Loved the food! For appetizers I had the shrimp roll and curry pockets. Both were well made, not drenched in oil, and light enough that they did not overpower the entrees. In addition to the appetizers ordered my table was served a nice sweet and sour blend of cabbage and sliced carrots. It was a nice way to cleanse the pallet before the main course. For the entree my table ordered the General Tau Chicken and Chicken Fried Rice. The broccoli was cooked to perfection and each dish was large enough to share between two people with plenty leftover. Overall I highly recommend this place. Also keep in mind the entire place is vegan despite the menu using phrases such as, "chicken, pork, shrimp, etc..."

This is one of my go-to restaurants for inexpensive vegan food. Everything on the menu is vegetarian and there are SO many options. Basically every Chinese dish you can think of has a vegan version here, to the point that I was almost overwhelmed by all the options the first time I showed up. The cashew "chicken" is definitely my favorite, and for appetizers, the steamed dumplings are phenomenal. I also really love the curry puffs, featured below. All in all, I can't recommend this place enough, for vegans or just people looking for a good, affordable meal.

Excellent food at normal Asian dining prices- even though it’s all vegan! Highly recommend the sweet and sour chicken, the triple delight steamed dumplings, and the beef lo mein. Service is always friendly and fast, after two visits you’re recognized as a regular.

Amazing food! My husband and I have wanted to try this place for years but normally go for Szechuan food when we go to Buford Hwy but we wanted to try something new for our 2 year wedding anniversary. We were both really glad we went to Harmony. Being Vegan and having a huge menu to choose from is super exciting! For apps we got the Shanghai steamed dumplings and the curried pockets. Both dishes were yummy. The curried pockets are not heavily spiced like indian, they are very mild and come on a bed of cabbage with a dipping sauce (like vegan garlic duck sauce) which was nice. The dumplings were also mild and came with a nice sauce. Totally worth trying! The highlights were for sure the Singapore noodles and Sesame “chicken”. This place has so many mock meats that if you go here I recommend trying a few, as opposed to just a veggie dish. The Singapore noodles had mock shrimp which were the best I’ve ever had. The texture was on point and tasted amazing! The sesame chicken was sweet and crispy on the outside. It was the best sesame chicken I’ve ever had! I highly recommended this restaurant. Next time we will skip the apps and get three entrees. **went again, had Mongolian Beef, beef with bean curd chow ho fun, and general tao’s chicken. All very good! The sesame chicken was better then the general.

The food was kind of bland tasting and kind of too sweet which was weird and the servers have not been able to answer me if the dishes are 100% vegan. Their poor understanding of the English language probably added to the confusion. It was clean, neat and the food came out fast. That's it.

The wife is so rude that she said. When we asked for suggestions she said do not waste our time since they were closing in 30 minutes which was a lot of time. Extremely poor customer service. Will not recommend to anyone. Overall had a really bad date night experience because of the poor customer service.

This was a very pleasant find that was delicious and affordable. We've been back twice this week having tried their mock lamb, duck and pork. The mock lamb is our favorite so far. Service was attentive and quick. We missed the lunchtime rush on Sunday and Tuesday around1:30pm. It was worth the repeat visit. They also do a brisk take out business that appears to do very well. If you live close and don't wish to eat in, they've got you covered.

Probably the best vegan Chinese food I've ever had. Whoever the chef is should be extremely proud of the product they make. Despite being 20 minutes away this will be the only Chinese food I eat while I live here. Great service and extremely generous portions for the price. I got an order or fried rice and an entree for roughly $20 and it'll be having left overs for at least two more meals. I will definitely be back next week for more!

This is probably my favorite Chinese restaurant in all of Georgia for a lot of reasons, mainly the amount of variety their menu has and the exceptional flavor that everything I've tried there has. My family loves the curry pockets, kung po chicken, and buddha's delight hotpot. I would definitely give it a try if you're in the area and want to have some good vegan/vegetarian food for a fair price. They're also open till pretty late, which is a plus if you have late night takeout cravings.

Fantastic vegetarian food at good prices. To go orders have a quick 20-25 minute turnaround and can also be scheduled. Honestly, it's kind of perfect. It's a favorite of my non-vegetarian friends too. Try the curry pockets!

Pretty nice.... I guess. I got the chinese pizza, which was pretty much potato or something in the shape of a triangle served with dipping sauce. Liked it. I also got a "chicken" dish.... forgot its name. I guess it was good, but I'm gonna give it 4 stars bcuz I had a stomachache a day later. The last part probably wasn't their fault, but I'm gonna deduct a star anyway.

Vegetarians!!!!! This is a superplace to eat No stress or worry on what's in your food. If there something you can eat. There's always something for you.Very nice environment to eat. I LOVE this place. I went ALL THE TIME when I was younger because it was just THAT good. The food there is amazing and there is quick service. At Harmony, you can bring people in groups of 2 to groups of about 8 people. I highly recommend the Combo platter, the Spring rolls, the Spinach and Bean Curd Soup, the Vegetable Fried rice and the Vegetable Lo Mein.

Harmony has been one of our favorite place since 20 years. My kids have grown but still crave for harmony food.specially their eggplant black bean sauce,vegetable lo mein and kongpou tofu and buddhist delite. Nestled on the Buford Highway corridor in Chamblee, Harmony vegetarian is a pleasant surprise. My wife , my daughter and I split two plates of vegetarian sesame chicken vegetarian moo goo gai pan Which both were extremely delicious and you really could not tell the difference. We also had beforehand, spring rolls and hot and sour soup which were as good has any Chinese restaurant we've been to. I know, when you go to a Chinese restaurant oh, you're looking for beef chicken fish shrimp steak whatever. Next time you're in the area give Harmony a try. You just might like it

Came here for lunch with my spouse today and it was great once again. We had the taller waitress today and liked her service a lot more than the other gal. I ordered the beef (vegan) with string beans and she had the Mongolian beef. Each lunch entree was $5.95 and came with hot and sour soup, an egg roll, and brown or white rice. For that price, I wish I can come here everyday. I'm shocked they are not more busy! Once again, I have to give them a 5 stars because of the service, quality of food and taste. So happy to have found this vegan lunch spot

Possibly the first vegetarian restaurant I ever visited in Atlanta after moving here in 2006. Any style of Asian dish you could want. I love their pepper steak, hubby loves the General Tso's, and kiddos love pretending their eating real chicken legs with the vegan drumsticks. Nice decor, tiny bathroom, food tastes good but is smothered in too much sauce.

I also love their oolong tea, served in a tea pot for the table. The service is always friendly. They gladly meet my needs as a disabled person. Susan is my favourite. Me and my girlfriend went to this place because we are both vegetarians and decided it was a MUST. We went through the reviews in hopes of suggestions because there are so many options! We first got settled in the restaurant by our waitress who was very nice and attentive. We ordered three appetizers first. The hot and sour soup, the (3) drumsticks, and the curry appetizers. My girlfriend absolutely loved the curry pockets. She loved them so much she ordered 2 to go orders. The hot and sour soup was delicious but it was definitely a desired taste. Definitely recommend it if youre sick. The chicken wings were not as good as I was hoping for, we could not bring ourselves to like it. It was definitely interesting though. Our entree was the general tso’s chicken which was sooo delicious. Very large portions for very generous prices. Definitely recommend!

If you're vegetarian, vegan, or any dietary lifestyle and enjoy soy substitutes for protein options, this place is fantastic. I genuinely enjoy everything on their menu that I've tried. The vegetables are delicious and the food is always delicious. I highly recommend drinking a lot of water after eating here, as all of the food will be high in salt with the sauces and seasonings they use. Always delicious, and it makes my heart and stomach happy everytime I find myself at Harmony.

Best vegetarian Chinese food (and honestly better than most non vegetarian Chinese too). I came here years ago with my family, but didn't know they liked it, and only just started coming back about a month ago (but I've been back 3 times with different friends, because it is so good). Meat eaters and vegetarians will all be happy here. It's all vegetarian but you would be shocked at how convincing their meat substitutes are. Even the vegatarian shrimp has a very similar texture and flavor to shrimp. I love their lo mein and sesame "chicken" and each time I go those are some of the most popular dishes for the table too.

A very calm place to eat Chinese vegetarian food. The food is good and the dumplings are the best. The soups are decent. The service is ok but the service is really slow. They ask for your order 10 minutes after you sit down. The waiters also will spontaneously start arguing which can get really tense. Expect 2 arguments per meal. Otherwise this is an ok restaurant overall.

This place is very good when it comes to the food. As for service, however, Harmony leaves much to be desired. On my visits over the years, I have found it to be rude, incompetent, inattentive and generally lacking in professionalism. The dining room manager is a grouchy, older Chinese lady with a limited command of English. I have had to ask servers on a number of occasions for a napkin, sauces that were forgotten, incorrect dishes to be returned, a proper size plate...I could go on. If it wasn’t for the food I wouldn’t bother to go here. The staff makes you feel that they are doing you a favor by taking your order and serving it.

I've eaten many times at Harmony Vegetarian. I wouldn't call it 5 star dining. But, the food is always good, the service is always fast, and they have a great selection of meat substitutes. To top it off the prices are very reasonable. My wife and I just spent under $13 total for lunch. I highly recommend it.

I absolutely livevthis place. I’m allergic to shellfish and my husbands is Chinese and loves traditional Chinese food. So this is a wonderful place to meet in the middle. The hot and sour is really good as well as the Hong Kong style crispy noodle. We usually order 5 different items and take them home and eat them during the week. Friendly staff and I love how they give you fresh oranges for desserts.

WOW. Spring roles are the best I've ever had. I got the General Tso's "chicken" and it was amazing. The "chicken" and vegetable dish is also amazing. I cannot wait to come back. Vegan, vegetarian and meat-eaters (like myself) will all enjoy. Meals came out extremely hot, so be careful.. but that's not necessarily a bad thing, so no complaints here. Servers were very attentive. Definitely give this place a try, it's so good.

This place is absolutely and consistently delicious! I highly recommend the hot and sour soup, Mongolian beef, and filet of fish in black bean sauce. The restaurant is small and cozy and at 730pm on a Friday night about 60% of the tables were full. Most people order to-go but there is friendly table service. I also appreciate that they give you orange slices at the end of your meal instead of fortune cookies.

OMG!! I have recently decided to do the NO MEAT thing and have been upset about not finding food to feed myself that will satisfy my cravings. This place has definitely solved my Chinese food cravings. I had the Mongolian "Beef" and it tasted almost exactly the same. I recommend this place for everyone who prefers no meat. Awesome place! Their food great quality. Portions are pretty big. Well worth the money. Service is excellent owners and workers are extremely nice. My family and I will totally come back. Horrible customer service I was treated very poorly. I brought some food that was recommended and it was disgusting... I wanted to return the food stupid asain lady told me no rerurns, and she was very rude and combative. I would NEVER go back!

I still feel that a lot of vegetarians have not checked out harmony vegetarian. It is simply the best Chinese vegetarian food that I have experienced. They really know how to flavor their food. You will not miss not having meat if you are not vegetarian.

Pretty amazed by this place. Food was great although the veggies were underdone in my opinion. “Chicken” was like real chicken. Not weird gross tofu. Definitely would eat here again.

I'm not vegetarian by any definition but this is still one of my favorite Chinese restaurants. Their meat substitutes actually taste better than the cheap chicken and beef from most takeout places. General Tso's chicken and Mongolian beef are particularly good, as are the curry pockets.

My family has been coming here for over 20 years. We live almost 50 miles away but it is our favorite restaurant in all of Georgia. The food is out of this world and has maintained consistently delicious over the years. I have brought many meat eaters here and they love the food as well! The location isn’t the most beautiful but it is clean, floors are not sticky like some restaurants and seating is comfortable. The staff is very friendly and the food comes out hot and fast. Everything is very fresh. I would and do recommend this place to everyone.

My family loves this place so much. We visit every trip to ATL. Vegan Chinese dishes highlight how easily you can capture traditional flavors in non-meat choices. I have never had a bad dish here, ever! My favorite has to be the Mongolian beef! The staff is always kind and helpful.

Food was great. The only hiccup was that we ordered an appetizer that we did not like and they were not willing to give us a refund nor offer something else. After 10 minutes of explaining this was our first there they finally agreed to offer a different appetizer. Will definitely go back.
