This Restaurant belongs to the category of Chinese restaurant.
I have no idea why this place doesn't have 5 stars. The best Chinese food I've ever had. And really fair priced as well.
Very nice environment and customer friendly, food was also very good.
It's just ok.
We ordered through door dash but the food was great. The general tso chicken had the right amount of spice but also had peppers in it. The orange chicken was outstanding. Also enjoyed the stir fry vegetables. The dumplings were homemade not frozen.
Great food for the price. Consistent!!!
Firecracker prawns, egg fu yung, and sea bass are favorites, everything it good!
Always delicious food with very friendly wait staff. We've never had any food that wasn't excellent. They have the very best sesame chicken anywhere in Atlanta! Menu can be customized, ie, less salt, etc. Just ask! My favorite Chinese restaurant!
Good food, great staff, we love china moon
Great food. Only ordered take out, but polite workers, prompt delivery, and great quality. Fair prices for the quality too.
The food was so/so. Staff was nice.
I've been going here for the last couple of years mainly because there aren't many Chinese restaurants in the area. I've usually had a good experience here with the food and the staff (usually for take out) but the last few times I've been in the 2 women that work at the register have been very rude. I have a medical condition that restricts me from eating food prepared with soy sauce so I usually request the food prepared without it. It appears to be an annoyance to the staff and they were extremely rude when I went in to pick up my order- that they screwed up. Perhaps if they would slow down and listen when you order instead of running around like chickens with their heads cut off they might get the order right. I've started to go to Chin Chin and have had a much better experience- very nice and accommodating.
Chicken broccoli was good, general tso chicken and sesame chicken were supposed to be white meat, but they were a weird, rubbery, mystery fake meat like substance
Amazing Chinese food! Highly recommended!!
It was really bad experience eat here the food was so bad that my stomach star hurting before i finish my food. I don't know if they change the cook or the owner i use to eat here while a go and the food was good
Fantastic experience! Ordered delivery through Amazon just to give it a go... wow! China Moon came through! They came on time, the food was hot and order was correct (even subbed the shrimp for chicken in the basil rice rolls per request)!!
Crab Rangoon was burnt to a crisp. Delivery driver was RUDE!
Great food from a family owned business
Great Service even in rush hours.
China Moon Restaurant is a traditional Chinese restaurant will all the usual dishes you expect, and food is quite good. Of course they have spring rolls and dumplings, my favorite appetizers. The Won Ton Soup as well is good. As a main dish they have a number of seafood dishes, such as cashew shrimps will I love. Overall this is a decent place, the service is good and prices are not too high.
Always enjoy the place. Typical Asian restaurant always friendly greeting and good table service. Food for me is always good so I am happy with this place and recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good Chinese restaurant.
Ok location for quality Chinese food. two thumbs up for this place. the service was very sociable and kind. it has a great atmosphere. they have so many reviews for a reason.
I come here sort of regularly with a friend of mine. What makes this place worthwhile, for me at least, is Ronnie the waiter. He has a great attitude and a fairly dry sense of humor (I think). He makes me laugh. It seems like he's the only waiter working there because he's the only one I've ever seen. I think they do a huge takeout business, which is serviced by two ladies that work the front desk. They're always welcoming and smiling. The food is ok. It's not bad and it's not outstanding; it's pretty middle-of-the-road Americanized Chinese food. The price seems a tad high for what you get. My friend loves the dish made with filet mignon. It's very tasty, but a bit on the pricey side for Chinese food. If you have a healthy appetite, I wouldn't recommend that dish; you'll still be hungry after you finish it. I know I was. The last time I was there I ordered hot and sour soup to start, which was pretty spicy - just the way I like it. I then ordered one of the fried rice (made with brown rice) dishes as my main course, and that was not only very tasty but filling, too. One thing I nearly forgot to mention is that you can order brown rice and they don't hit you with an upcharge, which I think is great. Most Chinese restaurants charge $2 - $3 extra for every order of brown rice (maybe because it takes longer to cook than white rice or maybe because they can). To wrap this up, it's a nice, casual place to go. The people are friendly and the food is tasty, for the most part. I think anything with a white sauce is pretty bland, though, so I don't order those dishes. I also think many of the portions tend toward the smaller size, which may be an issue for those of you with healthy appetites. That's my only big issue with this place.
Fairly good quality Americanized Chinese food. General Tso's chicken, dinner sized order, almost $12. It's a little pricey.
Very fast service, friendly staff and delicious food.
Food was awesome A+
Friendly, fast service, great food at a good price.
Omg
Clean, tasty food, good service, reasonable prices! I will definitely go back!!
Food was good and service was great!
This is the best Chinese food in Atlanta and I will fight anyone who disagrees with me.
It took them almost 2hours to deliver food and the shop is 6mins from my house. When the delivery guy came, he didn’t even say hi or apologize. He straight up asked for a tip! Like who does that? Good isn’t bad, but service is HORRIBLE! Run!!!
The I order the wings were not cook, came, with the fried rice greasy and sticky. It made me stick, Warning STAYWAY! Unless you want food poising.
Good fried rice. The dining area is also nice.
This past Thursday 3-10-16 I ordered dinner for my family and I. The three of us shared sesame chicken, sweet and sour chicken, fried rice and crab Rangoons. The next 2 days (yesterday and today) were miserable due to food poisoning. I called the restaurant and asked to speak with the manager. I informed her of our experience, and all she could say was that the items we ordered could not cause food poisoning! Not one time did she attempt to apologize! I am not one of those people who expect to get reimbursed or try to get food for free. All I wanted was an apology and to make the restaurant aware. I highly recommend NOT going to this place! There are way too many other great places in Vinings!
Decided to try them and I got sick. The rice was sticky and tasted funny. The general tsos was off. The spring rolls were good. The worst part was the next day I saw they failed their health inspection with a 58! Stay away
My top place for chinese food. It has a nice feel to it. Menu is like a place in Miami I enjoyed
The egg fu young was fresh but the gravy terrible. The crab rangoon- terrible. Couldn’t eat one bite. The spring rolls were absolutely disgusting. I paid $30 for the absolute worst Chinese food I’ve ever ordered. Don’t waste your money. I don’t know how they’ve received good reviews.
There phone is messed up and I couldn't make out what the person on the other was saying.. then I got yelled at.. u r food isn't that good to put up with rudeness
Excellent Chinese
Ok food
Decided to give it a second try, take out. Requested corn and water chestnuts with the fried rice and it was kinda like the veggies had been dumped straight out of the can instead of being cooked with the rice at all, very hard and unseasoned. They didn't warn that the wonton soup is bogged down with cabbage, even though my husband claims cabbage has no flavor I could still taste it and only took a few sips of the broth before I gave up. He didn't try to eat it either. Took about 3 bites of the fried rice and ended up throwing it in the trash. It sucks, I really wanted it to be good, it just wasn't.
Service was fine and the restaurant was clean, but the food was not very good. Everything tasted like salt. As a matter of fact, I wanted to ask if I could have some food to go with my salt. I get that Chinese food is fairly salty by nature, but salt was literally the only flavor I got out of anything I ate other than the salad with the ginger dressing. And by the time I had a couple of spoonfuls of egg drop soup, I couldn't even taste the ginger dressing. All I could taste was salt!
This place is awesome! The best Chinese place in the area! I love it here! You actually have to wait for your food because it’s freshly made. You don’t have to worry about msg in your food, your actually getting real food.
The restaurant is not out of business. It just moved locations. It is on Paces Ferry Road now right next to Meehan's. You go into the Quicktrip entrance and it will be on your left.
I've eaten at this restaurant about 3 times prior to today and I've never had a bad experience. I ordered my food over the phone and the guy told me it'll be about 45min. The driver shows up at my door with the food and I turn to put it on my counter and I notice that the driver was attempting to enter into my home (his foot crossed the threshold). I asked him if he could back up. I signed my ticket and bidded him good day. The driver stops me from closing the door and asks if I can tip him. I asked him to repeat himself so I can verify I heard him correctly and again he points to the tip line and asks for a tip. I tell him that I've already zero'd it out and to have a good day. He tells me no it's ok you can change it....I need gas money. I tell him no and proceed to close the door. He decides to stand at my closed door yelling that next time I need to come pick up my food instead of having it delivered amongst other things. I'll never eat from this restaurant or recommend it to anyone.
Quiet, pleasant wait staff, good food.
Well that will be my first and last time ordering from here. Horrible is all I can say. Waste of $10.00 for lunch. Egg drop soup tasted and smelled burned. WAY too much garlic and ginger in the Mongolian beef and I love both. Inedible. Stinky. Gross
Food is good but employees need more sanitation trying.
Great food. Always fresh and hot.
Take out - was highly impressed. My Top 3 in Cobb.
A modest place with good food, good prices. There are fancier places with higher prices, but China Moon does okay.
Delicious food!
I dined in, and the service was great. The food was delicious too. I'll definitely be back. I'm so happy I stumbled upon this place. Prices are reasonable as well.
Best Sesame chicken fried rice I ever had. Also, reasonable pricing and great service.
Delicious food and friendly staff. Great lunch spot
Very good food
Worst delivery customer service EVER
Just visited for the first time, the lady working the front of the house was by herself and still provided prompt, and polite service. Food was fresh and tasted great. Portions were large as well. Will be returning for sure.
Love the service. Always great food!
Me and my BF had the restraunt to ourselves it was amazing. The service was very professional the sea bass the best.Aplus..
The rice was super sticky, not in a sushi fresh kind of way but in a this sat in a refrigerator for a couple days kind of way. However the delivery was quick. Can't beat that. I have to say that the noodles were excellent though, perfectly salted with a touch of soy sauce and nicely seasoned. Not what I was expecting for $32 ..
Delivery driver tried to hold my food hostage because of tip, said his car needs gas an I am required to tip him..then tells me that next time I need to get in my car and come get it..will NEVER patronize again .
Kind of pricey. Menu prices on site are out of date. Asked for no shrimp, but received shrimp in my eggroll.
Average food quality.
Review pending
King Pao Shrimp was tasty and had a good kick.
This restaurant is horrible, the score is a 81 (B) I REALLY believe there meats are not chicken and the Shrimps are Fake. We must be vigilant on what we feed ourselves and what we allow in the community. I threw all of our food away. yuck!! PLEASE DON'T EAT EAR PEOPLE!!!
Quick lunch good food
Great little place. Fast lunch
Well, I was excited about delivery until I tried to eat. Well, the egg-roll (which is not Chinese ) was made with fake cabbage. Yep, can't chew it, can't break it, can sorta stretch it, shot down :(
