I'm not sure how any business would work like this but they really deserve no stars . We order food after 12am since there is limited things open after commiting with our card information and then letting us know it will be 45 min. It wasn't even close to 15 min I got 2 phone calls from a number different than the number listed on the flyer . Like anyone I didn't answer a number I didn't know but she claimed that she wasn't going to deliver and cancel the order since we didn't answer the phone . After apologizing even offering a generous to come back ( know it's 10 min from us) she said she wouldn't deliver here AT ALL ! Claiming she was the manager even though she couldn't have been denying a customer , she hung up in our face repeatedly . HORRIBLE SERVICE !!!! Clearly they don't want money or want customers .

This was just not a good experience for me and my fiancé at all. Although we did come in an hour before closing, that is not a good excuse for why our rice was freezing cold and stale, and meat was undercooked (our server literally said this to us with no care). Like I’m still paying my money right? I expect to get what I’m paying... but like they say you can tell how cleanly a restaurant is by its bathroom and by the looks of their disgusting pee soaked closet they call a bathroom it’s no wonder they just serve anything out out the kitchen.

I always get takeout, so I can't tell about the actual restaurant. The food is great, they have a huge menu, but mostly because they separate beef/chicken/pork, even though it's the same dish, only different protein. Eveything is packed with a lot of care and hygiene. I recommend their wings and the crab wontons. Edit: the meat dishes listed under "vegetarian" are made with meat substitutes, not actual meat.

I was dissappointed. Somehow I expected better food from such a highly trafficked location. It's really the same unremarkable Chinese food you'd find in any strip mall dive. The reasonable prices are the only real highlight. I can't give first hand account on this aspect but, a colleague did note how unsanitary the restroom was.

Went here Last night which was Sunday, the parking is on the side then down a ramp into a parking lot, we walked in their was a homeless person sleeping before you got up to the steps, outside looks like yay nice but inside was pretty basic. We got served pretty quickly! Our water the ice melted quickly which means it was sitting out.. our sever was awesome, patient, kind, the food came out quickly! The portions are a lot! Not the best Chinese I’ve had but if you’d hungry and nothing is open this would be the spot..

Been eating here for decades and their consistency with preparing a great meal has stayed the same. The best place to get vegetarian dishes! There is nothing that we have ever ordered that wasn’t good. Everything is cooked to perfection. We enjoy and really like their food as well as their staff.

Went here yesterday (Sunday) around 6. Service was good and our waitress was attentive. The ice in the water melted fast. The bathroom was NOT clean, smelled bad, and looked bad. They should put some money into updating the bathroom. Replacing toilet seats for uncracked ones, and cleaning doesn't take a lot to get done. The food was marginal really. The soup was good, pot-stickers were great. I got the sesame chicken which was good but the other 4 people in the party got something different. 1 said it was delicious, 1 said it was average and 2 said it was lack-luster. Not to mention, no one ordered anything crazy expensive but we paid almost $80 for 5 people to each get a combination plate and a sweet tea or a water.

My real impression after trying one meal, maybe I need to try some more. The food was base level basic for me, but maybe you would like it. I ordered take out and my rice seemed under cooked, the grains were too hard and it when down hill from there with nothing about the meal to help the undercooked rice. This place have strong support at all hours, so they will be ok

Let me start with something nice -- Food was okay and location was convenient. The overall experience rated negatively based upon the extremely poor customer service. The greeter was rude, impatient and responded to customers differently based upon race. I was subject to her nssty attitude as I decided what to order. One of her colleagues stepped in to assist when she observed her treatment. Pretty sure you'd have more customers if her attitude was better or she was gone. Thanks for the opportunity to provide feedback.

Good tasting food and nice looking interior for a fair price. I ordered the chicken and cashew nuts with brown rice. The slightly bigger than average portion definitely matched the slightly above average price. The Thai Ice Tea tasted good too for $2.75. makes for a good lunch spot with a small group of people.

I went to this place after a night out. It was loud and unorganized at the door. After waiting 30 mins or so we were seated. We sat at the table another 20 minutes until we had to get up and find a server to place our orders. The olrice came out about 15 minutes before rest of meal so it got cold. The food came out and was over sauced and semmingly thrown together. Veggies were raw and the sauce was super sweet. Mind you i had the general tso. It is a spicy dish but this ine lacked spice. Needless to say i wont be going back or recommending it to anyone. Oh and i am a professional chef.

Definitely the best Chinese I've found in the south! Wonton and egg drop soups were wonderful. Crab rangoon were perfect! Sesame chicken and sweet/sour chicken were equally wonderful and perfect. Fried rice was *okay*, although to be fair I think it would have been better had we ordered it with a meat. Service was great! Only real problem was that it was blazing hot inside. Even my 2 year old told me he was "dying" and refused to eat until we took him outside.

The customer service is not that great but the vegetarian menu and the hours are a life saver. The menu says vegetarian but they cater to Vegans. Be sure to ask for the vegetarian menu when entering the restaurant and let your server know that you are vegan. This place is open until 5:00am. We had all vegan dishes. The satay, vegetable rolls, steamed dumplings, general tso chk’n, Orange chk’n and vegetable fried rice. Everything was delicious. If your in the downtown area be sure to check them out.

Every visit to Chinese Buddha is satisfying. No matter what time of day I go the food is delicious and the wait is efficient. Sometimes I order the vegetarian dishes and they taste just as good. My main choices are the fried veggie dumplings, sesame chicken, chicken lo mein, any fried rice, and veggie egg rolls. I especially like getting the egg rolls when I dine in because they are extra crispy and piping hot! LOVE LOVE LOVE this establish!

If I could give them NO STARS I would ... my friend and I had the Mongolian beef which was tasty, rice ? DRY , egg roll DRY and nasty . We walked here from downtown Atlanta, although it was a further walk than we expected the service was amazing and the food was just as good. We shared the General Tso dinner and ordered an extra soup and extra rice. The food was tasty and hot! My daughter even enjoyed some fried rice. The prices were also cheap which was a nice change from all the places we’d already eaten. We highly recommend this Chinese restaurant and will be back next time we are in town.

The food was good. Portions were fine my only criticism is that that automatically built in a 15-20% tip that they put on the final bill as a service charge. I didn't feel like we received adequate service to warrant that tip amount and it was only a party of 3 and a $36 order. I didn't receive any exceptional service. Let me choose my own tip amount. A tip is earned not given.

I'm excited that they have a vegetarian menu. It is essentially the same as the regular menu but everything is made with soy instead of meat. I'm a vegan and most of the items can be made without dairy as well. I kept it simple tonight and got the vegetable fried rice. Unless alot of Chinese restaurants, they put a variety of real veggies in the rice...definitely will be going back.

Food was ok. I never received one of my orders but it was included in the final bill. We were never checked on, so we didn't get enough plates or refills on drinks. Because no one checked on us, we were unable to ask for our missing order. We were charged an automatic gratuity. No incentive for good service when they can charge automatic gratuity. We ended up using soup bowls as plates because we had no where to place our food. I was very disappointed.

Parking is tricky, once accomplished, finding a path to the entrance adds to the adventure, as this restaurant is inside a Student-Living facility. Door Access requires a badge from parking lot into lower level of building, therefore, a brisk walk to the front entrance is fine when weather is cooperating. Look for unmarked black door on the right side of lobby, or walk down to glass doors for a warm Buddha Buddha Belly smile. Hostess was attentive, albeit busy, and a 10 minute wait for completed order to go! Overall, they will remain in our pool of restaurant choices. Quality of food is fresh cooked (tad too much cooking oil used on noodles), and quantity is sufficient at great price!

Today I ordered delivery and the delivery guy refused to bring my order to me made me get up and get fully dressed as I was getting dressed I called the shift manger DANNY ANSWER AND SAID HE LEFT ALREADY!! Entered the restaurant about 12 midnight and the young lady handling the front reception counter sat my party down and left us unattended for 25 minutes. I asked what was happening because the service sucked, she advised it’s only two servers working. Patience is a virtue... my party end up waiting another 25 minutes while patrons who’ve come after we’re served and gone. Asked again to the girl behind the counter when will we be served? She didn’t really answer or acknowledged my being. Okay pause, I was ready to exit at 12:25 and didn’t need an additional 25 minutes for these workers to let me and a few other patrons know how unimportant we were. Since my party was famished due to all of the excitement labor weekend 2018 sprung onto the city. We remained and the young Asian woman was clearly agitated that she was short staffed and doing all she could. I’ve frequented Happy Buddha before several times and this by far was the worst dining experience. As always the cuisine was great but the service was horribly rancid.

Always, always HORRIBLE service! Called twice trying to place a delivery order, both times I was hung up on. When they do manage to be able to pickup the phone, the attitudes suck. The delivery driver forged his tip on my receipt because he did not want to accept the tip that was offered, after going to the restaurant to dispute the charges. The delivery driver called me an hour later and called me the N word twice.. I called my bank to dispute the charges . Hopefully the manger will do the right thing.

Went here for a family members birthday dinner. Crab Rangoons are good. To be fair, I don't like Chinese food so I cannot speak on any other dish, but others in my party enjoyed their food. The service struggled. If we cannot understand you, say it slower! Didn't know who ordered what we even got a dish that no one ordered. The manager stepped in to help without being asked. The parking is free, but you have to walk past the dumpster if you walk on the left side. At least it's free.

Very good lower cost Chinese food. The food was hot, very fast, and tasty. The parking garage is in an odd spot but the restaurant is nice inside and very easy to find from the street. It's not PF Changs but the food is half the price and nearly as good. I would definitely go here again. There are homeless nearby but that's probably true for almost all Atlanta. Don't judge the restaurant by that, they probably couldn't have a better location without charging far more. So for what it is it's excellent!

Considering I had 15 minutes to spare, however, I understand they need time to breakdown, etc. The food was fresh & hot all the way home, ordered to go! Super satisified. I come here often. The service was fast from being seated to the food. Our waiter was kind with a smile, the food was yummy. You can get soup, main entree & a spring roll for around $12. I thought that was a great bargain for a family of 4
