SNAPSHOT = gorgeous building inside, fantastic outside seating and excellent food - details below... Had lunch one day and went back for dinner the very next night. Lunch menu had variety and nice balance but wasn't too large. Low Country Mussels were warm dish and very tasty. Dinner menu had same balance. Will have to go back for steaks. Lump Crab Meat starter was very good. It was made a bit plain with "regular" cocktail sauce on the side. Would have liked to have tried jalapeno aioli that garnished the warm crab starter dish. Still great and almost ordered a second one. Charred Octopus was excellent! Can't wait to get back!

Very nice setting and good food. The sweet tea was very sweet (it's Savannah, after all.) I ultimately had to cut it with unsweet tea. I recommend the bacon corn chowder - it was perfect! The fried chicken was just a touch dry, nothing unforgivable. There was certainly plenty of it! The macaroni and cheese was heavenly, and the collards were the first I have ever liked. I found the jalepeno cheese cornbread a bit problematic. I sent the first one back as it was rather hard and nearly impossible to break into eatable bits. The second was better, but very dry where I expected a bit moist: l could not eat it. Our server, Ashley (not sure on the spelling) was attentive and friendly. The hostess was gracious and welcoming.

We had a reservation for 3:30 which the restaurant should not have accepted. When we were seated, we waited 15 minutes before a server came...we were told she just came on duty. Why would you seat guests when you don't haver a server available? At 4:30 we were told the kitchen was closing and if wanted entrees we needed to order right then. We just asked for the check. This was supposed to be a celebratory meal and my wife called twice, asking for the restaurant to do a small favor for her. They completly ignored/forgot about her request. We were so disappointed with tour service, the manager never came to speak to us. This restaurant really should not accept reservations or seat people if they are not prepared to offer decent customer service. We left your restaurant hungry, disappointed, and a bit frustrated.

Food is outstanding and I love the local beers they serve. Wait staff is wonderful. Will be going back the next time I am in Savannah.

Jonathan Andrews

Great food, very long wait. 20 minutes for drinks, 35 minutes for apps, 45 mins for entrees, additional 20 for desert. Long night ahead!

Jessica Gierke

My boyfriend and I stopped in Belford's for a late lunch back in early December. He had the bleu burger which he loved! I had the duck gumbo- It was one of the most delicious meals I have ever eaten. I talked about it for days. We had great service and the atmosphere was lovely. We will be back on our next trip to Savannah!

This place has really gone downhill and is not worth going to anymore. There is a newer loud mouthed manager we heard throughout our entire meal. They served me cod trying to pass it as halibut. The “risotto” looked like it came from a rice-a-Roni box. The waitress looked like she wanted to be anywhere but there. Save your money and go to a.lure or alligator soul for nice food in Savannah.

Krista Moyer

Visited on a quick trip down from Charleston....Steve was an excellent and attentive server! The ambience was nice, muted from the bustle outside, and the jazz playing over the speakers was a good touch. The scallop starter was delicious and the BLT stack was on point. The she crab soup was a little thick but the flavor was spot on. We ordered a 55 day aged strip and a ribeye, both med rare. We barely had room for the sides. Both steaks were perfectly cooked, and the peppercorn sauce was a nice add. I had mine on the side, he had his served as intended. It was tasty either way. I had the Dixie lemonade cocktail which was dangerous and delightful! I fully intend to try to replicate the drink at home. I really wish we had a Belford's in Charleston. The experience was well worth the expense.

Food, Staff, Location and Ambiance is perfect!

Jonah Overstreet

The service was amazing I hope the guy named Steven gets a raise. and if Steven is reading this thank you for the service and food. If you have Instagram I'm @iix_clan. Thank you again and you deserved the 20$.

Antonio Kirkland

My experience there was disappointing. I would definitely not go back. Service was questionable. And the food was just okay, and possibly made my quest/company ill.

Lawrence Staab

Cold food, confused service and high prices. Prices reflect they are proud of their food and drinks - but shouldn't be.

Kimberly Burgon

This place is off the hook! Order a crab cake. I promise, it will not disappoint!

AL N

Fabulous historic location, fantastic food, great atmosphere, professional wait staff, and family friendly! Our family of three dined on Fish and Chips, Crab Benedict, and Chicken Fingers and enjoyed every bite. The Crab Benedict in particular, was awesome, very little filler in the scrumptious crab cakes, eggs cooked perfectly accompanied by some delicious cheese grits and fruit salad. When we return to Savannah, we will return here to dine!

Emma Cumberland

Service was perfect, food was perfect. My husband and I were impressed eith the fresh seafood selection and the quality of taste! The entire experience was worth every penny.

Carolyn Stephens

This was an amazing place to eat. Don't overlook this place. Our server was on top of.everything and created an incredible experience. She will go far in life with her kindness and great attitude. We appreciated her very much.

Mark Pfeiffer

What an amazing place with great service! We walked in Dec 23rd and had a wonderful evening with amazing food brought together by great staff that also made an amazing tree. The chocolate cake with molten chocolate was an amazing finale! Wow wow wow!!!

Chaos Lord

Best food intown hands down if you like good food its a must stop

Erich Perez

Delicious! I definitely will be coming back.

Kimberly Cole Zemke

Fantastic food. Great desserts. The first restaurant I have been to that had She Crab Soup and Lobster Bisque. Both were delicious. The Grouper was good. The steaks were delicious according to those in our group that got them. The Chocolate brownie Cake with Shredded White Chocolate snd Cinnamon whipped topping icing was absolutely divine!!! Our waitress was nice enough but try as she might she could not keep up with us. It was a semi busy night. We enjoyed this restaurant immensley. It was my step brother's birthday bash in Savannah and they brought him Bread Pudding with candles. It was a delightful night.

Ed Smith

Great food and great help. Cheyenne at the bar was one of the best I have ever had the pleasure to serve us. Make it your place to see wheoyou visit savanah

Todd Gutowski

Nice to sit outside and enjoy dinner and a drink. The staff was extremely friendly.

Martin Fletcher

If I ever visit again, I will definitely have the steak here again. Great selection of drinks and great prices.

Relax Herbal Pillows Florida

Great fun. Drew our bartender was so professional and knowledgeable. He made us the most delightfulcocktails. The food is delicious !!

Ryan Schecky

Atmosphere was outstanding, staff was amazing and the food was top notch.

JB ZAHN

Great place to eat! We had fried green tomatoes and lump crab cake for starters and recommend the Triple Blend Moody Bleu Burger for lunch.... is awesome!

Christian Hawkins

I don’t usually leave reviews but this place went above and beyond my expectations. We were traveling and wanted to stop and stretch our legs in Savannah. We stopped by for dinner because they have a beautiful covered patio and we had our German Shepherd with us. Our server went out of his way to make us happy and the food was some of the best I’ve eaten. We will definitely be back anytime we are in town.

Jim Yelverton

Food came so fast I felt like the wait staff were coached to turn tables. I'm pretty sure the meal was sitting under a heat lamp waiting on me. Wait staff was nice and location was good but the food was only fair at best for the price.

Sherry Harral

A very busy and noisy restaurant but in spite of that, the service is very good. Steaks are cooked to perfection. Just be prepared for a lengthy wait for your meal.

Regan MacLean

Such a lovely spot with delicious food. My steak was done to perfection and our server Steven was awesome. He was so friendly, gave great suggestions, and service was 100%. We were visiting from Canada and it was the best dinner of our trip! My husband had the fried chicken and enjoyed every single bite!

Amy Tanner

Very nice, food was good, service was good no complaints

ken wattles

Wife had steak. Based on the steak an excellent rating. My shrimp was burned in spots. Place is pricey. Service was very good.

Kelsey Fields

My husband made a reservation for our anniversary dinner. We arrived on time and we were promptly seated. We were sat in the more secluded room to the left of the restaurant. There were other guest in the room as well with TWO servers. 10 min goes by still no one has asked our drink orders or even acknowledged we were there. One of the waitresses kept going back to a table of 4 and was EXTREMELY loud and was CURSING talking about how she hated Savannah and she wasn’t from here and couldn’t wait to move away. At this point we are 15 min in still no one has said anything to us. I look at my husband and said let’s give it 5 more minutes. 20 minutes I’m aftee trying to get attention we get up and go to the hostess and tell her we leaving. At that point the waitress who was loud and cursing comes up and says “oh I was just about to come see you after that table left”..... so we had to wait another hour and half to get reservations at RUTH’s CHRIS! And let me say the service and the food was WONDERFUL!

Amy Cuchna

We stopped in for a late lunch. We ordered the she crab soup, crab cocktail, and chicken and waffle sliders. My husband loved the sliders, but unfortunately my meal was not very appetizing. The crab soup tasted like cream of shrimp soup and had a lot shell pieces in it. The crab cocktail was dry and weirdly crunchy. The dry parsley was everywhere on it and crunchy. Our waitress was pleasant and really hated that my meal was less than satisfactory. We are on the fence if we will give Belford's another try. Maybe dinner is better than lunch? 3 stars is generous.

John Callison

Best collard greens I've ever tasted. Shrimp and grit cakes were incredible. One order of chicken sliders was easily enough for two people. Beautiful room and engaging wait staff. Excellent place for an indulgent lunch!

Robert Schlein

Came here for our fancy dinner as part of a bachelor party. We were a table of 7 and had a reservation. We were seated promptly when we arrived and the manager bought the bachelor a free drink, which was a nice touch. The ambiance here was very nice, not overly fancy, but southern hospitality. The waitress helping us was super friendly and helpful. We ordered a whole bunch of different things between us. I got the crab cake app and the ribeye for dinner. The crab cake was mostly crab, which was awesome. It was also more like a lumpy crab muffin not a flat cake like I’m used to. Either way it was super good. The steak was also cooked to perfection, I like medium rare. The potatoes and spinach as sides were also very good. I also cannot not mention the bread you get, amazing, but tons of butter; just how it should be. The overall experience was very good and I would recommend this place for anything from a date night to a group of friends, just maybe not a bunch of kids. The price was reasonable for the quality and quantity. As a big group our waitress had no problems splitting the check.

Debbie Pace

Scallops cooked perfectly but could have been a little more seasoned.

Ramblin Rebel

Good food and service

Deborah Staab

My husband and I ate at Belford's for a family gathering of about 30 people. They had a set menu of 2 appetizers, 3 entrees, and 2 desserts, which were not what we would have ordered if we could have chosen ourselves from the menu. No prices were listed on the menu given to us. We were very disappointed with the food. It was extremely overpriced. Having one cocktail each, plus one dinner each (3 courses, which we had to choose from the set menu), our bill was $200. The food was cold and my husband got his steak after most of the group had finished their food because it was delivered incorrectly the first time out. One of my friends with us and I actually had stomach problems caused by our fish entree the next day. We are from Savannah and dine at many of the fine restaurants downtown. It will be our last trip to Belford's.

Sandy Sallaz

Kendall, our server was a sweetheart, but will be better served if she takes her talents to another restaurant. Please see pic of my $45 steak sprinkled with a few mushrooms (an additional $6 charge). I always order filet mignon at steak restaurants, but this did not even look like filet. It was very thin and I could barely cut into it, the texture was that of jerky. The potatoes were saturated with oil, creating a river of grease in my mouth when I bit into them. The spinach was thin, more like a soup. My husband's She Crab soup was the texture of paste. They did have a fun, unique drink menu and I enjoyed my Dixie Stampede. They had some nice wine selections, but were way overpriced. I saw low end wines on their menu that I buy from grocery markets for $10 a bottle, their price was $15 a glass. Our meal experience explains why the restaurant was almost empty on Mothers Day (see pic).

david Mobley

Food was wonderful and our waitress Kendall was great.

Colleen Steel

I was very disappointed with our dining experience at Belford’s. We live in the Savannah area and have been meaning to try Belfords for some time now. Our BLT appetizer was excellent but our entrees (pork chop and short rib) were just okay. The entree size of the short rib was too small and the vegetables were not fully cooked. The most disappointing factor was our service. We felt like an afterthought most of our night and barely saw our waitress to even get her attention. We don’t get many nights out and I’m upset we used one here.

Celso Poderoso

Excellent sea food. Staff very Friendly and efficient. Pet friendly in the patio. Good wine selection.

Mary Ellen Kearney

Absolutely awful! Went last night for Thanksgiving and paid 52 dollars for surf and turf offering which was recommended. Steak was tough, lobster was cold, mashed potato was hard and dry. Waiter brought another potatoes and it was the same. My friend had the halibut and the brussel sprouts were hard and fish had no flavor. Then they charged us with 5 lattes when we had 1 coffee. Place was empty after being told that they would give our seat away if we were 10 minutes late. This was a RIP OFF for a meal much less a Thanksgiving meal. Much better places in Savannah

Chris Mccuan

Best dinner of my life, (and I've lived/been all over the world!)

Stephanie Bill

This place was excellent! Nothing was wrong in this meal or service. We had the mint julep and blueberry lemonade drinks, the bleu burger and the oyster po boy. High praise! The lettuce and tomato were even seasoned.... sign of an excellent restaurant...

Jon Beasley

A good value in the touristy market...friendly staff.

Saunje Fertil

The crabcakes never disappoint and the staff is so friendly.

Dave T

A must for people visiting Savannah. Convenient at city market but a good place for an adult dinner when you want to leave the noise of the day behind, and enjoy being in a quit and nice setting. Located in City Market it is walk friendly and an easy stop for tourists. This is a place that will see me again and again.

Kaushal Sinha

Old place charm with great southern food. Fried calamari was great and so was beef brisket ravioli. Fantastic place to go to with family and friends.

Julia Spinner

Great food complimented by a superb staff!!

Amanda Winton

My boyfriend and I went for dinner and from the start we knew it was going to be a terrible evening. The night started with our table cloth being covered in grease from previous use and out waiter was awkward and inattentive. The crab soup was awful and had absolutely no crab meat, the steaks were subpar for $46, the salmon had no flavor, and the wine was overly priced. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS PLACE. $200 for the equivalent of a McDonald’s quarter pounder.

Andy Starnes

This is the third time that we have given this restaurant to try. As before the service was substandard we ask to be seated inside and instead was given a outside table. Another couple came up which had two dogs on their leash the lady sat the dog in the chair right beside me. I requested that we be moved to a table inside as I have previously requested and received a lot of attitude from the waitress. After being moved to the inside A brief conversation with a couple beside us revealed that they had been waiting several minutes just to get some additional items so they can start eating their new. We decided we could find some other place to eat that would be appreciative have a business.

Tedd Lookatch

Came for the she crab soup. Didn't disappoint. They paired it with an deviously prepared apple and gargonzola sandwich. Great atmosphere and patio setup. Would like to come back and tackle some of there entrees.

Riley MacLean

A fun spot in the City Market that you should stop at for dinner. The atmosphere, the staff, the food, the drinks and the price make it the place to go to. The portions were massive. We had to take a doggy bag home after the amazing complimentary bread and our appetizer. I highly recommend the fried chicken. The chicken alone was incredible but the sides were the kicker. We wish we had room for dessert. Definently make this your dinner choice while in Savannah and ask for Stephen to be your server. He's the best

Dieter Kreuzberg

Too expensive, Bad Service, price ist too high for the supplied quality

A Turner

I had high expectations when we picked this restaurant. We were expecting at the least, good food quality. But to our dismay, this restaurant wasn't at all "high-end". Everything started out fine when we walked in, they sat us down and we waited for our server for a LONG time, about 15-20mins before he greeted us, mind you, it was a pretty slow day as it was a weekday and it was after lunch time. Many other servers just looked at us and walked passed us (No care at all). The first thing out of our server's mouth when he finally came to us was, "Are you being served?" while pointing his finger at us. We said no and the next thing to come out of his mouth was, "Do you guys know what you want?" with a "I'm over it" tone of voice. NO introduction and NO common courtesy. We went ahead and ordered just for the sake of hunger and to not have to wait any longer than we had to. When we received our food, it looked OK but the taste was not satisfying. I ordered fish and chips. The batter they used for the fish literally tasted like PURE BEER. I know fish and chips, and it being dipped in beer batter doesn't automatically mean it should taste like pure beer. I think the chef took beer batter way too seriously. The server never checked in on us after we received our food, he just walked by us a few times to light candles on empty tables. When we were ready to leave, we waited for our check for an additional 10-15mins. Restrooms also smells like raw seafood. To be honest, I'm not sure if we were being judged on how we looked like (a young couple dressed super casually) but I definitely expected more out of this place because even a local low-key pub has better service than this high-end restaurant.

Maria Owens

Came in for Happy Hour. Bartender was great but overworked so we did not get any attention. Other servers and staff standing around. The drinks are amazing but if you are going to have Happy Hour have more help to keep people Happy.

Greg DeWitt

We only stopped for a late afternoon drink and snack. We enjoyed sitting outside on their patio facing the City Market area. The location is great for people watching! I had their margarita and my wife had a Cote de Rhone white that was particularly tasty. We also ordered calimari which was perfectly fried. Overall, a very pleasurable experience was had this afternoon!

Hubert Gibbs

Was hugely disappointed with my filet mignon! Thought they would excel when it came to steaks but they didn't at all! It was overcooked and dry with no flavor....at least they took it off the check. The lump crab cakes on the other hand was delish!

Jean-Baptiste polle

It's correct. Nothing extraordinary and a bit pricy in my opinion.

Seth Chick

It started off great they seared up promptly and it went down hill from there

heather highcove

Food was mediocre... edible, but not great.. brocolli was tough, steak a bit tough, creamed spinach .. well, sent it back.. was soupy ... gouda grits had zero flavor.. needed salt.. so... for the money, it wasnt that great..we wont go back.. this was our second time..

susan wattles

My filet was delicious!!! And so tender!!!!

Shannon K. Byrdsong - Your Fit Realtor

Visited area to celebrate my birthday and our hotel recommended. I ordered the filet, medium, broccolini and fried potatoes, crab cake and bread. The crabcake was delicious - loved the sweet tomato and sauce served with it. The bread was amazing! My filet came out overcooked and dry, but the waitor did address and management did come by our table and comp our drinks and gave me a dessert. My husband ordered ribeye and it was under seasoned, but juicy. He orederd it medium and it came out medium rare. He did not send back, but did have to add salt. He enjoyed his grilled asparagus and potatoes. Overall the service was fairly good and food was OK.

Jason Gullick

Great steak. I live near Bern's in Tampa so it's tough to give it 5 stars.

Terry Ford

Very Pricey but Very Good!

Joe Jenkins

The food was excellent. Nice atmosphere

Tabitha Brawner

Great from the raw oysters to the fillet mignon. Highly recommend eating here while in Savannah

Jenna North

After several trips to Savannah, went to Belford’s for a nice dinner. Service and ambiance was great. Bread and scallops were fantastic. Had filet and ribeye. Cooked perfect but nothing really special. Charcuterie plate looked perfect but wasn’t anything I would order again - 2 cheeses and 2 meats. Dropped at table with no explanation of what was on the tray. Felt a bit overpriced for the total bill - Scallops were $11 for 2, steaks were over $50 each. Didn’t have any sweet wines or alcoholic ciders. It was nice for this one time but based on price, probably would not go back.

Edwina Ducker

The best crab cakes in Savannah great people watching and the service was attentive and professional.

Dave Belluz

Great atmosphere and drinks. Great place to kick back and relax.

Janet Perez

Amazing steak with blue cheese butter sauce. Thw atmosphere was perfect for date night or a group of friends

Trinidad Vega

I will start by saying, the management team here is superior and handled the situation better than expected. Tonight we dined on the patio praying the weather held up. Thank God it did! Our server was Wanda and she was amazing. She was very assertive, she recommend menu items, and she even allowed me to recreate a dish on your menu due to some restrictions I have with eating. The salmon and shrimp was cooked perfectly. I had a side of mashed potatoes which was really buttery and just how I like to them. It was also paired with the asparagus and a dressing on the side. The fiancé had the halibut dish which was a huge serving but perfectly cooked. I had a bite of the fish and it was so tender. The zucchini and couscous it came with was a refreshing pairing. Lastly, we shared the berries dessert. It's a perfect way to end a very full meal. The berries are refreshing and the whipped cream added was just light enough to not make you feel overfilled. Overall we were treated like VIPs. I truly appreciate the hard work Wanda, Ashley, and the rest of the Belford's team put in tonight. We will be back to try brunch. Thank you for showing that you care about your customers.

Jon Fassett

This is unbelievable great food. Everything in our party for dinner was fantastic. It is pricey (by my standards anyway) so check the menu to see if you want to spend that much. But if you are looking for a great upscale dinner this will do it.

Patricia Berkery

After a long day at the Savannah book festival, it was a pleasure to have such a relaxing culinary experience at Belford's. Our waitress,Beverly couldn't have been more competent, smiling and attentive she made us feel so welcome. The butternut squash soup was tasty and well presented. Filet mignon and crabcakes were excellent. Portion sizes left room for desert. The key lime cheese cake was one of the best we've had. A memorable way to spend a Saturday evening in Savannah.

Robbie Griffin

Great service great food wonderful place would recommend to anyone

Diane Smith

I went for Restaurant Week 2019 and it was fabulous. I had the fried green tomato salad and then the beef short ribs for my entree. I was only able to eat about half my entree so my server packed it up for me. I also had to bring home my desert which was bread pudding. Everything, from the food to the service was simply wonderful. I would recommend this place to anyone asking.

Lauren Maiman

Great location with lots of action just outside the doors. The calamari was a good starter and the arugula and baked goat cheese salad was delicious, though it could’ve used more strawberries and nuts.

Brandon Castro

Our waiter was absolutely great and the location is superb with being right on City market. However, the food was not worth the price we paid. We paid $120 for a two scallop appetizer, salmon/shrimp, streak entree, and two glasses of wine. Scallops were great, ribeye steak was decent but not worth $55 (quality equivalent to Texas Roadhouse or Outback), and we can cook better salmon at home as it was quite bland. I would've found it acceptable to pay half the price for the quality of food. Seems like you are paying more for the service and location.

Chrissy F

So the people were incredibly friendly, the dessert was great, my drink was nice and strong, the bread was amazing... BUT. My entree was far from impressive. The pork was dry and lacked so much flavor. The chutney also had a really not great taste to it. I had such high hopes. Everything was great except for, well, my main entree which is the most important part of the meal. I should have just ordered a salad.

Nick Bess

The crab cakes were so good, and the tomato jam with them was delightful.

Nate Davis

Wife and I enjoyed our dinner today at Belfords. Savannians rave of the runch and Lunch. Come check it out.

Linnet Mathu

Good food, attentive wait staff and really fast service

Colleen Wilkerson

Candice Edwards

One of my absolute favorite spots in Savannah .Wonderful food and the team there is AMAZING! Definitely check this place out!!

Melissa Borovinova

Very nice place! Food was very tasty. I would go back for the crab cake alone (delicious!!). Great atmosphere and nice service.

Phil King

My wife and I travel around the low country trying to find the best she-crab soup, needless to say this restaurant is hands down top 3 she -crab soup dishes we’ve ever had. Great location with elegant atmosphere to match. A definite must for your Savannah visit.

Nekole Lozano

We loved our lunch at Beldord's. Classy atmosphere but not stuffy, perfect drinks/local beer, and a delicious lunch. Brian, our waiter, was pleasant and efficient. Located in the City Market area of Savannah so close to everything.

Coco Chanelle

After a long traveling journey from Maryland, my mom and I found this restaurant. We were greeted and seated very quickly. We sat for 20 minutes as employees walked past us, without uttering a word. Maybe it was due to being black, we were not even acknowledged in such a high scale establishment in the south. Never will I recommend this restaurant to anyone and Belford's should be ashamed for treating customers in such a manner.

Ashlee Hathaway

We stopped here for dinner. We both ordered specials: the salmon oscar and the flounder. The salmon was great. Cooked well and the mashed potatoes were tasty. The flounder was good but the fingerling potatoes and shrimp came out cold. The server was very nice and quickly brought out mashed potatoes which my husband liked more anyways. They didn't have a gluten free menu so you need to rely on the servers but it seemed like they have quite a few options.

Travis Zinger

Really swank. Great place to be fancy. Food and wine was on point. Service was exceptional. Prices are high but it is a high end restaurant soooooo.

Kristi Holmes

We loved our lunch at Beldord's. Classy atmosphere but not stuffy, perfect drinks/local beer, and a delicious lunch. Brian, our waiter, was pleasant and efficient. Located in the City Market area of Savannah so close to everything.

Linda Osipchuk

Wow amazing food and over the top service. This was our second choice tonight and we are so glad we came.

Vickie Bates

Food wad great, waiter was excellent. Took time to explain menu items. Refilled drinks quickly. Food was top notch with large portions. We will be back.

Sharon

Good food but no gluten free products.

Shequllia Welcome to Shaq's World Hannon

Love the atmosphere and the food

Ani H

The food is amazing! We had she crab soup and shrimp and grits! So delicious! The staff is fantastic as well! Friendly and welcoming!

Robert Burke

Absolutely amazing crabcakes and very romantic!

Bob Gard

Noisy, pricey, poor service, mediocre food. What's to like?

Laura Denunzio

I loved the outside patio that allowed me to take my pup with me and have a very good dinner. Food was outstanding

Molly Swan

This was a very disappointing experience. The service was extremely slow. I had to seek out my server’s attention because she was never around and when she was she was socializing with staff. We waited over 45 minutes for our food to come out (the restaurant was not very busy). While I was waiting for my food to arrive, I could see the cook dancing in the kitchen as if this was a party. The food was underwhelming. The food was way too salty!!! The fruit side dish I got had brown wilted pineapple chunks and mushy grapes. While we were there we overheard two other tables complain as well and ask to speak to the manager. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL. I would not recommend this place to anyone!

bryan devison

Great place to go for cocktails and great food. The meals are huge, you'll never go away hungry.

Krystle Hampton

Excellent service and excellent food. We will definitely visit again. The crab cakes and the split bbq chicken are both great. My husband said the steak was delicious. There's also a wide range of alcoholic beverages to choose from.

Cheryl S.C.

VERY over-priced, very limited menu. Steak had gristle throughout. Should have been much better for the price!!

Laurel Hoog

Beautiful restaurant and great food.

markiest sanders

Visiting from California and the service was horrible. Long time for food to arrive and hostess never mentioned inside seating was available at the bar as all other inside tables were reserved. Heard a lot of good things about Telford but wasn't impressed

Wen Coutts

Charming patio and atmosphere. Had a good bottle of wine and a salad.

Brian Avery

The location is great, right in the market strip downtown. Sit outside if you can. Service was poor. Steak ordered medium rare came out well done - for a seafood and steak place, that’s disappointing. Possibly better for dinner than for lunch, unless you’re sticking with sandwiches.

Kathy Tripp

The crab cake is fabulous.

Anthony Persiani

Don't waste your time.... Food was bland and has no flavor, ordered shrimp, greens, and grits. Greens had no flavor like they were boiled in plain water and served.. Shrimp were good. But a Little overdone, the grits had no salt. At. All in them, fried hard and Luke warm not appetizing at all the sauce on 5he top of it all tasted like thickened chicken stock plain with cherry tomatoes cooked and placed on top. My wife ordered the 8oz filet with fried potatoes and Mac and cheese the filet was cooked correctly but with no salt or pepper so just plain . What a waste of such a. Good cut, ok so on to the "fried" potatoes That where Fried so hard they were almost clear in side. And again no flavor just the flavor of over cooked oil. The lastly the Mac and Cheese is craft Mac and cheese like with melted cheese on top... The check was over 140 with 2 drinks, appetizers, and two entrées ... Way over priced .. Please do your self a favor and go to another restaurant ..... It will save your night...

John Leak

Don’t waste your time with the seafood linguine, I was served 5 shrimp and 2 baby clams in my dish for $30. Walked down the street afterwards for a slice of pizza.

Pamela Ryan

Happy hour is a bargain here. The bar is Tiny But cozy and intimate. Great service good snacks and reasonably priced drinks.

We loved our lunch at Beldord's. Classy atmosphere but not stuffy, perfect drinks/local beer, and a delicious lunch. Brian, our waiter, was pleasant and efficient. Located in the City Market area of Savannah so close to everything.

We hosted our office holiday dinner at Belford's and were not disappointed. Food and drinks were delicious. Bianka and Morgan helped coordinate the event. Stephen, Lawanda and Jordan were our servers. Everyone was amazing! Thank you SO much!

Food was out of this world!

At this price point you HAVE to get it right. My first steak brought out was not only the wrong cut, it was way over cooked, I don't usually send food back, but at $55 if its not right...it's going back. Second steak right cut, over cooked again! After having to wait 15 min. Sides patatoe and creamed spinach were mediocre at best. Very disappointed, I would not recommend this steak house, there are others to choose.

The shrimp and grits and the fillet mignon were delicious, best food we had all weekend in Savannah

Ashley Simmons

The fish and chips was great

Rick Eason

Great atmosphere, impeccable service, shrimp and grits so good!

She Crab Soup was cold, Sountern dew tasted like it had Coconut perfume oil in it. Shrimp and Grits had no flavor at all. Tasted like melted snot at best.

Great Easter dinner outside on their great for people watching patio. Husband had the wedge salad, I had the arugula with strawberries and goat chrech. Only complaint, a little heavy on the salad dressing. He loved his short rib entree, cooked perfect and very generous portion. Really enjoyed my halibut with risotto and broccolini. Me dog was also treated very well with his own personal dog bowl and doggie treats.

My husband and I came here to celebrate his birthday. The food was excellent, the ambiance was lovely, and the service was great. We’ll be back!

The food and service (we had George) was wonderful! We had kale salad for an appetizer followed by the shrimp and grits for our main course. I don't brag on food often but It was so tasty I ate until I almost popped! It is such a lovely spot, nestled in the middle of the market which is very lively! I would say this place is a MUST while visiting!

Rhonda Robinson

This was seriously my favorite place to eat while in Savannah!

Carli S

Great atmosphere, but over priced for what it is. Disappointed in our meal. Loaded with garlic to cover the amature cooking. Grab the mints when you go.

Enjoy a good time there for dinner on st. Patrick day Sunday

The filet mignon with Bernaise sauce was the best dish I've had in a long time. Paired perfectly with gouda mac n' cheese and broccollini....

Crab cake lovers are in for a treat! Meat eaters, so are you!! Bring your appetite or pick one up at the door. <3 I doubt you will have any left overs. Go see for yourself, you'll be glad you did! (:

Our group had reservations for 7pm. We were sat a few minutes prior and we were anticipating a great dinner (we've had good experiences there before.) While it took a while to be recognized, our server was pleasant. The drinks were a little slow coming out but the appetizers were delivered soon thereafter. We ordered our entrees and it took forever for them to come out. After tracking down our server and later talking to a manager, we got our food at 8:24. To top it off the food was cool to lukewarm. The only reason this review isn't a one star is that the manager comped the full meal & drinks. Due to the poor service, the way it was handled, and the unsatisfactory food we won't be coming back anytime soon

Paul S

We had a great experience here and delicious food. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and polite.

So nice to sit outdoors after a long winter. Set on a public plaza, enjoyed the lively atmosphere and Sunday brunch menu. The omelette was delicious, as were the biscuits. Bloody Mary was perfect, also have a great local beer selection. Exactly what we wanted!

I'm a local here in Savannah. My fiance and I stop in for dinner, I ordered the 55 dollar ribeye. Now this ribeye was by no way a 55 dollar steak. Steak was thin as paper and had a massive amount of fat on it. Also ordered medium rare and came medium. I don't ever send food back but made are waitress aware. She said let me talk to the manager and at least get you a free drink. Well she waited for manager for over 10 minutes he never came to her. Very disappointed in quality of this place especially when it comes to the cost!
