Great food, better service, and won't cost you a fortune. A must try in the heart of buckhead
Get the Steak Frite (skirt steak), you wont regret it!
Had dinner here with two buddies. Parking was very easy. The building’s parking deck was free (not sure if it is like that all the time or only after normal business hours as we came in the evening) and there were plenty of spaces available. The restaurant is in the corner of the building furthest from the deck. We walked outside around to the street entrance, only to find a sign saying to use the restaurant entrance in the building lobby, making us backtrack somewhat the way we came. Not a big deal. We came prepared with a reservation, but there would not have been a wait even without one. There were not many guests in the dining room, which was surprising even for a Tuesday night. We had our pick of tables in the restaurant. No complaints there. Most of the other guests were seated at the bar. It was not too loud in the restaurant which I liked. After ordering drinks, bread was served. The rolls were big and really good. They were served hot which is always appreciated. Our table shared the shrimp cocktail and also escargot for appetizers. The appetizer portions were bigger than I expected, and they were both really very good. Our server recommended that we dip our bread in the escargot sauce, which of course I tried. That was outstanding. I would order both of those again. For my entre, I ordered the steak frites. The steak was excellent, but the standout of my plate were the fries. Someone else at the table got salmon. He said it was good, but I would say the portions of both our plates were on the small side. Another of our party ordered the duck. I had entre envy immediately when that came out. His plate was huge and everything looked so good. I will definitely come back and will order that next time. Planning on bringing my wife for date night there soon.
Ask for the pork belly
Thank you food was ok the views were great but it sucks
We had a great meal, as always! Fabrese and Claudine run a fantastic restaurant .
Nice place to meet after work
Great service, great food. Nice quiet atmosphere. Appreciated the wine recommendations for a non connoisseur.
Fabulous
Exceptional country French cuisine & best hand-crafted drinks in Buckhead
Good food! Poor service tonight.
Our new favorite. Love the AMAZING food and service. The atmosphere is casual. Just an all around GREAT plce!!!
Delicious meal, very energetic yet quiet. Very diverse menu. Enjoyable
Bread was amazing
Good food. Slow to come out and also out of a couple items on a Saturday night. Horrible singer and strange server.
The atmosphere is the best part, get a seat by the window and watch life go by on Peachtree. Food was very good and service was good (if not just a bit over chatty). The bar area is also very nice.
Great French restaurant in Buckhead
Would give it 5 stars but service was definitely not deserving. Food was excellent.
small plates was a nice addition to the menu
Superb French food and a great atmosphere!Every dish is made to order, so your dish comes out piping hot and perfectly prepared. The staff is very welcoming and well trained. This is one of those places that the professionalism is obvious from the aggregate of it's smallest details. Chef Capo has created an unbelievable menu which includes both traditional French dishes and creative twists to old favorites. Great place to bring a dinner date or enjoy a business casual lunch!
Great as always
The atmosphere was really nice. It seems to be inside of a hotel building. Valet parking complimentary here. The waiter Jeremy had awesome conversation and really knew how to interact with his customers. Decor was interesting. Food was delicious and cooked to perfection.
Drinks r good the food is awful
We have been fans for years. We love sitting at the bar and our favorite and long-time bartender, Randy is such a great guy! The owner and his daughter are always on hand to make us feel welcome! We love the new menu.... but I have to say that the chopped salad is the best ever! We’ve been fans forever .. from back in the days when this restaurant was next to as Brasserie Le Coze and then FAB downtown. Also, they have about eight tables outside and it’s so nice to sit on their terrace during nice weather.
Excellent food, nice wine list, superb ambiance, mussels are a staple when I visit, and the service is exceptional
Great food and service! Nice neighborhood spot!
So expensive! Quality doesn't match price at all. U even have to pay for parking on top of it all.
Great atmosphere...good food...good service
Not a bad spot. Food has always been good as well as the service.
Delicious lamb burger!
Didn't know what to expect but my wife and I were pleasantly surprised. Great atmosphere and the chicken liver salad and beef bourguignon was amazing. I mentioned don OpenTable that it is our anniversary and was treated very well for the occasion by the staff.Thank you for making our evening even more special.
Very nice owner, but honestly, this is the worse french food I've had in my life. The food in France is better than this place. Seems like most of their patrons are locals from the area including the Ritz Residences, which is above the restaurant. Nonetheless, I was really surprised at how bad the food taste. Here's the problem. The Coq Au Vin is too soggy. It's more like Chicken Soup. It had very little flavor and way too much broth. The Steak was very tough and it lacked flavor. The french onion soup was so thick that I had to have it made over WITHOUT the cheese. With the cheese, the soup is impossible to digest. The Swiss Chard is undercooked and the bread was rock hard. Once we got seated, it took a while before we were greeted. Looking around the restaurant, it could've been due to the fact that we don't look like we live in the area. Never judge a book by it's cover. I'm sure our server was very pleased in the end. If you want really good French food, I would drive down the street to "Bistro Niko". It's only 5 minutes from F&B. The food and customer service is much better. Bistro Niko is a busy restaurant but you won't have an issue with taste or customer service. F&B should focus on getting the flavors and food pairings right. The competition in Atlanta is too hefty to do otherwise.
F&B is now my favorite french food restaurant in Atlanta not only for the gourmet delicious food but also for the location, service and the restaurant is very appealing and elegant!.
Wonderful steaks and atmosphere.
Fantastic french food. Live music and great ambiance. F&B is a great place to enjoy a nice evening with someone you love! Try the Creme Brule.
Excellent food and An Elegant atmosphere. Centrally located in Buckhead with valet parking.
Everytime I go here for dinner and drinks the food, service, and atmosphere rocks!
5 star on the cooks the food and the lady in back has a enormous ass!
Poor service rude without purpose. Female blonde Bartender
Food wasn't that good. To many restaurants that are much better at this price point.
Great atmosphere. Great bar (ask for Randy) and food.
Good food and service. Beef bourguignon was fantastic! Creamy onion soup was great. Thumbs up
Very nice place. Popular with the young professionals. Food is very good.
Great service and bistro feel
Excellent food and service.
Delicious food and wonderful service!
Amazing food with exceptional service. Danbo? Dembo? Our server was incredible! Charming, efficient, full of great information and knew exactly when to appear and follow up. Outstanding professional.
A very good restaurant that features small plates and well made cocktails. Located at the Eastern edge of the Lenox Square district, it is in a residential high rise on Peachtree. A nice spot, that is very popular in the late afternoon. If you're planning for conversation with friends, go a little later for a pleasant evening.
This was one of the best dining experiences I can recall. We started at the bar, where Randy did a great job entertaining my guests. Very unique cocktail list - extensive wine list at reasonable prices. White Bean Soup with truffle oil, took me back to memories when they were in Lenox Square. The Rabbit melts in your mouth. Management is on point here, overseeing the staff and providing a personal touch by making sure each customer feel welcome. We look forward to returning.
Nice place to be. Great music. Wonderful staff. The food is fine and happy beer selection.
Unfortunately this place was a miss. Service was slow, water went unfilled. The seafood was fishy and off. Although taken off the bill, the chef walked to other patrons he knew joking and never stopped by with even an apology that would have taken 15 seconds. Rabbit was good. Seasoning and sauce good but was okay.
I forget what a great place this is to meet for a drink and socialize with friends.
Ok
My client's office is located in the offices above F&B, so I've been here several times for business lunches. The food has always been solid and the waitstaff is great -- very professional, friendly, knowledgeable.
Awesome. Great atmosphere and good food. French cuisine at it's finest.
Very nice and good food.
Delicious and excellent service!
Service was a miss and ambiance seems lost. Not the French I expected and my dish was greasy.
The mussels are amazing!!!
I celebrated my birthday @ F&B. We enjoyed a cheese plate - larger than normal cheese portions, so maybe consider just choosing 2 instead of 3. I also enjoyed the best skirt steak I've ever had with a large pat of homemade garlic herb butter on top - delish! We finished the meal with a delicious pear tart with pistachio ice cream. Service was great. Atmosphere was nice without being pretentious.
I dined last night at this restaurant. First, it was so loud I could not hear the person across from me. I ordered the salmon flatbread and it thick like pizza and the bread was terrible. I sent it back for the chicken and that one was even worse. I ordered the white bean soup and it was completely devoid of any flavor. I don't know how you mess that up. I ordered a half glass of wine after drinking a glass prior and they brought the wrong wine. This restaurant is a disaster of epic proportions.
Wonderful!!
Pros: the bar and the lamb sandwich Cons: price and the occasional big crowd. Review: The bar (my main reason for visiting) is really well stocked and the bar tenders are always coming up with innovative new cocktails featuring clever names and exotic ingredients. One of my favorites called for smoked tomato water! The prices are a bit steep but in no way unusual for the neighborhood. The appetizers are usually a bit on the small side but are usually really tasty - the garlic fries are great as is the charcuterie app. For lunch I almost always fall back on the lamb sandwich - very tasty with a homemade tangy aioli sauce (in the $13 range at lunch). Service is already good.
I really liked this place
Delicious, amazing menu. A must try in the Buckhead/Brookhaven area.
Simple food, done well. Hard to fine in Atlanta with it's current trend of restaurants serving somehow overly complicated and yet still bland food. 5 stars, 2 thumbs up.
BEWARE! F&B is one of the WORST restaurants in Atlanta, in regards to service, that I have ever experienced. Several months ago, a member of my team posted a negative review about the restaurant based on the EXTREMELY RUDE and poor service that was provided by the manager, and that the ordered food was over cooked and cold. During that incident, the manager called the unit/ phone number associated with the order (my number), and began to YELL at me about the complaint made by my team member. I am a resident at the Ritz Carlton Residential building right next door. After the review was posted, I received a call from the HOA Board President of my building, Ferrell Patrick, who asked me to remove the negative review because the owners were friends of his. Out of courtesy, reluctantly I asked the member of my team to remove the review. Since that time, I have tried to give F&B a chance to redeem themselves by continuing to order carry out from time to time, but based on the continued rudeness, meal flops, and my own direct, personal negative experience, I will never order or dine with F&B again.
Excellent food. Wonderful ambiance. Tapas French fare well prepared.
terrible food. over cooked meat. undercooked vegetables. their “duck breast” tasted straight up like beef, pretty sure it wasn’t even duck. the plate was wobbly and i couldn’t even cut or chew it. the plate was around the size of my hand on the inside and it was enough food for a malnourished mouse. if you want your food to take 45 min and then not even be able to chew it then i suggest this place for you.
Great food, atmosphere and entertainment. Looking forward to our next visit. Will definitely get the mussels again!
Comfortable, food is excellent.
I randomly stumbled upon making a reservation at f&b through searching around online, so I had no idea what to expect. I took my boyfriend here for his birthday, and my expectations were blown away. The service was super attentive, and you were never waiting long between courses. The meals we had were wonderful- I had the lobster tagliatelle and I feel like I was talking about it for days. One of my favorite aspects was the staff bringing the bread around- he wore a french outfit that felt very authentic with a basket of bread like we were in a french market. This place is perfect for an upscale date. It is also walking distance from Seven Lamps or Dantana's for an after dinner cocktail (we walked to Dantana's). Overall- GREAT!!
Thursday night dinner... Nice creative dinner and presentation. A newbie to F&B... just a delightful dinner (F&B Salad, Coq Au Vin, & Rack of Lamb), couple of bottles of red wine with great service with guest from out of town! Was pleasantly surprised at the recommendation of a passing Hostess from F&B...
Best food and ambiance to have a drink.
Great place to perform
Food and cocktails are fabulous here. Great happy hour scene and also if you choose to stay for dinner the food is amazing! The soups are my favorite and the escargot.
Went to see Frank Sanatra and Sammy Davis sing live. Food was very good. Service was very good. The ambiance was very good. It is noisy due to hard and high ceilings so can be difficult to hear eachother at times. Ill visit again
The food is delicious. And enjoy the french vibes.
The food is less than favorable. I expected more from French cuisine. The meats are dry and the veggies are slightly over cooked. The martinis are good so this ok and compensates for the less than favorable food , but this experience is not worth a do-over. I'll keep searching for authentic french cuisine.
Wonderful good, and VERY speedy service. The music was good, but hard to hear from where we sat.
Love F&B! The food, the service, the management, love it all! I'll be back soon
Spectacular Live Music, Great Food and Friendly Atmosphere.
The best restaurant
Great atmosphere...great food....great bartenders...loved it...it was my first time there and Can't wait to go back.
Great everything
