Food and service are always great here! They also will accomodate dishes at times, from past menus! Only issue was as a pregnant lady the seating is tight because non of the tables in the dining area move. They are all secured to the floor. Only issue!

Lives up to its' reputation. Comfortable adult atmosphere pleasant and professional wait staff and very attentive valets who move with a sense of urgency and care. The menu is top rate from the appetizers down to the desserts and all perfectly served. Also quite knowlegeable bartenders. You're sure to visit again and again. I know I will.

My girlfriend and I came New Year's Eve. The wait was an hour so we sat at the bar area until a space opened up there. The bartender who waited on us was just great. She recommended the rainbow roll and the Hawaiian steak entree. Both were absolutely phenomenal. My girlfriend also really enjoyed the Filet. Great drink selection and pretty good cocktails. Will definitely be back.

Today's service experience was absolutely disappointing. This is my mother's go-to spot for lunch so I'm here a couple times a month with my mother. I always order a Mojito cocktail with my meal, from the bar. My first drink came from the service bar and instead of returning the poorly mixed MOCKTAIL, I simply asked that the second one come from the MAIN bar. Waitress came back and said that I could only order from the service bar. Recognizing that she was not empowered to make the decision, I asked for the manager. Angela, the Manager, restated that I was not allowed to order a drink from the main bar because they are too busy. I respectfully shared how horribly the last drink was, the frequency of my visits and how I always have been able to order my drinks from the MAIN bar. Angela, the Manager proceeded to tell me how I could coach the service bar bartender ( add more of this, little less of this etc) how to prepare my drink. Who does that? She couldn't make it right the first time. Whatever happened to the paying customer's interest being first?? If I wanted to coach someone on how to make a top shelf cocktail, I could have made it myself AT HOME. Please remember that full service paying customers is what sustains your establishment.

Houston's continues to manifest fern bar chic in Atlanta. It's become a bit pricey over the years and classics such as the hickory burger are long gone. Still the food is well prepared and the service is solid. The Bartenders know what they're doing and mix well. The restaurant can build astonishing waits so call ahead. Let them know about dietary restrictions or wheel chain needs.

Best service ever.. very attentive and professional wait staff. I have been a customer here for over 10 years and the food remains consistently well prepared. Houston's now serve sushi! It's the best I have had in a very long time. Be prepared, this place is pricey but well worth it.

Few places provides a true 5 star blend of food, service and atmosphere. Houston's has gotten it just about right now that they have added reservation options. Can't go wrong here, just be prepared to wait 30 minutes or more on specifically days of the year or on weekends.

Always an excellent experience here. Went recently and noted again that all of the staff members from start to finish were professional and welcoming. Staff also communicated respectfully with each other, and they seamlessly and unobtrusively assisted each other by picking things up as they walked by our table, etc. The food was great as always. Our server, Melody, was fantastic.

The Hawaiian rib eye steak is as good as it looks. This is the ONLY steak that I eat that doesn't need any sauce. It is marinated so it's tender and tastes the same from the first to the very last bite.

Houston's of Atlanta (Buckhead location) has consistently provided good food and service, however it seems like things are slipping off. It used to be that you could grab a seat at the bar and just order drinks, but you now have to leave those for people who want to eat dinner at the bar. The bartenders last night seemed off too, nobody was measuring shots properly and I ordered 3 of the same drinks Kettel One with a SPLASH or cranberry and each one had a different amount of vodka and mixer. I used to work as a bartender and not measuring out drinks properly is a sure way to throw away profits. I ordered dinner from a secret menu of an item that is no longer listed, however the kitchen will still make it for anyone who asks for it because they know you are a long time patron. Can't tell you what it is, but it was great as always.

They only have 3 tables that would sit 6 people. It would 1 hour and 20 minute wait! We didn't want to split up. We going another restaurant that could accommodate us quickly. Go with a small group or make reservations.

This place had amazing service had a wonderful time the chicken is what I ordered with a plain baked potato it was very good very flavorful. My husband ordered the ribs of some sort and they were very good as well and the service was immaculate everyone was very helpful and the atmosphere was very good. They have live music here complimentary valet parking so overall very good experience. I'm not want to eat at places like this often but for this to be my first time I was quite impressed. I I'm not big are spending a lot of money for food this was a little pricey for my taste but overall for the whole experience I suppose it is okay. The menu is limited but there are a good amount of choices to pick from. The five nut brownie was amazing just simply amazing I think it was my favorite thing all night. I don't really like that you have to pay for each drink refill but again that's my preference so overall I was pleased.

Houston's has always been a favorite of ours. It's such a classy and warm place. The food is just tremendous. We love the Double Cut Pork Chop (it's so tasty), the smoked salmon and the Ceasar Salad. On our recent visit I had the Rib Eye (with a Hawaiian glaze) and my wife had the most amazing Prime Rib. It was a beautiful and hearty meal.

Ordered a Burger and fries. Worse burger I have ever tasted made me feel sick. Other items ordered were fine. Waitress went to get manager, he asked me what the problem was with the burger, told him I didn’t like it and it kind of made me feel sick. He asked “did I want another “ I told him of course not. My favorite restaurant in Atlanta! Perfect for business luncheons, celebratory dinners, or Sunday brunch. Try the flying chicken platter (not on the menu) for the lightest crispiest chicken tenders or the French dip for a melt in your mouth experience. Also order the cheese toast (not on the menu) for an appetizer. Can't be beat.

Great ambiance, live jazz music and phenomenal food Houston's Restaurant. The ribs were excellent barbecue sauce on them great flavor with a little crisp fall off the bone good. The prime rib was seasoned to perfection and the homemade horseradish sauce was an added surprise. We will be coming back for sure. P. S. Our waiter Ricky was very attentive and on top of keeping our drinks full all night.

I have been here several times and have never been disappointed. The service is great. Perfect night out when you want more than a chain restaurant without the expensive price of a top end steakhouse. For food, the spinach & artichoke dip is the best ever. Hawaiian ribeye is really good, but it has a sweet glaze on it which may be off putting to steak purist. The ribs are super tender and delicious. The salmon is good but on the smaller side in terms of portion. Overall, I haven't a bad dish here and the ambiance is dim and intimate with jazz music every night.

I've been to Houston's dozens of times, but never wrote a review. It's one of my favorite restaurants. For many reasons.... no matter what you select, it will be a good choice. When you're finished with each dish, place it close to the edge of the table, any server walking by will remove it. My favorite dish is the grilled salmon with creamed corn, but today I had the rotisserie chicken with a sweet apricot glaze. Super yummy! But don't get stuffed on your entree, because you have to save room for dessert. The apple walnut cobbler (a la mode) is sinfully delicious. The decor is reminiscent of old school cigar spots.... kind of masculine, yet warm and elegant. I travel quite a bit, so no matter what state I'm in, I can be sure that I'll have good food and great service if they have a Houston's restaurant there. *cheers*

We love this restaurant group. The food and service is always consistent. This location does not disappoint. Our server Nicole was first class. It appears the wait starts early here, we arrived at 5 p.m. on a Saturday and the wait was 1hr 15min. They provide complimentary valet parking as well.

I’ve generally had a great experience at Houston’s on Peachtree however, my last experience wasn’t great. While my friend and I were talking and enjoying the restaurant and drinking after our meal, one of the employees walked by super fast and swiped the glasses we were drinking from off the table. We weren’t done and it would have been courteous to ask if we were done or better yet if we needed a refill. Very unprofessional. Nothing like this has ever happened to me at the Houston’s on West Paces.

So where do I begin? When we first arrive, valet greeted us in a timely manner, and took responsibility of my guest and my car. We went to the host and stated we had a party with 4 adults and 2 children. The host nicely put us on the waiting list and after 25 mins called our party’s name. The host sits us at a booth and 10 mins later comes back to say “oh you have 6 guest, you can’t sit here” at this point our silverware was unwrapped as we were patiently waiting for our server to greet us. As much as it pains me to even have to still mention, yes our party is African American. The manager storms up to our table aggressively stating we have to get up NOW and go back to the front to wait on a table that can accommodate 6 people. 4 adults, a 1-year-old, and a 2-year-old. He picks up our menus and demands we move before he gets us removed. Which infuriated me as he was acting this way towards my guest especially my child. He then called security to assist us back to the front. We gather our children and belongings and proceed to wait another hour for the same size booth, just in the back corner of the restaurant located closest to the bathroom. As disrespectful as that was, it was a blessing to see the manager, Kyle Wagner, in his natural manner. After have left the bathroom without washing his hands (my husband was in the bathroom while he was too) he went straight to the kitchen window to assist with the food. Totally unacceptable for a restaurant of this tier. With concern for my two small children I had to request him to wash his hands for the safety of everyone in the restaurant and to my surprise, he stated “I can assure you my hands do not need to be washed” in a very condescending way. We wait 25 minutes for our server to greet us, I was very shocked by the amount of time we’ve waited at this point. The rest of the experience continued to declined. Our food took an hour where we watched people who came in after us, heat served, eat and leave before our entrees touched our table. Out food was cold as if it were sitting before it was brought to our table. Now I’ve been to places that have bad customer service but never like this before. The most disheartening part was the end after we paid and we’re leaving out. My son left his sippy cup that we noticed once we were already out the door. As I went back in to retrieve his cup, I walked inside I passed by Kyle Wagner and another associate only to over hear him laughing and say “I’m so glad those f*cking monkeys are gone”. It is 2019 and this type of behavior is completely unacceptable. Where I had every right to lose character, I kept my composure, gave him a daunting stare as he turned red, walked out and contacted my lawyer. I will NEVER come back to this establishment again, after many attempts to give this place chances, it is clearly a racist establishment where I will never put another dollar into. #boycotthouston back in full affect!

I go here for work about once a month, and it's always delicious. It can be a bit pricey for some people, and they don't have fountain drinks, which isn't a huge deal, but paying $2.50 for a small bottle of coke every time is a bit much. The seats in the booths are awful to sit in though. You sink right in, and I feel like a child when I sit down. I have to put my leg up under me to feel tall enough, and I am 6 feet tall!
