The staff here is excellent. Hostess at the front was so warm and accommodating. Our waiter Taylor was helpful and offered us great choices. He even brought out a cake when he heard my friends talking abt my birthday. The food was absolutely delicious. I would recommend the dip, corn bread (great presentation with that), pork chops and cavatelli. Drinks were also strong but yummy.

Joined some freinds and had a couple cocktails, the staff was freindly and helpful. We then decided to have dinner and the I ordered crab cakes with green apple slaw & french fries. It was very tasty I recommend the dish. And a plus was that we could actually have a conversation.

Love the ambience...a good date night spot to go for the evening. The calamari was delectable...something different from what I've tried in the past. The roasted bone marrow from Beef Two ways is tantamount to eating salt. Same goes for the Rotisserie Greek chicken. The Today's Fresh Fish, trout, was excellent. Fresh and well seasoned...a must try. The grilled artichoke was just Ok. Overall, the food was not that great.

Overall it was good. I'd say a 3.5. they cannot be bothered to list drinks which don't have alcohol and getting a staff member to let you know what was offered was like pulling teeth. I ended up just drinking water. The chip appetizer was ok but nothing stellar, if you get it definitely use the line or it is oddly sweet. The roasted chicken was fabulous and the saving grace of the evening.

My family and I went here last night to celebrate my daughter in law's birthday. We were a party of 16-18 ppl. The ambiance was very nice as well as our waiter. I'm giving them a 1 star due to I ordered meatball sliders and herb mac n cheese, my daughter ordered mac n cheese, my husband ordered meatball sliders and another family member ordered the meatball sliders. Everyone else ordered something good else which we should have followed. The first taste of the meatball was terrible...I looked around the table to see if I was the only one disappointed with the taste and texture but I wasn't! We all were asking each other what did their meatballs taste like and nobody liked them. We thought they were veggie meatballs or something. When the waiter came back I asked him are these mystery meatballs because there's no meat in them. He said they're veal and pork meatballs. I asked why don't they have it on the menu stating that so customer's will know what they're ordering. Suppose someone can't have pork or veal and was under the impression that the meatballs were made of beef. The meatballs broke up like meat in a can. It was very disappointing. Now the mac n cheese looked very good but once I went to eat some it smelled like someone's breath. My daughter said the same thing. I don't know if it was the breadcrumbs that was on top or what. We always pass by YOLO and say we're gonna go there but now we regret it.

Beautiful atmosphere. Our waitress was nice, others were average. This is my second time going and I am never pleased with the menu. I feel they could definitely expand their very limited menu. The food was just ok. Nothing spectacular or made me excited to go again or that I would recommend. I only went the second time for the after dinner atmosphere since there are not many options in Fort Lauderdale.

Went for a late night dinner with the wife. Arrived at 1030p seated promptly. It was very busy but our waiter was very attentive. We had the tuna appetizer which was excellent. Wife ordered the beef two way plate and I had the filet with Mac n cheese both plates were very good. Dessert was the berry cheesecake which was also a great recommendation from our server.

We came here for brunch and the endless mimosa deal was great and so were the appetizers. The actually brunch meals were not so great, the home fries had no reasoning and were undercooked, the pork was over cooked, and the eggs looked like a teenager made them. I would give this place another try and go for the lunch food, but their breakfast wasn’t very good.

This place is electrifying in the evening. There is a large fireplace outside with a band playing when we were there. The happy hour is restricted only at the bar. They have plenty of seating area available inside. The food was good. Few notable appetizers were spicy calamari, peppers and artichoke dip. The main course of fillet mignon with mashed potatoes was very good. There is a dish called Beef two ways, must try. Go for it.

Waitress was very pleasant, delightful, and knowledgeable in the food choices and portions. We had a full party and were able to order and taste a couple of different items from the menu. The calamari is beyond delicious- a must have. Also as another starter we had a roasted corn dip that I will definitely be googling on how to make lol. The pork chops were meaty and very juicy, and the burger also juicy with the softest bun I've ever eaten. Just nice I would recommend and will be back soon.

The Food was DELICIOUS, we started with the Szechuan Calamari very flavorful just needed to be fried a tad less, but would definitely have it again. Also the Prime Rib with Acorn Squash and Verte Cort were nicely prepared. Their Yogurt Cheesecake was FANTASTIC, not overly sweet or heavy a perfect finish. The Banana Coconut Cream Pie though had a nice Banana flavor on the front end but a rather tart back end not a winner for me. We went on a Friday night at 7:30 latest time open for outside and was pleasantly surprised that with the LOUD Happy Hour crowd outside up front the back side area was conducive for conversation and very romantic. The Service was EXCELLENT, Prices reasonable and the ambiance/decor very stylish. Looking forward to our next meal there!!!!!

We came for brunch in Sunday. The food was excellent. There are live cameras on the grill and on the heat lamps before plates are delivered to their tables, and you can watch a screen and see what's going on at all times -- really neat! Based on online reviews, we started with the calamari, which really deserved all the rave I read about beforehand. The lobster roll small bite was okay. I normally don't care for steak and eggs, but this order here was delicious! And the brioche corn flake crusted french toast was just amazing. Super sweet, so you definitely don't need dessert after. The food was superb...service was okay, but not amazing. Despite this, YOLO is highly recommended!

The service leaves something to be desired. Very limited menu (especially for vegans & vegetarians). Chef does not do accommodations, even for an extra charge (ex; “extra mushrooms” etc). Bathrooms are too far away and the floors are way too slippery (especially for girls in heels). This place seemed very popular, but I’m not sure why. I felt it was overrated somewhat.

The atmosphere is the selling point it’s the middle of downtown and close to the beach and other parts of the city. I came here for a dinner party the other night and food and drink were above average however the service was horrible. I met one decent bartender but everyone else seemed like they hate working there! The negative energy is brewing this restaurant. For instance, I changed my order and my waitress was upset and grabbed my menu out of my hand and another the bartender was getting impatient when I asked which drinks were included in the special. This is my second time here and I was displeased.

If I could give this place a negative star I would. Sara the hostess is the best part of this business. Service was slow and the food was barely warm. That's not the worse part, after giving back my spinach dumplings that were horrible. My female companion washing her hands in the restroom witnessed the sous chef walk out the stall & not wash her hands. After speaking to the manager who was tall with an accent he done nothing.

Just moved down from NYC. Wife and I had dinner outside. Great environment/ambiance. Good drinks. Great staff. Double Pork chop was good. Porcini crusted NY Strip was cooked dry and lacked the porcini taste ($46)—too bad. Women who served at the outside bar were dressed like they worked at an upscale hooters, indecently and pushed a statement of devaluement which cheapened the experience. Overall: Not worth the price point.

Fun night time space to listen to music and have some drinks. Easy to get a drink at the bar. There's a cool outdoor fire pit seating area where you can help yourself to a chair or couch. There's also an indoor bar with dance floor and nightclub atmosphere. Good drink prices but I'm from Miami where drinks are always more expensive than in Fort Lauderdale. Not sure of the hours but night time places in Fort Lauderdale tend to close pretty early, around 1-2am.

Great ambiance. Walked past a beautiful veranda and outdoor bar surrounded by y'all bamboo plants with a view of Las Olas Blvd. Optimal for people watching, hehe but no seriously I didn't know why I never made my way in YOLO before, but it is worth a stop in. I ordered a well gin and tonic (well bottle was Bombay--yay!) it was the perfect amount of strength while being able to sip it down. Did not feel like a tourist trap spot at all, very laid back yet classy. Pro tip: Dress to impress, no flip flops here ladies! Will be back.

The food is delicious, the atmosphere is great, drinks are flowing. $5 drinks sponsored by Tito's vodka, $3 import and domestic beers, $5 appetizers menu with plenty to choose from. I went with 3 other people and our bill was less than $100 with tip. We left a little tipsy, and bellies full. Keep up the great work!

Horrible experience... NEVER GOING BACK!! SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE! Went for ladies night ordered food and a drink... Then when I went to the bar to enjoy the ladies night specials, they REFUSED to serve me because I am from Canada and didn't have a Florida ID.... I showed them various forms of ID (I'm 26 years old) and they still did not accept even after speaking to the manager. The horrible service and attitude I received was disgusting to say the least. They had already served me a drink but as soon as I move toward the bar they decide to refuse me??!! How does that make any sense?... To top it all off, my friend (who they decided to serve because she's American from New York) orders a glass of WHITE wine... Waited 25 minutes to receive it and when she did they brought her RED wine instead... Horrible experience!!

I've gone to yolo's for they're happy hour and was always please. Unfortunately I was disappointed to find their brunch was below-par. Had an omelet, toast and potatoes. The potatoes were slightly overcooked, omelette was subpar and the toast will simply horrible.Also the waiter simply did not engage with the table.he gave the appearance of being busy but when I looked up he was simply standing in the corner by the registers. I will definitely continue to visit them for happy hour and drinks at the bar. The brunches clearly off the table.

My coworkers and I went at 6pm on Tuesday for happy hour. The server brought us the menus then disappeared. After waiting a long time I called for two other servers to let them know that we were waiting, One told me to keep waiting for my server the 2nd completely ignored my calls. After 1 hr wait our server shows up at 7pm to take our order. (Past happy hour of course). We waited for 40 more mins then got up and left. Will NEVER return. This was HORRIBLE SERVICE. 1h and 40mins later and still no drinks no food, not even a cup of water. I could understand having this kind of wait on a weekend when its busy, but it wasn't busy at all.

YOLO has been a Fort Lauderdale hotspot for years, situated in the middle of the rapidly evolving East Las Olas office and restaurant district. As part of The Restaurant People's family, you can expect a sophisticated ambience and decor, good food and professional service. Come for happy hour and mix with an eclectic crowd of downtown workers and locals, it's popular so prepare accordingly. The dining experience is very good, short of exceptional, however refreshingly not over the top. Every dish we've had was good, not particularly memorable, which has it's place for business groups, friends and family from out of town or a date. Outdoor seating is available on the stylish patio, you'll feel an urban experience as in much larger cities. We love YOLO during season, as does everyone else, since it's a great place to dine outside and indulge in people and exotic car watching.

This place used to be a 5 star for me. The food was different with great ambience. Now, the food and service are questionable. It is a very popular pickup joint where people go to show-off. I mean, if you are single, it can be a fun place full of beautiful well-dressed people. The place is alive at night on weekends but that's not the case during the day. I think that people go for the pompous croud at night not for the food. Luxury cars lined up by the entrance tells all... This could be a good place for a fun date night but it does get loud, crowded and with long waits. Good location for a nice walk.
