hence reason for minus one star. Everyone doesn't eat Pork!!!. Our server, Pam Jackson, was excellent with good customer service skills. Kudos Pam for such a wonderful disposition!!! Everyone was nice!

The last item I tired was the fried chicken...wish I would have eaten that 1st it was great. Don't believe I'll go back as you eat for 1 price as much as you want and I don't eat much so for me I'd rather order one meal that I would totally enjoy. But if you like to eat alot and eat many types of Southern food this is the place. I would rate this a 4 banana as fair price on a banana rating of 1 to 10 bananas 10 being expensive. Enjoy!

We were looking for real southern soul food as we were tired of eating out on vacay but were a little worried it wouldn’t taste that way due to it being a buffet and the building just as nice as some food chains BUT it was fantastic! Everything. The people were fun with southern hospitality and the place was clean as ever!! I don’t like many peoples greens and I definitely never eat them at a restaurant but theirs were so good I ate two servings! The Mac and cheese was made just right and the catfish tasted just like my granny’s!! The food was so fresh I almost burnt my tongue! If you need a good home cooked meal this is the spot!! You can do carry out or the buffet! Weekends cost more.

Southern comfort foods in a buffet presentation. Most of the food is seasoned well, however, an occasional tray is off. On Sundays this place is a mad house of people. It's not relaxing although the mood is relaxed. At $15 a person you better make sure to eat two plates of food. Serving staff is attentive but with so many people they can be understandable slow after a few hours.

Ole Time's has the most affordable soul food in Savannah. If you eat swine, you will live this place. They also have great options for the nonporkers. On Thursday January 10 our usher board came for diner and much of the food was not replaced with fresh items many of the fried food was hard and tasted kike it was on the table to long and dried hard. Not enjoyably at all. If we still have to pay the same rate for coming after 7pm we should also have fresh items to choose anf enjoy. The service was strained because of one person serving a large party without any help. Management need to check the line more often especially when you still have people coming in and have to pay the same price. That is not acceptable and its it's going to be the downfall of your business . Not a good record from my experience. I don't want to ever come back.

This place is not the way it use to be. Chicken way to salty. Way too many canned veggies. Even the yams tasted as if they were possibly canned. And if not, they sure could have done a better job. They tasted like baby food. The mac n cheese.. the pasta is over cooked and it's more creamy than should be. It's not at all like southern home cooking. How they are surviving I have no idea. Restroom smells like a sewer and is equivalent in cleanliness. The buffet was in need of being refilled and cleaned as well. Staff was rude and one of the waitresses complained that she couldn't believe that people were still in the restaurant (3 1/2 hours until close) she needed to go home. If this was a one time isolated case I'd let it go, but this is status quo here. Save your money and go elsewhere. We will be.

Recently I went to Ole Time's Buffet in Hinesville. The food was delicious and the buffet was constantly being turned over. The soup in Savannah was not presentable, the fried gizzard was too salty and fry chicken was hard as a rock. The fry ribs was not seasoned and some part of the ribs was not fried. I spent $12.00 and did not enjoy the food.

We enjoyed eating here! It's more of a true Southern buffet - fried chicken, pork, BBQ chicken, lots of fish, fried and not. Biscuits and cornbread are offered along with rolls, and there are black eyed peas, and collard greens as part of the sides. And there were better dessert options than other buffets.

Anyone who knows me knows that Old Time Country Buffet is my all-time favorite restaurants. I visited the Savannah location 3 separate occasions within a two week span and each time was just not the experience. I am used to having. the food was filling but a lot of it wasn't hot or appear to be fresh and the bar was not three stopped in a timely manner in my opinion. Listening to others around me some of them had the same opinions that they were waiting on food to come out. The servers and wait staff was going above and beyond.The Statesboro location is newer but they have all of their ducks in a row and I am never disappointed and I frequent them at least four times out of the seven days a week.

I have been happy with the food and the service here. The fried chicken and fried fish are really good, but it's the vegetables I love. Fried okra, succotash, baby lima beans, butter beans, two types of greens. If you are looking for the foods you grew up on, this is a good place to start looking. The price is reasonable as well.

No carb, low carb or lower fat diet? No diet at all? This the place to eat. It may be a buffet, but the food tastes like quality, home cooking. The service is always friendly and the food delicious. Very unsatisfying visit. The poor staff was overwhelmed and quoting times for chicken to be restocked that were nowhere near correct. Fifteen minutes for chicken. Then just four more. Then "very soon" lead to about 15 more minutes before any actually came out. Manager was exceedingly rude about the situation and straight up walked away from the woman complaining about the situation. I was furious, and I wasn't even the one being talked down to. Not likely to go there again anytime soon.

FIRST OF ALL I have not stopped running off since I left the restaurant. My moms stomach will not stop hurting!!! My mom says it sounds like food poisoning, NEVER AGAIN! Okay, now let’s get to the food it is garbage...$13.99 for a buffet I couldn’t find anything to eat on. The best was fried pork chops, fresh corn on the cob, sweet tea, and cornbread. The shrimp, grits, baked chicken, mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese were horrible in the least!!! The water was HORRIBLE tasted like TOILET WATER. Don’t waste your money or time. I usually judge by the sanitation grade which 97 Boyee was I fooled. NOW I CANT STOP EARLING!!!

I mean if you are coming for quality this is not the worlds best buffet. It was okay. Lots of grease. If you are coming for quantity you won’t be let down. Prices are cheap, service is great, place was busy, lots of variety. But food was mediocre at best.

Food was good for a country buffet, almost everything was made with pork. I wish they had more items without pork. The quality of the food could have been better but it's a buffet so I didn't expect to much. Service was great. The front staff were having inappropriate conversation out in the public with children around, management needs to address that.

I normally love the food. I finally went on Sunday when they feature chitterlings and pigfeet. I did get a small bowl of chitterlings and I ended up sick at my stomach. I don't know what they used to season them with but I will NEVER get them again. As the saying goes, you can't eat everybody's chitterlings. The rest of my food was delicious as usual & I will continue to eat there.

Lots of choices here every day. My favorites include the Low Country Boil, that BBQ Pork, Steak & Shrimp night and the dessert island . Good comfort food at a good price. Nice friendly staff. I've eaten here many times.
