This was the 1st time ever I didn't leave a tip! Our service was none existent. I actually got up and got my own soda refills for myself and my daughters. Then I had to get the sweet n low for my girlfriend. The spaghetti sauce was bitter. Tasted like a can of tomato paste. We went with 9 of us total they took forever to get our food out and then when they did it was wrong. They took our drinks off the bill but that's it. Will never go back and I wont recomend it to anyone. Stay clear!

I went there yesterday day ant the table next to me had an awfull time. I also had an awfull experience we had a waiter that took our order and brought it very late. At the table next to us the same waiter took there order and brought the auntray before the appetizer. They told us that he said "that's how the kitchen does it" What does that mean!? What kitchen does that? Overall I think that it was horrible service but they turned it around when they gave the section a whole new waiter and the food was ok.

Have not been in this chain in over 12 years and they still offer the same quality and family friendly, cozy and warm Italian food. Really good service trying to fix some issues caused by the kitchen and lack of staff, our waiter went above and beyond to come back from those issues. We will definitely come back with the family.

We weren't impressed by this place. After hearing great reviews and seeing yummy pics, we decided to try it out. The food portions were decent, we fed two of us for $30 after discounts - $65 before the discounts. We finished a small pizza, small chicken parm, and brownie sundae in one sitting, no leftovers (granted both of us have huge appetites). The service was what turned us off to this restaurant and is why we likely won't be back. During a non-rush hour, refills took asking two times, waiting 15 mins, and then just getting up and going to the bar to refill them ourselves. Waiter had a headphone in while waiting on tables. Food came out at a reasonable time, and our server was very friendly, he just seemed very apathetic with the job he was doing. The food tasted the same as Olive Garden and there you get unlimited soup and salad for cheaper.

Horrible experience. Bad service, average food quality, had to refill our own drinks and bread, had to find someone to locate our waiter. Orders were wrong and not corrected until we were ready to leave. The final insult was getting handed a bill with items we did not order and being told that we would have them comped to help make up for the bad. We were a party of 9 with 1 waiter that we had to find to get service. The table next to us was a party of 12 with 2 waiters that came by every 3-5 minutes. Even after talking to the manager it didn’t get any better. Best to avoid it and just go to Olive Garden.

I made a reservation for 2:30 p.m. for Sunday on Saturday and on Sunday when I got there they told me I had to wait an hour. I pretty much made a reservation to wait. The manager was not helpful at all.

If you have never been to other locations you may feel the food is EXCELLENT here, however I can tell you from experiencing other locations ( one of them for our wedding reception ) this location was only OK Antipasti salad usually has so much meat on it we barely had room for the entree, this time I found 1 small piece of pepperoni maybe 3 green olives Nd barely and salami ! We literally got the menu to see if they changed the salad

Overall below mediocre food quality. I don't know if it is done on purpose or not, but the atmosfere is near ridiculous and kind of making fun of Italian's culture. The food is far from being authentic Italian food. Italian food is made of simple and delicate flavors cooked to perfection. What we had last night was a bunch of overcooked pasta covered by cheese and no flavors what's so ever. What else, the restaurant smelled very stale and dirty. When your enter in a real Italian restaurant you experience an explosion of smells: freshly baked bread, cooking tomatoe sauce, grilling meats.

My family and I visited buca last night for the first time. We had an amazing time it was my sons birthday and they made him feel so special by singing this cute little song to him. He will remember this for years to come. I definitely recommend this place for any celebration .

From the moment we walked in we were greeted with smiles. It was our first time there and we were given a brief tour by I think one of the managers which was a nice touch. The food was really good and the family size portions were perfect for our family. Our server explained everything and answered all questions with a great attitude. Great experience. Will definitely be back!

Let's see we will start with the meatball pasta sauce tasted like a can of crushed tomatoes poured over a hamburger rolled into a ball and put onto a pile of noodles. I got chicken pasta and how hard is it to grill a piece of chicken? the chicken was frozen pre sliced chicken, for the price one would expect fresh chicken, they really need to change who they get their frozen chicken from, I have had some that are good, but this was rubbery and tough, I ended up picking out the chicken and eating the pasta and sauce. If there was one positive thing I could say is I changed the regular sauce to alfredo sauce and I think that was a good choice, spicy but good, it was suppose to be spicy. Staff seemed very new, friendly but new. At 1 PM in the afternoon we almost did not even go in thinking that they might be closed because there was nobody in the parking lot, that should have been a sign.

Food is good but service was horrible... The salad was okay but had very few olives it cucumbers and too much lettuce for an antipasto salad. The chicken carbonara had great flavor but the presentation of the dish was subpar. The complementary bread was good but the oil and vinegar based dip was just oil and vinegar there were no herbs at all. We also ordered dessert as this is a birthday tradition the collosol brownie and we got the big glass with ice cream but the Brownies, which are supposed to be several large Brownies, were tiny pieces of brownies that may have been two brownies worth. All of this was the good part of dinner cause the service was beyond bad. Waited 15 minutes to get our waiter to the table to get drinks or even greet us. So we ordered drinks and dinner and when the food came out we had to ask for plates. When drinks started to run out we had to asked for refills which we never got after we asked multiple times. However we did get the desserts we ordered but again had to ask for clean plates and silverware which was hot. And with the desserts they were supposed to sing the Buca song but we had to ask for that as well. So we sat there, because the song and dessert are part of our birthday tradition, with melting ice cream at the table for almost 10 minutes before our waiter came back with just the candle, no sign or hat, and said he had to go find someone to sing with him and left again before we were able to sing. But with all these little things I think the worst was the coffee that we ordered and was so bitter and burnt that it couldn't have been served at a truck stop or on the mess deck of a ship. And when we asked when it was made he said this morning, which would be a minimum of 8 hours ago at this point. I have been to several Buca do Beppo locations and have never had bad service. If you can't refill drinks, make fresh coffee, bus tables, prebus tables, or get the bill right in the end then don't be a server. I will never be going back to this location.

My family's dining experience at Buca di Beppo was exceeded by the excellent dining service I received from Honore Brewer! Honore made our dining experience 1st class from the time we walked in to the time we departed his service was on. Ritz Carlton level! His friendly personality enhanced the delicious food prepared by Chef Dean! Honore should be promoted to a management position with Buca di Beppo ASAP!!! Also, Sandy and Eryn were friendly and courteous too! I definitely recommend Buca di Beppo for a wonderful Italian dining experience!!

I gave two stars only because I loved the theme and the hostess was very nice. However I got the shrimp Florentine which was very dry, my daughter got spaghetti and meatballs with an extreme amount of spaghetti sauce. Our waitress was not very friendly, she served a table that came in after us Before Us. We did not get bread with oil right away. She also dismissed the table beside us very politely, smiling Asking them to return and even wished the birthday girl a happy birthday. However it was my birthday too but she did not give myself my daughter and my mom the same treatment. She didn’t even come back to the table at the end, she just gave the receipt and I never seen her after, I left the money on the table. I also had birthday coupons and a free Sundae, this was the best part of my visit. Overall I was not happy with my experience, will not be returning.

I recently went here for a work dinner- the food was cold and under cooked. We were a large group of 20 people and they only had one waiter assigned to us. Keep in mind we called and made reservations a week before. It took 3.5 hours to eat on a pre selected menu. I ordered water and never got a refill. It’s sad this place used to be great but aren’t staffed appropriately and the food was disappointing.

Our waiter, Tyler was the best! The unique atmosphere and artwork is one of a kind. We were at first taken back by the fact that the smallest portion is for 3 people...but Tyler walked us thru the menu and helped us order the perfect meal! This would be a great place for large family get togethers (not so great for parties of 2 unless you want a LOT of left overs) - food was fabulous - best Chicken Parmesan for sure!! Will be bringing the family back here! They need to be playing more authentic music to truly feel like you are at your Italian grandmothers house.... I was yearning for some Frank Sinatra ... lol

Great Italian food with huge portions. Only downside is the cost but you usually will get at least two meals out of it. The meatballs are not to be missed. The salad and garlic bread are also tasty as well.

Walls are covered in tons of pictures & interesting stuff. Food is great. Be aware each dish is ordered share among 3 (small) or 5 (large) people to share family style, so bring a decent size group if you want to order a variety of dishes, or be prepared to have leftovers for days (which is not a bad thing either ;-)

Seated over an hour after our reservation and not in the Pope room that we reserved. We were not given good advice about ordering family style which resulted in way too much food - even for the 11 of us big eaters. The chicken dishes were good but not great. We spent $30 on garlic bread because they did not bring out their house bread so we didn't know it came with house bread. However the Gorgonzola salad was fantastic. I'll go back and order it to go. Follow up review. After reading my review, i was contacted by the South East regional manager. He took full responsibility for the problems we had and asked us to visit again (on their dime). Great customer service. I'll update after we get a chance to try them again.

Speechless. That is the only word I can use to describe the service I received tonight. When me and my family walked in and sat down Honore was there ready to serve us in under 45 seconds. He was super sweet, charismatic, and knowledgeable about everything we had questions about. We asked for suggestions and he truly listened to us and talked our way through the whole thing. He was nothing but kind and speedy with service. I have never had better quality service than dining here. This was our first time here but due to the service it sure will not be our last!! Ok. First of all, i love italian food. But this place isn't the place to go. Not because of the food, no. Because the building is not being taken care of. My sister worked there and she said it was horrible. The management was messed up. They didn't take good care of their customers and the building. One day, it was quiet so my sister decided to clean. She asked when the last time it was even touched. They said, "not since the opening?" Which is 17 years ago. They didnt even know. The kitchen had giant puddles that were very easily to slip on the tile. At one point they had mold in the ceilings in a room. They're just there to get money. The air conditioning was broken for about a week. The problems go on. One customer came in and complained as when she sat down, there was a open faced staple on the seat. She scratched her leg. What did they do? "Ok." Then walked away. I went once. My sister had to work there. My sister hated it. There was too much drama with the staff and too many problems with the building. Their food... Its okay. Not the very best but it is decent. Not for the money i dont think so. DONT GO ALONE they have big meals that you're supposed to share with like 6 people.

Having eaten at a Buca back home in Tampa years ago, I remembered neither my wife or I being impressed enough to go back. Oddly though I did not remember many details about why. So, when I received a $20 off coupon in the mail for my birthday, I figured what the heck let's give Buca another try. My memory was correct. The staff was very friendly and the hostess very accommodating but the overall dining experience was an over-priced bulk-buy; the Sam's Club or Costco of Italian dining if you will. Our Caesar salad was good and the Italian bread hot and fresh but the chicken parmesan was tough. Entrees are served by themselves and it seems any accompanying pasta was an additional bulk-buy. Additionally the menu showed the small portion served three but in reality it essentially serves two, making it feel all the more overpriced. Not bad but not exactly good, we came away with a solid meh with regard to the food. Given the number of Italian restaurants in the area, the whole bulk-buy thing is a bit hard to swallow, add in that the food is unmemorable and you have a recipe for empty tables.

My family and I have been coming to Buca for a long time now, and we just can’t seem to leave! The hosts are extremely friendly and even on a busy night, made sure we had a nice spot to sit with a little wait time!! Don’t even get me started on management. Sabrina(May have gotten the name wrong excuse me) was so kind and helpful towards us and our needs. We understand that on busy nights, sometimes restaurants are a little slow in seating and/or geeeting guests but Buca sure did make sure our visit was yet another great one! Will be coming back soon.

If you plan on going alone be prepared to pay for family style price min $30 for 3 I don't know why we have to get one dish for 3 or more. Second you have to pay extra for soup or sides. The chicken marsala was like a dessert horrible flavor sweet as hell. Comon learn the correct way of cooking this dish no place in italy has sweet entrées. Ambience is great but menu prices are way high if you go alone.

I mainly try to stick to a plant based diet and avoid processed foods including gluten. The waiter offered to get me the vegetarian menu-- but came back saying that they only have one, and he did not know where it was. I said that perhaps it's a sign they may need more. Anyway, the wait for our food was a lot longer than a half of an hour- which could be expected, however it's disappointing when the food doesn't come out as hot as it should. (Which is the case.) Between my friend and I, we had the Brussel sprouts (which I would highly recommend), the mashed potatoes and the appetizer trio- shrimp, cheese triangles and I forgot what the 3rd was, and an order of calamari. The calamari had no crunch, so if you want it crispy- I would recommend instructing for it to be. Overall it's a super fun and family friendly place to dine... it's pretty spendy at about $25 a person for what we got with minimal leftovers. But, I am sure that price is a lot more feasible with other menu options.

Showed up at 1pm, we waiting about 30 minutes and no one had shown up to take our drink orders. I’d like to say they were just busy but they weren’t. Less than 10 cars in the parking lot, only three other parties visible from our table. I was busy with my son, taking him to wash his hands and making a trip out to the car so I hadn’t really realized the time. My wife who had stayed seated at the table was acutely aware of the time she had spent sitting there without a drink order. The table behind us was cleared by one gentleman, then set by a young lady. That’s when I asked if anyone was assigned to our table. Turns out the waitress who had our table wasn’t busy, she just wasn’t aware we were in her area. So we eventually got our drink order in, the waitress couldn’t remember what my son had gotten, but when she brought my wife and I her drinks she double checked rather than bringing the wrong drink, at least. We were then brought bread, but when we visited other locations the bread came with some olive oil mixture to dip it in or something of the sort which my wife enjoys. This location didn’t feel the need to provide that, or doesn’t offer that. Beyond that the food was good, which is to be expected from visits to other locations. Unfortunately my wife had ordered sausage with peppers and for whatever reason was brought sausage without peppers. All in all poor experience for service.

Ate here the other day. Mediocre food for a fine dining price. Server was nice and good with service but after I ate I encountered the store manager Jay. I don’t know how he keeps this restaurant afloat with his attitude. When I told him some of my issues I had he responded with an ok with attitude and also said “what do you want me to do about it?” He could also be heard around the corner calling me annoying and that “he doesn’t care about anyone’s feelings” I asked to speak to his manager and he told me that no one was above him and that he in fact was the store manager. Listen to me loud and clear, I WILL NOT return here. First, I have had a two month expired TV dinner that was more flavorful than the Alfredo. I think the grape medicine I took when I was younger was better tasting than anything Buca di Beppo has to offer. I would not feed this stuff to a rabid dog if it was going to save my life the food is that terrible. And I would have tried the food again to give it a chance. The real reason I will not be returning is because of that manager. Is this company in favor of bullying patrons and being rude? Is this in their training? If I wanted to be bullied and berated I would have gone to my husband’s parents’ house. This is beyond frustrating!! How can a manager who wants to pull in business act like this?? If your food can’t keep customers, your service is supposed to. The server was great! She did amazing and had some cool pink hair (I forgot her name) Overall it was just a poor experience and would not recommend it to even the worst of people, including my in-laws.

Don't book a table online! I've booked a table through their official website for lunch during the mothers day and got an email confirmation, confirmation number and everything was set, but when I arrived with my family they just told me that they would not be able to have a table for us, because their website doesn't work properly and I've should contact corporate. This shows a totally lack of respect with a customer asking me to leave the restaurant. Of course I'll never try to return to this place, because I don't want to spend my money in a place that doesn't care about the customers.

Oh man. Page marker. I have some thoughts on this whole "family dining" concept and sharing and portions. So much so that I plan to cook a side-by-side meal. Let me just say this: 3 x 6oz chicken breasts as a foundation of a three-person, shareable Saltimbocca really isn't shareable unless it's an appetizer. And $21 for a box of pasta with sauce (for 3, of course)... I want to post pics of how "family portions" are as I see them. Take your $ elsewhere. A lotta money for a meal that did not shine (tough, tough chicken) and don't expect to go back in for seconds on protein. Mom and son fought over my leftovers. Non-existent. (Update: In fairness, while it was expensive, my son dug the leftover pasta. One night in the fridge (which tends to happen with Italian leftovers) and he said it was "smashing"). Not sure about $21 smashing but it's important to be even handed with things when they present). (Update 2: Moving this to a three star just based on customer service. I was contacted by their corporate offices and we had a nice discussion on our visit. They called me a couple of times before I was able to get back to them so I admire the persistence and they seemed genuinely interested in what I had to say and apologized for any shortcomings. That's pretty admirable). I'm cooking family style Chicken Piccata which isn't on their menu but will post a pic to demonstrate what I think of when I think of "family portions". :) FINAL EDIT: See attached photo of my cooking. Five breasts @ $8.99 (24oz), artichokes ($1.99), mushrooms ($1.50) some chicken broth and THERE'S what you call "family" portions.

Pretty good Italian food served family style, which means that each meal serves about 3 people. The downside is that if you want pasta noodles with a dish that not inherently noodle based, you have to order a whole separate noodle based meal. Same thing if you want a salad with your meal. For the kids menu, they serve individual kid sized portions - go figure.

$hith@le of a restaurant, place is filthy torn and ripped upholstery had staples sticking out and cut my wife's legs and drew blood! Now we're afraid she will get blood borne illness! Pre-made frozen food, reheated and served like hog slop. "Manager" Jay Goodman, if that's really his name is a sorry excuse for an employee in a customer service role. Completely rude and unprofessional, literally asked us "well what do you want me to do about it?" When we brought the problem to attention and refused to give us management contact info. We've been going here for close to 10 years and this last visit is really starting to go downhill. Never again.

Went to Buca’s at around 7:30 on a Thursday and was kept waiting for around 30 minutes. When we were finally seated, there was at least a 10 minute wait until our server came and greeted us. We could tell they were understaffed as the server said she already had an 18 person table. After ordering our meal (there was 13 of us) the food took at least 45 minutes to come. The server said she’d come back to take our drink orders, but took at least 20 minutes after taking our meal orders. The only reason I’m giving a high review is that the food was decent for the price.

Came here for a customer meeting again. Service and food was outstanding. Shane was fantastic again. We had him as a server last time. Love coming here. Shane made sure our drinks were always full and made sure the food came out right. I thank the chefs and Shane for this great experience . We will have every Phoenix customer dinner here for as long as I’m in charge of booking them. 100% A+.

Celebrated my husbands birthday tonight and we had a great time! The Prosciutto stuffed chicken and the pizza's are fantastic, not to mention the service and manager were great too. Definitely recommend.

I have been to Buca Do Bello Italian before a few times. I like their large family portion sides better than the small family portion side as shown in the picture below. The small size I wish was little more less. The small size I paid for was $35 and suppose to feed up to three people but it's more like two people.

We were there last week with a $20 off coupon. We did not realize we had to order entrées for three. Apparently, there was no option to get a serving for one person. My boyfriend and I were on a date with his teenage son. None of us wanted the same thing. The food was really horrible. It is as though they ran out of seasoning. None of us liked our food. Mine was eggplant Parmesan it was crispy around the edges and cold in the middle. Teenager got manicotti and said it tasted like a dirty Band-Aid. Not sure how he knows! My boyfriend got meatballs and it was just plain hamburger. The servers were wonderful but the food was just really nasty. Even with the $20 off coupon it was very expensive because each one of us got our own. We brought the leftovers home trying to fix them up by adding garlic etc. I’m not sure what’s going on but this restaurant won’t be open much longer if they keep this up.
