You will be able to see the feddbacks of real people like you who buy the services of Imperial Chinese Garden (Restaurant) in the area close to the state of Georgia.
Currently this business has a score of 4.3 stars over 5 and the score has been calculated on 235 reviews.
As you can see it has an average rating is very positive, and it's founded on a very large number of feddbacks, so we can think that the valuation is very credible. If there are many people who bothered to give their score when they are pleased, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to give reviews when these are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Restaurant belongs to the category of Chinese restaurant.
Cute place with VERY FRIENDLY staff. Food was great, prices very affordable. We will visit again.
The best I have had in years!
Great food good service
Quality Chinese food in Stone Mountain, Georgia I was pleasantly surprised by the great food and nice folks who run the place. I'll be in the area again next month so I'll be back.
Good food, good people
This place has been here for more than 30 years for a reason. Fantastic food and amazing service!
Best food ever. Mother in law told us about this place and you won't regret it
Best Chinese food in Lilburn.
Beautiful place with amazing food. Great for lunch or a romantic dinner.
Good people ... Good food!
Just had lunch here and it was a very pleasant experience , the service was great I would recommend anyone to pay Imperial Chinese Garden a visit.
Good food. Very friendly staff. Other patrons didn't seem to appreciate having our 4 kids enjoy hanging around the fountain. But that's a knock on them. The staff was great.
Very nice service and the food was delicious
I dont see how people say the food is good is bland AF.as I've heard before "if the place is pretty much full of old people, the food probably isn't good"... sure enough I couldn't even finish the food it was just plain even a buffet on please t hill taste 10x better Staff was nice though. but will never be back.
Great food
Good food. Soup nice and hot. Tea delicious
I absolutely love this restraunt . Robert and his parents have made this more than just a place to eat. It's like coming to visit family !!!!
Food was only ok. Mongolian beef was good but for $13 it was a 2/3 full container of mostly vegetables. The orange chicken was only ok. Crab rangoon was not great. Overpriced for not so big portions. Friendly service, nice clean place, but not our favorite.
30 year patron, Great food and owners.
Our favorite place for Chinese carry-out
My family and I lucked into this treasure a few weeks ago when we were invited for a friends birthday. We loved the free standing location and as soon as we walked in the front door we were greeted by beautiful plants and friendly faces. The interior is decorated with beautiful carved screens, large paintings and even a colorful wishing fountain that is located right in the middle of the main room. The first time we visited we fell in love with the food and charm of the restaurant. The staff especially Ms. Kim was very helpful and kind. We had been looking for a yummy Chinese restaurant for our family to frequent and left happy that we had finally found one. Today we came back and had another great experience. This family own business has great food awesome service and goes the extra mile to make their customers feel special. Thanks to Mr. Rob and Ms. Kim for the great customer service and delicious food! We will be back soon!
We spent over $45 tonight on the worst food ever. No taste and under cooked. No sauce on the sesame chicken or the House lo mein. Nothing special about the special house fried rice. This use to be one of the best places for Chinese take away food in the area. This place needs to improve or shut down. We will not be back.
Family owned friendly staff
The Mongolian beef was good. My fried dumplings were filled with oil and the filling just tasted like bland hamburger. I don't like that none of the meals come with fried rice, only white rice. You have to pay extra for a side of the fried rice, which is weird because that's so standard everywhere else. Everything else we got was pretty bland. The General Tso's really didn't look like we expected, but tasted okay. The fountain in the middle was beautiful, and the owner really cares about things coming out correctly.
At one time I would given this place five stars. We have been going there for over 20 years. Today I placed an order for lunch. I got a lunch combo meal and substituted the egg roll for a spring roll no problem there. Then separately from that I had ordered a thing of fried rice and then a package of vegetable egg rolls AKA spring rolls. Anyways I had another family member pick up the order when it was brought home the package of egg rolls were meat. I called up there to kindly explain what I had gotten wrong and instead of being understanding the young guy that works there the Son instead of being polite was argumentative over 3 eggrolls. I'm still trying to wrap my mind around how rude he was and it was just over 3 egg rolls. I did not even call to complain about the mistake I just explain the situation that I did not get the correct type of egg roll but he chose to be argumentative and rude and said misunderstanding come bring back the egg rolls give you your money back misunderstanding then click and hung up on me. After over 20 years of going here because of that type of attitude I will not be back. To get mad and get argumentative with the customer over 3 egg rolls shows greed to me. The father in the mother especially the father are so very nice I wish it was them I dealt with especially the father but because of their son's attitude I will not be back. I'm not telling anyone to stay away from this place because of what happened to me by any means I just want to point out that I think it was ridiculous to act that way over a stupid 3 pack of egg rolls that were supposed to be veggie AKA spring rolls and got meat instead. When dealing with the father you will get kindness and with the son you will get a greedy argumentative attitude. I guess in today's time places of business no longer care about customers especially customers that have given them business for over 20 years are so greedy and will not even apologize for something so simple. I speak only of the Son not the parents.
Good food, friendly people...
This is really good Chinese food. Never disappointed.
Good food service was great and the host are friendly
Great service and great food
Food used to be pretty good, but last few times I went it was alright. The service can also get a little lack luster. And when we sat down last time, one of the cups wasn't washed well and had lipstick on it.
Very good dumplings, chicken and beef also tender and moist.
Our favorite place for Chinese for 30 years.
I love this place. I have eaten at many Chinese restaurants around Atlanta and even the country and this is one of my top picks. The Mongolian beef is my favorite. Fresh and delicious.
The Mongolian beef is the best!!!!
Very good Chinese food.
Good food. Large lunch portions. Nice decor. Friendly staff.
Absolutely, by far the best chinese food ever. Delicious!
I’m not gonna lie the place doesn’t look appealing but the foods excellent I in particularly enjoyed it I ordered “house noodle soup” (spice) it was delicious. The staff was nice I had no problems with them they were fine ,one thing tho it all depends on what you order. If you do go I hope you enjoy it and by the way thanks for reading my review.
We have eaten in and done take out. We have not had a bad meal. The food is always good.
Great local place. Basic Chinese menu items but it's all very good.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!! We ordered over $50 over the phone, confirmed order 2 times. My wife and mother picked up the food and asked for chopsticks and extra duck sauce and personnel began to explain that that will be extra charge for chopsticks and 2 packets of duck sauce??!!?! Then we realize they forgot an item from the order and the restaurant proceeded to get an attitude because of their mistake. The only reason we frequent this restaurant is due to its close proximity to our house because the food to be honest is not that tasty. Small portions and high cost. My family and I will no longer be receiving business from this restaurant.
Great location in Lilburn. Hard to use coupons in the mail because of the amounts to qualify
Consistently good food with attentive service.
Won ton soup was good. Egg rolls were good. Sesame chicken and Mongolian beef were awesome! Service is spectacular. Hot tea is complementary. Will definitely go back soon.
Amazing food. Excellent prices as well. Service was great.
Reasonable Chinese fare. A little pricey.
Love this place! My family has been eating here since I was a child. The owners are so sweet and make the best food!
Amazing food. Amazing and fast service
Best Chinese restaurant in this area. Be sure to order the appetizers, soo good.
Good food family-owned restaurant
Food was lukewarm, black hair in the rice, sticky table, and soy sauce container was so dirty that the soy sauce would not pour out! Very expensive for what you get. I maybe would have chalked it up to a fluke for the night, but NO ONE apolgized for the hair in the rice. I will never go back and will tell everyone I know to not go there!
Went for lunch for the first time. Prices are great, food delicious, and was very clean.
Very friendly and prompt service. Great food and large portions.
(Translated by Google) Very good food (Original) Muy buena la comida
This place has the best sizzling rice soup I ever had. Also great for family dinners as well as date. Has really cool fountain in the middle of the restaurant
Very good food
Good food & reasonably priced
Outstanding hostess and food!!!
Staff is friendly and fast. Food is delicious!
Most terrible experience I have ever had here. I have been coming here for 15 years and have always had great food with decent service. Tonight I entered the restaurant at 8:25. There were 4 other families in the dining room. Although the restaurant closes at 9pm, the staff was happy to serve us and take our money. However at 9pm, even though we were almost finished, the waitress asked if she could box up our meal. We replied that we would like to finish the meal there. She then picked up a broom and started sweeping directly next to me, almost touching my arm. We asked her to not sweep near us and she laughed and apologized. She then did a small bit of side work and stood on the wall, staring at my table. We all sat and thought surely she is not eyeing us to leave. We then asked her if she was looking at us and if she was trying to rush us out. She said no but continued to stare. We made it clear we were uncomfortable. The owner walked over to ask what was wrong and we explained. She said the server was new and wouldn't be there long. She apologized for the rude behavior of the server. Two cooks then walked out of the kitchen and plopped down at a table near us. They stared at us as well, one picking his nose the entire time. Being not only a decent human being but also a chef, I was mortified. I walked up to the owner and told her she lost a lifelong customer because of the rude nature of the employees and the lack of respect for the paying guest. The owner even backed up the staff at this point. I am disgusted and will never return.
The decor of the restaurant is awesome. Absolutely the best chinese food Ive had since being in Chicago. The service makes u feel like family. Egg rolls were great , and I liked tht they serve hot tea and a glass of ice water immediately.
Always a joy
We are customers for 20 plus years...this is one special place. Family owned and operated...We moved away, but we still like to visit.
Really friendly staff, good food, and food portions are perfect
The food here is delicious,if you want to a pleasant experience try Imperial Chinese .
Great food. Love the fried rice
They have been a family favorite for many years. It would be hard to find better food or nicer people. We love it!
The Mongolian beef and sesame chicken was so good!!
Brought here by family who rave about this place. l ordered steamed dumplings they were hard uncooked and the filling was terrible tasted like they were freezer burned. My entree was unusual to say the least. Ordered a combination dish consisting of shrimp scallop and crab. There were three small pieces of crab shell supposedly having crab meat inside. I am fairly certain that the content of the crab shells was not real crab meat in two of the three crab shells. Than to make matters worse they were so salty I could not eat it. There were several shrimp on the plate and they tasted like there was some type of coating on them. The scallops were minimal very thin pieces or one or two actual slices .All in all this was probably the worst Chinese meal I have ever eaten. When I got home, within 2 hours Montezuma hit and a little later I was throwing up. Sorry to say I will never go there again.

The egg rolls and crab rangoons are delicious! You could tell they used fresh oil to cook them. The egg drop soup was flavorful. The mongolian beef was a little on the sweet side for my liking but the meat was extremely tender. The peppered steak was also VERY tender and scrumptious! The egg foo young was divine - best I've had in a while. The service was impeccable and we will definitely be "favoriting" this place. We'll revisit very soon.
Absolutely disgusting. Tried because of good reviews. Order came wrong, portion sizes are comical. Eggrolls measured 1.5 inches long. Tasted horribly of msg and chemicals. Food returned after 1 bite. You couldn't pay me to eat there again!
Very nice staff. Food is good and restaurant is clean.
Best food and best service in the area!
The food here was amazing. I was pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend this place.
My first time this restaurant I loved
Good food great people service
Garbage for food. Not good at all. Everything tastes the same. Not good at all.
Asian resturant! Older locally owned business. Good food. Good service.
I LOVE THIS PLACE.Comfort food and sweet owners that CARE!!
Food was ok service was not pleasant or welcoming! will I visit again NO! do I recommend this place NO!
Service and food was excellent .I would definitely revisit this business.
One of my favorite Chinese restaurants. Love their hot and sour soup! Great service!
food was great, service was excellent
Best egg rolls ever! You will not walk out hungry or disappointed. We drive over 45 minutes to eat hear.
Good family owned Chinese reataurant.
Great food great service the dinner for two was a lot of food with a great price and the sizzling rice soup fantastic but I gave my shrimp out of my soup to a friend I only eat coconut shrimp
They know there customers! I was new and the experience was awesome. I am looking forward to becoming a regular. Eating now. Great. Egg drop isn't dyed yellow, lo mein isn't fake. But still serves the fix I'm looking for! Excited
Delightfully satisfied with food quality and portions. Wait staff was friendly.
My wife's family has been going here since they opened. Always a pleasure dining in or out!
Great food, large portions. Don't miss this place. Great folks.
I really enjoyed the food and service here! Would recommend!
Better than your average Chinese restaurant. Generous portions, friendly staff, nice environment. Will definitely return.
They went out of their way to serve our group of 20 people with ten minutes' notice. Our server did a great job and the food was very good.
Wonderful food, freshly prepared, best Chinese food around. We've loved Imperial Chinese Garden for years. It's our grandchildren's favorite restaurant.
They have good food and decent prices. My family hasn't had a bad experience yet and we've been going there for over 10 years!
Very friendly. Food is above average. Price for lunch reasonable. Service above average.
I wanted to like this place. We just bought a house in the area and with the good ratings..
The owner lady is like a Chinese drill instructor and I can't help but like her.
Every time I eat here the service is great and the food is incredible! Odd interior decoration but its relaxing and quick!
Classic American-Chinese place. Fast service, good food.
The server we had was the nicest server we can remember having. Food tastes amazing as well.
We've been going here for over 30 years Best Place In Georgia Keep up The Great work
Quaint and lovely decor! Staff was attentive and friendly. Food was great! My new favorite thing is Twice Cooked Pork!
One of the Best in Lilburn
One of my favorite Chinese places of all time. I grew up 10 minutes away, and we ate here almost every week.
Favorite place to eat. The food is always delicious, the decor is unique and I love the fountain. The staff is wonderful and super friendly.
Best Spicy Basil Tofu around. The owners are awesome. Great service. Clean bathrooms :)
Imperial Chinese has a typical Chinese restaurant menu Kung Pao and Sachiwan chicken and all. Service is not bad may be slower than average. Food is GOOD though, may be on the high side for price. I like the extra crispy chicken wings there. Kinda stuff and short in ventilation and air conditioning in the warmer climate, the reason I gave them 3.
For suburban Chinese, this place does quite nicely. Good food and good enough prices.
Pretty good for Chinese food, if you're looking for huge servings, this isn't your place
Been coming here for years!!!! Favorite spot by far!!! Owners are the best ever!!! Very welcoming and family oriented!!!! Hands down...LOVE THIS PLACE!!! CONGRATS ON THE NEW BABY/GRANDBABY!!!!
Best in area!
It was a great experience with amazing food. The staff was very attentive to what we needed.
Good food and service. Decent portions and prices.
Excellent food and service
Very good meal and service was fantastic!
Best Egg Rolls on the Planet!
Wonderful food, great service. My husband and his family have been going here for years.
First time was delicious, second time was disappointing. Chicken was dry and the veggies so little. There won't be third time, sorry.
Dependably good food and service in a locally owned neighborhood favorite restaurant.
Everyone's friendly
I don’t understand why this restaurant gets a high rating. It is terrible. There was dried rice on my dirty fork; they were very unapologetic about it. The food is terrible. The staff is not very friendly at all. They came running after me out the door because I took the wrong copy of the receipt. It was ridiculous.
Friendly staff. Good atmosphere and great food.
Very good under new management.
Always fresh food and excellent service.
This family owned restaurant has served 4 generations of my family since they opened in 1979. I still consider many of their dishes as a gold standard to which I compare all other Chinese food. Mongolian beef is my all time favorite! Thank you Mr. Choui!
Still really good! They made managerial changes recently but they kept the food and the neighborhood culture family restaurant. The sizzling rice soup is the ultimate comfort food. My family loves this place
We had read reviews online and wanted to try this place tonight. Husband ordered Mongolian chicken and sizzling rice soup for two. This has to be the WORST Chinese food we’ve ever had. And we’ve had food all over the world and know good food. The sizzling rice wasn’t. They had added steam rice to the soup. The ‘broth’’ was nothing more than water. No flavor. Kill it was a poor attempt at SRS. The Mongolian Chicken was also bland. We literally had to add garlic, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes to it to make it even edible. We will never return.
The food was very good with the new owners. The fortune cookie was the best ever.
Delicious. Great service. Definitely going back
Really good food and service
Outdated & too $$$
I have been a customer for over 20 years. Before the "NEW" building they were located in the building across the street that is now Will Henry's. Wonderful service. Great food. Always. We love Mr. Chew and his family!!!
Best chinese food ever!
The WORST Chinese food ever! Decided to drive to this place after recommendation. So disappointed. The food was bland and a few dollars more expensive than my favorite. Will not visit again...ever!
Good food and great service
We ordered 3 items, 1 was good but other 2 are so bad.we went their because of food reviews.
Best Chinese food I ever had. The atmosphere was good and the service was excellent. I recommend this restaurant
Our family has been going to Imperial Chinese Garden since 1977, even before their new restaurant opened in 1979. We love the food, the atmosphere and especially the Chiou family. This is our family restaurant for all occasions and celebrations. Vaden and Carol McDonald
Food is always good here. It is run by a very nice family. They always keep your water glass full which is a big plus for me.
Had the Mandarin chicken. And was not impressed at all. Lacks flavor and spice. It was just sweet and sour sauce with chili peppers. Wife had shrimp and broccoli and did not seem enthused. Food was brought out within 5 minutes of ordering. Food was definitely missing something.
Great service great food!!
Delicious food, friendly owners
Very expensive, for the quantity of food .Wanted to charge for fried rice instead of steamed rice.Very bad experience will never eat there again.
This might be the worst Chinese restaurant I've ever had the misfortune from ordering from. Ma po tofu was in cardboard to go box and half of it ended up in the bag before i got home. The little bit that was left was tasteless except for the high salt content. Tasted like tofu in instant beef gravy or something HORRIBLE! Twice cooked pork was inedible just take it off the menu. Couldn't pay me to go back and i'm sure they really just dont care.
I have eaten there twice and it's the worst food I have ever had. The worst Chinese food ever. I will never eat there again.
Tried take out from here once and was not impressed. The food all tasted bland and basically the same. I think it would be worth trying again on my own when I'm not limited to the narrow food flavor preferences of my in-laws
Always my favorite place to eat Chinese food! 25years + best around !
Avoid. Smart mouth kid. Last experience was very bad.
Good food... but same menu for 35 years
Fantastic food! Local family run buisness.
Comfortable, relaxing atmosphere and real good food that never disappoints. I especially like their spicy mustard on the egg rolls.
Quality, they are just a step above all the rest, family-owned in a freestanding building for decades!
So glad this restaurant is still open and wonderful! Yum!!
Been going here for years. Love it. Food and service is always fantastic.
