Not firing on all cylinders yet. Friendly hostess and bar staff. The short rib was a highlight. The bouillabaisse was not. Reservation was delayed 30 min. Service was slow and disconnected. And for a French restaraunt to lack a cheese course is well, like a beautiful woman missing an eye, to quote Brillat-Savarin.

Exquisite food and lovely service in the hip side of town ! We were ag AIX for dinner with a group of four guests, all well traveled and exposed to French and international cuisine. We ordered a few different appetizers and entrees. Everyone was pleased and greatly impressed. Milan, our server, did a great job explaining the dishes and allowed us time to enjoy the evening without any pressure. We will be back soon! One suggestion for the managers: Would be nice to enjoy dinner on the patio that is being shared with the wine bar Tin Tin. Hope to see a brunch menu soon!

Amazing service at a gorgeous restaurant. Each dish is well cooked and the service is amazing. The staff is really nice and depending on your waiter, really funny/personable. Highly recommended French restaurant.

Beautiful restaurant, lovely bar and ambience. We enjoyed the food which is well prepared overall. I thought the artichoke Niçoise salad needed more acid or dressing and the bread was a bit dense, especially pan d’epi. Lamb was delicious as was the chicken. Service last night seemed a bit slow with long wait times between courses, clearing of the tables and receiving the check.

Man o man was it good! We had a lot of small plates and they were all delicious. Yeah, so they charged for bread........house made, with a compound butter that charges daily. Wow! Worth it! Soooo good! Great staff too! We’ll be back soon!

Nice place, great food, good atmosphere, had a horrible waitress last time but a nice and professional waiter this time, enjoyed the music they played, was there for my friends birthday and a little underwhelmed by their way of celebrating (one tiny lit candle planted by itself on the dessert plate..) I had the scallops with polenta as my main course, the presentation of all the food was wonderful, but my polenta was extremely salty.

Had dinner here for the first time recently with friends and we will all definitely be back. This is a fantastic addition to the Atlanta French food scene. Nowadays when you hear "farm to table," you wonder what hipster concoction you may be getting, but the Aix's modern, farm-to-table take on French food works perfectly and they have great portion sizes too so you can feel comfortable having multiple courses. I had the endives & chicories salad, AIX Bouillabaisse (which had some of the best fish I've ever tasted), and the pithiver. I would recommend every dish. They were perfect. As I'm not much for alcoholic drinks, I really appreciated they had non-alcoholic beverages beyond soda and iced tea. Try the tumeric cooler. It is light and refreshing with just a hint of tumeric. The service was excellent as well. Thanks to Richard for his on point suggestions and for taking care of our party.

I had an amazing experience at Aix. Very friendly staff and excellent service. The wine list is pretty large with lots of great options. I loved the Provençal Shrimp, and the bread that comes with a homemade butter! I will be back and will be bringing some friends!

This place crushed my expectations. Amazing well attentive service that makes one feel like they are the only table in the room, without suffocating the guest. Well thought out dishes with beautiful plating. Our server Craig was exceptional and Pat a manager/sommelier was so nice to help my girlfriend pick out a perfect desert wine. Overall the staff was able to put on 5 star charms, while making us feel at ease all evening.

Lots of glitz. Mediocre food. If you want to feel cool because you spent a lot of money on "french" food then this is the perfect place for you. No really, there is a place for restaurants like this. Come from the suburbs and feel cool, it's ok. . It's a nice place. But if you are a true foodie you will be sorely disappointed. We had several of the small bites at TinTin and boy... The foi gras was a scam. I ate several pieces and tried and tried to taste any goose liver in it and failed. Was just like a pat of butter. The steak tartar was similar. (I have had steak tartar prepared by a real Tartar) incredibly tasteless. The scallops: totally tasteless. The salmon was good but that because it's hard to mess up salmon. I have been to Aix in France and the food is way better than this. Anyway. If you want to go to an ultra cool in-town place so you can spend a lot of money on mediocre food this is the perfect place. I recommend going for drinks. The cocktails and beer are nice. Service was impeccable.

I’ve tried chicken livers, endive salad, foie gras, short rib. Terrible. All of it. Foie gras was ruined. Got good ingredients? Leave them alone. Too much effort went into this food. Leeks were tempura fries. Absolutely disgusting. Huge disappointment. Over-palatable, overly sweet and pretentious.
