Essence is a very good server. Great service and a great personality. She made great recommendations. The grilled chicken sandwich on the pretzel bun was very good. My wife had the sticky muffin for her dessert and really like it.

Food is good but not great, location convienent in Buckhead but this part of Piedmont Rd is a little generic. The place is a classic though. Would recommend but wouldn’t go back that soon.

Lucas Werschmidt

Waiter Brian was absolutely fantastic and amazing. Knew what I wanted before I even asked.

Aaron Abramovitz

Brian Anonymity

Wow, I really enjoyed this place and will definitely come back. The name and building exterior is slightly misleading, because the food is significantly better than every other diner I've ever eaten in. My only reason for not rating them five stars is because it seems like they've outgrown their building: it was packed with people and it was loud... because it seemed like everyone in there was enjoying themselves. After arriving, I was told that the wait time was 15 minutes. It actually ended up being 30, but the food made up for it. (And I've waited longer than that at other restaurants for worse food.) The waiter was fantastic -he was a pro with plenty of funny one-liners, perfect timing with refills, and an overall pleasant attitude. The menu prices were diverse. I ordered the open-face salmon sandwich; the salmon was quite good (almost as good as the way my wife prepares it!), mashed potatoes and a root beer float. Stuffed myself! Glad I walked... I needed the extra walking. Definitely coming back here on my next visit to Atlanta.

Chuck Turner

Amazing food fabulous service and they give u exactly what u want

Catherine B

Great food, comparable prices... Always visit when I'm in ATL

G C

Good food. Affordable valet. Everything on the menu is well made. Some GF choices.

Grady Roberts

Great food in a cool setting....

J.M. Walker

I had high hopes for this place and was disappointed. We sat at the bar which was empty, so we were served drinks right away. We finished our drinks and could not get the bartender's attention for more drinks or food. She appeared flustered and busy making drinks for the rest of the restaurant, however in my opinion it was not busy at all. Rather than ordering more drinks or attempting to get food, we just got our check and left. Even in getting our check I felt like we had to rudely interrupt her just to get our bill. The place looked great as did the menu which is the only reason I'm giving 2 stars. Maybe it was just an off night which I understand. Will prob try again but not anytime soon.

David Brooks

Great place to take a date for a fancy casual dinner. Had grouper on bed of rice. One of my favorite Buckhead Life group restaurants.

Allen Ferrell

Place is going downhill. Staff and mgt keep changing. Food still ok. Has been a favorite place but am guarded. Removing parking and adding it to valet space is terrible

Scott Leonard

Old school classic spot, great mac + chz

Kalene Chasteen

HOLY FISH SMELL. I thought it may have just been the bathrooms or the smell of the city with the standing water outside, but throughout the entire restaurant was the terrible smell of bad fish. This diner has decent food at best but super over priced for “fancy” dishes that didn’t even taste that good. The burger was super greasy, the mac and cheese watery and covered in some liquid cheese, and the mashed potatoes were just okay. The atmosphere definitely shows signs of its age. Also, apparently they charge you extra for the standard side of fries that come with the burger (that you didn’t order or receive), but also the full cost of an additional side, rather than just an up charge. A really expensive dinner for a terrible smelling restaurant and burgers tasting no where near the over $15 we paid.

Mark Henry

Awesome and fresh Deviled eggs and Wedge Salad

Robert Kelly

We went here for the first time when the Buckhead Life Restaurant Group gave of a $25 gift card. We have been back 3 more times after that. Great food and service at a reasonable price. The ambiance is very cool. This is the least expensive Buckhead Life Restaurant, The Fish Market comes in a close second.

James Hetfield

We come here a bunch, its always a good experience, usually get the chicken sandwich and fries, love it..

Mathieu Hochleutner

Atmosphere, food and service is the best! Really great gem!

Christian Carle

Nice american restaurant. It looks like a restaurant wagon train.

David Kim

Great food awesome staff, good place for lunch or dinner

Jim Fleming

Back on the old culinary Trail and armed with a nice gift card we received oh, we decided to go to one of Atlanta's most iconic and celebrated restaurants, the Buckhead Diner. Part of the Buckhead Life Restaurant Group, the Buckhead Diner is fine dining ambience in a diner setting featuring delicious Gourmet American food with starters burgers sandwiches and delicious entrees. We decided to just keep it simple and go for the burgers. My wife had the salute to the South Burger which was topped with fried pimento cheese and I had something called the CBS Burger. We both wholeheartedly agreed those are two of the best burgers we have ever enjoyed. Both made from ground short rib and brisket and very tasty very flavorful and again absolutely two of the best burgers we have ever enjoyed. We will expand our Horizons the next time we return

Rod Werner

Property EXCEPTIONAL in appearance and condition. Staff was 5 star. Service by Ryan extraordinary. We wanted for nothing it was there before even thinking to have to about what was needed or wished for. The food outstanding plentiful hot well prepared and presented. Priced extremely fair for venue and fare. We will return and recommend to all.

Cindy Sellers

Really nice looking restaurant inside and out. Terrific menu from start to finish. Clean environment in good repair. Excellent service and plate presentation.

Keturah Miller

The pastrami sandwich left a lot to be desired

Susan Prack-Leyden

The most delicious salmon ever! Top notch service

LT T.

Great food & atmosphere

Lynne Anderson

The food was plentiful, delicious, and the service excellent! I will definitely go back!

Robert Cox

Great food and even better service. Upscale diner atmosphere.

Angela Yeo

The food is VERY overpriced. I got a chicken sandwich with fries and it was $18... The food was mediocre. The waitress was very nice. But overall, the quality of the food was not worth the price they were charging for. For the price for the chicken sandwich, you would’ve thought they were serving organic chicken and truffle fries. I should’ve gone to chick fil a.

Stephanie Sheard

Calamari excellent. Gumbo amazing. Staff is awesome. Classy.

Nick Neuman

Had the meatloaf and burger and it was so good!!

raven3327

Wow! An amazing experience! Great food and great service! The staff and manager were very attentive! Highly recommended!

Jeffrey Duus

A different menu then most diners. Bordering on upscale. My roasted tomato soup was on the salty side.

Ray Scholten

Food was fantastic and the waiter was great! Way to go Michael!

Jay Block

Decent food seems as tho I caught the b team though.. crab cakes was cold, burger was good but wasn't medium rare like I requested which shows me the chef isn't who he say he is, but hey I dont run the joint.. better luck next time!!!

luis rodriguez

Buckhead Diner is a favorite spot. It's a beautiful diner. They have a great southern burger and a good vanilla shake.

Claire Jones

Excellent fare and service

Richard Baillie

Food was delicious and your server was awesome

Terri Thomas

The service was great and food was delicious!

Ken Hanning

Excellent food! Cool place for lunch, and will have to return for Dinner.

trey flowers

Great place. Old school Atlanta. Love going there. Amazing shakes

Sharon

This is an OK place to go in Atlanta if you want the experience of eating at a diner. The host was snooty and short with us. The bar staff were great. The server, similar to the host, not personable at all, she was rushing us to order, and when the food came we had no utensils. The food is not bad, but it wasn’t great either. Overall, very pricey for sub par service and mediocre food. If you want to eat at a diner, go here, if you want good food and great service, give it a miss.

Elizabeth Regan

I had eggs Benedict and they were lovely. My friend had the eggs and potatoes but the eggs were far too runny even after gong over with the server I detail about how she wanted them. The actual diner is lovely though.

Jamal X

Everything was great. Highly recommended.

Doug Horton

You responded, "[W]e will discuss your experience with everyone involved to make sure this does not happen again." That is odd because I had not yet told you what had happened. I have eaten here for lunch twice. The atmosphere is crowded and noisy. Our party was seated at a table with barely any room between our chairs and the booths around us. The food had hair visibly lying on it. And the fish ordered by two people in our party was reportedly under-cooked.

Don Deal

I like all of the buckwheat life restaurants. Although one of the oldest, Buckhead Diner has lost none of its appeal over the years. Reliably great service and good food.

Danielle Marie

Very impressed with the food & service. I will definitely be back.

Dionne Fields

My two sons’ and I love dining at the famous Buckhead Diner whenever we visit Atlanta. Buckhead Diner is just minutes from Lenox Mall in Buckhead Community that never sleeps. My family really does enjoy eating the best-fried chicken in Atlanta at Buckhead Diner. They have amazing kid’s menu, my youngest son likes the Little Diner’s menu with flash fried chicken fingers. The best pastry chefs in the world are working at Buckhead Diner, they have a dessert menu that is mind blowing. My favorite desserts are their famous white chocolate banana cream pie and their peaches & cream custard.

Susan Stockwell

Awesome service! Good food! Beautiful decor. Cuban sandwich is delicious.

James Tola

Our server was the best. We had just walked up the street to the diner on a whim only to find Senior prom dates filling the restaurant. The kitchen and wait staff were very conscientious attending to other guests making a potentially riotous evening out tame, fun in the midst of senior high school students. Food was fresh and well seasoned.

Déjah King

Service was wonderful. Our server was very attentive to allergy issues. Went above and beyond to get information directly from the chef to questions about our concerns. She was a joy.

Mike Davis

Amazing food. Try the blue cheese chips

Joe Jackson

Food was Great , Service Top Notch

Randy Terry

Great place for American style food. The food is always great and the price point is good. Very friendly servers.

Bill Cleghorn

Impeccable service.... Very friendly and helpful staff from greeting at the entry til my departure.... Wait staff hustled and shared duties so everything arrived timely and hot, glasses and cup were never empty... Shrimp and grits were outstanding... Large shrimp cooked just enough to be done and still tender and juicy... The tasso ham and gravy really sets off the mix of flavors.... Excellent brunch.....

Brock West

Surprising quality for a "Diner"

Kirk Talbott

Good food. Creative upscale menu. Old school formality meets chrome diner. 1 of a kind.

Sameer Patel

Very bland. I’m sure it’s good for others who truly enjoy simply southern flavors, but lacks the flavor profile likely required for tourists/anyone outside the south.

Maizie Hale

The food and service is great!

Karen O'Donovan

Excellent food and service. Would definitely go back

Robert May

Excellent service, excellent meals, very surprised with how upscale this little diner could be! Highly recommend the steak and the meatloaf!

Norvella Tastytopia

We told our server we wanted to personally thank the cooks! The food was excellent!

Stephen Moss

Always a favorite place for comfort diner food. Family and I enjoy appetizers and simple entrees each visit. It is Atlanta...so be sure to have a Coca Cola with most meals. ...and when in the mood, grab a milkshake (perfect straws)!

Kevin Chun

Interesting upscale diner. Great service. Nice and relaxing atmosphere

Lucia Mattern

The food is great, the service is fantastic, and the sticky toffee is pretty much heavenly perfection

Rhonda Povlot

Love it! We went for Mother's Day! So good!

Greg Cronkhite

Pretty good food, but the smell of fish throughout the restaurant coming from the open kitchen was rather unpleasant the entire time we were there. I believe this is probably a design flaw with their layout. In summary, the food is up to par, service is decent, but the interior design/layout and strong smell of fish throughout the restaurant keep this from being higher rated.

$$+ Typical Buckhead pricing for eats. What was neither typical nor anticipated was the high quality food, the exemplary service of the waitstaff and the atmosphere inside. So, if you are thinking diner when you see the place as your driving around, don't let that stop you from enjoying one of Buckhead's finest eating establishments. I'd have given them 5 stars if but for the whole forced valet parking thing. COVERED parking, yes, in your own parking lot, no. PLEASE LIKE my review if it has been helpful to you. Thanks!

Tommy Warren

Stopped in for brunch on a Sunday around noon. Best omelet I've ever had, and the grits were perfect. Service was excellent - very attentive without being disruptive. Highly recommended, will definitely go back.

Steven Miller

First time here, and very disappointing. my gf and I went to the bar after being told there was a long wait for a table. We were greeted immediately, but it took 10 min to order our drinks and another 15 to get them. There were no menus or drink lists behind the bar. We were told that all the wine glasses were being used when we ordered wine. the bar staff was friendly, but stretched very thin. There was one bartender making all the drinks and one that did nothing but make milkshakes. the one making milkshakes was the easiest to get to, but was nearly useless because he never stepped away from the machine. once we finished our drinks, it took another 10 min to pay our tab. 45 min to order and pay for one drink, all while swatting fruit flies and listening to servers yell out drink orders. I still don't know what food they serve because I was never able to get a menu. Will not be back and do not recommend.

Pete Kane

Took a friend from Buckhead Diner to have lunch. Had wonderful service from Lizy. She was genuine, friendly and helpful. Had a good meal, the patty melt. If I had to say one thing ...I would train the bus server to not visit the table every 5 minutes to remove plates.

Carol Anne Hendrix

Food was ok, service was mediocre and cost high.

Glenn Modig

Great service. Good place for Sunday brunch.

Venesha McDaniel

Great food, great service!

Lyn Kelly

Stopped in for Brunch. It was good! Fun and will go back

Brooklyn Simmons

Mmmm okay seriously come here if you like GOOD food! I got a fish sandwich and it was cooked perfectly. It has a chill atmosphere and throwback style of a retro diner. But the food is anything but ordinary. I wish I had taken a pic of the food because it was so good but maybe I’ll take one when I come back again! You won’t be disappointed

Robert Elferink

Very nice, up-scale diner. Had a great meal, good atmosphere

Lianne Stewart

I hadn't been here for a while and went recently for a work dinner. It was a great spot with lots of options for everyone. I love the old school dinner feel but classy. Everyone in white tuxes. Chrome and red leather. Lots of history. I had the special...ramen! Great broth. Nice skirt steak. Loved the mushrooms! Egg for added creaminess!

Christopher Raynor

Didn't even get in the door. They had 15 parking spaces available for self parking, which were full and about 75 spaces available for valet, that were empty. We just went across the street.

jim gorrell

Great food and service!

Gary Ayer

Excellent service and Management. They go above and beyond to accommodate. Try the lump crab cake! Coming back

Randolph Hall

Great food, not the least expensive but excellent.

Robert Ballew

Food was way overpriced and not very good at all. Had to flag bus boy to refill my tea, unacceptable, my tea glass is directly connected to my wallet. I'll never go back.

WILLIE GAMBLE

Great service and food

lynn sexton

We came in on a Sunday night and it wasn’t very busy. The valet, the hostess and our server were welcoming and friendly. The service was excellent and we had very little wait time before our order came. I was a bit disappointed with the food. Our blue cheese chips were not what I remembered them to be (what happened to the sweet potato chips?!). The blue cheese and sauce were tasty but the chips were stale and not freshly made for the order. The Sunday chicken dinner was small. The cole slaw was literally 3 small bites. The 3 pieces of chicken, breast thigh and leg were well seasoned and fried nicely but the smallest pieces I’ve ever seen. The chicken breast was boneless and I’m guessing it had been cut in half, the creamy mac and cheese was fine but I would not order this dish again. I would have normally given a rating of 2 stars but gave 3 stars because of the excellent service. Maybe it was just an off night.

Michael McClellan Jr

This is one of my buckhead favorites. The fried chicken is wonderful. (Only served on Wednesdays and Sundays.) I can't believe they took the grits (and shrimp and grits off of the menu). :(

Victoria Kingsland

The food was not good at all, we lift most of the food on our plate, only the whipped potatoes were edible. The wine was not fresh tasting, especially for a nice French white wine. I left it too. The staff did not say a word just cleared the table and took their 20% tip. It was so noisy, you could not hear a word. This is no longer a good restaurant. I will not return nor recommend it. The parking attendant slammed the door on my leg as I was getting in the car. This should not be a part of the Buckhead group. It is passé.

Pure Bliss

Food was good. Table was full of crumbs and they had an attitude when I asked for it to wiped. Salt shaker had someone else's dried mashed potatoes on top.

Ron Jones

Very nice! It was date night for me and my bride. The Buckhead Diner was just right.

Shannon McDonough

Great food, tremendous service and the milkshakes are to die for!

Bob Nahrstadt

One of our fav ATL places. The service, food and ambiance are fabulous. White table cloth on the tables, well dressed and courteous servers, and great food at reasonable prices. Highly recommend.

Kahlil Alves

Great place to stop and eat. A lot of great actors and athletes have walked these Halls. The menu is a tad bit on the high side but worth every bite. With all these good reviews it should get five stars, right? I cannot give a full five stars only because waiting for checks at the end of service took extremely long. I had a Bus full of seniors who had to wait patiently on the bus and some who were still sitting at their tables waiting on checks. It could have just been the time of day but for a group that large we should have had more than one person helping on that side of the business. Aside from that I would recommend this place as something to check out.

Trip Copeland

Classic Buckhead restaurant. Always a great place to get a bite.

Ryan Kantor

Waited 30 minutes despite a reservation (admittedly we were there super early). The alcoholic milkshake was basically all rum. We couldn’t finish them and drive home. They forgot to bring us the bread as an app. Got the spaghetti and veal meatballs. It was decent.

Jonny Edward

Nice place to grab a bite to eat. Nostalgic atmosphere, stellar service, and seriously tasty food, if not a tad salty and rich. The desserts looked amazing but gult kept me from going that route! Ha! Overall, it was kind of like stepping back in time, in a good, fun way. Definitely worth checking out, if you're in the vicinity of Buckhead.

Vicki Smith-Jones

This is not your typical diner. It is a must go! The food was outstanding. Fish on ratatouille in photo.

Stan Mitchell

Consistently excellent food and service!

Rosalyn Mccoy

Never been to a upscale diner restaurant before I am glad I gave this place a try. Service was very very good my food was excellent, banana cream pie pastrami sandwich and fries. And for the appetizers fresh cut potatoes chips with blue cheese sauce.

Leland Brand

Very classy place with superb service and absolutely perfectly cooked everything. I loved everything about my experience there.

John Bumgardner

Awesome service! Good food too.

Tracey Ford

Great food and service

Caroline A. Mendez

As always. First class all the way. Blue cheese chips are amazing!

Tommy Young

The new fried chicken was delicious. I've been coming here since they first opened, I brought my grandchildren here for their first time and they loved it. Good memories at the Buckhead Diner.

La'Rea Woodruff

The locals love this spot it's a gem to a lot of people, I wanted to be one of those people. I visited this restaurant with a dear friend because we heard about the amazing food. The staff was very nice and inviting truly. We got seated and we noticed a strong smell, so we asked if we could be moved to the opposite end of the restaurant and we did. The problem was the overall odor inside the eatery it was overwhelming from all locations but the front door. The fishy odor was so grossly unappetizing we could not eat nor drink our tasty cocktails. Our waiter said the odor would subside but unfortunately for us it did not. We had a lovely waiter he did apologies for the smell. Like we said it wasn't his doing. I might return to this location later in the weeks to give it another try, hopefully that odor issue will be resolved.

Vanessa Benitez

Read the reviews and decided to stop here with my daughter and eat like a local. The service from the moment we drove onto the property was exceptional and the ambiance and decor inside was classy and inviting. Unfortunately, the food was just okay and not great. It could be what we ordered, but my Corned Beef and Potato Hash had a significant amount of liquid or water on the plate ( I am thinking perhaps from.the poached eggs) and the peppers and onions in the hash were very undercooked and crunchy. I ended up using another plate to pour the liquid off onto and in the end just couldn't eat my dish. My daughter ate her breakfast but she had the same opinion- okay, not great. I would be willing to perhaps try this place again next time we were in town but with so many other great establishments around Atlanta to explore it seems unlikely I will. We shall see. The service may bring me back.

Chad Gonzalez

Food (salmon) was delicious. Server was prompt. Host was friendly. Prices great. Atmosphere perfect for a business lunch. Highly reccomended. Not your traditional diner, check it out!

Ryan Ellis

Veal meatloaf is better than your mom's meatloaf. Guaranteed. Take that to the bank and cash it.

Carter Stanley

Had the shrimp and grits. It was excellent. Would recommend. Glassware and silverware a bit grungy. Service was good no complaints. A little pricey for what it is but nothing you don't know already before going in. The only real complaint is the forced valet parking when the parking lot is literally steps away from the front door. Seems unnecessary for a casual restaurant.

Rebecca Brannon

A local took me (an out-of-town visitor) here, and what a great choice it was! The menu had great variety, from comfort food to unique cuisine. Delicious main course and dessert. Service was superb. Prices push the envelope, but not obscenely so. Look at my other reviews to see that I don't easily impress like this.

Yuck

Tasty food across the board. Server was very nice and we didn't have to wait for a table. The aesthetic has a very retro vibe that brings some charm to it all. I'd go back for sure. Only lose a star because there was a relatively long wait and I can find similar food in the area for cheaper.

Rebecca Hamer

This is what you should call a "finer diner". It looks glitz on the outside and inside is classic early 20th century. I had a chef special, veal meatballs and spaghetti with a glass of cool wine. Exactly what I needed. Friendly service and an obvious family favourite. A bit out of the centre, but my recommend for anyone visiting Atlanta.

Whit Breeze

Great atmosphere, casual but really good food. Had coffee and pepper crusted pork - good dish.

Shelley Dayton

Great food and even better service. Priority seating also worked great. Everyone had a great time. Thank you

Lyme70

Buckhead fare, portions, and pricing. Yep! That about sums it up. All of these types of diners, scattered all over metro Atlanta, serve variations of the same type of fare, some better than others, and some menues with tweaks or added dishes here and there, all ranging from decent to very good. All of them serve breakfast all day. All of what I've just described is standard across these diners That is, of course, except Buckhead. The only thing about the Buckhead location that remotely resembles the others is the building, motif, and furnishings. That's where it ends. And they do not serve breakfast all day. We actually ended up leaving and going to Landmark Diner, spending 30 - 40 percent less for excellent fare and a equally nice casual dining experience.

Gregory Gimpelevich

Buckhead mainstay but the food is just average. A little overpriced but only because of location. I would prefer marietta diner.

Bart Rogers

Surprised in what you get in a diner. The decor is amazing. A bit pricey. Professional staff. The flat chicken salad dish was so tastey!

Monica Johnson

The food is good but the bakery and cafe are better. Really enjoy the carrot cake. All the fresh baked bread options are really awesome.

Jill Knight

Excellent choices, huge menu, was surprised at how well the server knew the extensive menu, food quality was excellent, will be back.

Tom McManus

Always great service and even better food. Will always come here when in the area. Calamari in sweet thai sauce is perfectly wonderful.

michael nason

Great food, atmosphere and staff

Brooks Ray

Love it here every time

Jeffrey Oliver

Ok for a quick bite

Markeshia Hill

The food arrived quickly. It looked awesome but it tasted very plain. The crab cakes, the cod, and patty melt was not very tasty. The waitress kept walking by us and talked very fast when speaking to us. I'm guessing they was short staffed. This was not a good "Buckhead" experience on a Friday night. I'm not sure where these other reviews came from but it was definitely not worth the cost. We left there aggravated and not pleased.

Margaret Grenleski

Delicious lunch. Great service. Definitely recommend.

Tim Harris

The service was good and the food was high-end diner favorites! The fried chicken special and coffee rubbed bone-in pork chop were juicy and well seasoned. The cocktails were also well balanced, but a touch over priced at $11 each. Overall it was a very good experience.

Alexander Turnbull

Without a doubt some of the best food and service I have EVER experienced at a restaurant. A minor error in my order resulted in them covering the cost of my entire bill, and serving the correct item promptly. If you’re looking for delicious meal options, a great atmosphere and superb service; look no further.

Richard Strada

Great staff with nice food choices.

Pamela Merrill

Great food and service, it's best to go by 6pm so you don't end up waiting for a table.

Valerie England

Service was excellent and the food was great especially a pecan crusted trout garlic mashed potatoes and string beans! Wow

Lee

Good atmosphere, good food. Service was spotty though. Waiter was probably waiting for the Friday rush as we were there early. Still, I prefer wait staff look me in the eyes when at the table, not keep glancing around.

Andrew Faraca

Okay, I know you are thinking it says Diner, but this is not like the other diners scattered around Greater Atlanta. Don't be mistaken... I love those places as well, but this is a great establishment with good food and awesome service. Is it pricey ... yeah... ; Is it worth it... yeah; will you want to come back... I am most sure of it. I suggest making a reservation and they also have valet parking. They have a few things they are famous for, and I am not one to tell someone what to order, but I will say that the shrimp spring rolls are really good, as well as the calamari and the blue cheese covered potato chips. I had the Chilean Sea Bass which was served similarly to their sister restaurant (Atlanta Fish Market) and it was super tasty. My brother ordered 2 deserts ... yeah I said 2! He shared though and the Banana Cream Pie was d*#*@! good.

Mike Towson

Great diner for Sunday brunch! I really enjoy coming to this place!

Mik Chita

Great place... MAKE RESERVATIONS!!! It's very popular and you can certainly reduce your wait time... A side note: valet parking is the best way to go, so be sure to clean your car. We couldn't help but be a tad embarrassed as we handed our keys over knowing how messy our car was

Tom George

Excellent service! Food was good as well. Order the pastrami sandwich and easily the best pastrami I have had in Atlanta. Interior has that classic diner feel.

Ice Man

I'm not sure if it was because I had just flown in from Canada going 36 hours with no sleep but...when I sunk my teeth into that medium rare "Salute to the South" burger...no joke tears of joy formed in my eyes. The burger was so incredibly rich with juice and flavor melting around my taste buds reminding me that everything is going to be alright. The deep fried cheese balanced out this incredibly rich and soft burger with a crisp sharp strong taste. Every bite for was an experience and to be honest in was sad when the incredible taste rollercoaster came to an end. Thank you for this wonderful moment.

Elaine Griswell

Good food! Friendly service!

Steven Weidler

Good food, good service, I'd go again but it was nothing to rave about in my opinion.

rashid karaa

Good food, great service. Always a nice treat, reasonably priced and a fun atmosphere.

Candace Atkins

I have a gluten allergy and it is very difficult to eat here. They mark the gluten free foods but it's basically salad. They will not modify a dish at all. I don't have any issues with other diners in the area.

McKenzie Driscoll

Love it here! I recommend to everybody. Such good food, professional uniforms for servers, and classic atmosphere with the buckhead touch :)

William O

Outstanding. Best ever. Go there and be amazed. The staff are really incredible. Food is top notch too.

Michael Chen

Could be considered by someone to be a great upscale diner experience if you've never experienced either upscale or diner experiences before. Parking - While there is an abundance of parking spaces available, the restaurant sets maybe 80% of their spaces as valet only. Which is fine, except that other diners will then end up parking in spaces where they shouldn't park, making maneuvering out of the lot more difficult than it should be. Also, the valet drivers can and will do some impressive things with your vehicles, like backing up at 15 - 20 mph around a bend to get into a spot. It look like it was very fun to pull off. But maybe do it with your own car? Reservation - Not sure if this is always the case, we came at a busy night. But we came 10 minutes before our reserved time and had to wait until 10 minutes after to get a seat. Makes the point of a reservation moot. Food - The cocktails taste watered down, in the same way that a sweet tea tastes watered down if you let it sit for an hour. You get a 6oz drink with about 1oz of liquor. I had the pork chop with the coffee rub, while the size of the chop was significant, the flavors were lacking. The outside was way too salty and the inside was flavorless and dry. My girlfriend had the vegetable plate and it neither looked appealing nor tasted delicious. It felt like a microwaved "Bird's Eye" meal with slightly fancier veggies. Atmosphere - The diner looks like a diner. It can be loud and you might have to struggle to hear one another. Great for a regular diner, less so if you're a diner that charges like a steakhouse. Service - The one redeeming factor, our waitress always made sure we had what we needed and got our food on time.
