I'm 43 and I have been eating there for over 30 years of my life. I've always went for the chicken which is always on juicy and tasty. The mashed potatoes are always great as well.

Lunch prices -Adults is $11.75 and Kids $6.50 Our 3yr old was free. Only 1 toilet for females and 1 stall and 2 urinals for men. Not much of a variety of any kind. They had fried chicken and about 3 flavors of chicken wings- which were all dry and nasty. Meatloaf was topped w unmelted sliced cheese and ketchup. Only beans they had were white butter beans. They had fried fish but no tarter sauce- or grits- to dip with. Mac n cheese was decent - tasted like noodles, cheese and Tony’s seasoning. Salad wasn’t much variety either. Looked like bagged salad. There were no chopped boiled eggs, nor carrot slices. But they did have pickle choices to top with. Their biscuits were dry muffins along w a hard cinnamon muffin that looked (and tasted) like it sat out for 3 days. Also had a cheesy garlic biscuit that was dry as well. Desserts were different cakes that were all dry. Boston cream pie was completely dry and an extreme thin line of cream in the middle. Banana pudding was decent. Don’t try the peanut butter stuff- it’s like flavored whip cream w a tang that lingers. Also hope you don’t get thirsty, price of a meal comes w a drink- even if you know you only want water. Though getting a refill on a summer day was almost impossible. Best things to eat there is the fried chicken and the Watergate salad.

Went to Harvest Table for lunch today. Smelled like home cooking as soon as you walked through the door. I got the buffet to go for $5.99lb. To be honest it would have just been cheaper to sit down and eat, but none the less my food (lunch and dessert) was so good. I got the Salisbury steak with onions and gravy, cabbage, collards, corn, rice, fried pork chops, a little mac and cheese and my favorite of all fat back (yum yum). In addition the cashier was nice and friendly.

The Harvest Table Buffet was amazing. I enjoyed my time here and the food was absolutely AMAZING. in my opinion this was one of the best "All you can eat" Soul Food/ Comfort Food restaurants I have ever eaten at. I had such an amazing time here and their staff was so polite. I even cam back for second and 3rd times with some of my friends and family. I recommend this place to anyone especially those who are traveling and looking for some amazing food to eat in the Augusta, GA area.

My family and I usually take my dad out to eat here because it's his favorite place to dine. This particular time there was something different about it and I believe it was because we came around the time to close on a Sunday evening. The food was not hot to our liking and because I have a toddler to feed I end up being last to fix my plate, that I didn't get to experience the good pleasure of southern fixings. But I won't give up on Harvest Table, I have to catch them on a day when there's more time to spend in there.

First time here, from California, but the Food was very delicious. The decor was dated but very clean, definitely not your run of the mill place. Food had a real home feel to it and taste was the same, you know this is not a cookie cutter board place like the big named buffet restaurants now a days. Best part about it and something I've never seen in a buffet is people starting off at the plate pickup and going down the buffet inline in sequence, no jumping the line or randomly from another location; extremly rare in a buffet restaurant. If you're trying to provoke a heart attack their fried fat back will help you otherwise seeing CNN on their unnecessary televisions should do the trick. Liver and onions had no onions. Lima bean soup needed a slotted spoon to be lima beans. Our "server" (brought beverages and cleared the table) was excellent .

It was a wonderful meal. It is truly southern food and wonderful service. Buffet drink and tax is all included. Adult buffet is $11.75, child 7-12 is $6.50. the food is full of flavor, not bland it tastes like it's made from scratch. It has a salad bar, dessert bar, fried and baked chicken, Salisbury steak, catfish, meatloaf shrimp and grits. Plenty of vegetables. Squash puppies was great. I never heard of them before. So good.

The only issue I have is, sometimes, it can be rather crowded and difficult to find a seat. But, when you try the menu, you can see why it's so busy. When the food is this good, one should expect a crowd. But don't let that discourage you from visiting: the food is darned well worth the wait.

This was my second visit to Harvest Table. It was so delicious my first visit, I told my Dad, any time I'm in town, we had to go. I never get seconds, first visit, I had to go back up for that delicious southern food. This current visit... Not so much. There was an ant on my table. I'm not used to bugs being on the table. I didn't make a scene, I quickly grabbed it up in a napkin and asked the waitress to remove it. She seemed offended. She didn't even apologize as if it was supposed to be there. She rolled her eyes, took the napkin and never came back to the table for the rest of our meal. I didn't go up a second time this trip as the food tasted nothing like it did the last time. Very disappointing to have had such a great meal the first time and a bad meal and experience the second. Not sure if I'll waste a third.
