Food: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Environment: 9/10 We came out here as a special dinner for our anniversary. The food was excellent. What I really can't get over was this ridiculously amazing cheesecake. Literally, the most delicious thing I've ever put in my mouth. Perhaps I can't blame the restaurant, but the only thing that really took me out of the experience was the smell of trash right as you approach the door. May have been the neighbors dumpster or something.
Aria is hands down one of the best dining experiences I've had in Atlanta. The pleasant experience begins with a phone call to confirm your reservation and see if you are celebrating anything. You know you are in for a treat when you walk in and see this place. You walk through a classy looking bar area, where the bartender is making delicious looking cocktails. Once you get through the bar area, you enter the dining room which is unbelievable. The main piece of art in the room is the chandelier in the middle of the room. Our server said that it was supposed to be a plant that was struck by lightning. Very cool. The wine list here has to be the best Atlanta has to offer. We took a good twenty minutes just trying to figure out which bottle to order. We finally decided on the Nanfre Valpolicella 2015. This was an Italian red that was so delicious we ordered a second bottle.
Great food and excellent service from the valet to the waiters. Excellent date night location or birthday celebration.
Super cool decor and a great selection of wine! The food is very good but a little overpriced for what you get.
Had an awesome evening! We had the sample menu dinner this time and Robert our server was very attentive, knowledgeable in all the meals and very patient with us. Being a Friday night, the house was full but they didnt miss a beat ensuring we were happy. All our meals were very delicious and our lemon ice cream desert was the perfect end to a beautiful night.
pricey but the food and environment were pretty top notch
Aria had a beautiful interior with a wait staff that cannot be outdone. They were attentive, informative and welcoming. The menu changes every day and our visit had a delicious variety of options which included baratta, Korean short ribs, seared duck breast and crab cakes. All of it was delicious and we look forward to going back!
If you are looking for an incredible meal in Buckhead away from the more frequented areas, Aria is your spot. The Braised Meats are the way to go! I had the Short-Rib, and it was lean with no fat and delicious. The portions are not large so be prepared to order a salad + entree if you have a big appetite. The drinks are also great so live it up and order it all if you can!
Fantastic atmosphere, wait staff was superb. The meal and it's pacing were fabulous. Never felt rushed or neglected. Celebrated my friend's 50th birthday there and I'm glad I chose this restaurant!
Every time I go here I have a great time and the staff is really nice, please keep up the good work.
Aria is a high end "continental" restaurant featuring seafood, steaks, chicken and other fare. Gerry Klaskala is the chef and the food is artistically inspired. The wine and cocktail list are excellent (if a little pricey) and the whole atmosphere is very cool. Service is impeccable. You should expect to drop at least $100 per person, more likely $150 if you have wine and/or cocktails with dinner. The decor was updated a few years back and went from "old lady" to "urban hipster" almost overnight.
Great food. I would highly recommend
Everything here is just perfect! It a super intimate setting, mouth watering food with excellent presentation, the staff is very knowledgeable, and the drinks are amazing!!
Awesome food. Exceptional service. Tremendous value for your $$$. Can't recommend highly enough!!
This is a cozy yet sexy place for a date. The service was friendly and professional yet casual. The food tasted good and the presentation was enticing. Good flavors, satisfying portions. The dim lighting set an intimate mood but the tables we're too close to talk about anything too personal. Luckily, the couple next to us were low talkers but the group of women behind us were not.
Wonderful evening...great food, great service!
Service was impeccable and the food and presentation outstanding. The only negative, ladies be careful wearing your heels coming in the front entrance of the restaurant, the stones have a gaping holes. We felt celebrated and will definitely dine here again. I would definitely recommend the short ribs for sure.
We discovered Aria only a year ago. This trip to ATL, we went to Aria twice in two days. The first was a group event of 6 people who have travelled from around the world to a professional society meeting. The second was a quiet dinner with a guest and my mum. Both evenings were a delight from gastronomic and service points of view. Our favourites remain the beef ribs and the chickpea fritters. New tasteful (even exquisite) discoveries this round include the trout and sea bass, as well as the tempura octopus. Of course, the "chocolate cheesecake" remains addictive. Great bottles include the Heredia Vina Tondonia Reserva 2012 and the Toro Pintia 2013. We will always come back to Aria when in the ATL area.
Been here a few times, great service and really good appetizers.
Simply fabulous. The service was perfect and the food, delicious. Treat your favorite person to dinner here!
Excellent from beginning to end. Quality matches cost. Awesome date night spot.
Thank you Stefano for such a great experience at your bar! First, sir you rocked that service well. Second, your menu suggestions were spot on. Third, genuinely wonderful hospitality
EWWWW WTH DID I JUST EAT!!EWWWWW
Top notch service! 5 star food.
Always great service. Pricy but you are buying quality. The foods here are professionally cooked!
Great short ribs. Great service.
This is my new favorite restaurant. If I ever own one, I would run it like this. The ambience is lovely. Even romántica! Bring a date !!!! Food is delicious !!! Seriously !!! I am considering coming back tomorrow There is a valet parking. Free !!! Tip them !!! Wine list !!! To die for .... Must try in Atlanta!!!!!
Took my wife out to kick off her birthday celebration. We go here early without a reservation and they still accommodated us. Made her feel like the queen she is and the food was awesome. Definitely reccommend.
I will give it a two star because of the server. The food was not that great overpriced an expensive spent over $200 in 2 plate of food and drinks and did not get full. I ordered the Scallop plate and I literally had three scallops with a little side of of cut up carrots $40 is it's not worth it and the scallops was over cook. I wouldn't spend my money there again.
Great food and service and drinks and dessert and we will be back!
The chefs tasting menu was incredible! Larger portions than I expected given the 7 course menu and each was excellent. Worth it
Aria is one of these locations about which one can't speak without excitement and somewhat trepidation. First of all this awesome Aria has anything to do with that sushi chain like known in Chicago and few other places. This place is absolutely authentic, food is inventive, very memorable, wine selection is superb. The champagne selection is a symphony. Every time we spend a night here it's a time of pure pleasure. In my opinion this restaurant would greatly benefit from life violin or Spanish guitar player. The place is justifiably expensive.
One of the most elegant eatery's in Atlanta that my wife and I have had the pleasure of dining at. The wine selection is sure to impress.
We had the set menu and it was one of the finest we have had. The wine pairing was perfect, quantity just sufficient enough that you can actually enjoy all the courses. All the dishes very unique and presented in a very appealing way. For such a fancy high end restaurant, the service was remarkable amazing and staff extremely friendly, a rare thing these days. Overall I highly recommend this place, especially their lobster tail.
Very nice atmosphere! The scallops were so delicious and buttery. You must have the cheesecake if you go....smooth, creamy, and decadent! That cheesecake is the reason I will be a repeat customer.
Very nice and quiet ambiance
This is one of my top favorite restaurants! It is cozy & classy! They keep the lights dim, super romantic! Their food is AMAZING! I tried the octopus for the first time in my life and LOVED it! Presentation of the food is beautiful. The dessert: vanilla panna cotta, bing cherries, lemon sorbet, almond shortbread...WOW... The service was great! Can't wait to go back.
Food and service are worth the visit.
Beautiful restaurant with wonderful staff , was in Atlanta for vacation and stop for dinner ! A little pricy but excellent service !!!
Magnificent dining experience. Delicious, exquisitely prepared food, a fine ambiance, and perfect service.
The dishes are elegant yet approachable, like taking things like a crab cake or pork shoulder to the next level. It's a bit outside it's competitors southern tendencies but not too outside. It will be one of your more technically well done dishes, but other restaurants may be more creative with their menu. Our service though was outstanding. Knowledgeable without being pretentious.
This is definitely the best restaurant in Atlanta to celebrate any occasion. The food and the service are perfect. Every time I went there, the servers were so attentive to my needs. They have the best scallops with decent prices for their food. Highly recommended!
Great place for romantic dinner! Great food and wine selection.
Is it a kids friendly restaurant? I felt it’s not. Food is good but not family friendly.
This has to be my favorite restaurant as of yet discovered. The atmosphere is calm and quite fancy, the lights in this place simply say it all. The food is absolutely delicious, I ordered so many things off the menu and I couldn't tell you which one I loved more than the other. I highly recommend this gem to everyone, just the customer service alone will leave you wanting to come back.
The mood is definitely set here. Romantic and cozy. Good and wine. Perfecto!
Outstanding experience from beginning to end. We enjoyed the tasting menu and wine pairing and every course was delicious!
Aria is hands down the most amazing restaurant! They went above and beyond by working with my now fiancé to help with the proposal of a lifetime! The hostess, manager, and waiters were all in on the surprise, and made it a night we will never forget! Not to mention, the food and wine was incredible! Can't wait to come back for our anniversary :)
Excellence service! Food options were limited, but still good.
Aria exceeded my expectations. The crab cake appetizer was excellent.
Great place, must visit. Expensive but well worth it.
Absolutely delicious food and great service. We did the 7-course tasting menu and the chef was kind enough to accommodate any non-vegetarians. Highlights were the celery root soup, the lobster and the scallop! Ambiance is awesome too v
Aria is among the very best dinner spots in Atlanta. Cuisine, ambiance and impeccable service combine to make for a special evening.
We went to Aria to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. It was our first time there and while it was good I was expecting the menu to be a little more interesting. We both enjoyed our entrees but I was a little underwhelmed by the options. We ordered extra toast for the left over cheese from the appetizer which took a little longer than was expected. At the suggestion of our waiter, we ordered the homemade Cheesecake for dessert and it was exquisite. The next time we go we may order the tasting menu to see if that's where Aria stands out. The service was exceptional.
Great food and wonderful staff.
The food was excellent, the service the very besr, and the atmosphere very pleasant. This is a great special occassion restaurant, or a place to treat ones self for no reason at all.
Food was mediocre. Service was great!! The sorbet is to die for!!
This place was beyond what I expected the service was wonderful and very elegant if you want to bring a lovely lady there I highly recommend coming here at least once a week the food was mouth watering this restaurant is beyond 5 stars prices are reasonable the atmosphere is so romantic if I'm ever up in the Georgia area again I definitely recommend stopping there because I will this place is a little piece of heaven I had the scallops and I was begging for more my mouth was screaming for more I'm still thinking those scallops Best I Ever Had in conclusion just like to say thank you for an experience I will never forget
Such a cozy ambience! We had an opportunity to sample all of the appetizers and four entrees. But to top it off was the cocktails and deserts! My goodness!! Get that cheesecake and grilled pound cake. 5 star experience!!!
The food was so much better few years ago. Now it is ok, but not up to price and former name. Dined today; nothing was remarkable, not appetizer, main or desert. Most restaurants around have more delicious choices
Classy and very appealing place to eat. I ate you and the feeling was priceless. The price is well worth the experience.
Not a very good one. They are supposed to be a classy place to dine. They screwed up serving a lady in our party a fish trout entree with Mushrooms after specifically being told she was highly allergic in the worst way to mushrooms. A ambulance had to be called to take this lady to emergency at Grady hospital from severe upper respiratory and passing out issues. So much for a festive Christmas gathering of office staff and close friends of the very gracious dentist hosting this holiday dinner. Attention to detail and follow through and double checking the seating and meal serving order may have averted a very dangerous situation to start with. Hate to blame the entire restaurent serving staff, but what happened ruined the festive evening.
Food was good but could have been better for the price.
Very good and not horribly expensive. Expensive, yes, but not outrageous. With the large group that we had, we tried almost everything on the menu and we all enjoyed pretty much everything.
We ordered two dishes with black truffle as a star ingredient. In our company of four people none of us could not taste the truffle in either creation. The waiter was not helpful in this matter. Not worth the $12 small plate and $28 vegetarian main course prices, although the atmosphere was lovely and the service was otherwise great.
Lovely ambience, freshly approved menu and attentive staff. I am sure the bill was eye watering but my boss paid.
I want to start off by saying the food here was very very good. The service was spectacular. The only reason I bump a star off is that the food was so incredibly expensive that it made it completely not worth going. I fully understand fine dining and high end restaurants but you could easily go to any of the nearby high end restaurants and get a normal dinner size portion for the same price. My order was literally 3 scallops and a tiny bit of salad which costs $40. It was smaller than appetizer portions I've had at comparable restaurants. In short, the food was good but only go if either money is no object or you aren't hungry
Man I wish I could remember our server's name, but she was fantastic in both her knowledge of the menu and her attention to my wife and I. The food was equally fantastic. She had the osso buco and definitely won the title of best entree, but my duck was also awesome. Don't be afraid to have some duck liver pate!
Service was impeccable and the food and presentation outstanding. The only negative, ladies be careful wearing your heels coming in the front entrance of the restaurant, the stones have a gaping holes. We felt celebrated and will definitely dine here again. I would definitely recommend the short ribs for sure.
Perfection. In every way. Our favorite special occasion place. Totally relaxed elegance. The food is divine. The service is unparalleled.
Did the bar tasting menu for a special occasion. The pacing and pairings were great and the food was very good, approaching excellent. I'd even say a great value for such a high level of execution.
Bland food...nothing special. Great presentation and ambience
Delish! Always exquiste, 5-star cuisine. Great for a romantic date night or anniversary.
Delicious food accompanied by impeccable, hospitable service. I can’t comment on their wine, but their cocktail game is on point. One of the best restaurants at which I’ve dined in quite some time.
This place is magical, excellent food, friendly staff, great ambience. The duck is a must try ....
Great service. Small, small shareable plates. Delicious desserts. Incredibly loud. It felt like a roar all night long. Very attentive. Great wine selection.
Love this cozy place! And the deserts were top notch!
Service was impeccable and the food and presentation outstanding. The only negative, ladies be careful wearing your heels coming in the front entrance of the restaurant, the stones have a gaping holes. We felt celebrated and will definitely dine here again. I would definitely recommend the short ribs for sure.
The staff is extremely generous. They treat you with full respect and maturity. The atmosphere is very elegant. The food taste amazing and came out quick! I will be coming back to this place again!
Excellent, imaginative food present belt friendly and efficient wait staff
Delicious food just a little loud. Mostly the diners were being loud. Service and food was great just pricey.
Excellent food and service. Relatively quiet and comfortable dining room.
Excellent service, attentive servers, excellent food (tapas, main course, and dessert). They are attentive to food restrictions ( addressed discreetly and immediately), and are very accommodating. The main course was beautiful, with a wonderful balance of flavours; the lemon pound cake was a wonderful finish and paired with an espresso.
I'm not sure why some people are saying that this restaurant is overpriced. It costs the same as any other high end restaurant and we all know that you get what you pay for. Everything that we ordered was yummy and the services was great. The grilled tender beef in Korean bbq sauce and the yellowtail hamachi were great. The slow cooked pork was amazing. They even accommodated my two kids. This restaurant is a must visit.
Excellent service, food, and ambiance. Great place for special occasions.
A few days before my trip to Atlanta I did a bit of research and came across Aria, I cannot even begin to tell you how thrilled I am I was able to eat here. Out of all the places I have traveled(there are many) and out of all the places I've eaten(also many) this one easily hits my top 3(of all time)! The atmosphere was friendly yet fancy without feeling pretentious. The service was amazing and the food...I wish I had a better adjective to describe it but PHENOMENAL comes to mind! Phenomenal doesn't even come close to describing the food, it was an experience that I will treasure. If I ever come through Atlanta again it will be the first stop I make.
It was a bit underwhelming, the food was good, but nothing blew me away. Service could have been a bit better as well.
Service was impeccable and the food and presentation outstanding. The only negative, ladies be careful wearing your heels coming in the front entrance of the restaurant, the stones have a gaping holes. We felt celebrated and will definitely dine here again. I would definitely recommend the short ribs for sure.
Fun place to eat. Lots to choose from on the menu. The food is out of this world. The company I had that day was wonderful too! I am going back again and again.
Arguably one of the best restaurants in Atlanta. Excellent food, efficient but accessible wait staff, comfortable room. In Buckhead but not as frantic as other parts of the area. Yeah, it's expensive, but worthy of their price. You can have a good time there and leave happy. Nice.
Amazing food!!! So well seasoned and cooked to perfection! Our waiter suggested great wines to go with our meal. It was our anniversary and I truly enjoyed myself. Go!
Such a great place for a special occassion. Quality food with the most friendly staff. Loved all the fresh produce and beautiful plating. Really recommend the tasting menu, they were so kindly able to accommodate my husbands seafood allergy.
We came for a special Navy Federal private event, and it was SPECTACULAR! Each course was accompanied by a paired wine. The wine and food were tremendous! We'll be back!
Terribly disappointed. We had a reservation for Valentine's day and had to wait for a table. I won't fault the establishment for being crowded and noisy and our waitress did her best, but that is the limit of my positive impressions. The service was slow. The food portions were inadequate. The meal itself was mediocre and in no way shape or form worth the $95 prix fixe we paid. My husband and I will not be returning and we do not recommend.
We went here for a special anniversary dinner, and it was amazing. My wife and I did the tasting menu, and couldn't have made a better choice. Every dish was fantastic, the meal progressed beautifully, and the service was incredible. The sommelier helped us select a nice wine for the meal, and our server really helped make it a wonderful evening.
Love this restaurant! My husband and I have been coming here for over 13 years and they never disappoint. The ambiance is wonderful and the customer service is unmatched. Definitely my favorite restaurant.
There's just a wonderful staff who a great chef to lead them and a wonderful restaurant
Wonderful all around! Amazing food, great drinks and the service was efficient and friendly. My trout was out standing.. and the dessert. So good we had to get another to try
Food was exceptionally great. Great ambiance and beautiful decor. We enjoyed our food and wines with a party of 8 persons. Great over all experience and impeccable service.
Robert literally makes Aria the greatest dining experience that I've ever had. Aria is already hands down the best dining experience you'll have... the staff makes it Atlanta's greatest treat for anyone looking for something special... even if it's not a special occasion! If I could rate Aria 10 stars... I would!!!
Wow- so good. Get the chocolate cheesecake whatever you do.
The staff was amazing and attentive. The food was delicious, although they brought my salad with onions when I asked for them without, but no biggie. Our server gave my date and I great wine recommendations, too! The ambiance was perfect, and the desert was ridiculously good! I will definitely be back. :)
Top notch food and service. Still one of the best restaurants Atlanta has to offer. Wild mushroom soup and burratta were incredible.
The service, food, and mood at Aria was perfect for my wife and I. The food was wonderfully prepared and definitely showed some fine skills. The only issue we had was an artichoke salad where the artichokes seemed to be the third ingredient BUT the salad was still very enjoyable and well executed. So when the only thing you can say is a misstep was a hit, well, that is a good thing!
We went to Aria for our 10th wedding anniversary. The drinks and appetizers were exceptional. When my entree arrived, the duck, which I ordered medium, arrived with chewy, inedible skin. My husband mentioned it to the waiter, and he told us that’s how duck served medium is cooked. First of all, no. It’s not. Anyone who has ever had duck made properly, would be appalled that a restaurant, especially of this caliber would call that normal. Furthermore, by being rude, the waiter ruined what was supposed to be a very special dinner. So disappointing. We’ve been to restaurants all over the world, and have never been treated like that.
This was an excellent dining experience. The food and service was amazing. One of the best restaurants I've dined at in Atlanta! We had dined the previous week at Staple House and Aria was so much better!
Everything was quite good, but not as good as the price and reviews would lead you to believe. A great choice for making a big impression but if you are in it for the food Atlanta has much better restaurants.
My 1st time here for my birthday and everything was amazing. Food was good. The atmosphere was good and I enjoyed my waiter.
Great spot for a romantic date. Atmosphere was fantastic. Lighting was low. It was very cozy. The service and food were both impeccable. Highly recommend.
Service was great, very attentive. Was early for reservation and was given nice seat close to the bar where we were given a menus to order drinks and appetizers. Seated rite on time. Waitress very nice and patient. Drinks were ok. Meals were small. Dinner entries small. Ordered the mountain trout was actually enjoying it then about half way through I took a bite and it was filled with little tiny bones. Needless to say that was my last bite. Do it will have to be a noooo. The desert was great. My favorite for the nite.
Absolutely incredible restaurant. We loved every part of our meal from beginning to end. Lovely service, wonderful atmosphere, and exquisite food. We will definitely be back.
We each ordered the 7 course tasting meal and the first 6 courses were AMAZING. Dessert was just really disappointing, as though the kitchen had just put *something* out. I would still order the tasting menu again I just would ask what dessert was first. Also I do wish that there were some way to tone down the noise. We won't go again on the weekend, it's just too loud for us
Delicious food and excellent service! My favorite dish was the scallops--they melted in my mouth. My husband's favorite dish was the crab cakes.
Up from Savannah and had a wonderful meal last night at Aria. The lamb loin was succulent and tender and cooked to perfection. It was accompanied by a creamy potato mash, wild mushrooms and snow peas. My guest had red snapper also cooked to buttery perfection. Chef Gerry Klaskala has a deft touch and oversees the operations personally. Over the course of its 20-year history—Under his leadership—Aria has become regarded as one of the most prestigious restaurants in a city that has a lot of places to get a meal. If you have not been to Aria, go. If you have been, you know what I mean.
Great attentive service but pacing was glacial and food was just ok. Undercooked lobster that steak knife had trouble cutting. Very expensive with small portions. Would not recommend.
It was very nice, great atmosphere and service. I had the 4 course meal, and it was all scrumptious!!! I was a bit skeptical because you have yo order all at once from appetizer and entree. I had these and I was not dissapointed, great place to go on a date or with a large group, to celebrate a birthday, anniversary or just any ocassion. They have valet and you do have to make reservations. 5 stars all the way and I will be coming back.
Great food, nice classy ambiance, great service. My wife and I loved it there. Highly recommended.
fantastic prix fixe menu
I took my wife her for our anniversary, and the experience was fantastic. The food was delicious, out of this world. We had one small issue (I won't post details) but the staff along with management blew us away with the way they handle it and made us feel truly special. I would post 6 stars if I could!
Great customer service and great food.
Food and service was amazing
My wife saved up money in order to take me out to Aria for my birthday. We had a confirmed reservation a week in advance but Aria decided to cancel the reservation and rent the place out for a private event. Nice and classy.
Loved the foia gras
Service was very good. Felt like this was catered towards a much much older crowd (and I’m 41). We did a dinner tasting consisting of 7 courses. Food was very good but pretty much the smallest portion you could imagine. Definitely a lot of time gaps between courses as the restaurant got busy they kind of lost it. And in my personal opinion I would have skipped the liver (Foie gras, look up how it’s prepared... gross). All in all it was a nice spot but definitely far over priced for the product.
The atmosphere is modern and nice although the tables by the bar are kind of dark and seem to be a little removed from the main dining room. The service was good and the food was tasty. Perfect environment for a date as the ambiance is spunky yet quiet enough to enjoy a conversation.
Delicious menu - very professional staff.
Service was impeccable and the food and presentation outstanding. The only negative, ladies be careful wearing your heels coming in the front entrance of the restaurant, the stones have a gaping holes. We felt celebrated and will definitely dine here again. I would definitely recommend the short ribs for sure.
Loved it! Food was excellent, waitress did an awesome job. One of the best restaurants in Atlanta
THE best gimlet in Atlanta. The food, service, atmosphere is outstanding. We celebrate every birthday, anniversary here...and sneak on a few other dinners here when we can.
Delicious!! The food is amazing. Kim was awesome and had great suggestions. Even the bread was fantastic! Parking is tight, but they have complimentary valet service for that reason. Will definitely return.
I went to the Aria Restaurant with my wife for our anniversary, we absolutely loved it. The atmosphere is spectacular, not to mention the food is great. Will definitely be back.
Maybe it was our fault for having high expectations, but our experience was unsatisfactory. We had the tasting menu and were disappointed by the mediocre dishes. Definitely not worth the price we were paying. Our server also seemed to have an attitude with us. Can't see us returning here.
Fantastic all around. The service was impeccable but not hovering. Every dish was delicious and well portioned. Expansive wine list. Limited seating so reservations are recommended.
Wonderful service, very professional from the hostess to the runners. I've yet to have any kind of negative experience here and have always been accommodated for graciously. This place is a real treat.
One of my preferred locations for american food. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. This place has a great atmosphere.
Excellent food. Excellent service.
Great atmosphere and food.
Short Ribs and Crab salad were amazing! Not a fan of the warm cheesecake desert though... Excellent Service!
