Here you will be able to see all the feddbacks of people like you who are purchasing the services of Atmosphere Restaurant (Restaurant) in Georgia.
As of day this firm receives a score of 4.5 stars out of 5 and that rating has been calculated on 209 reviews.
As you can see its rating is basically the highest, and it's founded on a high number of feddbacks, so we may say that the rating is quite accurate. If there are many people who bothered to leave their review when they've done well with the business, is that it works.
As you know, we do not usually stop to give reviews when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Restaurant is included in the category of French restaurant.
Amazin. Escargot and lamb tenderloins were out of this world. I ate at the bar since I was alone. Bartender couldn't have been nicer. Definitely recommend.
We sat outside, slow to get a waiter, however once we did, and ordered we were hammered by the food selection. The quality of food and drink deserves 5 stars, will be back soon and sit inside this time.
Atmosphere definitely has "atmosphere." It is a quiet, comfortable, and cozy place to dine. The food was delicately prepared. The endive salad and trout dish were delicious. The wine list is broad with some very reasonably priced selections. An Atlanta gem!
Romantic setting, delicious menu
Everything was absolutely delicious, service was very good, and it has a nice, cozy atmosphere.
luxurious french food balanced by southern hospitality in a bucolic city setting.
The best French restaurant in Atlanta
Wonderful food.
Great French restaurant. Perfect for my Valentine's day date! Small, but cozy and the low lighting truly created the perfect romantic setting.
I enjoy the great food and no pretense environment. Great food, great staff, and just great everything. My compliments to the Chef!
Very Americanized French Restaurant with only American cheese, no quiche, only one type of bread which is somewhat akin to brioche.
This is really an excellent place to eat. Not cheap, but worth every penny. The food is very well prepared and the service is great.
Food is genuinely good. We caught them on a bad night when they were short staffed. My only qualm is that a quality French restaurant should train the servers in the intricacies of French service etiquette for a more authentic experience. This obviously is secondary to serving wonderful food, which atmosphere does. We will be back!
I was blown away. Loved the food and ambiance ! Wow. Hands down one of the best restaurants in ATL.
A wonderful evening and meal
The short version? This is absolutely the BEST food I've ever had. Everything was perfect, from being greeted as soon as my husband and I walked in the door through dessert. This is a perfect place for a romantic, intimate date night. The scallops were absolute perfection, the beef filet was heavenly, escargot was decadent, and specialty coffees were perfectly balanced. This is the first time ever that I finished a meal with no leftovers to take home - it was just that superior! I've just found my new favorite eatery. To Steven, Chef Adam, and all of the staff that attended to us tonight, you made our long overdue date night an absolute dream come true. We look forward to seeing you again VERY soon!
Great food, but the wine markups are crazy high (3+X) for most wines as is the corkage fee. I have also found that I have been mischarged (overcharged) for a bottle of wine compared to the menu price the last 3 times I have been there. This seems like more than an accident with the consistency of occurrence. Make sure to check the bill. Otherwise, I really love this place and their food and bread. Just wish they would improve the wine markups and policies.
Atmosphere is a prime example of "fine dining". It doesn't get much better.
Wonderful food, beautiful atmosphere, and great service.
Love it!
Love it.
Genuine place you feel like you are in Paris
Wonderful Sunday brunch. Check it out.
Exceptional food and service. You get what you pay for. Highly recommend.
Service was good.
All they have is a French name...
Enjoyed our dinner here! We tried quite a few things, the way beef appetizer was really fresh and juicy. Everything was great. But not used to the taste of the French onion soup here. The service was great and attentive. Since the restaurant was in a house, you will be seated in small rooms without a big crowd.
Food was excellent. Decent portion sizes for a French restaurant. I assume the meat was prepared sous-vide; it was absolutely perfect. Cheese platter and wine selection is ample and diverse.
Great spot. Nice ambiance
Excellent, fine food. Try the escargot, Fish and beef too. Service is very good. Welcoming and not pretentious. Deep wallet required: about $200 for 2 inc. a cocktail and relatively modest wine.
Great good and the owners are very nice.
Very cute place...for an intimate meal...
Good lunch. Fast and friendly service. Not too expensive.
Marvelous food, lovely atmosphere, friendly service, outdoor seating
Good brunch, pricey.
Good service. Pleasant ambiance, but the onion soup was just very salty and the delicious mussels were teeny, tiny. Trout and steak was perfectly cooked.
Shared Valentine's day dinner here with my wife...food was very good and the "atmosphere" was pleasant. A bit over-priced for the "special occasion limited menu."
Lamb was delish. Everything was wonderful!
Went for a wine tasting and it was excellent
Very cozy French place. Wine tasting is fun there.
I like the small restaurant here. The service was attentive and the food excellent. I attended one of their tastings and it was well worth the price.
One of the better restaurants to go for a perfect french lunch or dinner. Great selection of wines, food, and a cozy atmosphere.
Lovely authentic French restaurant! Great food and impeccable service! We especially enjoyed the pâté de foie gras de canard, steak frites, and salmon. Kiki sent over a complimentary crème brûlée for our 1 year anniversary! Looking forward to returning already for another fabulous meal!
Food was good, service was slow and pushy. Server was vocal about being annoyed that we ordered sparkling water instead of alcohol and no dessert.
Superb French cuisine. Lots of variety of choices, seasonal items and specials. Very friendly and attentive service. Ambiance that allows you to talk over your meal without having to shout.
It was great! We went for lunch on the New South Culinary event on Friday. I had the Beet Salad, Salmon Salad, and Creme Brulee. The Beet Salad had thin beet slices over hollandaise sauce, topped with walnuts, apple slivers, and parmesan(?) cheese. Having never combined any of those items, I was pleasantly surprised at how well they went together. The Salmon Salad had a good-sized piece of salmon alongside mixed greens, goat's cheese, and marinated tomatoes. The salmon was cooked perfectly, and seasoned to compliment the goat's cheese in the salad. For the first two coarses, my partner got the white bean soup (the soup du jour) and hanger steak. Both were delicious, but upon comparison, we agreed that my picks were better. We both got the Creme Brulee though, and I'm glad since we might've been hesitant to share bites If we hadn't! It had a beautiful layer of caramelized sugar, and the custard was so smooth and creamy I found myself pausing between bites to savor it. The restaurant was quiet for lunch with soft background music. The decor had a warm, happy feel to it with yellow throughout the rooms we were in. Our server was attentive and friendly. We spent a little more than an hour in the restaurant.
Excellent food and service. The wine list is very good but not inexpensive. Note - The kitchen closes at 3 on Sunday for brunch so if you want a long lingering meal you should go early.
Food was really good and the have half price bottles of wine on Tuesdays
This place is great. Comfortable, cozy, friendly and consistent. Great food, great wine, great service.
A truly great atmosphere. The ambience is exactly what is was looking for. Ben was wronderful with great suggestion and very friendly. The food was delicieuse and perfectly portioned. That was a perfect dinner date.
The food and ambiance were great. The chef did a great job and the chic outdoor patio was pleasant on a beautiful fall morning. The only reason I give this place 3 stars is the service. The waiter was curt to say the least and apparently was in no mood to provide any service much less a good one. He was barely around to take orders so expecting recommendations from him was probably too much. His take on the daily specials was what you did NOT get vs what you did. His idea of checking-in is a question as he walks past the table hardly interested in the answer. You go to an upscale restaurant for the food AND the service. In this case, the latter was a concept lost on this gentleman.
Wine tasting
Great food, great service.
This small house near the botanical garden has been transformed into an intimate French restaurant with great food and a nice wine selection. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable on the cuisine and they provide very good service.
Award winning escargot! Excellent staff and service. No way to improve.
The food and service are excellent. Had a great brunch here, and look forward to going back in the near future.
Had a pretty good beat salad and some delicious mussels while listening to some long-forgotten 80's tunes, which was somewhat surprising given the romantic, cozy setting of this upscale Frehch restaurant. In an old house off of Piedmont, it is probably best recognized by it's lovely outdoor patio which neighbor's the infamous Smith's Olde Bar. The wine selection has some nice French wine that my colleagues from France were surprised to see served here in the US at a lower price than in Paris!
The food was absolutely spectacular. I had never ordered duck before but I am so glad I did. Can't wait to go back ASAP!
Totally enjoyed it!
Like Paris--from the unfriendly, snooty host, to the French speaking nearby tables and waiter(who was kind enough to converse with our French student), to well prepared appetizers, nicely presented and tasty entrees served in a cozy bistro setting. The mussels were nice, though they wrestled with a heavy cream preparation. Nevertheless, this place is worth a visit. Do your own wine pairings though--cheaper and likely better. Parking in back.
Food was good. Waiters need to slow down and pay attention, I almost got ran into twice by a waiter carrying high chairs and then some one dropped a bunch of trays and it was ridiculously loud.
Great French restaurant
So many better options. Would not call this French food.
Still the best "French" restaurant in Atlanta. The duck confit is as good as Tour d'Argent in Paris.
I am from France... This is not French by atmosphere and food taste for sure. All positive reviews made by people who have no idea what French cuisine is or made up to attract you. Plus, thhis place has a mold. So, if you suffer with allergies, do not step in. Wine is overpriced two times. There is only one French restaurant in Atlanta which is closer to real cuisine. It is Eugene restaurant on Peachtree street. PERIOD! .
Oh so good! We had the onion soup, lamb, and duck confit, followed by lemon sorbet with Grey Goose vodka...OMG! All was delicious. Lovely service and atmosphere. Why did we wait so long to try this neighborhood place? Heading back soon!
Truly great atmosphere.. perfect for a romantic date. Quality traditional French cuisine
It's always fabulous!!!!!!!!
Great food and service. Best French restaurant in Atlanta.
I've had Steaks all over the U.S. at over 100 different restaurants. I can't remember any of them except for the always flawless delicious Hanger Steak I get from Atmosphere. We drive over an hour, from NE GA. about twice a month to eat there. Brunch, Lunch or Dinner, is always perfect. The owners are as authentic and welcoming as the Names sake, Atmosphere.
I love this restaurant, owners are wonderful hosts and food is delicious. I always feel right at home. I also really appreciate the fact that it's not too noisy and I can enjoy a nice conversation while having a lovely meal! I love their $30 pre-fix menu, what a great value!! They also offer specialties from different France area from time to time. My absolute favorite are the escargots!!
not a french-french restaurant
Love the food here.
Great food, great ambiance. I would advise to have a reservation.
As a Frenchman I was very happy with this place. The staff was fine, the food was authentic. The bread was lacking and the butter was salted and of poor quality which was disappointing. The Creme Brule was lacking as well but the coffee and other desserts were amazing.
Fine place for quality french food. Certainly worth a return visit. The place has a great atmosphere. This place has many great reviews for a reason.
Great place for a quiet dinner and the food is wonderful.
Where do I start with the waiter that was obviously upset about his tip! Doesn't he know tips are earned and "COMPLIMENTARY" first he offended the Birthday girl by rudely correcting her french. Then he came out with the food cold and over a hour and a half after we placed our orders (only 4 people) Then my order came out with a Cheese topping which we all told him "in English" that I was allergic to milk and did not want any cheese on my Sandwich. As soon as he brought it out I noticed it and told him that didn't want any cheese. I worked with him on him just replacing the top of the Sandwich with another piece of toasted bread he replied fine and that he was sorry about the mistake and he told the chef no cheese. So I waited for another 15 minutes for the bread "WHICH WASNT TOASTED" COLD AND HARD.... I had decided prior to him bringing it out to just eat my sandwich the way it was since we were all hungry after the long wait. So when he came out with the single slice of bread he said that he was told by the chef to "CHARGE ME $3" for the piece of bread! Now I don't know if I was more offended by the outrageous price of the single slice or untoasted bread or the point of me having to pay for their mistake???? So no he didn't deserve a tip from me. The table left him a tip anyway and he stopped us before leaving and asked us why we only gave him a small amount for the tip..... $15 the audacity of this guy wow smh. Never again will we go here.
Amazing
The food was incredible!!! Higly recommend the salmon!
Was fine but, worth the extra 4 mins drive to Buckhead to go to Anis instead.
like the name, WOnderful atmosphere
Best French restaurant PERIOD. You even get the French attitude. Don’t go here if you want to be treated like a gentle snowflake, Americans. I go here for the TRUE French experience.
Very nice authentic French bistro menu. Well prepared and presented. Service was lively and professional. Men's toilet was dark and gross, not at all in keeping with the style and price point of this restaurant.
Wonderful dining place for two. Great ambience. Exquisite food.
Wife loves the place - we'll be back a few times.
Awesome staff
What a great p)ace!
delightful "atmosphere", especially when the wood burning fire is roaring. very french.
Authentic French Bistrot...Great service and love the chef's recommendations
Amazing cuisine and an amazing waitress in Katie who gave great recommendations. She also gave my wife a special cocktail based off of what she likes and it was amazing
Took my girlfriend here for our anniversary and I loved it. I had the sirloin steak and it melted in my mouth. She had the lamb and it was roasted to perfection. Wait staff was nice. It was pricey but worth it. I totally recommend this place for a special occasion.
Such an enjoyable experience. I didn't feel compelled to rush eating my food. I enjoyed the flavors!! They serve omletes for lunch which is cool!! Music is not too loud!! If any guy wants me to dine them here, you gotta really pour your heart out!!
I surprised my beautiful wife with Valentines dinner here! Usually we go for the fancy steakhouse or Italian restaurant. This year? French was on the menu and everything I read about Atmosphere convinced me it would be a fantastic choice for such an event. Sure enough, it was fantastic! From the ambiance to the friendly and knowledgeable waiter who served us, things were off to a great start. The menu was set for the evening and you could pick 1 of 3 appetizers, main courses and desserts. I opted for the prosciutto goat cheese appetizer which was served with arugula and pine nuts. Let's just say I personally haven't acquired a real taste for goat cheese and it wasn't my favorite. My wife ordered the same and thought the cheese was a bit strong. From there on however, the rest of the food was fantastic, including the bread they serve! I ordered the orange duck which came with mashed potatoes and some carrots. It was my first time trying duck and it was amazing... It had the consistency of a really good filet mignon. Just a bit crispy on the outside from the quick sear they put on it and very tender and juicy on the inside. BIG FAN of this dish. My wife had the steak dish which was very good too. I went for a lemon sorbet in vodka dessert which was refreshing and palate cleansing and my wife had the fruit/chocolate dessert, I forget exactly what it was but she enjoyed it. This place was everything I expected and more. I will definitely return!
Gracious staff, great food all around. Escargot and fish standout.
Had a great bottle of wine here. Attentive and polite staff. The escargot was top notch. The rest of the meal was good.
This charming French restaurant is located in an old house off Piedmont. The menu, created by the French couple who runs it, offers traditional dishes made perfectly. Think escargot cooked in butter garlic and mussels in a white wine broth that you want to suck down with a straw. If you aren't familiar with French wines, ask for a suggestion based on what you like. There's patio seating in warmer months and fantastic prix-fix deals for lunch and dinner. Complimentary valet is on the left side of the building. #Ansley #French #Restaurant #BonAppetit
Comfortable setting, attentive service, excellent, authentic foods. Excellent foi gras.
Excellent wine, especially when half off during the week. Great food. Had the trout - perfectly cooked.
The best French bistro in Atlanta
Excellence Those that complain about this place are swine and should eat at McDonalds with their snotty little brats.
A trip to Atmosphere is worth it just for the bread alone! The food here is truly exceptional. Highly recommend the Coq Au Vin and if the Cassoulet is ever on the menu don't hesitate to order it. My wife and I are always surprised this place is not busier as it is outstanding.
Excellent upscale french food within a cosy atmosphere, perfect to talk (and sweet talk) to you loved one, while enjoying a great culinary experience.
Good food, a bit HIGH priced;-(
Great Service
A quaint little French restaurant. I was impressed.
Went for Christmas Eve and the prefixed menu was half and half...two people liked the entree two people didn’t. The foie gras was very bad. Hard no flavor. The scallops were good though. Salad was yummy. The goose was good. Mashed potatoes were super dry. Venison was ok, again potatoes dry. Lobster was good. Pilaf was not. Crab almost made one of our group get sick. Dessert tasted out of a box. Not good at all. Wine was very good. Honestly there are better restaurants in Atlanta. Don’t waste your time here....seriously. Just not good.
On a smaller scale this bistro reminds me of The Ivy in Beverly Hills. I thought the food was prepared very nicely. Presented nicely. Service is prompt and attentive. Interior space is inviting and cozy. The patio is fun and French!
The food and service are always excellent. Love the trout almondin. Great spot for lunch as it's quiet so you can relax and hear yourselves talk.
Sublime. Yes, that is the perfect word for our scrumptious meal! Atmoshere has become a regular destination for family events demanding fine cuisine, most recently, my birthday. I've never had anything close to a questionable bite here, but I highly recommend my perfect birthday meal - the escargot App'y, mussels entre and the gourmands desert assortment with expresso. In summary, Atmosphere offers wonderful French cuisine in a quaint and comfortable setting with excellent service!
Good food, unimaginative menu, ok service
Nice servers, and delicious entree's and appetizers. Perfect for date night.
Great!@!
Delicious
What I especially like that it's the only place around where you can sit in a quiet conversation, without screaming at the people around the table. The staff is great - a shout-out to Siegfried who is vastly overeducated for the job.
Very authentic and consistent French restaurant (and I lived there) with romantic atmosphere and outdoor seating!
Nice quaint atmosphere, great for a date. Very nice food and a clearly curated menu. Went with my friend and we enjoyed it but aren't "raving" Tuesdays are 1/2 off bottles of wine.
Very good food.
Saturday and Sunday brunch are especially nice.
Always consistently good food and great atmosphere!
french food, mmm, super good. I will be bringing friends next time. The place has a good feel to it. Food is like a place in Baltimore I liked.
Two glasses had lipstick dirt on them. We waited 60 minutes for the food (with our 3 kids starving). They brought the wrong wine (not the one we ordered). From a half-French family perspective, food was really mediocre. Only cheeses and charcuterie were acceptable. They never brought one of the appetizers we ordered (we were too tired to complain again). They apologized, and discounted $7 out of a $160 bill. They also gave us away one creme brulle with 5 spoons to share.......
Absolutely amazing! Food was great, it had a nice cozy environment! We heard great things and it surpassed our expectations. Portions were perfect, taste was delightful it was everything we wanted!
