Some good food need to take a look at some of the traditional Chinese, very tasty
I placed an order online and called to make a quick change from fried rice to steamed rice but I was told that was not possible. My order was late being delivered and the person that answered the phone could not provide any information on my order or the driver. Once I finally received my order, there were no condiments, no eating utensils, no napkins...needless to say I am very dissatisfied with the service and only gave them 1 star because the food was half descent.
Great service and love the feeling that comes with it. The plates are decorated very nicely and gives you that feeling where you're dining in at a fancy restaurant. This is a really nice family restaurant. The food is really good. You can change the dish any way you want, and if you don't know what you want then they suggest something for you. They suggested me the jalapeno cilantro chicken i like chicken and jalapenos. It was amazing.
Went here for lunch with my husband and kids. It was fairly empty. With nice atmosphere. Waitress was friendly. Give you good size portions. With soup and wonton as free meal starter.
Great food and friendly staff in the heart of East Cobb.
The food at Chin Chin restaurant on Johnson Ferry Road is absolutely phenomenal I've known the owner Jasmine for about 21 years and it's absolutely great if you really want to Phoenix Chinese food please come they have different menu items on the menu it's really good
Excellent food. Hot and Sour Soup is the best around. Great service. Excellent decor. Friendly staff. Lunch menu is a great value. A lot of food for under 10 dollars.
Great experience wont be long before going there again. Love the sesame chicken and the lo mein.
Delicious food for us, tasty good 味道很不錯的中餐館,老闆娘人也很好,值得一試。
I am still in shock at my experience with the Marietta location of Chin Chin Chinese. I made an order for 2 for delivery and received the food 40 mins later as promised. However, upon opening my food, I was surprised to see I received incorrect food. I was willing to overlook this until I took the first bite. Literally inedible. The mystery chicken was too tough to chew and I had to finally give up and spit it out. The "fried rice" was terrible as well. I never complain about food, especially delivery, but I felt forced to call the restaurant and ask for either a refund or a new order. This is where things went from bad to ugly. The gentleman answered the phone and I told him about the situation and ended up on the phone with a "manager" named Ron. Ron proceeded to accuse me and my boyfriend of wanting free food and began saying absolutely disgusting and disrespectful things to us. My boyfriend called back 4 (four!) times and begged Ron to stop talking for 5 seconds so he could tell him what the issue was and the solution we were looking for. We even offered to bring in our untouched inedible meals to swap them out for something new and prove we weren't in it for a "free meal" as we were accused of over and over but Ron was very unwilling to help and continued to be repulsively disrespectful. I contacted another location and am awaiting a call from the franchise owner as I am genuinely concerned about the way their business is being run at 610 Johnson Ferry Rd and the way people are being treated. I will post any follow-up. Ron, I am sorry you are so unhappy that you would treat 2 customers the way we were treated tonight. Your words were disgusting, derogatory, disrespectful, repulsive and downright concerning. You should never have entered a management/customer service position and I feel for any future customers who have to interact with you.
I have been ordering from Chin Chin several times per year for the 5 years I have been in the area. They have provided some of the best food and service for the least money over that time. The deliveries have been quick and efficient. The service in the restaurant is outstanding as well. Easily the best Chinese food in the area.
best chinese food in east cobb!!!
Easy to find, relaxed atmosphere, good food and service. The menu was a bit crowded.
Lunch portions are really generous. Mongolian beef is off the chain good!
I ordered delivery from the business hoping to find a new chinese delivery. The delivery guy was pretty quick, so i tipped him 5 bucks. He was NOT happy with this tip, it wasn't enough in his opinion. When I got the food, it tasted terrible. There was a strange metallic taste to everything. I had about 3 bites and trashed the rest. Not even my 2 teenagers ate theirs!! This place was awful and WAY too overpriced for the service and the crappy food. Gross.
It's relax for visit with babys
5 star service and Chinese food every time
Great taste!!
Chin Chin is not the worst Chinese I have ever had but I won't order from here again. I ordered sweet and sour chicken. The chicken was average but the sweet and sour sauce was yellow, tasted of nothing but pineapple and was not good. The rest of what we ordered wasn't that great either. Also the portion are smaller than average for a higher than average price.
I eat Chin Chin usually once a month. I order the General Tso Chicken, the Basil Chicken, or Sesame Chicken. Th price ranges from $10-$12, but the portions are large. I have never been disappointed with the quality of the food.
The lady that we spoke with on the phone was very disrespectful. She was trying to rush us the whole time and on the flyer it said $15 for delivery and she raised it up to $16 for delivery and when we were figuring what we want in our price range she continued to rush us and she told us to hurry up because she had 2 people waiting and we politely asked her to put us on hold while we look for what we wanted then she hung up!...we will never eat here again!
This place is great, very pleased with the quick service and good quality meal. I like the different kind of sweet and sour sauce.
The food is very good, and they offer AUTHENTIC Chinese food items, which I do not find often.
Food and service were excellent and quantity was large for the price.
Food was delicious and right on time
This is some of the best Chinese in the area. The large dining room was pretty empty but they appear to do a lot of take out business. People were very friendly and the food was above average.
Not as good as i remembered.
Chinese good usually tastes the same from these "type" of restaurants. Unfortunately Chin Chin is at the bottom of the barrel. All 5 dishes we ordered for delivery were bland and unappetizing. I definitely don't recommend this place.
She said the lunch special came with wings so that's what I ordered as a side...... tell me how she comes back 10 mins later with 1 chicken wing!!!!!!!!! What am I gonna do with one chicken wing ...... take my advise and go to the Chinese place in the shopping center down the street instead. Food was ok nothing special.
Very very poor. Service was poor, order was wrong and waited 45 minutes for crispy duck and paid $40 and it was not crispy and not very flavorful.
Best Chinese food in Atlanta. No question
I placed an order for Chicken Fried Rice for delivery. I found shrimp in it and called as my huband has shellfish allergies. They were unconcerned. No offer of a replacement dish, not that we would now trust them to krrp shellfish items seperate. Be careful to use Chin Chin if you have any issues with food allergies. Apparently, they don't care.
Great american style chinese food
Good food wait staff seems extremely cold and unfriendly
Great Chinese food and wonderful customer service. Was given hot tea and in small snack while I waited for my take out.
Very modern clean restaurant. Has very bright atmosphere. Owners are chef and run the front. Has normal usa Chinese menu but have really good creations and specials. Very large lunch portions. Wife is super friendly she really enjoys making you happy.
Everything was beautiful and tasty
I hate this place. My family keeps dragging me here. Epic pass.
Pretty good, good service. Friendly
The Wonton soup is really good, and I really suggest going there if you haven't. The Mongolian chicken is really good and the waiters are really nice. The Korean seafood noodle soup is really good too but I like something more spicy like the jalapeño cilantro chicken.
Nice lunch. Good amount of food.
Good Meals and Well Mannered Staffs
Best Chinese food in the area
Love the Korean noodle soup.
I would give them a zero but it's not an option. Food tasted horrible. Service was even worse. They refused to acknowledge their poor quality of food and would not give a refund after I refused to eat it. I have never experienced such horrible customer service. Apparently customer is ALWAYS wrong. I will never go back.
We always enjoy their food!
To over price ! Don't go here $19 for shrimp and broccoli with pork fried rice
I have had good experiences at other Chin Chins. Not this one.
This place served me sausage pot stickers when i asked for vegetable. I have ordered from this place several times and never ordered meat! I keep Kosher, so I DONT eat pork. I am also vegetarian, so I DONT eat meat! The lady just wanted to give me a free order of dumplings.....next time. NO! I will not be ordering form here again! This was wrong on so many levels and i will be reporting this place to the better business bureau! I am so sick to my stomach right now!!!!!!
You couldn't ask for better service. Food was excellent as well. I had the Mongolian Beef, cooked to perfection.
Best Chinese food in Atlanta. Our family decided to give this place a try for the 1st time and we were not disappointed. WE had the Jalapeno Cilantro Chicken with Vegetable noodles and they use all white meat. The service was excellent from the minute we entered the restaurant. We were greeted with lots of smiles from the servers and the Manager - Jasmine. The menu contains Chinese, Vietnamese, and Thai dishes. We will definitely be back and highly recommend that you give this place a try.
Tried a couple items from the authentic Chinese menu. The pork balls and the braised beef were awesome. The braised beef was spicy and had a numbing effect, like other good authentic Chinese food I've tried.
Previously this was one of the best Oriental restaurants around. Unfortunately the quality of food has slipped...they are very average. I'm was very disappointed with our recent meal, very bland and the rice was hard and dry.
Yeah I can see why the reviews are so bad! The manager avoided my call, said she personally placed the correct order and questioned my integrity. Only when I mentioned I spend $150 on take out for convenience did her tone change. The manager still will not deliver the right order a day later.I recommend you take your hard earned money and have a business that respects you. This place will not see my money again.
Real good food fast and friendly
Just ok..
Great Chinese food at good prices. Try the pan fried dumplings!
Food was so-so but delivery guy was extremely rude. He didn't speak English and didn't know how much to give me back for change, but he demanded I pay cash! when I told him how much, he wouldn't believe me and I ended up tipping him like $8 plus the delivery fee for a $20 food order because he didn't have enough change. Still he wanted more tip. He kept demanding a tip on top of that. He reapeated jeep? Jeep? ( his way of saying tip) I Explained him he already got $8. he was pissed and slammed my door. NEVER AGAIN!!!
Our family loves this place! We usually order and pick up, but when we eat in everyone is very nice too! Food is great, never a problem.
Inexpensive delivery chinese food carries certain expectations, and Chin Chin exceeds those. The food is better than average, and is always delivered fairly quickly. We've ordered dozens of times now and never had cold food on arrival, and we live 5 miles away (about as far as I'd want food to travel). We've also gone for in-restaurant food on a number of occasions, and service was good, with the food being a little better. Still, I don't look at Chin Chin as a restaurant as much as a delivery service, at which they excel.
Very good food
The customer service is GARBAGE! I ordered lunch for my family, and when it arrived, the outside of the bag looked very clean and pristine. However, once the bag was opened, there was grease and sauce ALL OVER, completely unappetizing. We could not tell what we ordered even though it was the most simple thing. I decided to stop in on my way to work to try and have the situation rectified, and an older lady with red hair tells me that she won't be doing anything for the problem. She also proceeds to tell me that her customers never complain, and it's my fault for coming in instead of calling. I will not be giving Chin Chin my business any further.
Food so good end of the price good deal, the place so clean
Best egg drop around
Used to be one of the worse Chinese restaurants, but got better over the years. Will be likely be visiting again
My favorite Chinese food
Excellent shrimp toast!!
Enjoyed the veggie fried rice with brown rice, extra broccoli and tofu. Rice tasted like it was out of a box but appreciate them having brown rice as an option.
It's our go-to place for out of town visitors and birthdays, for over 10 years. Always a hit with our crowd. Comfort food with a cozy atmosphere.
I've ordered delivery and had sit down meals with Chin Chin. Several years ago it was my go to place. The quality seems to down with each order. Portion size is all over the place. I've never had the hot and sour seafood soup prepared the same way twice. No consistency. The last several deliveries have taken VERY LONG to receive and required several phone calls to see if they forgot me. NO real reason to return except there isn't much quality anyplace around here when it comes to chinese food. Two stars only for past glory. I have had much better experiences at other Chin Chins, although they can be spotty also. Maybe management should take a look at these reviews?
I just was refused a refund on my food. I ordered some basic items from the menu. Beef and broccoli, orange chicken, hot and sour soup, wontons. Pretty classic items and usually full proof when ordering from anywhere the first time. The first bite of wontons and could tell the rice paper wrap tasted rubbery and the meat within was dry and void of flavor. The beef and broccoli was bland and the orange chicken was gross as well. The $2.50 hot and sour is not horrid but my wife wanted to keep it as she's sick. I returned everything and had to wait 5 minutes for the owners to show up at which point they refused to return my money. They said everything was made fresh. If that's the case, they must not know their food is lack luster at best and the fact I had to even argue on a refund is ridiculous. Filed a claim with my bank. You'd think the restaurant would want to save face instead of fighting with me and return my money. Guess not.
The food was classic Chinese. Good portions too.
Do not order online. Maybe do not order on a Friday night. Understaffed. Lost order. Not able to be very helpful-waited for an extremely long time. Along with many others waiting.
it's truly sad when a Chin Chin location can't get it together...the quality here is just terrible. We have tried 3 times and have finally decided that we truly do like ourselves too much to do it again. It's over. The reviewer that wrote her take out was freezing and she was told she would have to come into the restaurant for hot food??? Ok, First of all, I can't believe that patron was spoken to in that deplorable manner. Ms. Shannon R., you deserve a LOT better than that. However, I WAS in the restaurant and my food was just as freezing cold. They couldn't explain that one at all except to huff and puff and tell me they could microwave it. Seriously? I have a microwave at home and if I had wanted to stay there the Stouffers would have been more edible. They also explained if they did microwave it and the food came out tough, then well, no pun intended, that was tough for me, I knew the risk....The chicken?? I hope?? was an odd color. an orangy pink color even though it was so shiny and thin that I could see my reflection and through it at the same time. Again, it's over. The only nice thing is a double edged sword....it's always quiet and relaxed in there. That's because they really don't have customers. Dinner ended up being a donut next door at Dunkin.
Average...period.
Gross
Este es uno de los restaurantes ,que si te descuidas te cobran de más
Great delivery and it was really fast and cheap that is why i gave a good tip of $10 it was worth it. Actually it was cheaper than i thought the food was hot and well made and packaged with a wait of around 30 minutes for delivery.
Chin Chin has really nice waiters and about a couple years back I went the first time with my family and it was really good and I started going every other week. When the jalapeño cilantro beef first came out I was surprised it was really good like better than all the other food I tried, the restaurant is really clean and modern they really don't lie when they said it is the best Chinese restaurant for 21 years in a row.
This is one of our favorite Chinese restaurants. I'm always surprised they aren't busier but we don't usually make it at dinner rush time. (We go before 5:30 on Thursdays or after 9.) The service is pleasant and unobtrusive. My husband loved the Tangerine beef. I had General Tso's chicken this last visit. Both good.
Great place to eat. Friendly employees there and very clean.
I made a delivery order for sesame chicken dinner combo - I had to add egg rolls because I didn't reach the minimum delivery amount, which was fine I know most other places have minimums too. I will say they did take the amount of time she said it'd take (45 min) butI felt rushed on the phone to order & rushed when the delivery man came. The food looked good but only tasted so-so. I've had better. It wasn't fresh at all. The egg drop soup wasn't all that great either. The egg rolls tasted like every other chinese restaurants egg rolls. All in all - it's was horrible but I don't think they're worth ordering from again.
Average at best. There are better options for less money.
Found a bug in our food. They then accused us of putting it there.
Great delivery, food is here fast and still hot! Love the food my suggestions are the jalapeño cilantro chicken, mongolian beef, or the prawn scallop garlic sauce
I like the Shanghai Sesame Chicken. I order delivery from here often and it's always pretty good.
Very good food and service
Always great food, and fast delivery too.
Fried crisp chips they serve for appetizers were so stale, the soup bowl size they serve with their "combos" was more of a sampler size and if you order sweet and sour chicken it comes out as pineapple ginger chicken they insist is sweet and sour. No Chin Chin sweet and sour chicken IS NOT prepared with pineapples and ginger sauce. Plus the water tastes like they scoop it straight from the Chattahoochee River
I stop here every couple of weeks. Parking is limited. Interior is nice with plenty of seating. Wait staff is friendly. I like the Bourbon Chicken, Sesame Chicken and all the types of Fried Rice. Park on the side of the building if you are getting a to go order. It will save you time on trying to get out of a parking spot.
Great experience i love the food and service was great
This Chin Chin location has great food and great staff, very friendly and accommodating. I have only picked food up, have yet to dine in, it is very small.
Unfortunately I can not give a zero star but the service here is horrendous! The sesame chicken was very tough and rubbery and when asking for a different plate, since it was not edible, I was accused of trying to get a free meal. After spending $40 I could not believe this was the response. Ron (not sure if that is his real name) is the individual I was speaking to on the phone and he is not fit to be managing this site. He has no regards for customers and is extremely rude. Within the reviews there is a common theme with the food and terrible service. I highly don't recommend this place.
Food was very delicious and service was wonderful and has a wonderful menu
We have order from this location in the past and had good food, but today, not so much. Our spring rolls were like sticky glue and our Pork Lo Mein had a horrible fish smell/taste to it. We thru the entire Lo Mein order down our garbage disposal. We will not be ordering from them again.
Good food, service, and price.
Great food, great service, and fast and cheap. I love i couldn't ask for more or better.
Friendly staff and very good food
The best!
Good food & quick service, whether take-out or dine-in.
Nice clean environment, food was exellent. I recommend this place to anyone who like the taste of real chinese food
Good delivery service
I called to place an order for delivery. Item was $9.00. Cashier charged my card $19.05. When I called back to cancel. he told me that I could not....disputing charges!
I take my family here all the time! Wonderful as always!
The Best Chinese Food in East Cobb.I've been coming here for12yrs.Anybody who really good Chinese food try this place out its AAESOME
Excellent!
Great food for a good price. The service is really nice and the food is great! My family loves it there and so do I. My suggestions are: Mongolian beef, shrimp lobster sauce, and sesame chicken.
Good for takeout.
Great food with great service. Would definitely recommend to other people.
Good food, friendly service and quick takeout orders
I wish i can give a 0 cause thay are very rude and there food not good
