If you visit Augusta, this is a MUST! Excellent food - oyster appetizer is fantastic. Great wine selection and well balanced cocktails. Expect professionalism and outstanding service. Can't wait to go back!

Michael Kaplan

From our first moment until our last, the staff treated us like special guests with attention when needed and space when we wished. From the atypical drink requested from the bar to our final dessert, the food was delicious and wonderfully prepared and presented. There are few restaurants anywhere that provide such an enjoyable experience.

traci lansaw

Absolutely amazing food and service. I suggest sitting at the bar. The bar tender is an outstanding server and makes fantastic drinks.

Andy N

This place was amazing! The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about their menu and wine offerings. The food was absolutely devine! The cost, for me anyway, makes this a "special occasion" kinda place, but I will definitely be back for more!

Kelli Lincoln

The food was delicious. Our server was very pleasant and informative.

shelley watkins

The service was awesome! Food was delicious! I will be back!

Barbara and Bill Reimer

Great for a date night! Love the food and the waiter was very entertaining and frequently made sure we had our needs taken care of. Can’t wait for our next date night!

Doug Holland

Amazing service by Kate and then Rhett! Broccoli Bisque was perfect, as well as the quail. Be sure and try the clams and baby iceberg salad too. There is still fine dining in Augusta!

Kandi Gregory

Delicious food and drinks. Great service and atmosphere

Ronald Borders

Excellent atmosphere. Excellent food and excellent service.

One of Augusta’s best restaurants. Locally sourced farm to table menu! It’s run by a local family that does a ton for our community and charities. Only go here if you want one of the best meals you can find in the CSRA! Fresh as it gets

Micah Trask

This is what fine dining is! It's really expensive but you get what you pay for. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Spouting off specials and entrees and their ingredients. The plates are actually big and filling! And Delicious! This is like once a year kinda dining for me but truly worth every penny!

This restaurant certainly places an emphasis on farm to table and sourcing local produce/meats etc. They make their own bacon and sausage and the food really represents their commitment to fresh, quality ingredients. Even with a reservation snafu they managed to seat our party of 4 without any qualms (and for a restaurant with a long reservation and wait list this was certainly impressive). The two times I have been here the waiters were knowledgeable regarding food/wine pairings and the end results were spectcular.

This is one of the best Augusta has to offer. My wife and I went for dinner on a Friday night and were in no way disappointed. We had some small plates (roasted oysters were amazing). House-made andouille sausage was equally awesome. The 14 oz. pork chop was the best I’ve ever had. We also had the pork belly and it was truly perfectly prepared. The Mac & Cheese was made like a layered lasagna and it worked. The staff was excellent the décor was very nostalgic and we loved our visit. We have lived in Augusta for over a year now and we have paid twice as much for meals which were not equal to this.

Jacob Rosas

A cornerstone to Augusta cuisine, Frog Hollow Tavern brings farm to table ingredients in the midst spectacular ways. Located in the heart of Augusta, FHT has an array of dishes but they lean on their superb pork cuts. If you ever find yourself in Augusta, make it a point to visit this amazing restaurant

Mark Amidon

Excellent service and food

Dyanne Ransom

Nice, upscale atmosphere and great food.

S. Lee Brown, I

Had the absolute BEST meal I have ever had when we visited for our Anniversary. Coming from a 16year long career in food, that says A LOT. We are hard to please in F&B....Kudos to the chef and staff.

William Sexton

Wonderful service. Food was amazing. Drink prices were the best I've seen for higher end spirits. Highly highly highly recommend.

Hector Caceres

We went here for our anniversary a few days ago, and we had reservations before coming. They're open at 5, we came at 5:30 when it wasn't so busy, but then it got much busier later on. The waiter was very nice to us, and they were cognizant of the fact that it was our anniversary. The food quality was great, but the portions were rather small. I had the famous pork chop and my wife had a braised lamb shoulder. Overall the quality of the food is excellent as always, but I would have a hard time coming here for dinner regularly because the prices are very high. Only come here for special occasions.

Pamela Samuels

OMG! The food was delicious.

Niko Centeno

Absolute bliss. Our server Will was attentive and incredibly knowledgeable. The food was an entire experience. 10 stars if I could give it.

david s

I am a Burger guy but not tonight. Outstanding Duck and Callards to die for! I know collards and the staff are exceptional.

Thomas Rogers

The ribeye filet cut was cooked perfectly. Loved the reduction sauce! The pork chop is totally unique and excellently prepared. Good staff and good decor!

Sean Woods

Love this place. We will keep coming back.

Chris Woods

I've said it before and will say it again. This is the best food in Augusta. The menu rotates and is never disappointing. We eat here on all our special occasions and because of that this restaurant has become part of the tradition of "special" for us.

Corrie Space

As we visited Augusta GA this was the place everyone recommended. They did not disappoint! The food was excellent and the service of their staff was fabulous as well. The pork chop was the best! Highly recommended if you are in Augusta.......... Look them up!

Dr. Corbin Fox III

What an amazing place to eat and meet with Friends and family. We had an amazing meal and appetizers. Highly recommended.

Jennifer Jackson

Food over price. Taste of food don't match prices. For those prices, I was expecting the food to be very very delicious but just ok

Matt Lockhart

Most amazing food at surprising prices compared to the ATL! Thanks for getting us in and out in time for Seinfeld show. Great service, too. Be sure to try the pork chop.

We normally enjoy our experience at this restaurant, except for the seating. On one of our previous night's out, we were seated at one of the 2 2-top tables against the wall by the kitchen and felt very cramped/uncomfortable. Our experience Friday night for my birthday dinner was very frustrating. We contributed to the frustration by being an hour early (our granddaughters' game was over early, and we decided to just go early for our 7 o'clock reservation). When we arrived an hour early and spoke to the hostess, she said she would try to work us in. We were seated at a high top by the bar and enjoyed a drink. There were several tables/booths open that we watched that were 4-tops. We watched for an hour with couples coming in an being seated at these tables. After about 30 minutes, we asked the hostess if we could sit at one of the tables outside, but she said it was only for drinks. Finally, about 7:15, the hostess came by to tell us that the couple at the table she had for us should be leaving soon. I told her that if it was one of the 2-tops by the kitchen, that we were leaving. She said it was, but that there was another table that they were clearing that she could give us. We were finally seated at 7:20. We started to leave several times, but really didn't know where we could go on a Friday night and not have to wait for another hour or so to be seated. Our service and dinner, once seated, was good, but we were also very disappointed that we were not given any "special treatment" for either my birthday or the long wait. At a minimum, our drink at the bar should have been comped. If you go, be sure to call for your reservation and request a booth/table away from the kitchen ... and be sure not to be early!!!!

Debbie Dunaway

Nice atmosphere, great wait staff, very interesting menu. Southern haute cuisine.

This is a great place to dine in Augusta GA. The food quality and ambiance were 5 star. Our server, Kate, was knowledgeable, friendly, and thorough. We'll ask for her again when we dine there again. Bottom line: go there. You'll enjoy your dining experience. Now for our quibbles: Noise. Go to the back room if you want to hold a decent conversation. The main dining area was noisy. The conversation at each table ramped up as more diners were seated. And some of that conversation was the staff presenting the menu to the diners. See our comments below. Menu Presentation We dropped one star for the presentation of the menu items. It was long, complicated, and unnecessary. The food on the menu is sourced locally or regionally when possible, which is a positive feature. This feature was printed on the menu, but it was also unnecessarily presented verbally, lecture-like. The menu also used arcane descriptions for common food items. This approach might be appropriate in culinary school, but it was not helpful in choosing a menu item. It needs to be dumbed down to an understandable level. Draft Beer The wine and spirits choices were plentiful and top-notch. The draft beer choices were too trendy for our liking. The craft beer craze seems to have blinded this restaurant into presenting draft beer choices to the latest hip offerings while minimizing the staples like pilsner, lager, ale, porter, stout. For example, there were no Yuengling or Sam Adams traditional lagers or ales available on draft. This omission is almost sinful. The 'regular' beers were available by the bottle or can, but it's just not the same as draft.

Tonia Hardeman

This is our favorite place for amazing food, amazing service, and an amazing red sangria. If you're looking to impress someone, Frog Hollow will never disappoint.

Christina Oanes

My husband and I had a fantastic experience here! We made reservations a few days in advance, and upon arrival we were seated immediately. Our server, Cory, was incredible. He made the menu come to life. He was so expressive and clearly had tried everything on the menu. Overall, we had a wonderful evening and will definitely come back!

Brandon Holdeman

Ok, I am going to be very harsh here. Because the price point of this place, I feel like, tightens the playing field. I am giving 5 stars, but I am going to give the negative first. #1. The pre meal bread was very bland. My wife makes homemade bread, and, in a side by side, there’s no comparison. We didn’t even eat it after trying it. #2. The decor is a bit weird, and, while that is personal opinion, I do wish they could do something to quieten the place acoustically. To many hard flat surfaces, the noise level was really high. Now, positives. Great waiter, wish I had gotten his name. Amazing coffee, loved the flavor. I got the porkchop over the cornbread casserole, that was one of, if not the, best porkchop(s) I have ever eaten. Kudo’s to whomever marinated, and grilled it. Will definitely be back, too expensive for us to go often, but that is ok. The price, overall, is justifiable. Just try to pick an eve other than saturday night, when its less busy/noisy, and skip the bread. :) Personal opinion! You will NOT regret going here though!

matt petrea

Service was very good. Food was good but not for price. Waitress recommend Mac and cheese said it was voted best in Georgia but it was mediocre at best.

Kathleen Thompson

Great food. Friendly and Knowledgeable staff

eric.st.james rowe

EXCELLENT!

Karen Barrow

Pricey, but you don't mind because the food is inventive, from cutting edge to new takes on old standby comfort items. The entire front of house staff is knowledgeable without being either overly attentive or supercilious. Wine list is inclusive. Augustin's are fortunate to have Sean Wright' culinary vision literally at their fingertips.

Jason Parker

Wonderful daily specials, elegant and classy, but not stuffy or frilly. Great date night location.

TimP Almy

On a Saturday evening, a friend and I decided to go for drinks/appetizers. We sat at the bar. Friendly service. Excellent drinks. Delicious appetizers. An enjoyable evening.

Sandra Pittman

Excellent food, and dining experience

Keith Lewis

Having spent 2 full days at the hospital while my brother underwent major surgery and I couldn't eat fast food again, his nurse recommended Frog Hollow. I was seated at the bar and the lovely bartender took my much needed cocktail order as well as my to go order immediately while tending a full restaurant I didn't finish my drink before my incredible food was ready! From the interior to my fabolus bartender on Saturday night I want thank you for making a difficult night a highlight to my visit to Augusta with your beautiful food. PS My brother is doing just fine! K.L.

Robert Weaver

Favorite restaurant in Ga. Never had anything bad, staff is up beat and friendly

Chris Culpepper

This place is great. They called us for our table 2 minutes before our reserved time and service was outstanding and the food was excellent. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Donald Case

Great food, great atmosphere! The mac n cheese alone is worth the trip!

Tim Hawthorne

Amazing experience! Fantastic food! Cory was so knowledgeable and the best service we have had in years! Will definitely be going back.

Heather Guyll

Excellent service. Delicious food and drinks.

Cindy P

This is one of the best restaurants in Augusta. Everything tastes like comfort food. Dishes are flavorful and with just the right amount of seasonings.

Bruce Powell

Amazed at the level of training and professionalism in the staff here. I have worked at "white tablecloth" establishments for years in the past and can honestly say this place is among the best. Cole, our server, was spot on and the meals were fantastic. Zero complaints. Keep up the good work.

Michael

Top 5 meals I've had in Augusta! Frog Hollow Tavern is now my favorite fine dining restaurant in Augusta. I took my fiancee here the night I proposed (before I proposed) because I wanted to make it a special nignt. We enjoyed everything about the experience. The service was great. The entire staff was extremely friendly. The hosts showed us to a seating area where we could order cocktails while we waited for our table. Our server, I think his name is Corey, was on top of everything. He made sure we had everything we needed and he was able to explain every single item on the menu from each individual ingredient to how the dish was prepared. The food was phenomenal. We had the grilled angus butcher steak, the crab cake special, a side of mac n cheese, and the dessert special (I can't remember what it was called). The steak was a hanger steak cut, cooked perfectly. It also came with a mound of fries. It seemed like 2 potatoes worth of fries. The crab cake special was serviced with a side of lightly sauteed arugula which was a nice, light addition to the dish. The crab cake itself was perfectly cooked and prepared. It was half a pound of almost completely lump, blue crab meat. The mac n cheese is an award winning dish for Frog Hollow Tavern. Instead of the traditional Mac N Cheese with elbow macaroni, this dish is more of a cheese lasagna/casserole. The cheese on top was perfectly crusted while the layers below remained tender and gooey. I can't remember the name of the dessert but it was a blueberry and peach cobbler topped with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream. Every bite of this desert was amazing and is making me want to go back for more. The ambiance was also very nice. Though the menu can be considered fine dining, the restaurant is relatively casual. I walked in wearing slacks and a button down shirt but a customer could be just as comfortable wearing a tshirt and shorts here. All the while, the wait staff still treats it like a fine dining experience from the way they pour your water to clearing the crumbs off of your table between courses. Thank you Corey and the rest of the staff at Frog Hollow Tavern. We will definitely be back and I 100% recommend this restaurant!

I originally gave a 5 star rating but I'm taking a star away and here's why. My husband and I have been coming here for birthday's and anniversaries for the past 6 years. Yesterday July 2, at 7pm we came in for our 9 year anniversary and it was the first time that we were a bit disappointed. Nothing serious but consistency is key and that is the reason we have always came back. Yesterday our drinks which were 3 old fashions and 3 Jack Daniel's and pineapple were watered down. We could barely taste the alcohol. My husband had the old fashions and all 3 of them came looking different. One had a whole orange slice with cherries. The other one had nothing but a square ice cube in it. And the third one came with just an orange peel. Plus the drink lacked alcohol, which is what we are paying for. My drinks were the Jack and pineapple. They were tasting more like juice. These are the drinks we have always had from here and they have never been this way. So basically what I am saying is the drinks were not up to par at all. For appetizers we ordered the cut fries and the crab cake. Well we asked for the appetizers to come out together, but we didnt know that they were going to make the fries first and have them sit until the crab cake was done. Our waitress should have suggested we get the fries first because when our appetizers came the fries were cool and hard. Obviously the fries were made then sat there until the crab cake was done, becuase the crab cake was steaming fresh when it arrived at our table but the fries weren't. Dinner was amazing we both had the pork shoulder, smoke gouda mac and cheese and greens! We certainly still enjoyed as this is one of our favorite places to come to. We have brought people here from out of town and we love it. I dont know what was going on yesterday. It wasn't even busy. I've been here before when its super busy and yesterday wasn't. Hopefully our next time we wont have these issues but if we do I will be speaking to management because people spend good money here for things not to be consistent.

tellMeSomething iDontKnow

Very small portions for the price based of the caliber of restaurant. It's a half-measure attempt at a 4 star experience, but a solid 3 to 3.5 in dining standards. Food is good, a true custom flavor that sets it apart from standard chains. More diversity in the menu would have been welcome. It's definitely a place to visit on occasion for a change of pace in dining, but i can think of other places that i would try before going back.

B Fromal

Excellent service and delicious food. We ordered the duck and pork chop with an extra side of collards. The duck was cooked medium rare and delicious. The pork chop fell apart in our mouths. For desert, we had the goat cheese cheesecake and a 20-year port. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Francisco Torres

My favorite place in Augusta.

gatordiddy

I travel every week and am always on the lookout for a great dining experience. Frog Hollow exceeded my expectations. Candace was fantastic and a great source of knowledge about the offerings.

Tamala McIver

OMG! The food was so delicious it literally brought tears to my eyes. I have been dying to go there for a few years now and Frog Hollow definitely did not disappoint. The food exceeded my expectations and so did the service. Helen was amazing and described the dishes in such a way it made you want to taste everything. The pork chop was literally heaven in my mouth, seasoned to perfection. The North Carolina Apple Carpaccio was like nothing I ever tasted before, the blue cheese offset the sweetness of the apple and it was just delight in every bite. The mac and cheese, oh my, layers of goodness. They definitely get 5 stars in my book!

Michael Acquafresca

Great food and friendly staff. Worth the wait to get in. Recommend you make a reservation.

HaiyCat Balloon

Great food, staff is very friendly. Wine list is very expansive. If you find yourself in the area make time to stop in.

Hudson Prince

Very interesting place to eat with friends. High quality food with great customer service.

It's very hard to get 4 stars out of me.i want to give the FRog hollow tavern 4.5 but I cant.the pork chop was absolutely amazing while the steak was just alright.creme brulee.....wow!I love the name frog hollow as my dad grew up their. The setting was very nice, waitress was knowledgeable of the dishes being served and the savangon blanc was perfect.

Best place to eat in Augusta by far. I ate in this restaurant twice and they tend to impress me every time. The menu is changing by season and there is something for everyone. Great selection of wine and fresh ingredients. The service is beyond excellente. You won’t regret it.

Angelofmcy

Frog Hollow used to be my go to restaurant where I could be guaranteed a great meal, however my last visit (August, 24th) was so disappointing, my husband said he won't go back! The waitress offered us the special Port Chop Entree which is usually sooo good, she told us it was cooked, "Medium", and asked if that was , "OK?". My husband agreed, but it came to him well done and greasy. The side accompanying the chop was just a pile of croutons with feta cheese that did not taste good at all. A nice bit of greens would have pared much better. My entree, the special fish that night, was over cooked and dry. The waiter who delivered our meal to the table asked my husband if he would like another beer, he said, "Yes". The waiter said he'd bring it, "right out", but my husband never got it. The waitress we had NEVER asked my husband if he wanted another drink. (First rule of serving 101, ALWAYS ask your customers if they want another drink). Really disappointed with the meal and service that night. For the money they charge I expect excellent service and even better food. Didn't get either.

Rebecca Newsome

We just left from celebrating our anniversary at Frog Hollow. The service, attention, atmosphere, and food were all absolutely amazing! My husband enjoyed the Ribeye, and I had the pork shoulder. We finished our meal with the flourless chocolate cake, which was to die for! We will definitely return, and I have no doubt that we will be as equally pleased as we were tonight!

Debra Vernon

Great place to eat. The staff is TOP NOTCH. The food is excellent. The pork chop is not on the menu but it's available all the time. Atmosphere is classy but comfortable.

Shawn

Great place for a date. The staff is knowledgeable on everything on the menue and where each item comes from. You will probably be spending at least $80 when you come here but it worth it.

Kameron Khaksarfard

First time going, got the cowgirl steak, the okra and the mussels. The mussels were the best. Service was great, food was not chef quality in my opinion, steak was overcooked and fairly bland. With so much hype around the place and the price I expected much more.

Kenton Smith

Hands down the best meal I had during a week in Augusta. The food was very flavorful, extremely fresh, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Josh Suich

I love and deeply appreciate great food and have eaten countless truly great meals. All three of my meals at Frog Hollow are in my top 10. The flavors are exceptional and the staff is beyond professional. (Best staff at any restaurant I've ever been to.. no exaggeration.)

Thomas Reinke

Incredible environment and even more delicious food

Maria Q

The food and service were excellent! One of the best meals I've had in years.

Allen Dennis

Good food and excellent service. We will be back.

Veronica Amos

Good food. Not much of a menu unless you're trying to drink. Also REALLY EXPENSIVE. Dinner for 2 cost us almost $100. Save this for a special occasion only.

Jon Smith

The attention to detail and quality of the food experience made for an enjoyable meal. They have an extensive menu of wines by the bottle of by the glass if you so choose, as well as a nice selection of beers and and other drinks. The food itself was fantastic; try the pork chop, it was definitely a winner.

Sandy Ferguson

Excellent food, very attentive wait staff.

Marie Ferguson

Beautiful place, I haven't gotten a chance to eat there yet, but I can already tell it's amazing! Will update as soon as I do get time to stop in again. Everyone was very welcoming n friendly. There are 2 things in life you should splurge on, food (it fuels you) and comfort (your bedding, clothing). This place has both at the same time. The seating is comfortable, n the ambiance is very romantic.

Richard Stepakof

Wonderful food, unexpected combinations and wine pairings. Attentive wait staff. Explained farm to table concept of locally produced farm products. Will definitely plan to return.

Kyle Fulbright

Great food, great drinks, and good atmosphere! Our server was very knowledgeable and great to talk with! Wish I could remember his name to share but the negroni was too good not to have several!

Lauren Newton

Even on busy nights it is possible to get a spot at the bar without reservations. They split plates for free and or course, all the food is absolutely delicious. We've never had a bad meal here. The pork chops are a favorite.

GA Peach

Absolutely fabulous! Unique cuisine. Food was delicious. Our waitress, Jacqueline, was awesome. My daughter is gluten free and dairy free. Chefs prepared a special side to go with her sea bass. I had shrimp and grits that was wonderful. The andouille sausage is mouthwatering. Well worth the trip.

Steve Baggett

Steak and chop was awesome, Mac and cheese and cornbread salad needs some work. Mac and cheese was not the same as before not sure what they changed

Chris Wells

Excellent again!

Tyler Smith

Had a date night with the lady here. Atmosphere was great. Service was excellent. All the staff are professional and friendly. Food is incredible. Second to none. 10/10 would eat here again.

John Endres

You definitely want to make a reservation! The food is farm to table! Very fresh. Drink menu is good! Bottles of wine a decently priced! Expensive but worth it! The best food item: Gouda mac and cheese!! My wife got the crab cake, and it was pretty good!

Erica Cumings

Food was fairly expensive. We waited over an hour for our food. I had the duck which was good but not great. My husband had steak which was also good but not really worth the cost. Our waitress did feel bad about our wait and sent us home with a free dessert.

Sini Ferree

My friend treated me to Frog Hollow for my birthday and what a great evening we had! Our server, Cole, was very composed and thorough although the place was packed and buzzing! He was kind, knowledgeable and paid just the right amount of attention to us. We had the in-house, caramelized bacon and mussels for an appetizer accompanied by wine. So amazing! For the main course we both had the pork shoulder, and let me tell you... that's the most tender, flavorful and rich piece of meat I have ever had! The side dishes were delectable... the mac&cheese was more like a cheese lasagna block and especially delicious! The collard greens were bright and tangy in contrast. They have a great wine list and some unique whiskey offerings. I can't wait to visit your establishment again. My parents will be visiting soon, and I think this would be just the spot to take them out to!

Kimberly Krawczyk

Dinner was nice and restaurant was decorated well. However, it was very loud and the service extremely slow. Pork chop was phenomenal, but side of corn bread salad was not very appealing.

Elise Edwards

I love the food and atmosphere. But the food is top notch. $$$great place for a special day in a small group.

William Benitez

Everything you've heard about this place is great and then some. Best restaurant in Augusta. Worth every cent for the expereince, food and atmosphere.

Mark Walker

Been wanting to go to this restaurant for a while now just because it sounded like something me and the wife would enjoy. The pictures online for Frog Hollow do not give it justice. The ambiance was wonderful from walking in and I immediately noticed it didn't look like the pictures on Google. Normally I would have taken some myself but this was a special occasion and didn't want to be rude. I ordered the pork shoulder. With this plate it came with wonderful tasting collard greens(not used to them being that sweet but it was delicious), 2 very large onion rings which tasted amazing, and the best side of the meal was the layered smoked Gouda "mac n cheese". I put quotations around that because it's not really macaroni but by far was one of the most delightful things on my plate. The pork shoulder itself fell apart as soon as I started to cut into it and it was great. We had a drink called the Tea Hive. GET THIS DRINK. It tastes like the South for lack of a better way to describe it really. It is made with Honeysuckle vodka, dash of sage flavor, lemon, and honey. It was one of the best cocktails I've had since moving to Georgia/South Carolina region and would go back just for it and a good conversation. We sat at the bar and the bartender was awesome at her job. She was taking care of all the people at the bar by herself and was just getting stuff done. Highly suggest going here. If anything was wrong or kinda ehh about Frog Hollow, it would have been the hostess when we walked in. She might have been new, not totally sure, but the way she approached talking to us could have had less attitude laced in with it. Overall great experience.

Amber Junker

Frog Hollow is one of my favorite farm to table restaurants, and I hope to visit there again soon. The meal we had was absolutely spectacular. My husband had the ribeye with potatoes and I had the show stopper. Braised Berkshire pork shoulder with a smoked tomato pork jus, served with vinegar braised collards, and wait for it... Smoked. Gouda. Mac ‘n Cheese. Let’s have a moment of silence for the Mac ‘n cheese y’all. This was some of the best I’ve ever had. Ever. Also, being from the south, is extremely picky about my greens. This was the only restaurant the I have ever been to that served them perfectly. Perfectly. Bravo Frog Hollow! Bravo!

Elizabeth Garwood

Wonderful place for a date. Great food and atmosphere. Prices are a little high but it is worth the farm to table food.

Brenda Atkins

Staff was a little weird at front desk, food was really good

jimh1996

Very good food with a rotating menu! Most ingredients are locally sourced. Somewhat pricey, otherwise I'd eat here more often. Great for business dinners, don't recommend bringing kids. Cozy atmosphere. Make sure to make reservations!

Dwayne Casady

Had reservations for 7:30. Thirty minutes later we are still waiting....no courtesy of bring told that there are still 3 reservations in front of you. REALLY!!???? I ask how much longer and I'm told "some just ordered dessert and we can't make people eat faster" REALLY!!??? no, you overbooked

Amanda Bradley

Best Mac and Cheese I have ever had. This is seriously the best place for date night in Augusta. I have never had a bad experience here. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Pricey as far as Augusta standards go, but by far the best restaurant in town. Worth every penny!

Michael Siegner

Frog Hollow is one of those marvelous places that hits 9 out of 10 times you visit. They are the farm to table concept with the menu changing based on the ingredients availability. If they have the pork chop, I highly recommend it. They also age some of their own bitters and other drink ingredients and have a rotation of cocktails based on availability of ingredients. This is in addition to a large wine selection, of which they recork and send home any undrank wine from the bottles you buy. If it is a special occasion, primarily when we eat there, then I highly recommend making reservations, especially if it is a Friday or Saturday. It can be a bit pricey, but we have never felt we overpaid, and outside of that 1 out of 10 visits have never even really questioned if it was worth it.

Paquita Poindexter

Really lovely dinner. We didn't have a reservation and ended up eating at the bar. Service starts right when you walk in the door... nice little couches to wait for our seating and a server to take cocktail orders. Cocktails were very well made. All entrees were flavorful and balanced. Ended with a smooth lemon goat cheesecake with cherries.

J T

The best resturaunt I have EVER been too. This was my first visit and I had to sit at the bar due to limited seating but it was worth it. (Call ahead and make your reservation). The place is not HUGE. The hostesses and waitresses got me in quickly after clearing me some space. The bar tenders know, as much about the food as the waitresses and of course serve patrons at the bar if you choose. I told the bar tenders that it was my first time and they explained everything about this Farm To Table inspired restaurant. She also told me what they had that was not on the menu. I went for the quail as starter, pork shoulder for entree, and cheese cake for desert. The quail is unlike any other I have had. Crispy crunchy golden skin served over grits and both the poultry and the grits have their own signature herbs and spices that blend perfectly together. The pork shoulder comes with Mac N Cheese

Richard A Little

Frog Hollow is a very warm, beautifully appointed, atmospheric restaurant. They offer a broad menu with a few less than common items. If a bit pricey, they are somewhat justified by the quality of the food and the extraordinary service. In addition to good food, an excellent selection of fine wine is available. For most, an evening at Frog Hollow is close to elegant.

My husband and I went to Frog Hollow for our anniversary. The atmosphere was very welcoming. We were first greeted by Cory at our table. First he said happy anniversary, and then went on to tell us all about the history of the restaurant. Shortly after that Megan (our server) greeted us. She also acknowledged our anniversary. She told us all about to off menu items that were available. I was very impressed with how knowledgeable she was about the ingredients and where they came from. Mostly i was impressed with the way that she made us feel like some good friends of hers. I honestly will only sit at her table every time that I go. We ordered the pork chop with Mac n cheese and collard greens along with the shrimp and grits. For dessert we had the flourless chocolate cake, peach buckle and creme brûlée. ALL of the food was absolutely amazing. Cooked to perfection, and the flavoring was incredible. I highly recommend this place for any occasion.

We tried a few craft cocktails: old fashioned, Hive Tea, Aphrodite's Kiss. They were all great, but the hive tea was hands down the favorite. Dangerous mix of honeysuckle vodka and Camomile tea with honey. I would note that you can order bottles of wine and take home what you don't finish.

Sean Wight does a great job with one of Augusta's premier restaurants

Pricey but worth it. Ask for their specials and definitely take the time to listen to the waiter/waitress, the local ingredients are impressive and noticeable in both the dishes and drinks. Definitely will be spending another birthday here.

We had the short rib, the pork shoulder and the duck breast. All were amazing! Frog hollow shows exquisite detail in all of their dishes. I have come 3 times and never had a bad experience.

Good food

Miss Miss

Very good food at reasonable prices. Service was excellent. Must have a reservation.

Luke Sherman

Great food and service!

Mary Mac

The food is phenomenal, the service is fantastic. The servers know the menu and have no problem answering any questions about it. I don't usually like grits because they tend to be bland, but Frog Hollow makes grits that taste like heaven. All the food is farm to table, made in house. Their cocktails are as well, they make their mixers in house whenever possible. It is expensive, definitely a special occasion deal, but honestly worth saving up for.

Sarah Stone

The food is amazing. Best pork belly I've ever had, halibut was delicious, and the cheesecake was excellent. Adrianna was our server and she was fantastic.

Julie and Don Sivyer

We celebrated a delightful birthday for our daughter at Frog Hollow. Cory, our waiter, was knowledgeable and attentive without hovering and provided excellent service. Attention to detail and birthday wishes to our daughter from multiple staff made the evening very memorable. The food was excellent and plating was eye catching. We will be celebrating with y’all again!

Cole Allen

It's was good. The cost verses service is what lost the 5th star. Three times I had to get out of my chair to find my waiter. Food was good, I expected a little more by the way the waiter, when he came to the table, explained everything. I got the hanger steak and I can confidently say I prefer Outback or Longhorn Steakhouse. However, it was a very nice looking restaurant, they just really need to work on the service. At least the guy that was my waiter does. I wish I could remember his name...

I made reservations for Frog Hallow a month ahead of our trip to Augusta to celebrate our anniversary. It came highly recommended by our local friends, service was everything we expected and more! Our server Jack was friendly, professional and altogether awesome. I knew from minute one this was going to be a positive review she absolutely knocked it out of the park. We loved the restaurants concept, commited to being farm to table. The fried okra starter was great, Pork chop and shoulder were absolutely heavenly and the Mac and cheese was a religious experience. We plan on returning to Augusta often and I can guarantee that we will be coming back here as soon as we can!

This is a foodie destination spot. Yes, the decor and open arrangement of the restaurant are attractive - including the seasonal flower arrangements. But, it’s the attention to detail and extra effort made for all courses that makes this restaurant an impressive experience. The cocktail menu is creative ( the peach/basil/bourbon smash is delicious. ) Wait until you hear the specials before deciding the dinner courses. Baked oyster appetizer is fresh and tasty. We tried various pork and vegetable dishes, had to share. Leave room for dessert. Wine selection by glass and bottle is great and not too overpriced.

If there was a bright spot to my evacuation it was having dinner at "Frog Hollow" on Broad Street in Augusta, GA. A farm to table restaurant; It was simply extraordinary in every way. Not only did I get to spend some time with my best friends. I enjoyed an amazing dining experience. When life deals you lemons you have to make lemonade. I will always remember Rebecca. She is a rather rare jewel and exemplary of someone who loves her job.

Excellent staff-they're enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is okay. We were sat in a high traffic area so the meal was fraught with the idea that something would be dropped on me. The food was delightfully flavored and balanced as only the very skilled can. My partner had the best Tom Collins of his life (he'd highly recommended the Monkey 47 gin) and the bacon that comes with the pork chop was a highlight for me. All in all a good meal with a pricer tag than I would have liked, but worth the experience.

Erica Dugger

This place was awesome! Our waiter was the best, he was speaking to us about this place like he was telling a story out of a book! The food was so delicious, the atmosphere was great and me and my coworkers had such a great time. Will be going back!

Chris Newsome

This place never let's me down. Always a good atmosphere and friendly staff. I had the watermelon salad and porkchop, both were excellent.

Jamez Si

Amazing place. They have a seasonal menu where almost everything is unique and good.

Wyman Bey

The food and service was exceptional

Donald Tibbs

Greatest food on Planet Earth! You will not be disappointed. Food, service, and atmosphere is out of this world..

Kayla Rose

Frog Hollow tavern continues to put out a wonderful ambiance, great drinks, excellent food and the best service in the area. Not only is their menu original, but it is seasonal with many of the items sourced by Titan Farms which is owned by Frog Hollow. If you are partial for manhattans, Frog Hollow makes one of the best, aging the bourbon in oak barrels, and uses maple bitters.

Luke Walsh

Top 5 meals of my life. Greatest pork chop ever. Went during The Masters week. Crowded but worth the wait!!!

Heather Vaught

This place is amazing! The service was impaccable, and the food was absolutely delicious!!!

Jim Myers

Good food great service

Dan Hoffman

We got the andouille sausage small plate to start. Great flavors, beautiful presentation. I love their house-made course grained mustard. For entrees I got the ribeye, which is served with potatoes and asparagus. My friend got the duck, and my mom got the pork chop. I think the Ribeye was the best choice. Though my husband said his duck was one of the best he's had

Vero Josephf

I recently moved here for business and took all my staff here for quick bite. We had a great service.

bari spesard

Service couldn't have been better. Menu varied and food excellent (pork chop and shrimp & grits...very rich). Casual with friendly elegance.

Marissa Allen

What a great place! Amazing sushi and food. Owner created a really nice atmosphere here and the wait staff is extremely helpful and friendly even when they're packed.

Joel White

Fantastic service and food...outstanding place!

Tim Leigh

Excellent food! Corey, our waiter, was tremendous. Maybe the best pork chop I have ever eaten.

Ken Crowne

Good food, good service, nice cocktails and a easy location.

Pattie Chinavare

We absolutley loved loved loved it! Great staff, delicious food, beautiful atmosphere. Thank you.

Bubba Morrell

Great googly moogly. Best dinner i EVER had. And the lady who treated me to dinner that night made it extra special

Christian Roman

Excellent service. However they specialize in meat dishes. We are vegetarians.

Kirk Carter

This place has amazing food with a constantly changing menu. The staff is incredible and makes the whole experience wonderful. A must eat for any special occasion in Augusta.

James Campbell

Outstanding food, outstanding service!

Chuck King

This restaurant has topped the list of all the other restaurants in the CSRA. Let me start by saying the service was impeccable. I have never experienced the level of service and attention to detail that the staff provided. Ally was our waitress and was phenomenal. Now on to the food. It exceeded all my expectations. Absolutely delicious. We tried things we had never eaten and was blown away. This is a definite must return to restaurant. If you ask me to sum up my experience, simply "EXCEPTIONAL."

margot Griffith

Unbelievable....so fantastic... great food and service.... without a doubt one of the best meals and dining experience I've had.

Bryan Van Blair

I have absolutely no clue how anyplace can make food this great. I was impressed with the onset of walking through the doors. Farm to table is the motto and everything was delicately placed when served. Extremely upscale place with modest prices expected for the Augusta area. I can guarantee this place will be revisited by myself when I have the hankering for only the best of flavors this town has to offer.

Mrs Bauman

I'll start by saying that I ended up leaving and crying in the truck while I waited for my husband to pay the bill for the horrible service and mediocre food we received for our 14th Anniversary dinner. (I gave them 2 stars because when we've been here before, it was good. But not tonight! Tonight, they don't even deserve half of a star!) I spoke with a manager about everything that was wrong and he offered us a free dessert and then explained that it would be free anyways because it was our anniversary. (Oh, that makes everything better! Giving us something free that would have been free anyways? Really?!! Thanks but no thanks!) We were so upset that we completely passed on dessert. We won't be back.

Stephanie Barron

Excellent food, wonderful service, classy atmosphere, attentive manager. We look forward to celebrating another special occasion here soon!

JERRY R

This is the downtown resterant of choice for a lot of the Masters guest's. I drive clients to and from the resterant no one has said that they had a bad experience.

Brandy Douglas

Great as always!!!! They are like our family. We hadn't been in a while and they noticed, it's nice!!!!

Thomas Morris

The pork chop special was juicy and very tasty. Loved their take on Mac and cheese which appears to be layered thin sheets of pastry with a cheese sauce, the top nicely browned. Helpful staff. Lively environment.

filly pena

We came from out of town to celebrate my lexie's birthday tonight and everything was simply amazing!!! Our waitress went above and beyond and the desserts were phenomenal

Ernesto Almazan

Great food, awesome beers. Would definitely come back!

Tyra Cardiel

Finally made it past the reservation monster and had a wonderful dinner. The pork chop was excellent. The fresh seafood was great. The grilled oysters almost had us ordering more. The only issue I can see to be more inclusive there needs to be some more menu items sans pork.

Jessica Lee

Amazing food and wine

Boarding Grooming

I recently went there and I was pleasantly surprised being extremely picky person I am

Jose Casey

Good food but a bit overpriced. Not cool that you can't order food if you are sitting outside.

joshua granade

This place is very unique. The best way to describe it is fine southern cuisine. They also do a lot of farm to table dishes which I respect because I want fresh food and I want to support local farmers. If you have not been here before do yourself a favor and give it a try. You will not be disappointed. Definitely in the top 5 of restaurants in the CSRA.

Matthew Duncan

Best mac and cheese I've ever had in my life!

Gabi Gamble

Food was great, staff superb as usual. The wait for our delicious food was a bit long. Nevertheless, the best place in Augusta.

Brad Allison

Excellent service, great food!

I have been to many places that overcharge for the food. Whereas I do not mind paying, I expect the food to be on par with the price. I pay for atmosphere, service, A+ food quality, and an overall great experience. Frog Hollow Tavern delivered, and I feel to have gotten my money's worth. Let me emphasise the food. It was delectable. They cook the meat to medium. My choice is medium-well. I like a little char. It was perfect. Overall, I recommend this place to any one that wants a smooth atmosphere with low decibels and great tasting well proportioned food.
