Yea had a lunch special. All reheated from microwave. And the beans are canned beans. You can taste the preservatives. All my food was steaming hot on the inside and warm to cold on the outside. Staff was good. Just food is ehh. For the price I would just go to Taco Bell.

It's not_great_ at anything, but it is *GOOD* AT EVERYTHING! Good food, good price, fast service, nice waiters. I love the lunch chimichanga. Chips are good, salsa good. Inexpensive fajitas fast. Some love the chicken soup (I'm not a soup guy). Check it out, a big bowl of sour cream is only $1. Put together all the "goods" and this place really rocks. I've been eating lunch here for over 10 years!

Food was not good, bathroom gross, group of "classy ladies" talking loud and dropping F bombs. Staff didn't say a word. Much better choices for Tex-Mex food. Will not be back.

The food was great. The portions were very nice. The price was very reasonable as well. My kid that usually eats 3 soft tacos could barely eat 2 of them as they were big. I also noticed that they pour their beer into a chilled glass. Which is an excellent extra step. The parking lot is kind of tight and if it's very busy could be an issue.

Had fajita chicken which came with rice and beans and was excellent. Salsa was a bit spicy. Was a good meal with the corona we had and all in all decent food in reasonable price. Waiters was GREAT, pity not all are like she was. just sorry I didn't ask her name to add it to this feedback

The drinks are fantastic here, the food is okay but is more authentic Mexican than your large commercial joints. Your best bet are the fajitas. Best margaritas in the area, no gatorade!!!!

This place was scary going in at 9:30 at night but once we got through the door it was a very friendly environment this place is kind of a hole-in-the-wall per se but the food was off the chain it was like going into Mexico City and having food I can't say enough about the quality the service is really good be patient but overall this place was outstanding I would recommend it wholeheartedly not very fancy but very very good one of the top places I've eaten in the last year enjoy

The food was so good I didn't have time to take pictures before we devoured it! Big portions of very flavorful food. Huge menu with over 30 combination meals on top of their other choices. The margaritas were wonderful, just know that they are huge and Texas style means you'll get a buzz on your first sip.

Just a quick stop in to pick up a bite after work. Ordered a combo dinner, enchiladas & taco with beans. Nothing extraordinary about the meal. I was not thrilled about the little container of salsa, could stand to be a bit bigger. Customer service was great.

The best part of this dining experience is that I did not get too sick afterward. I honestly have no idea why the other reviews you might see below give 5-star ratings and rave about the best ever . Perhaps they are influenced by nostalgic memories of how good it may have been 30 years ago, or perhaps the restaurant owner pays them to leave good reviews. Unfortunately, I cannot claim to have shared their experience. The fact is, this is a below average, hole in the wall Mexican restaurant with poor service, bland food, store-bought salsa, and stale, moldy, leftover taco pieces for "chips." (I paid the price for those nasty chips a few hours later.) Also, as in the real Mexico, "Don't drink the water." As for the prices, they are quite average, not at all a bargain. I tried not to "judge this book by its cover" -- the tired building exterior and sticky menus -- but in this case the "cover" was a fairly accurate depiction of what was inside.

Best quesadillas I've had. The tortilla had a buttery golden texture, dripping with cheese. It was cooked to perfection. We went for lunch and ordered more to take home for dinner. The service was great also. We will definitely return.

I’ve been coming here since I was born, and now that 22 years later. My father been coming their for 45 years. We use to come ever Friday night it was a Family tradition. We moved away 5 years ago, and their new faces and a few old, but they have never let me down. I always have my birthday their, and still do! Prices are very reasonable. Love this place! Came here often while we lived in Atlanta. We moved about a year ago to NC and are currently visiting ATL and decided to come grab some dinner here. The staff is so awesome! They remembered us the moment we walked in, Saying how it's been so long. Was seated and the waiter remembered everything we ordered down to the salt with our margaritas and the hot sauce we liked. Definitely a awesome place and amazing food.

I went here for lunch and enjoyed it. I ordered a shrimp dish with rice. The dish was tasty and the chips we're fresh and delicious. I was alone and had a one-hour phone meeting in the booth as my car was being repaired. I wasn't rushed out. I fact, I was made to feel welcome and thought their customer service was exemplary. I would definitely recommend eating here. It is casual, friendly, and tasty.
