Had some burgers. One of them had a funny flavor, and my kid ate half of it. When I noticed he didnt finish it, I tried it to notice that myself. I told the server, and told me next time they'll make it right, and not even discounted it. There will be no next time.

Dining at Bocado Burger was a strange experience--and that's not a term I generally use in my reviews. To summarize, you order at the counter, the food is brought to your table, and you pay the waiter. The food was pretty good, but the overall experience dropped it to a three-star. First, the service: Now, I have no problem with counter-ordering restaurants, but the hybrid of the two was strange and annoying. I either want to deal exclusively with a waiter, or I want to order and complete the transaction (pay) in one go. Were the entire dining experience handled smoothly, I maybe would have been okay with how they run things at Bocado, but our waiter was difficult to deal with. First, he didn't bring us any cutlery or napkins. When he walked by holding a tray of them but don't give us any, I asked if we were supposed to get them ourselves somewhere. He said no, he'd get them for us (this is while our food is on the table going cold in front of us). He then walked to another table, talked to them, and then came back to our table and gave us the *same* cutlery/napkin bundles that had been on his tray when he spoke to us early. We also had to ask him three times before he finally brought us our milkshake. He asked us no less than five times if he could get us anything else, two times of which were after we'd paid (and during the same conversation following us settling our tab). I've never had service be so inattentive and clingy at the same time. The food: My husband had a burger, I had the chicken sandwich, and we shared the seasoned fries. Both burger and sandwich were tasty and well prepared overall, though the bun on the burger was soggy. The fries were crispy and tasty, but they were very oily. We got a chocolate milkshake to share for dessert. It was the worst chocolate shake I've ever had, almost no chocolate flavor and too thin, so it was more or less like drinking slightly thick milk. Not sure if we got a bad one or if they just don't know how to make a proper shake. All in all, I wouldn't come back to this place until I'd exhausted the other options in the area to see if there's something better.

Bacado Burger is one the worst places I’ve eaten in the last year. Highly overrated and overpriced. Steak and Shake makes a better $3.99 burger than a $10.00 Bacoda Burger. You can eat at Ted’s Montana Grill across the street for less $ and get a much better meal.

If your looking for a tasty halal burger, THIS IS THE PLACE!!! The food is excellent. All the beef burgers are halal. The atmosphere is really nice with big screen TVs throughout the place and a nice area outside under the shade to eat. Decor is simple and very clean. The parking can be tough but its not terrible. The service here is very good. The bathrooms are nice and clean. We waited maybe a total of 5-10 minutes before our food came out. The food was really good. Our waitress always checked up on us to make sure we had everything we needed. The price is a bit high for a burger but then again the quality of the food is that good. It was a bit of a drive since we live closer to downtown but its very much worth it.

Chicken burger was excellent..probably one of the best burgers I ever had. But portions are very small..and everything costs extra. The large bowl of fries is too big for two people so go for medium size..you would thank me for eating less carbs cos they are delish. I was down with a bad cold so the mixologist made me a warm bourbon honey-lemon drink which was out of the world. That drink swept me off my feet

Hubs & I got famished looking at the Teslas. Closeby, Bocado's was a happy surprise! I ordered the Southwestern (topped with a poblano and sliced avocado) - very flavorful thin meat patties cooked to perfection. We are OLD but felt very welcome among all the youngsters.

Bocado Burger is one of our go-to burger spots. I love the veggie burger, and my husband really enjoys their traditional beef options. The french fries are fresh and well cooked. I'm not a huge fan of the flavor of their fried pickles, but I wasn't disappointed in the quality. It was just breading heavy and not enough pickled taste. When the kids are with us they enjoy the whole atmosphere, and I like that fresh fruit is an option for the side. This truly is one of our favorite "quick date" moments away from the kids. We like to sit at the bar and have a drink or two with the meal. I cannot remember the bartender's name... Nina maybe? Anyway, she is great! She can make boozy shakes to order if you just tell her what you like. She also makes some great mixed drinks that aren't on the menu. She had a great talent at asking a few questions about what you like and then presenting you with something delicious.

Got a burger with a fried green tomato and grilled peppers, delicious! Hand-cut fries are amazing and some of the best fried pickles ever. Got a milk shake that was a little too milky but it was also a hot day and I was sitting outside. Service was great, nice and friendly, and periodically checking in on me.

Food is decent, but massively overpriced. Plain absurdity. Burgers alone are $11-13...alone. And don’t think you are getting a 1/2lb patty...get a single patty burger and you’ll get a wafer thin patty probably 1/8” thick. Want a beer? Oh, that will be $6-$8 for Blue Moon or Creature Comforts respectively. Probably cheaper to eat at a Braves game...

Excellent burger, excellent crispy fries. Great friendly service from Nina at the full service bar. Good chocolate shake to round out the meal. Lots of families with children were there to enjoy a burger. The outdoor seating area is large and includes a corn hole setup if you need a distraction while you wait. Recommended.

I am torn, I want to give this place a 5 star just based on how good the food is, however the service was bad. The girl at the register was nice and helped my wife and I out a lot since we were new to the place, but the servers lacked any curtoucy. Couldn't say you are welcome or thank you, never refilled my drink, never checked up on us. The place was not filled as it was a Thursday afternoon so it's not like it was a busy time. The waiters were just lounging around. As mentioned the food deserves a 5 star, but service deserves a 1 so I think a 3 star rating is fair.

I went with a friend and didn't know what to expect. You order your food, get a number and pick a seat. They bring your food to the table and serve you throughout the meal. You get the bill at the end. The food is AWESOME - The brussel sprouts could be a meal on their own! Try the BLT burger... You won't regret it.

This place was recommended by a co-worker I was very impressed. As we walked in, we were greeted. Sat at the bar and our server, Cassidy, made sure that we were well taken cared off. Garlic fries were awesome but not too garlic-y. Swiss and mushroom burger was not packed with ingredients like other restaurants tend to do. The atmosphere was great as well. It wasn't too pack for lunch. Will definitely be back.

Great burgers and nice set up ordering at counter. Only thing waitress was slow, didn’t refill waters and teas and was mostly MIA. Self seating, but since food is delivered to table, you have to tip. Nice atmosphere and had indoor/outdoor seating. $60, plus $10 tip for three burgers, once chicken sand (two with fries), one tea. Pricey, but again, great food.

Burger was good. Poor value. Side salad is laughably small. Payment is weird. You order up front, are given a number, but then you have to wait for the check, which they messed up. Why not pay when you order instead of failing to reinvent the wheel. Oh, and bathrooms were a little gross. No toilet paper holder, and no paper towels to open the pull door, which is strange given that this is a finger food establishment.

Burger was average. Service was horrible. We looked at our server and she looked through us like we didnt exist. Then we had to ask another server for a pen because the girl did not come back for 15 minutes. Other servers seemed to pay attention to their tables.

Easily the best burger in the area. Everything from the in-house beef blend/grind and preparation, to the bun, is perfect. Avoid the gimmick burgers and go for something more traditional so you can compare to other, substandard, burgers.

Clean-that's the nicest comment I can say about this restaurant. My burger came to the table missing two items that I made sure the order taker understood. I sent the burger back and the mgr hadn't a clue what was really missing but he was apologetic. Not so apologetic that he comp'd the burger... horrible and tasteless meal. I honestly want to go purge this pathetic meal out of my system.

Really enjoy the burgers here. They give you two thin patties, and the cheese melts in perfectly. The bun is toasted on the inside, but still soft in the middle. Fries are delicious . Lines were short, people were friendly. Give it a shot.

Burgers were delicious. My only two improvements would be... I eat mine Greenstyle without a bun. Using a more firm lettuce would have made the burger much easier to eat. Also, the side salad portion size was laughable. Getting up-charged to skip fries and add a miniscule salad was kind of a bummer.

We have been going to Bocado i since it opened - frequently We were there again today - I must say it needs an overhaul .....badly Tables are sticky , outside has dead plants and weeds growing through the fake grass on the bocce ( ???) court which is not used for bocce ! Inside , food has gone down hill Always good , it has taken a sad trip downhill- burger was ok , buns stale and service was slow - C’mon Bocado , steam clean the inside , perk up the outside and serve the burger you opened with - so disappointing!

Very unethical attitude. If people are eating alone leave them alone. Do not be unethical. Keep your dirty looks far from women. Bocado used to be the best place for burgers but sadly not anymore. Their burgers went to the gym and became very thin. I thought I will get double but I got a tiny burger which even small Macdonald burger looks hulk next to it. The only thing which is good is a bun. Lastly, it is very overpriced. One of the employees was unethical.

For burgers they are great, chicken sandwiches and such are just a little sad in my opinion. Maybe a slightly thicker chicken slice? Also, wheat bread was super saggy, i think between the butter/oil they brush them with and chicken juices it was hard to pick up. My wife’s burger was tasty and looked good! Fries were tasty too!

Well the food was okay but the service was extraordinarily slow and I'm not sure why. They weren't that busy. My friend's sweet potato fries were cold. There is a lot of competition for burgers around here. And with a place as good as Ted's Montana Grill right behind them they need to do better...

Second time trying this place and it was just as poor of an experience as the first time! Bathroom was disgusting and dirty, silverware was dirty, my husband's beer mug had gross food build up on the inside of it, price point is way off for the quality of food, and $11 for a cold, 3 oz. piece of chicken on a bun is an absolute joke. Need I mention that it is counter order service for your food but they bring you the check after they come to your table one time to drop off your food so that you can still tip your "server"? If that's what you would call her. There are tons of options to choose from in the area for a great meal before wasting your time and money at this place!

If you want the highly acclaimed Bocado Burger Stack that graces so many top burger list, DO NOT come here. The burgers here do not do the original Bocado in Midtown any justice. I only come here cause it's close, hoping for them to prove me wrong, but every time it's a let down. Don't get me wrong. The burger is good, but definitely not good enough. They do have a lot more burger options so you can customize what you want so that's nice. Took forever to keep my burger. It was fresh off the grill....just long wait. Surprisingly these "servers" are paid $2/hr and expect tips, yet they really don't do anything. You place your order at the counter, and they bring you your food. Refill your drink if you need it. Strange. Not sure why anyone would tip anything nor who is silly enough to work here. I usually sit at the bar where it's a normal experience.

This place has easily the best quick service burger and fries I've ever had, but that comes at price. Yes they're better than something like Five Guys or In-N-Out, but even with the lunch special they're more expensive than those options. Are they as much better as they are more expensive? I think the answer is yes, but that doesn't mean I can afford to eat here as often as I'd like. Consider this place the spot if you're wanting a more upscale meal, but you still think that meal should be a burger. A Bocado stack next to their herb fries is a great way to spend lunch, and I love it every time I get a chance to do just that. Also, shame on anyone who gets a burger at the Whole Foods next door instead of here. Whole Foods is just as pricey, but definitely not as good.

One of the best burger places in Alpharetta. Everything is great quality and always tastes amazing. I haven't had anything bad there. They also have a ton of options and combinations you can do to customize your food. They have a great patio area with bocce ball and cornhole boards which is super fun when it is warm. The bar is tucked to the side and is a little small but has great options and usually has local craft beers as well.

This place is a front for a chunky cheese. Kids running around like wild animals running through the restaurant and outdoor patio. The children were also screaming at the top of their lungs at 10:00pm on a Friday night. Complained to one of the managers and she had the excuse of her hands were tied. Children so be no running around a public restaurant screaming and slamming doors. Will never come back. Horrible first experience.

Great location, great food options (burger everyday!) and taste amazing! If you’ve ever been to the original location you will feel right at home. Very high quality ingredients make this burger (and fries) a killer option to satisfy your tastebuds. The location couldn’t be better, much easier to find and park here compared to the Howell Mill location. While this location is centered around the “burger” you will not be disappointed with anything on the menu.

My veggie burger was okay. The burger a friend had was over cooked and he didn't enjoy it at all. The bread pudding isn't on the menu but they still serve it? Nice rustic atmosphere. Goal accomplished. The bartender Nina was accommodating and very sociably enjoyable.

Little weird service. You order upfront with a cashier, then sit down, but have a waiter. Little weird, but burger is awesome and melts in your mouth. Overpriced though. 8-9$ for a burger. Once you put bacon and cheese on it it’s 15$. Expensive but tastes good

Amazing! One of the best burgers I have ever had. We purchased the cowboy burger and seasoned fries. Everything was cooked perfectly, the bbq sauce was the right blend of sweet and spicy, and the cheese was perfectly melty. I recommend this place if you are in the area. Great atmosphere and friendly staff.

Ordered a Veggie Patty burger where I pointed to the guy where it said veggie patty and I ended up getting a beef patty. I didn't realize it was meat and I asked the waiter if it was meat or the veggie burger. He said he'll ask the cook and the cook said he didn't remember. They couldn't remember what I ordered so honestly I'm not surprised they couldn't remember what they cooked.

Bocado Burger is hands-down one of the best places to get a high quality, fresh, custom-made beef hamburger. I've eaten at many other comparably priced burger places and Bocado Burger is the best. Contrary to what some say about it being over-priced, for what you get in quality and taste, Bocado Burger is a good value. And, quite honestly, their pricing is comparable or better than most other higher quality burger joints like Burger 21, or 5 Guys or The Counter(speaking of overpriced burgers). Bocado Burger is one of the few places i genuinely want to go back to time and time again. Great Food, Great Service, with a hip, urban, rustic environment. What's not to love! Take may word for it and go try Bocado Burgers for yourself. Try the Classic BLT Burger or go custom. I promise you won't be disappointed.

This was actually recommended to me by a friend of mine who said it was a top 5 metro Atlanta burger spot. I must say he wasn't too far off. Great atmosphere being right in the Avalon away from the hustle and bustle. The BLT burger is a great choice and this restaurant is a 5 star.

Southwest burger was tasty. And, the fried green tomatoes with spicy dip was delicious. I thought the price was too high for the value. The service was lacking. I had to remind wait staff to fill my water glass three times and the place 2nd not even busy. When I asked for more lemons for my water. I received a "really?" attitude. Of course it took forever to get them. Gave 3 stars because the food tasted fresh.

very good quality burger, and my best friend I came with thought the same, in fact he said it was one of the best burgers he had in his life, if not the best. And the meat was zabiha/halal for our cultural taste, and i enjoyed the fact that it wasn't just one of those mediterranean cafes, that they also served alcohol and had a bar (despite the fact my friend and I don't drink for religious reasons). I like the blending of native and diverse. my buddy and i came here to break our fasting for a special occasion and it was a meal i wont forget!

Bocado Burger is located in the Avalon shopping center in Alpharetta, GA. The parking situation is honestly horrible most days as it is for the entire Avalon as well. So if you get a good parking spot, lucky you! The location is big. They have seating both outside and inside. Tables are spread throughout the dining area. You have small tables and large tables to accommodate your party size. At Bocado, you order at the counter and they will deliver your order to your table. You pay after you eat. The menu is typical of most burger places. You of course have your burgers which aren't too unique, but a burger is a burger and you can only make it exotic up to a certain point before ruining it. So keeping it simple is fine for me. They have sandwiches and hotdogs as well. Also they some desserts like ice cream and milkshakes to name a few. There is also a beer menu too. I ended up ordering the Bocado Double Stack and also a Strawberry Milkshake. The burger was very juicy and had some savoriness to it for some good flavor. It's not too big in size so for some it may not be enough. Try to get a side of fries if you can, the fries here are really good by the way. The milkshake was really average to be honest. I thought it was a tad too expensive as well for what I ended up getting. Overall, I think I still prefer Shake Shack burgers if I had to compare the beef patties, it's a more to my liking there. Bocado is still pretty good though. A lot of complaints in the past seem to be more related to the service and wait times, but it wasn't too bad during my visit. Definitely worth checking if you can find a parking spot.
