The food was very good. The prices were pretty steep for a buffet where you even get your own drink. We have had a good steak dinner for less money. Still it is good place if you want to eat something different for a change up.

We found this place while searching for somewhere to eat that was new. We LOVED it! Yes, the buffet is about $15 per person but for the price you get a drink and all the home-cooked Southern goods you could want. They have many different main courses and side dishes to choose from (if you want a list, go to their website) . They have a nice salad bar and some great dessert, too! They have soda, iced tea, and coffee to drink. I wish I had taken a picture of the inside because it is so cute! If you are looking for the most Southern food you can get, come here. We will definitely be coming back.

The buffet was really shot down when we got there. It was around 130 pm. It's a little confusing if you haven't been there before. Several people came in and they did replinish the buffet with fresh food. Was a little more expensive than I thought it would be. Around $12.50 per person. Maybe we just got there at a bad time, but it wasn't good at all.

We were on the hunt for a good local restaurant after hiking at Cloudland Canyon and my goodness did this hit the spot! The atmosphere, the staff, the food ALL AMAZING! Larry was so sweet and explained everything was fresh and done themselves. When he told us this, you could hear the pride in his voice. The food taste like your southern grandmomma cooked it. The price was very reasonable (we went for lunch) seeing as drink and dessert is included. We aren’t from the area but we area already talking about when we can come back

If Georgia is on your mind I recommend Larry's Buffet. The most delicious southern, down home cooking you'll ever eat. To add to this, the cleanest restaurant I've ever eaten in. As a restaurant manager for over 20 years, I must say, WOW!! Amazing. I felt right at home. I also loved relaxing on the covered porch with the beautiful mountain rocks, lush gardens and mountain view. As I enjoyed my visit and dinner so much I was there close to 4 hours. Excited about having dinner again at Larry's. The staff was so attentive and kind.

Super good food at a good price. I go periods where I do eat veggie for awhile and that would affect how much I would want to go as some of the better things are not. I like this better than anywhere else like it: Cracker Barrel or O Charleys and so on. I bet they could cook a tasty breakfast. The restaurant looks really nice inside.

This restaurant was recommended by a few co workers. Me and the family drove and hour to have dinner here and we were all pretty satisfied. Greeted by a friendly host and staff we made our way through the various buffets. Salad bar.. meat bar that included chicken, pork chops, fried catfish and beef. Hot and seemingly fresh vegetables and a decent dessert bar. On this particular night a singer was performing to add to the ambiance.

Larry’s Buffet is a hidden gem tucked away in Trenton. The aroma of smoked meats drifts through the air around the rustic decor. Inside, the area is bright and clean with room to move about. The buffet has a nice salad bar with fresh cut vegetables and an assortment of toppings. The hot food is stocked with a great selection of in house smoked meats, southern style vegetables and sides all hand made in house. No boxed potatoes here! Ice cream and and amazing peach cobbler tops off the meal for a perfect finish. Good service, great food, good value. Thank you Larry’s!

I don't usually like buffets, but I was in the area and searching for a highly rated place to eat. I'm glad I went here! The service was really friendly. It was really clean, and they have a sanitizing station they request you use before you go up to the buffet,which is really great/helpful. The food seemed mostly home cooked (really good), with a large variety. I'll definitely be back and recommend it to anyone else looking for southern home cooked food in the area.

We were traveling and got there 20 minutes before closing They told us not to worry, they'd be glad to feed us and they wouldn't toss us out at closing The food was good and hot. They had rice pudding, a favorite rarely seen on menus these days. An exceptionally friendly and helpful staff

Not impressed. For the dinner menu on a Friday. Ribs were dry, Beef in some type of watery sauce, but the chicken wings were deceivingly good. The cat fish was great, so were the shrimp.Dessert was canned peaches in heavy syrup in doughy mixture, some peanut butter fluff, could have used a few chocolate chips. Ice cream was very watery and not sweet. Looks like a lot of processed and canned food is used. All for $15.49. Maybe it was great years ago but think they are getting tired of cooking true southern food.

Walking in you will be welcomed by Larry himself. All of the staff were helpful. My daughter said its like they know what we need before we ask, like they are reading our minds!! Buffet style restaurant. Food was very good. Priced was high at $17 a person. We went on Sunday and the patrons were more than rude. People blowing their nose at the table beside us. People pushing us out of the way at the food bar and never say a word. Patrons didn't have any manners or they just want using them that day. The restaurant management has little control over the patrons manners and we understand that, but we probably will not be back because of it.

Food was just okay. Wasn't particularly hot either. Don't know how you mess up green beans but they were bitter. A worker wiped down the edges of trays and food probably spilled into the other food. She was distracted by conversation with another employee. Selections were pretty bland and for the price ($12 for lunch), it wasn't a good deal.

If you and your spouse have the same conversation as most couples do when trying to decide on where to go for dinner ( I don"t know, what do you want ) Then put ALL your worries aside and go on over to Larry,s Buffet. For one LOW price of about $15.00 per person ( Drink included ) you can have things like Brisket, BBQ Ribs, peel and eat shrimp, whole fried catfish, baked tilapia, some of the best chicken tenders you will ever put in your mouth. Good home cooked food like mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, turnip greens, corn on the cob, pinto beans, fried okra, fried green tomatoes. Desserts are banana pudding, peach cobbler, ice cream, cheesecake. They also have a very good salad bar. With all of that and friendly service in a clean environment, you can't go wrong with Larry's Buffet. It,s about a 45 minute drive for me but well worth it. My new favorite place for weekend dinner.

We searched google for a good place to eat on a road trip, we where not disappointed. The food was all hot and fresh at 4pm on a Saturday. The hole catfish where good, the chicken was also good. Staff was friendly and showed us 1st timers around. Would recommend and if I'm ever hungry and in the neighborhood I will stop by.

Food was good! The sweet potato souffle was divine. Customer service was awesome. We had traveled from Roanoke, AL to the Tennessee Aquarium and Ruby Falls, so on the way back I googled restaurants and Larry's Buffet came up with good ratings. I called eight miles out and asked if he could accommodate 45 people and he was more than gracious. By far, the best customer service and the most friendly people I have every met in Trenton, GA.

First off I must say this is a traditional southern buffet. That being said, it’s not for everyone. The offerings where up to par but not much more than that. If you enjoy butter drenched vegetables and fried food then this your place. I give it three stars because it is what it is.. a nice place to indulge in the pleasures of all “mamas” home cooking has to offer. Best thing on the line, fried catfish, it generally was good.
