Very nice restaurant. Staff was very tentative and always available when we had any questions. My steak was a little on the salty side but it actually tasted better as leftovers the next day. The rest of my sides were great.

This is one of my favorite celebration spots.I was here for a Born day celebration. They gave me bones sauce for dipping and it was amazing. Onion rings were $10 and were well worth it. Best time to go is Friday or Saturday night, because of the great energy in there. You will have 2 waiters, usually a veteran and someone 1-3 years old. The stars on their uniforms indicate years there x 5.Valet is on the side of building. Make reservations.Sometime you may need for the bartender to make your adult beverage a bit stronger. The restrooms are very clean and welcoming.

We had the best service, our servers Jonathan and Lane were the best, their dedication goes far, they presented the food with all their dedication of what great service is. Coming from Orlando now living in Atlanta and working for Disney, I got to tell you this is great service and what I was used to live day by day. The food was perfect seasoned, the salads was delicious, the steak was super good, crab salad, dessert, etc. Is our second time and we will be back.

Went for a business dinner and was turned away for two of the people in my party were wearing non collared t-shirts. Though there were other guests wearing t-shirts who we're seated and eating. When we asked what the difference was we were told only that we couldn't be seated. I will gladly spend my money elsewhere.

great place for food and drinks. Steak lovers in particular. The restaurant has an interesting way to let customer knows how long the waiters been with them, for every 5 years of service, they have a star on their shirt. The 2 serving us drinks and food are both 5 Stars " Generals ". they love their job and share good jokes with their customers. Love this place. One of Atlanta's oldest steakhouse has continued to be a mainstay for corporate events, special occasions, or just when you are craving a really good steak. Staff is professional and bartenders and friendly. They have signature dishes with a classic style.

Wow! I've been to some of the top steak houses in the country because of my work. Including but not limited to, New York, Chicago, Florida, Utah, Seattle, Portland, San Diego, Phoenix, Dallas, Austin, Houston, Las Vegas, and Denver. I would put Bones easily in the top 5, and I'm a harder-to-please critic when it comes to high end restaurants (due to the cost). While the food is EXCELLENT, when combined with their service, it's what makes this a hands down winner for Atlanta. All the staff from the front to back kitchen that were top grade and true professionals (especially given that it was my 40th birthday, and they went out of their way to make it a special night). Bravo Bones restaurant and its management team to create such a finely tuned restaurant and experience.

The steak was ok, but the taste of the salmon was impressive. Unfortunately I can't say the same for the thin portion of salmon. The atmosphere was elegant and the restaurant is in a nice Buckhead location with valet parking.

I came here recently with my wife to celebrate our Wedding anniversary and honestly I was very disappointed. I had the bone in filet and it was more chewy than I would have expected for this type of cut and considering their reputation nowhere near top steaks I have ever had (Not even top 10). My wife got the french onion soup and it was unbearably salty (Which they reimbursed us for after we told them). We got a few sides (Corn pudding, Mashed potatoes, & hash browns) which are served family style, and they were very good, but when you pay $150 for a meal for two people and end up with a sub par steak, terrible soup, and good sides it is certainly not worth it. The servers were all great and the restaurant had a good vibe, but that cant make up for the disappointing food at high prices.

One of the few restaurants that lives up to the great reviews! This is an old school classic steakhouse that rivals any steakhouse in the country! The steaks were cooked perfectly and the sides were good. The highlight for me (because I have 8 sweet teeth) was the Mountain High Pie which is the best ice cream cake you will ever have! OMG!! If you have a $200-$300 to burn (depending on your wine choice), burn it here! You will not be disappointed!

I come here every year when I am in Atlanta, each year it seems to get better. The service is amazing. My waiter Jonathan went out of his way to make sure everything was amazing. He was great. Anything we asked for came out immediately. I got the 20oz bone in ribeye , perfectly cooked and just amazing. I highly recommend this place.

Bones is always a favorite. The cork fee for bringing your own wine is very fair. The food, is ridiculously great. The hash brown with sour cream on top is just that, over the top. Steaks are incredible and the famous lobster bisk has been served for 40 years with the exact same recipe. You better try it. Have had the pleasure of dining here several times, and it’s always a wonderful experience.

Freaked her out when they referenced her good choices as they make notes in your file for the next time you come in. Crab bisque and lamb chops for me were perfect. Bones was referred to us as the best steakhouse in Atlanta. It was definitely fantastic! We came in from the airport, and made a last minute reservation. They were very accommodating. I would strongly recommend making reservations to ensure you get a table. They do have a wait list for the bar seating and you do get access to the full menu. The service was spectacular, the waiter enjoyed the questions and was very personable. The lobster bisque was amazing. The main courses were very good. The family style choice of sides was great and they had a large selection of options. While we were waiting for our main course, we kept seeing very large pieces of pie going to other tables. It was the Mountain High Pie - Bones tradition. We had to try it. That topped the meal off! You must try it!

This is one of the best places to dine in the city. The scotch smoked salmon was the perfect dish to start off our dining experience. The mixed grill platter consisting of lamb chops, filet mignon and pheasant sausage really hit the spot for me. The garlic broccoli, truffle mashed potatoes and mac and cheese with bacon served as the perfect side dishes. We kind of underestimated what the serving size of the mountain high pie would be, although the word "mountain" should've been a tip-off. Overall, we were very satisfied with not only the food, but the service as well.

I loooooove the secluded area (near the brick walls and wine). Very friendly staff (including the valet). Ryan was my server, I recommend him. The filet mignon, tasty. The mushrooms are amazing! The shrimp is Devine. The lobster Mac and cheese isn't so great (I prefer wet Mac & cheese). Their Pinot noir list is very small. (Unless you get the bottle which is what we ended up doing). Otherwise, everything else was perfect.

Excellent service & fantastic staff. The menu is rather short but won’t disappoint. The food is made with quality ingredients and probably lots of passion. If, by a slight chance, your dish is not meeting your expectations they will make sure something else would. Ideal for a casual business lunch or a formal dinner. Do try the bisque and don’t be shy to ask for more bread (it’s almost my best reason to visit. I even have gotten some to go and bake at home. They’re closed on Sundays

This restaurant is really unique but the my first impression was not good. It took us about 1/2 hour to sit, which isn't too bad since my coworker I did not have reservations. Once seated the staff was pleasant but our order had been lost. After 1.5 hours of sitting we finally received our meals and both steaks were undercooked which had to be returned. Nothing more than apology for a meal that was more than $200.

First class restaurant in the heart of Buckhead on Piedmont. Make sure you make a Reservation a couple of days in advance if you are planning on going on the weekend. We arrived about 45 minutes early and sat right outside the bar area. The service was impressive. We were taking care of by Ken and several of his coworkers. The food was outstanding. I ordered the Red Snapper with a side of Grilled Shrimp. My wife ordered NY Strip Steak with a baked potato. For my daughter the Chef created a Fried Shrimp and French Fries platter. A great experience.

Spouse and I went to Bones on our anniversary. It was a full house but we were seated within 5 minutes of our reservation. Service was very good with 3 different employees congratulating us on our anniversary. Lobster bisque was tasty as was the avocado salad. The veal rib chop was very good. Although the dry aged bone-In Rib Eye (20 oz) was fine, the cut had a fair amount of gristle, certainly more than what I would expected from a high end steak house. If it is a steak you want, there are better options in Atlanta.

You won’t go wrong with any cut of steak you choose, and the garlic mashed potatoes are a real standout. The expert waitstaff pace the meal exactly as you desire - my wife and I never felt rushed or neglected. Bones is the perfect steakhouse for any occasion, or none at all.

Waited for over 15 minutes at the bar for someone to take my order for dinner. Wanted to see just how long it actually took before being served. After letting the bartender know that I had been waiting for over 15 minutes he proceeded charge $17 for a glass of wine. Terrible service. I must not have looked like I could afford a decent meal? Not sure what the problem was but this kind of service is awful.

I recently ate at this restaurant while i was on vacation. as soon as i walked in i smelled the air and there was a extravagant aroma of cooked food, nice wine and a tang of mustiness. While i waited for my food i had to use the bathroom. i stood up and walked to the restroom when i walked in i imeddiatley was overpowered with the smell of thiccdaddy stank breathe keshaun. it was the worst smell ever the man infront of me must have had a blowout. when i finally survived and made it back to my tabel my food was brought out. the wait time was not quick but it was not the longest ever. when i got my steak it was very dry. i bit into it and felt as if i had been stranded in the desert for years. but the baked potatoe i got with it was amazing. it was perfectly shaped and all the toppings were carefully placed. it was loaded with flavor. the food was expensive but i would recommend for special ocassions like great aunties birthday.

Great atmosphere for small size groups (6 people or under). Nice attentive staff and delicious food. The bar is front / right and slightly elevated, so you feel separate from the dinning room while you wait and can get a good look into the dinning area while you wait to be seated. House wines and drinks are offered and are extremely good. Food arrives at the table for all diners at once, house salad included (delicious bib lettuce, pistachios, crumbled blue cheese, and cinnamon sprinkled green apple slices) in a house creamy vinaigrette that was very good! Side items are served family style. The Asparagus, creamed corn, broccoli and whipped potatoes were all delicous. The only reason for knocking down a point was that 3 of the six of us had steaks that were either slightly under or slightly over the doneness that was asked for. Not a deal breaker and we didn't send anything back, but for this price you expect it to be perfect. As I said, all in all a great option for a nice atmosphere and delicious food. Almost forgot... parking is really best accomplished by just using their valet. Regular parking is non-existent in this part of town.

It was nice but I guess I picked the wrong time to come. The people around me were very loud and disturbing. The waiter we had was always forgetting us. The food was good but, our high dollar stakes were over cooked a bit. They do give you a lot of food so no need to order separate sides.

This is one of the most unexpected and well-respected establishments a visitor to Atlanta could experience while in the city. Earlier in the day, every Local I told that I'd be having a dinner event at this restaurant later gave me an eyebrow raise and a solemn nod of approval. After dining here, I now understand why. The service at Bones is immaculate, the staff is incredibly professional & poised, and the food is excellent. A truly wonderful experience, and I want to return often.

After the meal I did not finish, the waiter brought out a huge cake. No charge. We did eat that dessert together. Valet service on Sunday. Fast service too. Bone’s is an institution for a reason. We love to sit back, relax and eat at the bar, where Thos, Chris, Mark, and the rest of the guys take incredible care of us (there’s a fully-loaded jukebox and a TV for watching sports in this area). Don’t pass on the hash browns (even better when you add bacon) and the ham hock collards. Bone’s will quickly become your go-to when you’re just having one of those nights where you’ve just got to have a steak, or you want to treat guests to the best Atlanta has to offer.

LOVE the steaks at bones. My other favorite is truffle butter mashed potatoes. I have eaten here about 6 times. I would have given them 5 stars but my last visit on a Wednesday night for my spouses birthday was not great. We had to ask for 3 times before it came out and my mashed potatoes were cold. Bones is a CLASS ACT. This restaurant did everything right the night we went. We were greeted by the best Maître d' in the biz. He was warm and welcoming and made us feel special right off. We were seated by another very nice man, and then our servers were just great. The food was terrific. Steaks were cooked to perfection (mostly, mine was a little more done than I would like, but still tasted delicious; husband's was perfect) and the corn casserole...oh my goodness, that corn casserole!! Best side dish ever. Tasted just like the corn had been grilled on a Weber! Perfect dinner for our 6th Anniversary. So happy we celebrated here.

This place was classy, delicious and welcoming. The service was quick and professional. Water was always filled up, bread and butter was always refreshed. Silverware and napkins were promptly replaced. The Foie gras had a unique southern twist with the jam and Bree. The chocolate torte was absolutely delicious. However, the steak and vegetables was where this restaurant really shines. The mushrooms were absolutely delicious and spiced to perfection, the corn pudding was sweet and savory, the asparagus was crispy and the greens were sweet. The steak was cooked perfectly, from the filet to the ribeye. The wine was excellent, as was the old fashioned. Everything about this place was impressive

Very attentive personnel. From the valet service to serving staff. Decor in rich browns, stately bar area and dining room with white tablecloths. Extensive menu selections. They're known for their steaks (40 year's), however the fish and chicken entree's were delicious. Large portions, everything a la cart. For dessert, tried the key lime pie. Have had better for the $10 price. The best pie I've had is at Oceanaire(downtown Atlanta). You won't be disappointed if you choose this establishment. Good eats

Had dinner there for the first time last time with my husband, who is always telling me how great this place is, and a couple of friends. We had a reservation for 8pm and arrived there 10 min earlier, however, our table was only available at 8.30. For appetizers we had the Crab and Lobster Napoleon with Chardonnay Cream which was absolutely tasty, and the onion rings. They were ok, and the bourbon sauce that is served with them was great. I had the 12 oz fillet, and so did my husband. Our friends had the scallops with the risotto and the bone in fillet. No complaints, all 4 main dishes were delicious. For the sides we ordered the mac and cheese, collard greens and mashed potatoes. I was not impressed with the mac and cheese, and the collard greens were also not the most amazing, but they were well seasoned. The mashed potatoes side on the other hand, was one of the best I've ever had. I also recommend their tea, it's amazing.The waiters were extremely friendly and knowledgeable, but I was very annoyed with the amount of time we waited for the main course. I am completely aware that Bones is about the vibe and experience but it took 2.30 hours until our meat was served. We arrived at the restaurant at 7.50 and left at 11.40. We were the last ones in the restaurant and that was disappointing.

After going for 25 years, I think I'm done. Veggies were burnt. Seated at the worst table possible, even with a reservation. We celebrate every birthday here, but the service was terrible. Plopping plates on the table, basically throwing the bill at me. There are lots of good restaurants in Atlanta, I'm on the search for a new favorite. Great service! Food was very good as well. Our waiter remembered why we came out to visit this restaurant that night. We told him it was our anniversary. After the meal I did not finish, the waiter brought out a huge cake. No charge. We did eat that dessert together. Valet service on Sunday. Fast service too. The wine we chose for dinner was excellent.

Ate here last time at the Bar. Good food. Was back for a work trip. Excited to take my coworkers there as I was hyping it up. Made reservations for 1+ week. Show up hungry, turned down because of our shirts. Last time here, it was super casual. Other patrons had shirts, but we were the only ones turned away. Like I said, last time, I wore shorts and a shirt as well, no problem. Might I add, we are in the middle of an Atlanta Summer, who isn't in shorts? Host was not having it, claimed there were cameras everywhere and his boss would see.

"Old School" vibe. Lots of dinner jackets with khaki pants. Our waiter's assistant was much more attentive, took our order, knew the specials, much friendlier than the actual waiter. Our waiter seemed stressed, didn't enjoy the fact we brought our 8 year old who ordered an adult meal, and couldn't seem to shake his odd habit "tweaking", looking like he was on some sort of substance. Other than that the food was good, drinks were good, and birthday decor was sweet.

Roberto took such great care of us & we enjoyed everything! Was the best rib eye we have ever had ~ fantastic meal. Bones is the best steakhouse I have ever been to. Enjoyed my time at Bones. We were there for our Anniversary. Atmosphere was romantic and service was impeccable. They had thrown confetti on the table which was cute. They only thing was when it came to dessert time most high end places like this would write Happy Anniversary on the plate or make it a little more special which they didnt do here. The lamb chops came out cold, but they redid it right away. They were under seasoned too. Other than that we had a great time.

Freaked her out when they referenced her good choices as they make notes in your file for the next time you come in. Crab bisque and lamb chops for me were perfect. If u going here, don’t get the porterhouse. One side is great and Tinder the other side is bland but still Tinder. Dry aged bone in rib eye is amazing. By far one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. The crab cake appetizer, bread, and side dishes of mash potatoes and hash browns were also amazing. The lobster tail is one of the best around. The service was good but did take a while to get a while to get our food and there was a distinct smell that wasn’t bad but was unique. It smelled quite nice after u got used to it but as soon as u walk in it’s very strong

How great it feels to enter a restaurant and you are offered exactly what you want to eat, as well as this dish the Wagyu Crunchy Carpaccio With Boursin Cheese and Truffle Oil, exactly describe it as one of my dishes to start eating, has a menu of wine very extensive and good, this time I was offered a wine called "Terra Valentine Premiere Napa Valley". Then my innkeeper offered me as a main dish a 32 oz Bone-In Rib Eye. a super soft first meat, a super delicious flavor, I love it. My wife and my son asked for the Dry Aged Porterhouse .. hahaha I did not think I would eat all the food but, yes, also an excellent cut of meat to share, in addition to this I finished the dessert. 100% recommended

Once inside you'll speak with the Maitre D'. At the table you'll find thoughtful attention to detail, and several people to make sure you have everything you need. On special occasions they go above and beyond with complementary ice cream cake and cookies to go. If you're looking for a great steak house in Atlanta, you'll want to go to Bones!

It was worth the wait. I don't know why....but my wife and I never made it to Bones back in the day. BC. Before Children. We did the rest of them. Pano's and Paul's. The Abbey, Nicholi's Roof. Somehow, we just never made it to Bones. But 30+ years later, it's still a great restaurant. First class service. First class food. And I'd almost forgotten what it was like to eat in a restaurant in which I could actually hear the table conversation. A real pleasure. Everything was perfect. My children were duly impressed. Figure on about a $100 per person if you go. You could do it cheaper, but why would you? This is a place that's actually worth it. Indulge.

Attention to detail, excellent main course and appetizers. We went there for our anniversary and were surprised to find every person from the host to our server knew the occasion and wished us - by name. I had the Japanese Wagyu which was cooked to perfection and for the price was worth it. I was skeptical at the time of ordering it but my server gave me enough information and confidence to go for it. Now for the loss of ONE star - I felt the decor was outdated and the place felt a little dark and dingy to us. Our table wasn't in the best spot and closer to the butler area that we would have liked. I wasn't able to see if there were other better tables available. I am not saying the place is not well maintained but if you are looking for an open, modern style, it will not meet your expectations. At the end of the day, however, my wife and I walked out of there with a fantastic experience and will go back again for our special occasion.

This is my favorite steakhouse in the metro ATL area. I've only been once but def want to come again. It has that old school steakhouse feel to it and the steaks are great. The desserts are huge so def share. We had the beef carpaccio as an app and I had the bone in filet for the entree. You won't be disappointed in this place. Service was fantastic. Trust me.

Top quality restaurant. Steak is good quality but the restaurant’s friendly service really takes top marks. I was there during Super Bowl week and lots of team staff/some players/TV folks. Will absolutely return. Don’t expect the burger after lunch time. They run out.

This place is Packed but the food is awesome. Went early because we did not have a reservation but was kind of brushed off. My fault for no reservation. Decided to wait so tried to get the bar but had to wait quite some time to get served as they seemed to only tend to the people camped at the bar. In the end the wait was worth it the food was amazing but pricey. Would go back again.

Classic Atlanta Steakhouse! Very professional, yet approachable vibe. Menu options were perfect and the results were tremendous, Bones salad, lobster bisque were amazing starters. But the entree was what stole the show. The Porterhouse and the Grit Friters completely blew my mind. I would definitely recommend checking this place out when in town.

Fantastic Atlanta steakhouse. My filet was cooked perfectly (rare)! The sides were very generous portions. The asparagus was huge, but really tender (how do they do that?). Not sure how, but we also split a dessert ice cream cake. Really outstanding.
