Stewart was our server he was vivacious and full of life he definitely made our dining experience even more delightful... We started with oysters on the half shell and crab cakes and cooked to perfection... The fried green tomato was a nice surprise... The catfish was good and the salad was fresh... It smells like a fish market which let me know everything would be fresh . But if you don't enjoy that odor id suggest sitting outside . The gumbo was so good and the jambalaya was amazing. Very family friendly. Id highly recommended if in the area.

Unfortunately, my car was almost broken into on Mother's Day. Thanks to quick responding police officer and patrons who pay attention, the degenerate could not get anything, but a cracked window. The food is always delicious, but I lost my appetite after the situation. Be careful and mindful to lock your doors.

The service was great! The food is good and reasonable in price. The only thing is the grits with the shrimp n' grits dish were a little grainy and could've been creamier. Just my opinion.

Great food, a little pricey and I got a dish I didn't order and was charged for it ($10 extra). Not too happy with that despite the dish being delicious. Also, server didn't really check on the table after taking the order and before delivery, which was a significant amount of time. Atmosphere seems cozy at first but is very loud when they fill up. I would give the food a 4 and service a 2, atmosphere a 3.

Great cajun food! Being from the gulf coast, this was a nice taste of home. Very authentic preparation and taste. Fresh catch selection is as good as anywhere on the gulf coast. Really nice kids menu, with big portions. And then dessert! Very luxurious and rich! Big enough to share, for sure. Can't wait to go back and try more!

I visited Louisiana Bistreaux after picking my friend up from the airport. The customer service is great - they were nice to me even though I kept sending my wine back because something was floating in the glass. The food is kind of pricey but it tastes good. I'd likely go again.

Had a great experience with my wife. We always get the ribeye and it was full of flavor. Highly recommend the ribeye and this restaurant to everyone. Customer service was also great and we were checked on plenty of times and didn’t have to ask for refills.

Service was not great and neither was the food. Being a Louisiana native it was quite a disappointment. The red beans lacked seasoning flavor but were super spicy, the fried oysters were just plain horrible, and it's not real catfish. The crawfish etouffee was just ok. This restaurant is definitely not worth the price.

The service was great. Our waitress was very friendly and professional. The atmosphere was nice. What we disliked was the food. Everything was too spicy, even though they said it was not a very spicy dish. We had the shrimp and grits and etouffee and the red beans and rice. We cannot even eat it all and left more than half of it on the plate. But I have to say the corn chowder with crab meat was really good. But what made it so bad was the next morning I saw on the news where they got an F on their report card with one of the issues being chemicals were stored near food along with some other issues. Will definitely not be going back there and will not recommend them to anyone else. And also it was a bit pricey.

Loved the atmosphere inside. Staff were very cordial. Every dish served to the five in our party was plenteous and well prepared. Recommended Appetizers: Crawfish (worth trying, and they will teach you how to eat them if you ask), and the Gator Tail. Hard to go wrong with the meal offerings. Me: Jambalaya. Others: The Crab Cakes are sizable and not just bread. The shrimp is great. I haven’t had the Fried Lobster Tail, but it looked amazing, too! Only challenge was the tight parking lot, but there is more space shared at the Motel 6 just behind the restaurant. If I’m back in the area I’ll definitely look to return.

I never get to stop here...until today! The coconut shrimp is HUGE and busting with flavor! The apricot marmalade is a must! The lunch catfish platter was more like my lunch/dinner. I love it when restaurants season their food just enough. It wasn't salty or super greasy. We topped it all off with The bourbon bread pudding. Perfect end to a good day. I'm just shocked that It took me this long to drop by. I'll be back East Point! #ashsaidit

It is alright. People from the NOLA seem to love it. The only bad mark I can give it is that they are in Atlanta and bringing that crazy Saints mess up here in Falcon country! As a Falcon Fan I give it a 3 star. Although I am sure Saints folk will give it 1 - 2 points higher. There is no accounting for taste.

The food was delicious. As an appetizer I had fried crawfish, gater, and okra. The three of them came with their own sauces that were kind of fancy mustardy that i was a fan of. Though it is a little pricey (the cheapest thing on the lunch menu was 8 or 9 dollars) I believe it is completely worth it. It has a wide variety on the menu and the seafood all tasted so fresh! I had the shrimp po boy and my guests had shrimp n grits and salmon (not gonna lie wasn't really paying a lot of attention to food that wasn't mine) and they all thought that the food was great. Only thing is the serving are huge! You will definitely be leaving with extras. The wait staff was extremely helpful and polite (in my opinion, she came and asked if 'everything was okay' one too many times) but that could have been because it was super empty when we got there (around 12pm). The interior is really nice and clean and given the number of table I can only assume that they get packed. Overall a great experience and i will be visiting again in the future.

This restaurant was delicious! Our waiter Alexis was great. Service was quick. You will not be disappointed. The Hurricane was strong.. you didn’t have to wonder if the added alcohol. The food is absolutely amazing and the service matches! We had a great experience! We were going to Spondivits but were told it was going to be a long wait and that no infants were allowed to dine in the air conditioned areas of the restaurant, leaving us to dine outside in 90 degree weather! That was a big NO. Louisiana Bistreaux was up the street and they were a much better selection! Love this place!!!!

Our food was amazing! It was by far the best Cajun that we have had outside of Louisiana. We had a special which consisted of grits topped with fried catfish covered in crawfish etouffee. It was one of the best things that I've ever eaten. We also had jambalaya and beignets that were delicious and very authentic. Our hostess and server went above and beyond the entire time we were there. It was nearly an 1 1/2 hour drive for us but we love Cajun food. It was definitely worth it!

As authentic as you'll get here! Bistreaux Oysters are as good as Drago's and the Redfish Pontchartrain is a must! For some unknown reason, the food here is better than the Decatur location.

Being from Louisiana I can say the food is mostly on point. Perhaps a tad bit overdone with the Cayenne pepper but some folks like it super spicy. I found the jambalaya to be a bit wet for my liking. It had alot of meat and good flavor though.

Loved the gumbo , gumbo was so delicious! I had sausage or shrimp or even both in every bite. I just started my job at the down the street so from now on I will be having my Saturday lunches. Food is DELICIOUS. We ordered Peel & Eat Shrimp with Cajun Seasoning. It's off menu. And the Gumbo which is sooo tasty - heat, flavour & texture was perfect. Joseph was friendly & knowledgeable. Food was okay. However, the waitress was ridiculously slow. Ordered dessert to go and received the wrong item. Called the restaurant to report THEIR error and was told to bring the dessert back and they'll replace it. Wrong answer! Why would I hold onto that and why should I drive all the way back just to get what I paid for?

I just had lunch at the Louisiana Bistreaux and I’m telling you it’s the best food I’ve had in Atlanta. I had a half pound of peel and eat shrimp that were absolutely perfect. I also had red beans and rice with andouille sausage and it was just like being in New Orleans. The service was excellent and the music kept me entertained the entire time. I definitely will be back.

I’d give another half star if I could. Last night I had the blackened tilapia on dirty rice.and a Caesar salad. It wasn’t crowded but busy so I was pleasantly surprised at expediency of my order. It was a generous portion and not a bad price. I found the tilapia very pepper hot which is how I like it however I’m used to the blackening done with spices and butter. The spice resembled jerk seasoning and I missed the butter. The dirty rice itself could have been spicier but I guess it balanced the heat of the fish. The Caesar salad was on point and well proportioned. I’m gonna try a seafood topped salad tonight.

This place is amazing! Came in late our first night in town and have been back every night! They should have turned us away we were so late. We got Seafood and Andouille Sausage Gumbo. Best gumbo EVER. Amazing, DH had Ceasar Salad and it was great! I thought about it all day and went back at a decent hour the next day, Shrimp Etoufee sooo good ! I am back for my (late) morning coffee Beignets. The service is very friendly. This place is now a destination in itself for me!

Louisiana Bistreaux was phenomenal. I had the grilled shrimp. They were grilled to perfection with a to die for lemon butter sauce. My husband had the seafood salad that was so fresh and flavorful. My friends had the grouper with cajun grits crawfish and spinach. It was so good I had to order it to go for my self. Do not sleep on Louisiana Bistreaux.

This was my first visit and hopefully not my last. The Seafood is GREAT and can be a little spicy but it is DELICIOUS. The service is EXTREMELY EXCELLENT and it is packed. Parking can get a little tight because of the location, bu t people eat at different times and normally when you are driving in someone is driving out. My favorite part is the DESSERTS!!!!! I love chocolate and again, I have nothing but great things to say about my overall experience. If you love seafood you MUST try this restaurant out.

Food decent for what it is.... I was expecting more spice and taste wise but it reminded me of something I could truly cook at home for a weekday meal after work. For what we paid I was completely unsatisfied. Management/owners were amazing and fun. Livened up the atmosphere, if it wasn't for that I wouldn't have given a 3 stars. Great lesson and experience and for that we will not be returning.

Me and my wife were visiting family and we live and are from new Orleans. When I explained that to our server sunny , her exact words were "well you're going to love this place" i ordered the blackened halibut boy and my husband ordered the crawfish combo and when I say WE LOVED EVERY SINGLE BITE! It reminded me of being at home on a regular day going to lunch. Sunny was very pleasant, attentive and sweet. She kept our drinks refilled and fresh bread on our table. Beautiful girl. I will be back soon with the whole gang.

Very nice New Orleans style Bistreaux restaurant. We were treated very nicely by our waiter as well as the entire wait staff. My lady ordered a wedge chicken salad and I selected seafood jambalaya. Our food came out in a very timely manner and was hot, well prepared and well seasoned. My dish was quite spicy, but was very tasty and was a huge portion! Our waiter was excellent, and made sure that we were satisfied and was very friendly and attentive to our needs. He checked on us quite often and shared history with us about the establishment. If you're in the area near the airport and desire a taste of New Orleans here in Atlanta then I would recommend this establishment.

Friendly and personable wait staff. Anita rocked! Food was good - had the redfish, crab cake, grits and potatoes. The fried green tomato that came with the crab cake was VERY tasty. Good dessert - pecan praline cheesecake.

First off we were greeted promptly with a smlie from the hostess. She was pleasant when we requested to sit some where else. Our waiter then came with in one min and was very high spirited. He greeted us with suggestions on drink beverages and which the wine he selected for me was perfect to the palette. As well as him being knowledgeable about the menu and suggested four dishes for us and the two that we chose were absolutely wonderful and cooked to perfection. The cooks did there best and presentation was on point as well. I had a question about portion and cost at the end due to me placing an order for a coworker and the manager came and spoke with me and he made it better and with a positive attitude. I definitely will be going back by myself and with friends. This is wonderful that I found this place it reminds me of home. The seafood was amazing!!! The service was by far one of the best experiences at a restaurant Ive had.

This was our 1st time here. I took my mother out to eat for her birthday with some family members. This group of people are hard to serve, most times I hate going out to eat with them because of it. They just complain for no dang reason, just because. Anyway, I thought it was pretty good. Our sever was good, the hostess and a manager came by to make sure we were good. The food was good and the Pecan Pie was absolutely awesome. We will be back for dinner. We went around 2:30 PM and it was nice, not crowded at all. It was cold in there though, on a very cold day.

Is attire acceptability based on the color of one’s skin? Yesterday, my friend was kicked out a restaurant because the manager felt that her two outfits were not presentable. The restaurant has no dress code policy and we were able to compare her shorts with other individuals who dine at the restaurant. It was clear that not only was her outfits the same length as one of the black woman customers but that it was longer than one of the white woman customers. Hopefully all the rest are not like this

Great atmosphere, excellent food, friendly attentive staff. We we're in the mood for some Louisiana style food and this place delivered, while I'm not as familiar with the style my colleague said it was on point. One thing is for sure, it tasted good. Crab chowder was brilliant, the gator bites were perfect (the creole mustard paired nicely), and the étouffee delivered.

I love this restaurant! The food was a lot and it was also the right price for all the food that you got! I highly highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area! The drinks are pretty amazing too as well as the desserts! If you have the money for it, I recommend you try everything on the menu and I guarantee you will be good, not even good but great!

Great place to eat. Food is wonderful. Customer service is also great. The jalapeno Burger is really good if you love spicy stuff. Also the crab cakes are another great choice.

I took my dad here for Father's Day. It was crowded but the wait wasn't terrible. The food was great. My dad and uncle had the seafood platter and I had the Redfish with the white wine sauce. They were all really good!

The food here was great! Was looking for good Cajun/New Orleans style cuisine and was not disappointed. I ordered the oysters as an appetizer and Crawfish combo for the entree which was excellent! My wife ordered the gumbo and loved it as well. There were 9 of us and the restaurant handled our party size just fine with no issues.

I read the reviews and decided to give it a try. I wasn’t disappointed. Service was fast and excellent. I had the chowder and shrimp/grits. My daughter had the benigets. The chowder was delicious. Whatever it was that was sprinkled on top was very crunchy. Almost felt like I was showing bits of crab but aside from that it was delicious. The shrimp and grits were very good as well. It is spicy and had a little bit too much sauce for my liking but still very good. I would recommend ordering light sauce. My daughter had the benigets. They were a little too hard, not soft and fluffy like I expected. Still a great experience. Will definitely be back.
