Not overly impressed with Nana's Country Buffet. Service was good, definitely get better if you are a local and known by the staff. Really good fried chicken, everything else is from a can or box. The dressing was bone dry and the mac and cheese was pitiful. Glad I tried it alone because it was not worth the $12 per person they charged. Mark it off the list.

A complete buffet line of homestyle food, from salad to dessert. Pay as you enter, grab a plate, make a huge tossed salad, find a table, meet your waitress and order your drink, help yourself to at least 6 veggies and 3 meats, pig-out until you burst, then head in for at least three desserts. Family style seating around the table with good service from the wait staff. Clean restrooms. Great tea, water, or soft drinks. And great price for it all!! Open for breakfast and lunch, Mon-Fri.; lunch on Sunday. Wish they were open for supper, too!

Food was ok. I thought with a name like Nana the food would be homemade. But the banana pudding tasted like box banana pudding and the greens were can greens. And I didn't care for the potato salad either. Nana does have great customer service.

Nana's has great twisting food... But if you are ordering to go, look to wait about 15 min. after ordering. Kinda slow but the tasty food overcomes the wait.

I personally didn't think it was good. I guess it just depends on the day. One big problem was that the food in the buffet had no label. You can't tell if it's salibury steak or gravy on liver, which in my case it was liver. Can't tell if it's ranch dressing or some other dressing.

Eating here is a "Hit-or-Miss" place to eat. Sometimes it's horrible and other times it's wonderful. Sunday seems to be the day that the food is great but it gets very crowded with church goers.

We finally found a great Southern meal in Waycross. The Best fried chicken I have had in decades. Full buffet included baked chicken, mashed potatoes, rice and gravy, lima beans, black eyed peas, melt in your mouth turnip greens, corn bread, creamed corn, green beans, spaghetti, full salad bar and desserts. We will make this our go to place for lunch when traveling through Waycross.

Food was greasy and most of it was just canned food dumped on a warming table. Sorry, but wasn't impressed at all. There was a customer in there without a shirt or shoes, my wife almost slid down by the buffet area and although I asked for white meat a few times, thighs were all you kept dumping in the chicken pan.

Nana's is a great Country cooking Restaurant in Waycross, Georgia!! It will remind you of the way your grandmother's cooking in the older days of going to eat at grandma's house for dinner on Sundays!! It's a different taste of food from some!! I have enjoyed the meals from the first time my oldest son took me there!! Enjoy everyone & have a blessed day!!

One of the best fried chicken ever have, the other foods are classic down-home southern style cuisine, there are some things that are exceptional in here and some that are just average but all around a good place to eat food is always generally there and ready the staff is pretty friendly and quite often the owners are there eating with you so you know that they keep an eye on the place
